There is no doubt the Earth is evolving spiritually. People are experiencing intense changes within their life, work, behaviors and personal relationships. Many are awakening at a rate that can only be described as phenomenal. So how do we know if we are awakening? Here are 25 common characteristics you may find in yourself and others.

Some of you may experience things not on this list and I encourage you to share your experiences in the comments below. We are all unique and many of us are experiencing phenomenon that are difficult to explain at this time. We are all learning from each other.

1. Being in public places is sometimes overwhelming. Since our walls between self and other are dissolving, we haven’t really learned to distinguish between someone else’s energy and our own. If the general mood of the crowd is herd-like or negative, we can feel this acutely, and may feel like retreating into our own private space. When we have recharged our batteries with meditation, spending time in nature, far away from other people, or just sitting in quiet contemplation, we are ready to be with the masses again. In personal relationships, we often will feel someone else’s emotions as our own. It is important to have this higher sense of empathy, but we must learn to allow another person’s emotions while observing them and keeping our empathy, but, realizing that not all emotions belong to us. Social influence can dampen our own innate wisdom.

2. We understand our current paradigm, more than we understand ourselves. We see the big picture and marvel and the duality of our world including why polarity consciousness has brought us to where it has today. We no longer see life choices and right or wrong, good or bad, just choices defined by the neutral frequencies that we later define. Unity consciousness is allowing us to spread the message of unity consciousness to all of humanity that will allow us to heal our division and change the misery of our human beings to abundance within a global community filled with love for each other and not fear of each other.

3. We know things without having to intellectually figure them out. Often called intuitive awareness, we have ‘a-ha’ moments and insights that can explain some of the most complex theories or phenomenon in the world. Some of the most brilliant minds of our time just ‘know.’ Adepts and sages often were given downloads of information from higher states of consciousness after meditating or being in the presence of a more conscious individual; this is happening for more people with more frequency. As we trust our intuition more often, it grows stronger. This is a time of ‘thinking’ with our hearts more than our heads. Our guts will no longer be ignored. Our dreams are becoming precognitive and eventually our conscious thoughts will be as well.

4. We acknowledge our imperfection and how beautiful it is to be an imperfect version of our true selves. We thrive on challenging only ourselves, and not through competition at the expense of another, especially since we have no need to judge those who are exactly where they need to be.

5. Watching television or most of main stream media, including newspapers and many Hollywood movies is very distasteful to us. The mindset that creates much, but not all, of the programming on television and in cinema is abhorrent. It commodifies people and promotes violence. It reduces our intelligence and numbs our natural empathetic response to someone in pain.

6. We no longer have a need to attach our love to material things, understanding that it only leads to misery because we are not learning to love ourselves and others. The mentality only leads to further acquisition of more things. Although things too are part of consciousness, they do not allow humans to accelerate the mass consciousness required to change the world. Only love for ourselves and others can do that. Love is knowing the deservability and worthiness of all. We are loved so unconditionally by Creation that we can even choose to believe that we are not loved.

7. Lying to us is nearly impossible. We may not know exactly what truth you are withholding, but we can also tell that something isn’t right. We also know when you have other emotions, pain, love, etc. that you aren’t expressing. You’re an open book to us. We aren’t trained in counter-intelligence, we are just observant and knowing. While we may pick up on physical cues, we can look into your eyes and know what you are feeling.

8. We may pick up symptoms of your cold, just like men who get morning sickness when their wives are pregnant. Sympathy pains, whether emotional or physical, are something we experience often. We tend to absorb emotion through the solar plexus, considered the place we ‘stomach emotion’ so as we learn to strengthen this chakra center, we may sometimes develop digestive issues. Grounding to the earth can help to re-establish our emotional center. Walking barefoot is a great way to re-ground.

9. We tend to root for the underdog, those without voices, those who have been beaten down by the matrix, etc. We are very compassionate people, and these marginalized individuals often need more love. People can sense our loving hearts, so complete strangers will often tell us their life stories or approach us with their problems. While we don’t want to be a dumping ground for everyone’s issues, we are also a good ear for those working through their stuff.

10. We don’t feel the need to awaken every person we see. Within a few sentences we can interpret their level of comfort in discussions relating to consciousness. When necessary, we plant a seed and if it’s meant to grow it will. We understand that attempting to awaken those who are not ready is toxic to their sensibilities.

