YOU Do Matter – Just Know WHO YOU Are

I Can’t Do It Alone, Can You Help Me? “Why the House is Collapsing Around Us”

Theme:

“No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main… any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind; and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.” — John Donne, Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions, 1624

Four hundred years ago, a poet lying on what he believed was his deathbed understood something that our entire modern civilization has forgotten. John Donne looked out at the world from his sickroom and saw the truth: no one is an island. No one was ever meant to be. Interdependence—the harmonizing of positive energies between human beings—overcomes obstacles, many obstacles, that no individual could ever overcome alone. What do I mean? Take a look at one of the major underlying causes of so many of our problems today.

We have built an entire society on the myth of the solitary hero. And I use the word myth deliberately, because when you peel back the layers and look honestly at what our society is made of, you find it is made of myths, illusions, lies, deception, and manipulation. That is the architecture. That is the foundation. And until we see it clearly, we will keep wondering why the house is collapsing around us.

The Gospel of the Self-Made Individual

You can do it. Just do it. Be all that you can be. These slogans are everywhere, and they are all about the individual. It’s your ladder to climb, and the gold ring is at the top, and if you don’t reach it, well, that’s on you. Nobody mentions that the ladder was designed by someone else, that the rungs are greased, and that the gold ring, when you finally grasp it, turns out to be painted tin.

Twenty-four centuries ago, Plato gave us the most enduring image in all of Western philosophy: the allegory of the cave. Prisoners chained in darkness, watching shadows flicker on a stone wall, believing with absolute certainty that the shadows are reality itself. They give prizes to the prisoner who can name the shadows fastest. They build entire hierarchies of status around shadow-naming. And when one prisoner breaks free, climbs into the sunlight, and comes back to tell the others that everything they believe is an illusion, they do not thank him. They want to kill him.

.SheepleThat is not an ancient story. That is this morning’s news. We are a civilization of shadow-watchers, giving each other awards for describing the illusions most eloquently—and destroying anyone who turns around and looks at the fire.

The Valedictorian’s Lament

Let me show you how the myth works on the people who believe in it most faithfully—the winners.

You’re brilliant. Look at your homework assignments, look at your scores. You’re valedictorian. You’re unique. And then that valedictorian goes off to college. Let’s say they earn a scholarship to an Ivy League school—Harvard, Yale, Princeton. They arrive, and suddenly they’re depressed. Calling home: Mom, I’ve got a problem. What’s that? Well, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of valedictorians here, 4.0 students. There are some smart kids here. How am I supposed to compete with that?

And Dad, you saved for years, and I got a scholarship to get in, and I’m watching students with four-point averages break down—some have even taken their own lives—because how do you compete against someone who is there because their father built the university a hundred-million-dollar building? And they’re not terribly bright, but they always seem to be getting As, and they never seem to do homework. How does that work?

It works because the meritocracy is one of the myths. It was never a level playing field. It is a stage set, built to look like one.

A Letter Home from Wall Street

Then our valedictorian graduates and gets the job on Wall Street, and he thinks: finally, I no longer have to compete. I can earn a good living, pay back the debt I owe, and move forward—relationships, family, friends, a home, an apartment, a co-op. Then he gets down there, and after his first week he sees there are 175,000 just like him, all of them also graduated at the top of their classes, magna cum laude, and he thinks: oh my God, this is a hundred times worse than school. Everyone is competing against everyone.

I thought if someone says come in early and leave late, I’d come in at six o’clock. There were people there at four, working the European and Far East markets. So I’m thinking, how do I get eight hours of sleep if I have to be here at five in the morning? At the end of the day, when the stockbrokers and the executives finally left their seats, they were ordering in, because they couldn’t get the exclusive tables at the packed restaurants downstairs—the ones where the senior partners hold court and have bragging rights that they can get into any restaurant in the city—and here you are, eating Chinese food out of a carton at your desk.

Mom, I don’t know how to do this. This is a rat race, and the only thing you end up with in a rat race is dead rats.

I don’t have the money to go out to restaurants, and already I find myself stressed all the time. My blood pressure is up. I’m constipated. I wake up in the middle of the night convinced I’m going to get fired because someone else is doing a better job and they’ll get promoted and I won’t. Yes, I have a decent salary—but I don’t have a decent life. I have no balance. I don’t have a relationship, because who wants to be with someone who works 18 hours a day? I haven’t been to a museum. I live in New York City and I have not seen a single one of the great places that people cross oceans to visit. I haven’t been to a nightclub. I haven’t gone dancing.

And I don’t have friends here, because these people are like great white sharks looking for a nosebleed in a swimming pool. They’re not friends—they’re competitors. They all want bragging rights about how hard they’re working and the bonus they’re getting. Everything is about the bonus. And you know what’s left out of the whole conversation, Mom? The clients. The brokers make money whether the client makes money or loses everything. I see people using cocaine in the restrooms—it’s everywhere. They tell me it’s natural energy. It isn’t. It’s addictive behavior. But then, so is the need for success. And I have no life.

A Mother’s Answer

The mother gives her son a simple answer, and it is worth more than his entire education.

Look, you’re a good kid. But maybe you should re-examine the life you’re choosing, because it’s not a life. It’s a permanent, indentured internship, sustained by the hope that one day you’ll be invited into that sacred circle of success. Until that day, you have no life. You’re going to lose your health, because you need sleep—we all need sleep. And you need relationships, healthy ones—not a partner you use as an unpaid therapist to absorb your complaints. It looks like nothing in your world is joyful or happy or healthy, and you’re expected to endure it all alone. That’s the design: winner-take-all, survival of the fittest, and all anyone down there can talk about is power, excess, and invitations to exclusive places.

It’s true—Taylor Swift just had her wedding, and a couple of the partners were invited, and the scuttlebutt around the office was about the wives spending thousands on unique designer gowns. But ask yourself: what does it say about a singer, whose visible attributes begin and end with celebrity, and a football player, that they need the whole world as spectators to their excess? We can rent Madison Square Garden for 20 or 30 million dollars and invite 20,000 of our dearest, closest friends. You don’t want that. If you go down that street—if your dream becomes an invitation to those special parties—you will discover that the people at the special parties are not special at all. You don’t want to live in that world: the massive overconsumption, the homes, the clothes, the jewelry, all because she can sing. How is that going to change anyone’s life? It isn’t. He plays football. How is that going to change anyone’s life? It doesn’t. What they contribute is ego, insecurity, and insincerity, like all those air-kissing fools in Hollywood and on Wall Street and in West Palm Beach and Washington and Chicago. Their whole life is a lie.

Your father was a playwright. He did very well. He provided you and me and your brothers and sisters with a good standard of living—but not an excessive one. We lived in the same home all those years, and we were happy. We did the things that normal people do with their lives, and we did them together. Around the dinner table at the end of a day of work, nobody complained—everybody was aspirational. Everybody wanted to do something, and you all had the guidance to pursue it in a way that didn’t corrupt you. Your father never allowed himself to think that one successful movie script entitled him—entitled us—to change our standard of living and surrender our quality of life, the life where we had time, joy, happiness, love, curiosity, creativity, and the freedom to travel and see other cultures. Had he bitten into that poisoned fruit, he would have had to sell his soul and write things he didn’t believe in for the paycheck. Do you know how many actors, how many thespians, how many people spend their lives working at something they do not like, surrounded by people who are not likable—people as selfish and conceited and limited as the work itself? Do you know that nearly half of all college graduates never read another serious book for the rest of their lives? They’re too busy trying to make it.

You grew up in a home where we already had made it, because we made quality of life our first priority—love and respect for each other, for our neighbors, for our friends. We had joy, and not because we had a new gown to show off, or jewelry to brag about, or a Lamborghini or a Ferrari in the driveway. We drove Fords and Buicks and Chevys, and we were happy. And here is the part I most want you to hear: we were happy for other people’s success. When was the last time you saw anyone genuinely happy for someone else’s success at your Ivy League university, or on Wall Street?

I never see it, Mom. Everyone is angry when someone else succeeds. If it’s a woman, they tear her down. If it’s a man, they insist he couldn’t have done it honestly—he’s not smart enough, so he must have cheated. Lying is the standard vocabulary here. So you’re telling me I have to give up everything I worked so hard for? All those sacrifices—the trips I didn’t take because I was studying, the sports and intramurals I skipped, the nights I gave up to become the perfect son and the perfect student, the one everyone said would go far in life? Mom, as far as I’ve gotten is nowhere. I’m still on the first rung, and I’m looking around, and I don’t want to compete anymore. I can see the downside from here.

Then hear me, she says. You are a human being. You are not a brand. Your father is loved and respected by his peers because he never sold out. He never joined the special, unique group that collects big paychecks for writing garbage. All of his work is still remembered with fondness. Remember the summer you took the month of August and went down to an Amish farm? You spent a month there, eating their food, living their rhythm, humbling yourself. You came back and told me it was magnificent—just being around a cow you could hug, seeing the unconditional love in an animal’s eyes. You felt at peace. So why don’t you look for where the peace is, instead of where the bigger paycheck and the bigger bonus are? The people you work with are running on negative energy, and negative energy always burns its vessel. They will all end up in the same place: without friends, because nobody wants to spend a life beside someone who can only brag about himself and obsess over what he owns—the Kardashian model of existence, human beings straining to become brands. So it’s your choice.

The Shadows on the Wall

Now, what is the lesson in all of this? Everything in that story is accurate, but notice something: we never recognize the problem until it reaches its conclusion, until there is a crisis with drama attached. Only then do we look back. The prisoners in Plato’s cave never question the shadows while the show is running. It takes a catastrophe to turn their heads.

Take the last catastrophe. It has now been more than six years since COVID began, and when we look back honestly, we think: my goodness, consider all the lies we were told. Consider the deception. The scientists, the bankers, the billionaires who bought in were handed indemnification—they could not be sued even if people died. And yet the average American, wanting to be a good citizen, lined up and said: I’ll take whatever you’re giving me; I’m sure it’s not harmful. And then, years later, they found out.

Think for a moment about what individuals accomplish when they work collectively on the dark side of their being—when the thing they build together is a deception. By my assessment, and by the accounting of the independent researchers whose work I trust, we did not have a true pandemic that justified what followed; we should never have had those vaccines rushed out, or remdesivir pushed as the protocol. But people trusted, because they did not have the resources to challenge what they were told. The few who did challenge it—a few doctors, a few scientists, a few journalists, a few activists and nurses—were attacked. All of them. They were smeared, deplatformed, destroyed. And others, lesser in character, watched and said: I don’t want to open that door and find a bulldozer coming at me from the other side. So the cave stayed quiet, and the shadow-play went on.

Consider the toll as I read the evidence: tens of millions harmed worldwide, and by the estimates I find credible, hundreds of thousands of Americans—more than 600,000—who did not have to die. We had study after study documenting myocarditis, pericarditis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and deaths following the injections. The PCR tests themselves—the very instrument that manufactured the emergency—produced false positives at staggering rates; the reviews I have examined suggest the great majority of positive results were wrong, which means millions were falsely diagnosed and placed on protocols that could harm or kill them. All these people trusted. And when the truth began to surface, not a single person stepped forward to take responsibility. Just like at a Wall Street firm, just like at any major corporation—everyone points the finger at someone else. When was the last time anyone in corporate America was held accountable for their sins and omissions? They pay a fee, and they move on. How fair is that?

We have truth on our side, said Anthony Fauci. No—you had power on your side, and a compliant media, and an indemnified industry, and that is not the same thing as truth. When science becomes orthodox, it ceases to be science. It stops questioning itself. It no longer challenges the improbability of what we are commanded to accept as absolute.

Absolutism is a danger. Exceptionalism is a danger. And the mind that wants to open but is afraid of the consequences whispers to itself: I’m not sure I can handle what I might see, so I’ll keep my eyes closed. But do you think anything negative stops existing because you’ve closed your eyes to it—whether it’s the warming climate, or racism, or the slaughter in Gaza? No. It is still there. Open your eyes, and suddenly there is an energy burst, because you have seen the truth—and once you have seen it and experienced it, how do you close your eyes again and pretend you didn’t? The truth is that deception exists, and it has been institutionalized, commodified, and weaponized, and now it is a utility for those who profit from it—just as, on Wall Street, there are whole industries that profit from someone else’s loss.

The Betrayal of the Good Citizen

And the lies are not confined to medicine. Look at our educational system. Look at how much we spend on the average student. Just recently it was reported that some 900 public schools in New York City are failing—failing—to educate the children inside them. Why? What are they learning? Or rather, why aren’t they learning? Look at the agendas that crowded out education itself—the ideological curricula, the identity politics—and then look at the lack of genuine support. The answer is always the same: make it bigger, make it more expensive, and somehow the child is supposed to learn. Then we discover it doesn’t work, and nobody is accountable for that either.

You went to a good school—all your schools were good—and you were told that this would deliver you into a major corporation where you would have security. To the contrary: what you found were large rewards reserved for the people willing to sacrifice their entire existence to make the people above them richer. Does that make any sense to you?

And this pattern is old. Look back at the 1970s and early 1980s, when the Federal Reserve under Paul Volcker drove interest rates toward 22 percent, and farmers—men and women who worked seven days a week growing our food—could not make their mortgage payments and lost their land. Some of those farms had been in the same family for over a hundred years. Gone. Who tried to save them? Nobody. Who said, let’s give them a break—after all, they feed us? No one. And in the same era, corporate America discovered outsourcing, and over the following decades tens of millions of American jobs were shipped away. The company that had anchored a town for generations became nothing but a brand, purchased for pennies on the dollar, its products manufactured overseas. What about my job? I worked here 30 years. It’s gone—and I have no skills to work anywhere else. Then your city becomes the Rust Belt, and you go to the coffee shop every morning and sit with your fellow workers and talk about how you were betrayed. Has anyone ever paid the cost of betraying people for financial gain? The answer is no. And they won’t.

That is what happens when you decide to be a good citizen who plays by the rules and trusts everyone—when you hand over your power at the ballot box and your power in the marketplace and never stop, turn around, and ask: what are the consequences? Because if we looked ahead before we committed ourselves, we would see that the consequences of these arrangements are always against us. Never for us.

What the Grandfathers Knew

Now let me take a step back, because there is another inheritance, and I received it from my grandfather. He told me this: in the 1930s, people worked together. There were no social safety nets to catch the homeless and the jobless. Men traveled as so-called hobos on freight trains around the country, hoping the next stop would offer some work so they could send a little money home. More often than not the work wasn’t there—until Roosevelt created the national programs that gave them something to build. But here is what my grandfather wanted me to understand: they worked together. They formed collectives. Hundreds of people, all unemployed, all with skills, would gather up what others threw away—a broken radio, a broken lamp—and together they would fix them, and sell them, and share what came in. It was the we. It was the interconnectivity of people who understood how important connecting and harmonizing with other human beings is to society and to life itself.

You, my son, grew up in a different generation—the generation of the me. Don’t leave anything on the table. Survival of the fittest. Look at the brutality we now celebrate in our sports, where we expect even a basketball game to look like a hockey brawl. Since when was that athleticism? Look at the superstar athletes making millions, and the entourage of strangers that instantly materializes on their arms. People too young and too unformed to make proper decisions, told that as long as someone is putting a check in their hand, it’s all about me, not we. And notice: the superstar who will not play as part of the team usually watches the team fail even as his own numbers soar. The me wins the statistics and loses the season.

Civilizations That Learned the Secret

Here is what they never teach that valedictorian in all his years of schooling: throughout history, whole civilizations have existed peacefully and honorably—and thrived—because they learned the importance of the we.

Go down to the Valley of Mexico, to the ruins of Teotihuacan, once one of the largest cities on the face of the earth. More than one hundred thousand people lived there. And when the archaeologists dug, they found something that confounded them: no palaces. No throne rooms. No monuments carved with the boasts of kings. Instead they found block after block of spacious, well-built apartment compounds—quality housing, plastered and painted, for ordinary families. A city of a hundred thousand that apparently did not believe anyone needed to have more than everyone else in order to have joy and happiness in life. We never hear about that. We are taught to look for the civilizations that left pyramids to tyrants and palaces to god-kings, as if grandiosity were the measure of greatness. But that is not what defines a civilization. Living and working in harmony, with quality of life and joy for everyone—that is worth studying.

And Teotihuacan was not alone. Five thousand years ago, in the Indus Valley, the cities of Harappa and Mohenjo-daro flourished for centuries—meticulously planned streets, covered drains, wells, and baths available not just to an elite but to ordinary households. Archaeologists found no grand palaces there either, no colossal royal tombs, and remarkably little evidence of warfare. A great civilization, prosperous and long-lived, that appears to have poured its wealth into the shared life of its people rather than into the vanity of its rulers. Go back further still, nine thousand years, to Çatalhöyük in Anatolia—thousands of people living in houses so equal in size and furnishing that scholars struggle to find the chief, because there may not have been one. And on this continent, the Haudenosaunee—the Iroquois Confederacy—bound five, then six, nations together under the Great Law of Peace, deliberating in councils that asked how each decision would fall upon the seventh generation to come. Their confederacy so impressed the colonists that echoes of it appear in the American founders’ own debates about union. In southern Africa, this wisdom has a name that survives to this day: ubuntu—I am because we are. A person is a person through other persons.

Now set beside those civilizations the monuments of the me, and listen to the poet Shelley:

“My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;

Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!”

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay

Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away.

That is the final audit of every empire of ego: a shattered statue and a boast that the desert swallowed. The pharaohs built pyramids with the whip; the quiet cities built water systems for their neighbors. Guess whose achievement still instructs us in how to live.

I saw the living remnant of this older wisdom myself. In India they have farmers’ markets so vast that if you took the largest markets of Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington and put them together, they would be dwarfed by a single Indian market. Two or three hundred small vendors setting out their wares—twenty of them offering different curries alone, others with grains and pulses and legumes, cashews of a size you have never seen in the United States, exotic fruits and vegetables in pyramids of color. And they were at peace. They were poor, but they were at peace, because they had family, they had connectivity, and it was strong. You would take your potatoes to your neighbor: how many potatoes do you need? A bushel. And how many lentils do you need? Enough for two days, for my family. And they would exchange it—fair exchange, I give you this and you give me that. And this was generational. For hundreds of years this sharing went on.