11. If we don’t learn how to set proper boundaries, we can get tired easily from taking on other people’s emotions. Energy Vampires are drawn to us like flies to paper, so we need to be extra vigilant in protecting ourselves at times.

12. We are all becoming healers. We naturally gravitate toward healing fields, acupuncture, reiki, Qi-Gong, yoga, massage, midwifery, etc. are fields we often find ourselves in. We know that the collective needs to be healed, and so we try our best to offer healing in whatever form we are most drawn to. We also turn away from the ‘traditional’ forms of healing ourselves. Preferring natural foods, herbs, and holistic medicine as ways to cure every ailment.

13. We see the possibilities before others do. Just like when the church told Copernicus he was wrong, and he stood by his heliocentric theory, we know what the masses refuse to believe. Our minds are light-years ahead.

14. We are creative. We sing, dance, paint, invent, or write. We have amazing imaginations.

15. We fully accept that we can only attract what is within our vibrational field. There are no experiences that we can obtain in physical form without attracting them from a vibrational perspective. That includes the most horrific experiences and the most beautiful ones. What we are learning to do is accept relationships and experiences for what they are. People and experiences are serving as reflections to teach us something about ourselves.

16. We don’t question what love is, why it is or how it presents itself. We know it is everywhere, in everyone and everything, all permeating and infinite.

17. We require more solitude than the average person.

18. We might get bored easily, but we are really good at entertaining ourselves.

19. We have a difficult time doing things we don’t want to do or don’t really enjoy. We really do believe life was meant to be an expression of joy. Why waste it doing something you hate? We aren’t lazy, we are discerning.

20. We are obsessed with bringing the truth to light.

21. We don’t live in fear of anything. Any and all changes coming, no matter how much they are perceived as negative or dramatic on our Earth, are being designed by us. We have passed the point of no return and the Earth is ascending to a higher state of consciousness. Nothing will stop it now.

22. We can’t keep track of time. Our imaginations often get away with us and a day can feel like a minute, a week, a day.

23. We abhor routine.

24. We often disagree with authority (for obvious reasons). Some people call it “anarchy” without a true understanding of what that word or our governments really are.

25. We will often be kind, but if you are egotistical or rude, we won’t spend much time with you or find an excuse to not hang out with people who are obsessed with themselves. We don’t ‘get’ people who are insensitive to other people’s feelings or points of view.

Sound & Healing

Nine Insights Into Sound Healing
by Jonathan Goldman

Sound and music have been used since ancient times for healing and transformation. Yet there is today a growing re-emergence of interest in this field of sound healing with many different thoughts and ideas about the effects of sonics and their use as a transformative energy. Many of the major questions about sound healing are still unanswered. The following thoughts are just my own and may not be based upon the reality of anyone else. They may, however, prove to be useful insights and considerations for others.

One: We are all unique vibratory beings.

To begin, we address the concept that the basic principle of sound healing is that everything is in a state of vibration, including our organs, bones, tissues, etc. If these parts of the body become imbalanced they may be healed through projecting the proper and correct frequencies back into the body. This works for imbalances and over-or-underactivity in the chakras and the energy fields.

I believe that this concept is correct. I merely question whether the various frequencies that have been tabulated by numerous scientists and sound healers as being the frequency for the liver, for example, or the root chakra, are correct. My reason for questioning this information is that first, usually none of these frequencies that have been tabulated agree with one another. The second is, do you really believe that you have the same vibratory rate as anyone else?

When I first began this work nearly fifteen years ago, I was involved in a project researching and investigating the effects of tone upon the chakras. I found dozens of different systems that used different sounds to achieve the same result. How could this be? I wondered. Later on, I came across the works of different scientists who used different frequencies to achieve the same result (and, I might add, with apparent success.)

This led me to create the formula:

Frequency + Intent = Healing

The only commonality in many of these different systems was that the practitioner had the intent of vibrating or balancing a particular area or field with sound. However, this formula also stemmed from my own work with students, healers, and healees. It seemed that the more experience I had teaching and showing how to use sound as a transformative modality, the more validation I received that no one and nothing were the same. Which led to my believe that we are all unique vibratory beings, in a constant state of fluidity and flow.