Then along came the Green Revolution and destroyed it. You don’t need 200 different vendors, they said. We’ll take your land, give you one engineered strain of rice, sell you the pesticides and the machinery that go with it, and you won’t have to grow anything else. And suddenly the diversity was gone, the exchange was gone, the independence was gone—and the economy and health of millions of small farmers were sacrificed for the benefit of a handful of corporations. People who had fed each other for centuries now frequently went hungry.

It was the same lesson in every village that ever worked: people excelled in more than one thing, and each person shared the gift of what they had mastered. The baker had someone in before dawn so there would be fresh bread for the town. The one who understood the apothecary’s art went looking for the right herbs and seasonings and spices when a neighbor fell sick. You went to them—but they were your neighbors, they were your friends. Trust, built on the simple covenant: I have a talent and I will share it with you; you have a talent and you will share it with me. That covenant is what has kept civilizations together, families together, happiness and love of life together, throughout all of history.

The Orchestra and the Philosophers

Together we form an orchestra—each of us mastering a single instrument, but working together we make music none of us could make alone, especially if someone who understands how to harmonize the whole, one of our elders, stands as the conductor. That is a metaphor, but the greatest philosophers meant it literally. Seneca, the Stoic, wrote that all that you behold is one—we are the parts of one great body, and Nature made us kin. Marcus Aurelius, an emperor with more power than any Wall Street partner will ever hold, reminded himself daily: what is not good for the hive is not good for the bee. Aristotle taught that the human being is by nature a social animal, and that the one who lives outside the common life is either a beast or a god. Socrates and Plato spent their lives in dialogue—in dialogue, mind you, not in monologue—because they knew truth itself is something we can only approach together. The ancients knew the importance of the we. They knew the importance of the intergenerational exchange of energy and wisdom.

Right now, son, you are in a place where you cannot integrate your values, because your values are not compatible with the values of the people around you. If they are interested only in making as much money as they can, seizing the biggest bonus they can, sacrificing as much of their lives as they can to the company, then that environment will seep into you—epigenetically, energetically, it will adversely affect you. They are not aware of it in the moment, but their karma will come, because you pay a price for every wrong decision in life. You just don’t know when you will pay it, or to what degree it will manifest. But we do know what happens when people empty their lives of their toxic energies—toxic people, toxic environments, toxic work—and start over, asking: what do I want my life to be? Even at an older age: what do I want from this moment forward, and what tools do I need?

That means stopping at the inflection point. Going to a quiet place and asking yourself: the tools I was given granted me certain talents, but I am not sure I want to spend them this way. My heart told me I should do A, but my family and my peers told me I should do B. So I became a good son and a good citizen—but I never became good to my own desires, my own needs, my own ambitions and sense of meaning. That is the recipe for psychic stress: smiling on the outside, miserable on the inside. And it matters enormously what environment you work in, what people surround you, what compromises they have normalized—especially when they stand above you as policymakers and opinion leaders, and you are expected to go along.

Bottom Up, Not Top Down

If you really want to solve problems, you cannot solve them from the top down. You have to solve them from the bottom up. The simple reality is that no one on Wall Street is going to change. No one in any governmental agency is going to change. No one is going to reform the bureaucracy and the technocracy that run the scientific community, the medical community, the financial community, the energy community, the food and agriculture community. Nothing at the top is going to change unless something cataclysmic forces it, and cataclysms are rare. The people inside those institutions will keep being rewarded simply for belonging to a system that is, in and of itself, palpably—almost indescribably—negative. They will keep announcing that they have truth on their side, and as long as the rewards keep flowing, everyone inside will nod along: yes, yes, I’m a part of that.

The poet Yeats saw where this leads a century ago: things fall apart; the centre cannot hold. The centre cannot hold because the centre is hollow—it is made of the myths, the illusions, the lies, the deception, and the manipulation we have been examining all along. These institutions have to collapse under the weight of their own hubris and corruption, and in part they already are. The question—the only question that matters—is what takes their place. And that is where the optimism for the future lives.

So work together, in small groups. Work on a project that excites you, that gives you meaning. Work so that we can make changes at the personal level, the community level, because we are not going to make good changes at the corporate level, the government level, or the media level—those are too far captured. Think about what is coming: artificial intelligence, automation, downsizing. When those waves break, the people at the top will not suffer. They never do. We will. Which is exactly why the most important thing we can do at this time, amid the failure of all these institutions, is to stop facing the future alone.

The We Counts

The American civilization is only 250 years old, and it is collapsing in part—the institutions hollowed out, the trust squandered, the good citizens betrayed one lie at a time. And people look at all of it and say: what can I do? I’m just one person.

I’m saying: stop being one person. We were never meant to be one person. Walt Whitman, our own great poet of democracy, opened his masterpiece with a line our age has forgotten how to read: “For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.” That is not sentiment. That is the operating manual of every civilization that ever thrived—the quiet city in the Valley of Mexico, the water-carriers of the Indus, the longhouse councils of the Haudenosaunee, the market villages of India, the collectives of the 1930s, the family around the playwright’s dinner table. They all knew what the shadow-watchers in the cave do not: that no one is an island, that the bell tolls for all of us, and that the only wealth that has ever endured is the wealth we create together.

We were meant to work together. The we counts. The me is only a supporter of the we.

Let Go of the Illusion

Derivative of ‘Love Love’ by Sumwhere7, CCBYSA4.0 | ‘CERO Fear’ by Cero, PD0

There has never been a time of greater potential for the liberation of the human spirit than the time we live in today, and never a moment when the human spirit has stood in greater jeopardy. Huge forces of awakening are at work amongst us, but huge forces also operate to counteract that process and plunge us back into millennial sleep.

Big government, big business, the big media and the big, hierarchical religions all thrive and prosper by multiplying and feeding off our fear. Every thought we have that causes us to feel fear strengthens these forces while shutting us down and limiting our potential.

On the other hand, every thought that leads us to manifest love awakens us and opens the way to renewed vistas of endless possibility.

The choice is ours. It always has been. In this time of awakening it is only fear – engineered, implanted, deliberately contrived fear – that prevents us from making the right choices and that misleads us again and again into the paths of hatred, greed and suspicion that destroy the human spirit.

Conscious Creation: Becoming an Observer of Your Own Life

June 19th, 2018

By Hilde Larsen

Take a step back. Take a good and long look at your life from an observer’s perspective. Look at it from the outside, and become mindful about what you do and say on a daily basis.

Most of the time our days are filled with the same types of tasks. We go to the same work place, we hang around the same crowd of people, and we engage in the same stuff. But look further and even more specific. Look at the simple things. What are you eating? What are you thinking? When do you get up in the morning, and when do you go to bed? You brush your teeth and you take a shower. How do you dress? Do you work out? A whole series of rituals and repetitions. Most often this is our lives, and that is what is locking us in and holding us back.

Most of the time we are in a sleep-like state, unaware of the fact that we are living this life on autopilot; unknowingly living the same old story that we were brought up to believe we chose. Most of what we do and say in a day has never been chosen, not consciously, it has been programmed. It is fed to us through television, radio, and society in general, which bombards our whole being with signals of the “proper” life. It’s not all bad of course. Most of us have learned and experienced some beautiful things, developed great values, and have met some wonderful people.

Life might be good, but the lies and programming have to go.

The good and bad news is; it’s not your fault. The subconscious mind is simply a programmed chip if you will, that is acting like your pilot. It is keeping you locked into the false belief that you are free and in charge, when in reality — you’re not.

All through school, our lives were put into a system of structure. Through a controlled education on topics and written “truths”, our whole picture of the world, who we are and who we need to be has been molded. Brick by brick our house and the whole city of reality has been formed and built around us, leaving little or no room for creative or free interpretation. The stage has been set. We will be told the same old story, over and over until it sticks. It becomes a truth for all our cells. It does not matter if it is the real truth, it still becomes ours. And we own it and honor it.

This is why becoming an observer is so important to achieving a consciously creating mind. Be aware of how you speak to your friends, what stories you tell. Are they the same complaints about work, your hubby, the children? Maybe you are talking about how you are not feeling good, your health, or other topics that interest you? It can be anything, but as long as it’s not uplifting your spirit, and as long as it’s not reflecting who you are and your inner most pure emotions, it’s holding you back. It is keeping you locked in the grip of the autopilot, and so, life becomes a different day with the same old story.

If you have children, I am sure you have told yourself “I sounded just like my mother/father”. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it tells us a little something about the programming at hand. Without conscious observation, we adopt everything that is shown to us, like behaviors and thought patterns. We learn through ear, mouth and eyes. As children we are like sponges, literally soaking everything in. We watch and learn, listen and record. The hard drive is filled up little by little. We have no filter or manual to go by. We save all and delete nothing; that is the only rule. We do not have the ability to believe or not believe at this point, so we save everything as our truth.

As we grow older, we hold on to it like it’s our connection to ourselves and add it to our past-life and cellular memories. Yes, our cells have memories, and most likely, you are not here for the first time. Your story is much older than your current life. Much of it is inherited from the generations before us. No wonder the story is a powerful one, and that it’s hard to let it go. No wonder we let it run its course, on autopilot, until it really hurts.

This is why we need to become an observer to be able to consciously create anything. Change comes through awareness and the willingness to change; through observing and getting real about our patterns. Until we are aware of our actual thoughts and actions, we remain disempowered. We stay fighting against our own inner programming. Change becomes hard, and life more frustrating.

I know all about not changing my ways until I was almost dead. I made my story my own, and I believed every word of it. I was carrying so many false beliefs that I no longer felt connected to anything but my big head, my stubbornness and my stressful life. Completely disconnected from myself, I had no inner feeling of belonging or self-worth, and I became chronically ill.

Sadly, my story is not unique in the sense that I suffered from my programming. My story is different from many other people’s in the sense that I decided I was done. I was done believing in that nonsense, that falsehood and that old programming. I was done believing I would never get healthy again, and that I was somehow unworthy of health and happiness. I was done believing that I was broken and not whole.

My life was worth it.

I was worth it.

The difference between a belief and the truth

It is easy to believe what everyone else believes; to follow the flow of the masses, never observing our own life or analyzing why we do what we do and believe what we believe. The thing is, until we change how we look at the world, the world stays the same. As long as we keep walking down that same street, that’s where we will be, right?

Observing our lives will help reveal the larger picture. It allows us to detect false beliefs and emotional detachments as well. Stepping out of our heads, where we are so easily manipulated, lets us tap in to our hearts, our innate wisdom, and our pure child-like enthusiasm — and into truth and conscious creations. We even have children’s stories that tell us this; that it is easy to be a sheep in the masses.

The Emperor’s New Clothes is a great example:

Once upon a time, there was an Emperor who was extremely interested in having the best quality clothes. His whole world evolved around it, and he did not care much of anything else. One day several conmen came to see him and told him they were the World`s best weavers. They would make him the most beautiful fabric for his outfits. The Emperor was thrilled. They told him they made fabrics from a very special thread. The garments would appear invisible to anyone who was stupid or not doing their jobs.

The conmen ordered some of the finest materials, and secretly they sold them to get the money. They fooled the Emperor and his servants, by pretending to weave with nothing. The Emperor fired all his staff that couldn`t see this imaginary fabric, as he believed they were liars and not doing their jobs. It became easy for them to lie to keep their jobs. Now they all said they saw the beautiful threads turn to this fantastic textile.

The Emperor ends up getting dressed in nothing at all, believing that his garments were invisible only to cheaters. He started a procession where his servants walked behind him with their hands raised to hold the cape. The whole town admired him and his new clothes until one young boy yelled that the Emperor had no clothes on, that he was in fact naked.

In this story, great wisdom is revealed. The Emperor wanted to keep his position and did not hesitate to get rid of anyone who threatened it. The conmen were getting rich by fooling, scamming and playing mind games, and the masses were prone to follow the crowd and accept the untruth of the authority. The servants were afraid of losing their jobs, and only the child had no agenda. The young boy is the voice of consciousness in this story. In his naivety and a life deprived of long standing programming and fear, he speaks his truth. I want us all to be this boy, to be able to speak our truths, and to not be held back by the old story.

Only when we break free from the old patterns and awaken to the fact that our power does not emerge from our brain, will we feel and act up to our full potentials. You see, the brain is simply an organ, a tool, to be used or not. Our true power comes from our spirit, our hearts and the God force within us.

The brain can be manipulated, our hearts cannot. Many of our stories hurt us on a daily basis by holding us back from evolving, healing, growing, and creating true happiness and fulfillment for ourselves. They are the roadblocks from hell, and the obstructions of our true essence.

What are the stories we are telling ourselves?

  • I am limited
  • I can never get healthy
  • I am typically not good at anything
  • I do not have the right resources
  • I am too young/old
  • I am not good enough
  • I don’t have enough money and never will
  • I am not beautiful
  • I am not smart enough
  • I cannot help it, it is my genes
  • I was abused, so it is not that easy for me
  • I am all alone, and life is tough
  • I am sick and will never get better
  • Nobody loves me
  • I need to be perfect
  • It is not about me. I am not that important
  • I cannot do this
  • My family will not allow it
  • Nothing good ever happens to me
  • I am weak!

The list is endless. It is a reflection of our bullshit, and in fact, none of this is true. Not ever. Did you find something on this list that you believe is you? If you do, step back and observe. Free of the story of deceit and lies. Free of the old programming. Hopefully you will discover your eagerness to find out the truth that is hidden within you.

“It doesn’t matter how many times a lie has been told, and how many people believe it, it will never be the truth!” – Hilde Larsen

Let this be the time that you step up and take back your power. Let this be the time that you have been waiting for your whole life. Open your mind and heart, and let everything you have ever learned and held as your truth be questioned, and let all of the invisible walls and fences come down. To be able to reach the subconscious mind, the conscious mind has to be up for the task. You have to be willing to see with your eyes open and to look at some less-than-flattering patterns in your life. This is not a competition or a race towards being perfect. Forget perfect! Life is so much larger than that.

A heart felt decision has to be made to be able to follow in your own new footsteps. You are not only the one you have been waiting for, you are the only one you have been waiting for.

You are the teller of your stories, the creator of your thoughts, the master of your actions, and the head of your life operations. You are the observer AND the doer, and the more you step back the more consciously you can create — from your own truth, not that of others.

You are the BOSS; the creative force of nature that can change the course of your life, through observing what you do, think, feel, and believe.

Step back and step forth.

Reflecting on Tomorrow

A moving and powerful statement from my daughter, Emilie Clasgens Wilson, in regard to standing up for WHO we are in the midst of uncertainty and fear:

I’m not one to post my personal feelings and opinions on Facebook. I appreciate and tend to guard my privacy. But I woke up this morning after a restless night of sleep to memories of Trump onstage, standing next to his young son who looked like a forgotten boy, unsupported by adults, and I remembered echoes of his hollow acceptance speech.

I jumped on my phone, on Facebook, to try to connect with people who might feel as I do, to commiserate as conscientious objectors in mourning.

I see sorrow, anger, and disbelief.

I see genuine hopefulness, too.

I’ll cling to that, because it’s all I’ve got right now.

I see people who are afraid that we’ll slide back into a time of outright racism, homophobia, sexism, a time when you and your loved ones can be physically, verbally, emotionally assaulted for practicing a particular religion or identifying as a particular gender or being born on the other side of invisible lines for just being anything other than a white man born in America.

I made myself a promise this morning:

I will not take my position in this country, or in this world, for granted.
I will NOT participate in subtle or overt racism, sexism, homophobia, or in anything that implies or states the inherent “betterness” of one group of people.
I will stand up for my rights and for the rights of my fellow Americans to be exactly who we are, and to fight the fear that we may be entering a time when we could once again be penalized for this.

Because I have to do something: I promise I won’t do nothing.

Taking Back Our Focus

Information Fixation and the True Breakaway Civilization

It’s been quite a concern for me for some time now watching the growing information fascination phenomenon metastasize. It’s become contagious and extremely toxic for those who should have transcended this energetic level some time ago. If we are aware of the fact that we are co-creators of our reality, why are we fixated on this dark, false imposed one and its projection instead of what we know to be true and pure and empowering?

Sure, we need to be aware of what’s going on around us and see through this façade, but once we do, then what?

Why do we dwell on these dark temporal and clearly manipulative realities? Once we know they’re negatively charged and spiritually poisonous and clearly coming from the wrong source, why do we keep drinking at their well? Is the next purely logical step so hard to take? To break free of it and assert what we know to be the true alternative world? Or is something even more close to home afoot – having to do with our own personal issues?

Enter the Egoic Self Preservation Loop

For some reason we wrap our identity around what we participate in. Even though we have clearly found out that we each are the captain of our own sovereign ship, we still keep running around their decks and want to know every intricate detail of how their damned matrix tanker operates.

Where’s the cut off point? When is enough enough?

Never – but only if we’re operating in their system. That’s what it’s designed to be, a vortex. Entertain it and you become it. New and fanciful ways but part of it we are when we do this, when we’re caught in the fascination loop, for whatever personal or outside stimulated reason. This is where other forces are in full play, so our seeming reasons for being there are even convoluted within their false paradigm.

At every level. We are not strong enough to operate in their field. It requires a dumbed down vibrational change to be on their level, and at that level we are destined to lose – even if we appear to be so-called winning.

It’s a trap.

News Fever and the Grip of the Info Grid

I’ve worked in actual news rooms. It’s frantic, and oneupmanship is the skill of choice, even if only with yourself to excel at what you do, but it’s addictive. Stress is a known killer but it’s the operation system in the survival of the fittest world out there. Staying on “top” of what’s going on becomes a 24/7 addiction and it sucks – literally – sucking the very life out of you.