On a cellular level, there may be generic tones for specific organs. However, we may be lacking certain information regarding the proper understanding of this. Along with a frequency for the structure of the organ, there may also be a modulated frequency which is the pulse of the organ (how the organ interacts with the various energy which passes through it–is it slow or fast? etc.) The brain, for example, pulses at different frequencies (alpha, beta, delta, theta,) but these are not the frequencies of the tissues of the brain. There may be at least two very different types of sonics which influence and affect any organ.

To make the assumption that we are all at the same level of physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual development, (and therefore that our chakras all behave the same and resonate to the same frequencies,) is rather simplistic. In Tibet, it seems that different chakras receive different mantras as sounds to resonate them, depending upon the level of development of the student. An “Ah” sound, for example, might work for the throat chakra at one level of development, while it might work for the heart chakra at another level.

Years ago, a student of mine found a system for working with sound and the chakras which used the note “C” for the root chakra and went up the chakras diatonically (“C,” “D,” “E,” “F,” etc.) so that the seventh or crown chakra vibrated to “B.” In principle, it was a very neat system, though it did not strike me as being correct for several reasons: First, it seemed that low frequencies affected my root chakra while high frequencies affected my crown. If the diatonic scale system were true, then that would mean that a low “B” would affect my crown chakra while a very high “C: would affect my root chakra, which did not seem to be the case. Also, is that note “C” resonating the root chakra before or after coffee? Early in the morning or late at night? Before or after meditation? It well may be that these activities and ingestions affect the frequency rate, not only of our physical body, but also of the chakras and the etheric fields.

So, to the question, “Do I believe we all resonate to the same frequency?” I answer, “No! I do not.” I believe we are all unique and different vibratory beings with different frequencies for our bodies, brain, and energy centers. And these frequencies can change.

Two: Because of the uniqueness of the human vibratory rate and the uniqueness of our response to music, it is difficult to accurately test the effects of music upon the human body and energy fields.

One of the most effective measurements for testing the effects of music upon the body is kinesiology, a method of muscle testing. While highly trained practitioners of kinesiology can sometimes determine profound insights, kinesiology is a very difficult and specific tool if the practitioner is not skilled or clear about its purpose. It is necessary that the persons doing the testing be well trained in the various subtleties of kinesiology, and that they be extremely clear, with nothing to prove when doing the testing. Thus, one sometimes questions the results of kinesiological testings, particularly involving music, if the person doing the testing has anything to prove.

Here is one final thought on using kinesiology to check for the positive or negative effects of music. Given that if a practitioner checks a patient while the music is on, both parties will be influenced by the music and the results are not balanced nor accurate. However, if one of the persons wears headphones while listening to the music, it is speculated that headphones actually add their own influence into the kinesiological testing and change the results. The ultimate answer would be to use a machine that used the same amount of pressure each time. However, while such a machine does exist, it is not commonly found nor used.

Three: The energy inherent on recordings may be as important as the sound reproduction of the recording.

As we move more and more into audiophile consciousness, with the advent of high-tech recording and playback equipment, a certain bias is developing which insists that for recorded music to be beneficial, it must be well recorded, without any distortion. There is an aspect of truth in this. “Clean,” clear music, without distortion, etc., is very nice to our ears. It’s great in fact, and I prefer it to poorly recorded sounds. But let’s fact it, clean music isn’t necessarily therapeutic. If one believes that there is an energy form (we’ll call it “intent” for this purpose) outside the actual frequency range of the music, then something else is also going on when we listen to music.

Have you ever heard a poorly recorded “bootleg” of a fabulous concert that absolutely sent you soaring when you heard it, then when you heard the same song released on the album that was clean and clear, it did nothing for you? I have. I have a number of recordings of chanting from various spiritual masters on which the fidelity is questionable. But the energy inherent in these recordings is marvelous and somehow the healing or transformative energies are still transmitted through the sounds.

If someone is so biased that they cannot bypass the audio fidelity of a recording, I have no doubt that these people will not allow themselves to access the energy inherent on poorly recorded cassettes and discs. This may be a problem unique unto the individual and not inherent in the actual recording.

Let us not bias others with our own biases. It certainly qualifies and quantifies what’s good and bad for us.

Four: No one recorded sound medium is better than another.

This brings us to the insight of whether analog recordings (cassettes and record albums) are more beneficial than digital recordings (or vice versa.) The sonic jury is still out on this. No one knows. No doubt, both analog and digital are very different and, no doubt, they both can have positive results.