But ironically you feel very connected, and on “top” of what’s going on in the world. Your personal life might go to hell but you feel essential to the process, and thereby very connected and self affirmed.

It’s a drug. A vibrational source of fascinating deception.

The internet has made amazing things available like no other time in known history. There’s no doubt about that. But how are we handling it? Websites are awash in up to the minute breaking news, each trying to “keep up” with the latest, even with the best of motives. Just because it may be “alternative” doesn’t change this dynamic. We’re feeding off it, and feeding into it.

Where’s the break-off point? Shouldn’t we as conscious warriors recognize when we’re being played, drained and tripped off? It appears the alt-stream current is predominantly well into this mode. It doesn’t mean the reasons are all wrong and everything’s a psy-op or wannabe cash machine – it just means we need to find our own cut off point and listen to the prompts telling us when we’re caught in something.

As well as have the personal discipline to turn it off.

So much is at play, but yesterday’s truth can become today’s bullshit with just a spiritual nuance, a wrong source, or twisted application. That or just the overwhelming quantity of fundamentally negative crap can sink our once sailing ships – if we’re not careful.

Choose Your Battles – Don’t Let Them Choose You

Reactive living is a bitch. If we just react to everything that crosses our path or our screen we are not living very responsibly nor consciously. Time for meditation, being in nature, relaxing with friends, and doing personal energy work, are imperative.

More now than ever.

This has been the theme of the 3 plus months I’m taking to visit Europe and it’s been amazing, especially the energy work and allowing time to have my bearings reset and energy system rewired. It had to take movement from my previous surroundings and deliberately laying aside a good chunk of time to allow the process to take hold. As a result my life has radically changed, in some obvious ways but mostly in more subtle yet deeply profound ways.

And this needs to keep on. That’s the main message.

Taking the initiative on life instead of letting circumstances or the onslaught of information direct us is so empowering, howbeit challenging and somewhat disconcerting. Seeing new things means being confronted with new reponse-abilities. How much am I taking on board for real? How much will I let these new understandings of whatever sort affect the course of my life?

There’s always a lot of letting go involved in real change. Old habits, viewpoints, understandings, attachments, social contracts and on they go.

All I know is: When our authentic self is knocking on the inside of the door of our hearts we better answer and let it out, come what may.

Therein lies the key to the true breakaway civilization being born within and without us.

We Are the True Breakaway Civilization

It’s ironic how the intruders of our planet think they’re creating a technological breakaway civilization, capable of not only fully controlling our world but actually believing they can now invade and colonize other planets in their pathetic state. Psychopathy doesn’t begin to address the level of deviance of such a mind set.

Yet it exists. In our midst.

As completely out of touch with Creative Source these people, beings or hyper-dimensional sources are, they are very active and even walk among us in many forms, and exert empathy-devoid power with abandon. The question immediately arises: Why? Why do they exist in a Universe that clearly curries love, community and togetherness as the essential part of its most basic fabric?

Again, it’s not a time to be unconsciously reactive. All is good and essentially right – at a very profound level. Yet the paradox rides on. We are still in situations where we need to respond – but consciously.

Not only is this the great school of learning, but a great contest. But awareness of the overall must predominate. All is here for a very deep purpose, despite the hand to hand combat.

Again. A paradox of very great and profound dimensions. But here we are. Waking up to the grand design yet being called up to respond consciously and participate in meaningful ways.

Break Away!

While vibrations rise and the great awakening continues to erupt, the onus is still on us. How do we respond and at what level? Will we feed the lower level testing energies by fighting back on their level, or will we rise to new heights of awakened activism?

Not so easy to discern but once we do and literally break away from the parasitic mindsets and lower level understandings of our current situation things begin to make incredibly clear sense.

We are breaking away. As we affirm what’s right and true and live according to our convictions, we feel a tremendous difference in our reality. We’re separating from the host and parasite – the doomed cycle of entrapped slumbered-down civilization. Breaking away into a new realm of co-creativity and sense of tremendous empowerment.

It may appear vague at first, but it’s happening. On a massively broad scale as awakening souls feel the pull, but much more profoundly manifested by the vanguard of truly realized souls coming to life – activating and taking the necessary steps towards freedom.

Lead on, lead on. The movement works itself into the vein of transition. It’s not leadership nor followership, it’s co-creation, where our only time is in the now.

Manifest. But do it. All the way.

Love always, Zen

6 Steps to Lighten Up

How To Get Out Of A Funk In 6 Easy Steps

grounding with earthby Sarah Petruno
Shamana

You’ve been having a bad morning, a bad day, a bad week – your car wouldn’t start on the way to work, then it started snowing and your forgot your ice scraper, you forgot your lunch, and your favorite food cart was not there, then, when you finally got home, you realized you forgot to turn the slow cooker on this morning.

This is miserable! And the temptation, to remain sulky the rest of the day, evening, or the next few days, feeling down on your luck, focusing on all the terrible, is very high. We all do it – we have a series of crappy events, then, we just want to sit down and feel sorry for ourselves.

While this is certainly an option, there is an alternative. We can’t change what happened, but we can change how it made us feel. And while yes, you’ve heard this a million times before, there IS a way that you really can do this. With practice, in as little as 10 minutes or less, you can quickly energetically heal yourself and shift your perception, turning your crappy day, into an opportunity to realize all that you are grateful for, and give yourself a second chance to change your mood and outlook. All it takes, is to realize you are in a funk, then decide you don’t want to be anymore. Then, follow the steps below – and boom – your sad day cloud is lifted, and you begin to feel better and motivated to give it another shot. This process, is a quick, simplified version of a grounding and clearing meditation. Get out of a funk, ground, and clear your energy in 10 minutes or less. So, how about it?

How to Get Out of a Funk – In 6 Easy Steps

1. Ground Yourself.

This is the first step in working with energy, and as we begin, you’re becoming a self energy healer. The process of grounding is essential to all spiritual and energetic healing practices. Simply, you place a grounding cord that is connected to the seat of yourself to the Divine Energy located deep within the earth. I call this Earth Energy. This anchors you to the Earth, and allows you access to receive Earth Energy – it also provides a firm foundation to connect you, with the Divine Mother Earth. If you’re connecting upward, you need to be firmly rooted on the Earth, because, well, that’s where you live at this time and this is where most of your energy comes from. Without grounding before connecting upward, you could lift off and become lifted, which can create feelings of aloofness and disconnection. Grounding yourself allows you to in essence, pull it together, calm down, feel a sense of stability, and security – you’re connecting with sacred Earth Energy here, and in doing so, a sense of calmness, centeredness and stability is always the result. Seated in a chair, with your feet on the floor and your hands in the receptive position, take a few deep breathes, and while doing so, imagine a tree trunk starting at the base of your spine, encompassing your legs, and traveling down into the earth. The roots of this tree extend deeper and deeper until you reach the center of the Earth, where your roots will reach the center of the Earth, the location of the source of Earth Energy. Imagine this center as a glowing ball, and allow your roots to wrap around it a few times. Now, imagine your roots traveling back up to you. With each deep breath, imagine you are taking up white Earth Energy into your roots, and drawing it up to your body. You are now accessing Earth Energy. Imagine the energy flowing up your roots until it reaches your feet – and see it travel upward through your thighs, torso, chest, until it reaches the top of your head, the Crown Chakra. Imagine it flowing out of the top of your head, like water from a glorious crystal fountain, the blowhole of a whale, a geyser eruption. Allow all or some of this Energy to cycle back down from your head to your feet, in a loop, and travel back down to the center of the Earth. Complete this loop 2-3 times, to ensure that Earth Energy is completely flowing through your physical body. You are now grounded.

2. Remove Foreign Energy.

Now, it’s time to remove all the energy that you have absorbed or has been transferred onto you, that is no longer serving you. For now, we will be focusing on how to remove it the foreign, negative, not-you energy. This happens in 2 parts – an internal removal of foreign energy, and an external, aura focused energy removal. Internal Energy Removal. Using the circuit of Earth Energy that is now flowing through you, you can remove, or flush out, the foreign energy inside your physical body that is no longer serving you. To do this, simply imagine that as the Earth Energy cycles back down to your feet from your crown, the strength, and energetic pull of the flow is yanking out all the little black and grey wisps of energy that are no longer needed, and flushing them out, back down to the center of the earth, where they will be cleansed and purified. If you are familiar with Biore Pore Strips, the process is similar to that, except internal. The energy no longer serving you, is being pulled out and flushed away by the flow of Earth Energy. Aura Energy Removal. In addition to the foreign energy existing externally, foreign energy also attaches itself and sticks to your aura, as part of a natural process of the energy that exists all around us, radiating from each being who may cross your path. After you have finished grounding, and the internal energy flush, now is time to take a peek at your aura, your external energy, and see what it looks like. Your Aura is your energetic shell that exists around you physical body, imagine it now, as a golden egg that extends all around you, including above your head and beneath your feet. Imagine what it looks like, and imagine now, where foreign energy, energy that does not belong to you, exists. This foreign energy, can be any place surrounding you, and typically looks black or grey in color. The shapes can look like small rocks, boulders, spikes, helmets, clouds, shields, capes, or even as a dusty covering of your aura. As you identify each piece of foreign energy, work your way through removing it. Simply imagine yourself pulling it off, brushing it away, throwing off the black cape, or tossing aside the small rock – imagine each piece falling to the ground. Continue this procedure until all of the foreign energy is removed

3. Cut Cords.

You are grounded, cleared of all foreign energy, now it’s time to cut your cords. Cords are energetic attachments to other individuals, places, or situations – anytime you think of or converse with someone or something, there is the potential that an energetic cord has attached to you in this single interaction. It is either drawing on your energy, sending you energy, or both. For the purposes of this exercise, we are not going to find out who the cords are attached to or what they are doing, we just going to remove any that exist, all at once. Sometimes, it’s really not important who it is, or what it’s doing, it just needs to go – and that’s what we’re going to do here. Any energy connection to any individual creates an exchange, and with this flow in continual motion, your ocean may never be still. Grounding, is a process of stilling the ocean within you. To do this, imagine your hand out in front of you, it is grabbing onto a bundle of ropes. Each rope is a cord that is attached to you, in some way or another. All the ropes could be connected to you as a spider web in all directly with many strings, or as a single bundle to one or two sources. Now, bundle them all up, and now, you are holding onto this rope bundle. Now, yank the bundle of ropes quickly and forcefully, removing all the ropes and their attachments from you, as though they’ve been plucked rapidly by tweezers. Now, you are holding a bundle of ropes, and on one end, your hand frees each end of the rope and their attachments to you, but they are still connected on the other side – to everyone, and everything else. Give your rope bundle another quick yank, detaching the ropes from everything else they’re connected to on the other side. In your hand now, is the rope bundle, and a pile of loose rope lies on the ground. Drop your rope bundle aside, and toss it to the ground. Done. Cords removed.

4. Call your Energy Back.

You’ve now detached yourself from all things to which you were corded, but, your energy may still exist in those places. It’s time to call it back. All the places to which you have invested a lot of your energy, past, present or future (think: worrying), your energy may exist there, outside of your body. In calling your energy back, you will be operating at full energetic capacity, and it will restore you with a sense of rejuvenation and motivation. To call your energy back, quickly, simply imagine all of the people, places, things, or relationships in which you feel you’ve been giving a lot of your energy – and ask it to come back to you. Imagine this energy leaving that place, and flowing back to you, as a golden stream of light, coming to rest in your core, your physical center, as an ever growing ball of golden light. Start the process by focusing on a single place, and continue moving from one place, to the next, until you feel that you have asked your energy to return to you from all of its pursuits outside of your physical body. There’s no right or wrong amount of time here, it’s up to you, and following your own intuition. By the nature of our existence, always interacting with other beings, there is nearly ALWAYS some of your energy existing out of your body, but the extent to which this is the case, depends really, only on how frequently you ask your energy to return to you. Allow yourself to be open to the places from which your energy returns. It can return from somewhere you never believed it to be, or even from very past events and scenarios, those which may cause you sadness or pain. For learn more and for more detailed instructions on how to do this, check out this article on energy retrieval.

5. Rejuvenate Your Aura.

By this point, you have removed foreign energies, cut cords, and called your energy back. All of your energy is now yours, and yours alone, but now – you must fill the holes left behind by the cords, or by the removal of foreign energy. It is not enough to stop now – your energy is filled with holes and you must seal them off, and in doing so, you are healing your aura, your energy. You are protecting yourself from further cording, or attachment of foreign energy. Once the holes are filled, it’s time to strengthen, reinforce, and boost your energy, infusing your energy with that of the Divine. This sounds wonderful. . . but are you sure I can do this? Yes! Everyone has the power to draw upon Divine Energy to heal themselves. Everyone. All you need, is the knowledge and the wherewithal to do it, which is what I’m teaching you now. The first step, is to imagine the skies above you opening, and from those skies, pours down a pink, golden light. This is a healing light, and as the light falls upon you, imagine it filling each, and every hole, and watch as the holes become filled. Imagine this pink, golden light, gliding over the surface of your body, smoothing, buffing, and patching over the holes. As if you are using a golden glowing spackle to blend plaster into the wall of your home. You are now applying this same practice to your energetic field, except instead you are using a plaster of light. Continue to draw down this Divine Light, and imagine it filling, smoothing, and polishing your energetic field until you feel the job is finished. Next, still with your grounding cord connected to the Earth, draw upon that Earth Energy once again. Only now, imagine it filling your physical body from below the earth with bright, white light. Internally, imagine the energy of the Earth, filling, and internally boosting, your energy – and continue to draw upon Earth Energy, until you are internally glowing, bright, white light. You have now, rejuvenated and restored your energy, internally. The final step, is to draw upon Divine Light once again, only this time, the color changes to a bright, golden yellow. And instead of filling holes, you will now imagine the Divine Light swirling all around you, as if you are Cinderella being transformed by the Fairy Godmother. As the Light swirls, it condenses, and piles on top of itself, creating a bright, golden bubble, swirling around your physical body. Continue drawing upon this Light, until this bubble of golden yellow light fills the room in which you sit. You are now protected, and surrounded by Divine Light. This now completes the meditation portion of this exercise. Before you stop, be sure to thank the Earth, for restoring your energy and receiving and cleansing all energies, cords, and ties that you have returned to it; thank the Divine Light, for healing and restoring your auric field; and finally, thank your Guides, for assisting you with this process (because they were).

6. Shift your Perception.

Your Energy is healed! You are filled with Divine Light and Earth Energy, and inherently, you are now radiating pure love, positivity, and high energy. In this moment – you have the choice. The choice to maintain this current state, or the choice to return to your previous state, the state that you just healed from. The decision is yours to make in this moment. Yes, you had a bad morning, a bad day, a bad week. You can choose to continue to focus on these circumstances, or to shift your perceptions, to change your outlook. Let’s say, for example, the woman at Dunkin Donuts drive thru forgot to make your latte a non-fat latte. That’s it! She ruined your diet. 80 calories, you’re totally screwed. And now it’s all you can think about – your messed up latte order. Consider the alternative: She’s at work, and in fact, she made it to work this morning at 4am in a snowstorm while her children were still sleeping. She’s just doing her best, to support her family. Mistakes happen, and hey – what does 80 calories matter in the long run anyway? Instead of sending hate, choose to send love and compassion instead. What about that crockpot you forgot to turn on? You’re beating yourself up for it, you failed to provide dinner for your family, and not only that, but you also just wasted $10 and no one has dinner. Hey! Snap out of it – you can choose to let it go! Shift your perception – who cares that dinner wasn’t ready when you came home?! Make some macaroni and cheese, and consider it a blessing – your freezer meal wasn’t going to be as comforting anyway. Choose now, to release yourself from this burden and allow yourself to have a more pleasant evening. You deserve a break! After you’ve completed your energetic exercises, give yourself a small pep talk, filled with positive affirmations and positive thoughts for the rest of the day, week, or month. You choose to embrace and exude love, positivity, and happiness. You choose to be a beacon of light now. You choose, to be grateful and appreciative. You choose to release, let go, and shift your perspective to one rooted in love, happiness, and gratitude. You are now an energy healer, a healer of yourself! With these tools, you can lift yourself up and power on, through your funk, and complete your day with a new, rejuvenated, and loving outlook.

Derrick Broze released a video this week entitled ‘Stop Paying Attention to Bilderberg, Claim your Power’.

The year was 2005, Luke Rudowski lead a march of nearly 1000 people though Manhattan chanting ‘9/11 was an inside job’ and ‘Who Knocked the Towers Down? Bush Knocked Down the Towers’.  We were sharing the message with the world, we were spreading the truth far and wide, we were educating the masses.Over the next 10 years there have been more false flag attacks, there have been some legitimate terrorist attacks and there has been constant and never ending war.  The mainstream media has started to cover what used to be the domain of Alex Jones and David Icke.  The Guardian writes stories about groups such as Bilderberg now.  The goal of those 1000 people, chanting and marching has been achieved.

The truth movement is mainstream, EVERYONE knows that there is a possibility that 9/11 was an inside job, whether they believe it or not, they know that it is a possibility.  EVERYONE knows that Bilderberg, the Trilateral Commission and Skull and Bones mold the leaders of the future.  Everyone saw ‘Don’t Taze me Bro’.  We all know the worlds elites are corrupt and some of them are absolutely mad.

So what?  What do we do?

When The Bundy Ranch standoff occurred there were many pundits making statements claiming that a rag tag group of constitutionalists cannot stand up to drone strikes and the might of the US Military.  The same is true of the masses vs the elite. We DO NOT stand a chance if we are fighting them on their terms.

The solution is not to point cameras in their face, the solution is not to pay thousands of dollars in traveling fees to follow them around like the Grateful Dead.  The solution is to become unbound by their rules and regulations.

If the elite make the masses eat GMO, grow our own food.  If the elite make the masses watch CNN and BBC, then you watch AMTV and TYT.  If the elite make you take out a loan to go to school, buy a car and own a home, then find an alternative solution.

The answer to your problems is not to point the finger at some mysterious bogeyman, the answer is to take control of your own life.  Make the change you want to see in the world today, share it with your friends and family, become a positive role model.  Forget the mass media, forget the elite control grid, forget general consensus, be your own person and create your own path in this world.

Take Your Power!

The Rightful Role of the Truth Warrior

by Zen Gardner

by Zen Gardner

It’s amazing how people have been backed into a corner by this barrage of social programming and outright intimidation. People actually feel apologetic about speaking the truth when it counters the politically correct entrained mass mindset of the world today.

Telling someone the truth is the most loving thing anyone can do. Of course it needs to be done wisely so as not to give a ready excuse for holding on to their illusion. That’s a clever mechanism that needs to be avoided. But there is also a time the truth hurts but still needs to be said. If it hurts, so be it. To withhold the truth from someone who is clearly in need of it is the most unloving and self serving thing any of us can do.

Let the chips fall where they may. Telling the truth is a fundamental form of love.

Taking Authority is Contrarian in a Spineless, Programmed World

I often think about this, the need for all of us who have awakened to take authority in our awareness and live in it fully and boldly. It’s totally contrary to everything we’ve been conditioned with. The collective mind is built on dependence and allegiance to imposed authority. This is nothing less than fear and submission programming.

From Pavlovian bells ringing between classes and fire and atom bomb drills as school children, to stop lights and sirens wailing in the streets and figures in uniforms, it’s all conditioning. Think about those strange costumes of authority figures we were entrained to “respect” – from religious garb and battle gear to dark suits and lab coats with “degrees” behind their names – these authorities were to be implicitly trusted as well as feared and obeyed.

The conditioning runs deep. And needs to be shirked.

The result of this programming which we can see all around us is a weak, limp and spineless humanity, willing to go along with whatever program comes next, with just enough free range within their confined space to give the illusion of freedom and autonomy. Very clever, very insidious and completely debilitating.

Entrapment, Intimidation and Assumptive Posturing

These are all mechanisms of subjugation. Devious baited traps of entangled low-level left brained arguments, all with assumptive conclusions. You’ll often hear “why can’t you consider both sides?” as if there’s some sort of neutral ground to a life threatening situation, all in an attempt to neutralize your conviction which is contrary to theirs.  Have “they” fully considered” both sides? Total hypocrisy.

This type of mind manipulation leads the unsuspecting subject into mental and social cages of seemingly logical yet conflicting conclusions, often accompanied by just plain bullying with the projected atmosphere of unquestionable authority. It’s a nasty response system to these mechanisms that’s been engrained into humanity, both the thinking and the unthinking. We’re dealing with a very deep spiritual source of disinformation that works on the unsuspecting, the overly programmed and those who are self justifying and self serving.

All are devious responses and affirmations of severely entropic forces – mental, spiritual and physical designs to break down our natural spiritual state. The need to see and wake up to these is absolutely imperative.

It happens in all walks of life. The mind weave of guilt tripping and subordination programming is admittedly slippery and surreal, but very very present. The effects are everywhere.

What we witness in these usurping rulers posturing themselves as authority figures is a perfect manifestation of this form of falsely based intimidation which trickles down through society right into interpersonal relationships. It’s taught and reinforced from birth because it’s unnatural and must be learned and is essential to the control system. It’s an imposed false paradigm born in lies and perpetrated by lies. It’s literally an illusion perpetrated by nothing but fabricated innuendo, continued reinforcement, and backed by brute force, the extension of which is their hierarchy of control supported by a mechanized policing military machine.

Again, this is a woefully misused mimic of the true power of loving empowerment, a false projection in this 3-D reality play we’re all playing a part in.

We are an intrinsic element of the true Authority and it’s time we took our rightful place.

Awaken and Take Authority

We need to be proactive and confidently assertive in our convictions. We cannot waver or bend to these influences, however complex, corrosive or intimidating they may be. Ours is to defy the lie, denounce the liars, expose the agenda, and march on in full confidence in the Truth and freedoms we’ve been endowed with. Forget national altruism and the futile law-riddled political and religious maze, ours is to stand as parts of the creative universal Source itself – autonomous, free thinking, creative and imaginative agents of love and positive change.

We have far greater and more powerful tools, even weapons, at our disposal than we realize. When thinking about this I was reminded of the light saber we saw popularized in the Star Wars films. My problem with that imagery is that the dark side has an equally powerful light weapon. That’s not true. Their sabers should have had a black beam. There’s power there, but only operable in dark places. It cannot stand up to the power of light and would easily be cut to shreds by the wand of Truth and Light.

We have such a weapon. If you’ve ever seen adepts use the power of chi to literally knock people backwards, as well as wonderfully heal, you’ve seen it in action. Sure, the interdimensionals have influences at their disposal we are now becoming familiar with, but they cannot affect those living in the full light of awakened truth.

What arouses this truth force within us is living it and not compromising or living apologetically on the defensive, riddled with doubt about our calling or capabilities.

There’s much to learn for all of us but this tremendous resource awaits our activation. And it has everything to do with taking and using the authority with which we’ve been endowed.

The Time to Decide is Now – Always Now

Either you’re on board or you’re not. Either you’re compromised and impotent and left languishing on the banks of the river of truth….or not, and in allowing the spontaneous process of creative activation.

The choice is ours. What we’re up against has been clearly spelled out to us in this massive awakening and sharing of empowering and enlightening information we’re experiencing. At that point either we utilize it, or we succumb. There’s no standing still in this current. We either stand strong and forge ahead upstream or get washed over the falls in the polluted river of lies.

It’s ours to decide. Empower and help change the course of now, or hide in shame, doubt and disgusting fear and self-serving self pity.

Personally, I have no pity for the liars and those who adamantly defend the lie and thereby exert this oppressive system on others. They are the problem. We and the truth we bear are the solution. We must treat those who’ve been subverted with love, but love takes many forms, and telling and living the Truth are intrinsic to it, come what may.

And take heart. The reign of the dark forces of the Kali Yuga (or age of vice) is over. What we’re witnessing is its death throes. The cycle is ending and this is our time to come forth, but it will be a challenge as we pass through the debris of ages past and its remnant psycho-spiritual effects on our planet.

Let’s help these dark minions on their way to oblivion in style. When we disconnect, disengage and do not comply but rather stand confidently and boldly in the truth we know and then move forward proactively, their fabrication of deceit will shred, shatter and fall to our feet.

My lightsaber’s turned on and burning furiously. How’s yours? It simply awaits activation.

It’s time to awaken the weapons of loving truth – and wield them with full authority.

Much love, Zen

Waking Up & Personal Power

So You’ve Woken Up…Now What?

by Zen Gardner

by Zen Gardner

Many people ask about this or something similar so here’s some thoughts on the subject. I don’t mean to tell anyone what to do, as that’s completely contrary to consciousness and conscious development, but I will share my understandings at this point and my passion for Truth and you can do what you like with it.

Question:
“What do you say to people who have woken up but can’t leave the system because of family and friends?”
This and those like it pose a very broad question since we’re all different and need to be led of our own convictions. However, the answer is fundamentally similar in every case.

Do what consciousness tells you.

There’s really no time for fiddling around once you’ve found what you know to be the Truth, which is always something clearly outside the realm of what you’ve been indoctrinated with. It’s always life altering. And if it isn’t, you didn’t hear correctly or it fell on deaf ears.

I don’t want to be counted amongst the deaf or unresponsive. Do you?

Especially when you found out that that’s exactly what perpetrates the big lie you found out about–a compliant, non-awake populace.

System Dependence is the Name of the Game

That’s the trouble with the “system”, it teaches dependency, hierarchy, and rote knowledge, where your choices are carefully narrowed down to “acceptable” alternatives within carefully confined parameters.

That’s why people feel like fish out of water when they wake up. They never learned how to truly think freely, nor did they have the knowledge tools. Instead, most everything was reversed, scrambled, confused and filed away in seeming useless obscurity.

The result is not just a marginalization of empowering Truths into the catch-all dustbins of “conspiracy theory” or wing nut stuff, but worse yet, the system does not cultivate original thought or true personal freedom or responsibility.

The real Truth is not an option in such a controlled environment. Oh, you get smatterings of truths, but drawing awake and aware conclusions is not an option to humanity’s would be Controllers.

The Wake Up Starts with a Bang – But You Have to Keep It Going

When someone awakens to the true nature of the manipulated world we live in, as well as the vast resources at our immediate conscious fingertips, it takes some doing to fully realize what that information means, as well as the vast implications on your personal life.

It can hit hard and may need some time to be digested.

How it affects each of us individually is really a question of simply putting what we’ve learned into action and trusting the Universe for the consequences.

I don’t think there’s time for much else. In fact, there never has been.

If you know the Truth, what are you waiting for?

While many are hoping for some kind of soft-pedaling of any kind of action call, it’s not a set formula. You just find out, and you react. And just that takes some doing, breaking off the rust of your True Self to animate and start to call the shots that were previously hindered by life long programming.

Stages of Development

For me the full wake up took on many stages of development, but the full blown realization of the vast extent of the manipulated lie and its fleshed out intricacies was a head splitting explosion that blew me past the pull of convention’s gravity so fast I’m still grinning from ear to ear as I zip through the universe..ha!

The point there being, the wake up takes on many forms and evolves. What gives the wake up traction is commitment, putting feet to your realizations.

You think TV’s bad? Turn it off. Banks are a rip off? Get out except for perhaps necessary operating funds if need be. Trapped by the ownership of housing, “might needs”, and all kinds of dumb stuff?

Dump everything you can, if that’s your understanding. Knowing “stuff owns you” is fundamental to consciousness. We all get there, but it depends on our enthusiasm…or “spirit in us”.

How many respond to just that?

Do What You Know or Face Confusion

Until people put into action what they already know, there isn’t gonna be much more to follow for them. Just a lot of flailing about in frustration because we don’t do what we already know we should do and are looking for excuses or compromised solutions to assuage our guilty conscience and hopefully preserve our personal status quo.

Sad, but true.

That also includes getting right with people, making relationships honest,  and disengaging from situations of compromise. It takes courage.

Know You Are Nobody–Yet Everybody

All this is a whole lot easier when you realize you are nobody. There’s nothing to defend.

Your old senses of self were the very strings the lying matrix played upon. Get conscious and the sirens of the system don’t affect you except peripherally.

That’s a biggie.

Conscious awareness is number one realizing and seeing through the higher level of awareness that is detached from this life’s experiences, and thus free to discern and identify without attachment what your life experience is.

Seeing through those eyes will bring tremendous peace and understanding.

the-universe-spatial-magical2

Get Along But Don’t Compromise

Don’t fret the next steps. The universe is so vast and full of infinite possibilities there’s something for everybody. Our job is to find it for ourselves and when we find it, act on it. No, it’s not the “safe” way, or the “accepted” way.

At all. We do have to break free.

In reality the parasitic system has been sucking you dry and lying to you and everyone you love. You now no longer owe it any allegiance and can and should disengage any and every way you can. No guilt trip necessary. You are doing what is right.

Period.

And that is not contingent on relationships, financial security, self image concerns, or what have you.

So get any and all attachments possible out of play. Happily. You are freeing yourself from the spider’s tentacles.

There’s Real Peace in Commitment

When you’ve resolved to go ahead and “make the break” with convention and stand up for what you know is right, it leads to a new lifestyle. How do you think these wonderful websites were formed of like-minded people who found each other and decided to make an impact with videos, interviews, articles, participation in events, etc?

How were Gandhi, Martin Luther King or other world truth bearers including the present day alternative luminaries birthed from their previous lives?

Something gelled, made total sense, resonated, and they just committed. These truth enthusiasts on the internet also somehow found each other and it clicked. It’s all about responding to the need and call and openly networking…true response-ability.

The Truth Glasses

I read this fantastic analogy and it’s never escaped me.

Finding out the whole truth is like putting on these amazing truth glasses, much like the movie “They Live”.

Here’s how they work:

#1. You gotta want to put them on.

#2. You can’t force someone else to put them on.

#3. Once they’re on, you can’t take them off.

If you’ve found and put on the glasses, that will make total sense. If you haven’t, keep searching.

Let your heart lead you.

Triggering, Mind Control, Personal Power & Responsibility

Syed Farook and the new world of emotional “triggers”

mindcontrol2By Jon Rappoport

Warning: this article is an emotional trigger about emotional triggers…

“Conceive of it this way. Far up in the sky you have people, individuals, who are inventing the fulfillment of their most profound desires, making them fact in the world, no matter what—and way down below, miles under the earth, you have other individuals who could be doing what the sky dwellers are, but they’ve bamboozled themselves into thinking they can’t. Instead, they think they’re trapped in every little response they might have to any old stimulus that comes along. Both groups of people are creative, but they’ve channeled their imaginations and creativity in vastly different ways. Waking up may be hard to do, but you either do or you don’t.” (Notes for Exit From The Matrix, Jon Rappoport)

Some brilliant media pundits are now suggesting that the accused San Bernardino shooter, Syed Farook, may have been “triggered” by the Xmas party at the building he later attacked.

You know, the existence of Xmas contributed to setting him off because his religious faith was of a different type. Xmas was a grave insult.

There will be people, believe it or not, who think this “analysis” has merit.

“Well, sure, I can see that. Given the nature of his faith, it’s understandable that he would have left the party in a disturbed state, gone home, put on military gear, picked up a few auto weapons, a ton of ammo, and pipe bombs, waited for his wife to do the same, and then, on the spur of the moment, returned to the building…he was triggered.”

“Triggered” is the new reality. It’s mainly for the young and naïve, especially those who are looking for a way to become known at colleges. “Wow, I can get a few minutes of attention if I say I was triggered. I’ll go for it. It’s easy. I don’t have to do anything. I don’t have to achieve anything. This is all about not achieving anything. It’s a perfect excuse. I’m paralyzed. And the reason is, let’s see, I wasn’t warned by my professor that he was going to discuss a subject that had triggers in it. Yeah, I like it.”

Apparently, there is no bottom for idiocy. You think you’ve seen the worst, but no.

Yesterday, I included this quote from a New Yorker article. It’s worth re-reading:

Individual [Harvard law] students often ask teachers not to include the law of rape on exams for fear that the material would cause them to perform less well. One teacher I know was recently asked by a student not to use the word “violate” in class—as in “Does this conduct violate the law?”—because the word was triggering. Some students have even suggested that rape law should not be taught because of its potential to cause distress. (Jeannie Suk, The New Yorker, 12/15/14)

There are several underlying principles at work here. One is: If you give people an out, an excuse for not doing anything, a way to become a victim, a significant number who aren’t genuinely disabled in any way will reach for it and grab it.

And they’ll invent a back-story full of grievances. And traumas. And whatever it takes.

This is a form of art. Theater. It may be bad art and bad theater, but there it is.

“I wish I could write a play, a novel. Mostly, I wish I could create the future I really want. But it doesn’t look like I can. So I’ll do something different. I’ll cast myself in a play that’s already gaining steam. I’ll take on the role of victim. I’ll be the person who is in danger of being triggered every time I get out of bed in the morning. If I put everything I have into that role, I might garner a few good reviews.”

There is a larger point here. The whole business of promoting “triggering” is a propaganda operation. Its goal is to convince people that they live in a stimulus-response world—and that means a locked-up world. Stimuli appear…and inevitable responses follow. Period. End of story.

Freedom? A myth. Individual choice? Impossible. The human being? Merely a biological machine programmed to deliver x, y, or z, depending on the external provocations of the moment.

Individual power? No such thing.

This is the Pavlovian wet dream.

Since the dawn of time, leaders and the men behind and above the leaders have tried to install stimulus-response as the only form of human activity, and for obvious reasons.

Stimulus-response is the essence of mind control.

The perversely clever thing about promoting “triggering” as a valid and universal concern is: you will get people to program themselves. They’ll reach out for, and invent, any excuse to pretend they’re being negatively stimulated—and they’ll demand protection, which in the long run amounts to a fantasy about “safe spaces” they can inhabit—vacuums where no adverse content can set off little emotional time-bombs.

Another underlying principle at work: never consider raising up people so they can express and fulfill their deepest desires; no, instead take everyone to the bottom, where the incurably injured live. That’s the goal.

And if you can’t see the consequences of that program, you need a stirring wake-up call.

The Individual is endlessly creative. If, for whatever reason, he decides and believes he can’t consciously express that power in a way that meshes with his deep desires, he’ll invent his reality in a different direction—and that is his problem, it’s not someone else’s. The proof of the pudding? No one else can invent his desired reality for him. It’s his job. And it’s also, if he would see it, his joy.

This is not a matter of what’s fair or unfair, just or unjust. It’s a matter of fact.

The individual has freedom and power. The range of these capacities is endless.

What I’m writing about here is in no way a prescription for allowing public corruption to flourish and then blaming the individual for the circumstances in which he finds himself. Quite the contrary. All those students who are currently programming themselves to be “triggered”? They could be creating an entirely different atmosphere at their colleges.

They could be investigating, for example, where all the grant monies come from. I’m talking about grants for research on highly toxic medical drugs. I’m talking about pharma influencing the content of science courses and medical training. I’m talking about government money for research on toxic pesticides and genetic meddling. I’m talking about money for research on “brain mapping,” which is really a prelude to efforts to re-program brains and thus control them. I’m talking about money for research on better methods of mass surveillance. And so forth and so on.

Create that drama. Create the drama of discovering the truth about what colleges are really doing, and expose it, and put the sold-out researchers in the glare of the spotlight for the right reasons.

Or, dilly dally about “triggering” and have that party instead.

There certain incontrovertible facts. They have nothing to with what already exists or what did exist or what will exist. They have to do with the individual and his power to imagine and create reality. He can fathom and access this power and consciously use it to achieve his own purposes, or he can subvert those purposes and instead invent himself into a dead-end, where the substance of his life appears to be entirely under the control of external forces, with no hope available.

Those are the immortal cards and that is the immortal hand dealt on the table. Play them as you will.