When kinesiology was first used as a method of testing the effects of music, it really seemed that digital was not beneficial. At the time, this may have been true. The early digital recordings sounded different: they were clear, but cold. Some people would develop headaches while listening to them. Still later, as digital continued to develop, I found people who believed that digital recording created sounds that were not beneficial to the cells of the body or auric field. There may be truth to this. It is difficult to accurately test the effects of music.

More recently, a friend of mine who is a fine musical magician suggested that I was anti-digital because I was afraid of new technology. “Once you stop being afraid, you’ll be able to work with digital and synthesized sampled sounds as a sonic form that can be worked with (and influenced) like any other sound.” His words rang true. “Besides,” he added, “digital is working with quartz based technologies and you know how you love to work with quartz crystals.”

I listened to my friends advice and began to incorporate some digital and synthesized sampling technologies in my work. For example, during the recording of Angel of Sound, I utilized both analog and digital studio techniques. In addition, during the recording, I consciously asked Shamael, the Angel of Sacred Sound, to come into the recording (regardless of whether it was analog or digital.) From all reports, the Angel is there.

One last thing: Some purists tend to think of analog as being a purer sound than digital. More real. Conceptually, this is true, until you add all the other elements of recording and playback to this. When you take an analog recording such as a cassette and play it back through a transistorized system (which most of us have,) that analog signal is significantly changed. The sounds that come out of the systems are no more “real” than anything else. Prerecorded music is in some way altered and changed from what it originally was. Therefore no one recorded sound medium is really better than another.

Five: All tunings from different instrument have healing potential.

Many people believe that only harmonically related tunings are healing. Without getting too technical, let me say that the tunings of keyboards are, for the most part, tempered tunings. This means that the natural harmonically related intervals and ratios of different notes, when played together, are changed and different. On a piano, the ratios are logarithmically related, not harmonically, They don’t possess the naturally occurring ratios that are a part of the harmonic series. Blame it on Bach, if you like, since he pioneered equal tempered music. It did change the intervals on the keyboard, but it also allowed players to be able to change keys without hitting “bad” notes.

There are those who feel that only music which has harmonically related intervals created either by the voice or by instruments that are not equal tempered have therapeutic value. As the author of a book which focuses on harmonics I understand this belief, though it doesn’t resonate with me as being true. Too many people have received healings, experienced transformations, and generally had wonderful times listening to music that was created by instruments such as the piano which uses equal temperaments. One cannot denegrate these healing experiences by proclaiming that tunings must be harmonically related to be healing.

Six: Both intent and frequency create the transformation experience.

In my book Healing Sounds and in the workshops which I teach, I focus a lot of energy and thought on the importance of intention: the energy behind the sound. I point out how important intention is in the healing process. Never, however would I say that intention is the only thing. Remember,

Frequency + Intent = Healing.

It’s not just one or the other. As the saying goes: “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” As another writer pointed out, the path between conception and execution can be quite distant. If, for example, I want to calm someone and I shout in their ear, my intent may be one thing, but the actual sound I make may be quite another thing and create quite a different effect.

Intentionality is extremely important and something that needs to be worked on consciously and consistently by sound healing practitioners. Frequency is equally important and not to be ignored. We need to be aware of the psychophysiology of sound, how we use sound, and how sounds affects us. We are vibratory beings and different sounds will resonate and influence us, unless we get to a level of attunement practiced by certain masters.

Perhaps it is regarding this ideal level of mastery and attunement where most people get confused. Few of us have achieved this vibratory level or the clearness of intent inherent in it. Usually, we are working at a level where we still need to clear ourselves when we’re working with projecting intention. Just having a desire to be clear doesn’t mean we’re there yet. Probably when one has reached a mastership of clarity, where one can truly project divine intention–the difference between “Thy will” and “My will”)–one can make any sound and have a desired effect. However, this is not often the case.

It’s important, as we go through our spiritual evolutionary process when working with sound, to become aware of the effects of the sounds that we are projecting, as well as our proposed intentionality. It is the only way.

Seven: Sound is subtle.

We still live in the old paradigm of “more is better,” and particularly, louder and longer is better. However, when working with sound, the volume, duration of frequency, and the effect of the sound are not necessarily interrelated.
We all know about how loud volumes can cause hearing loss. Also, in terms of physiological response, loud sounds do have specific and not particularly therapeutic effects. They trigger the fight or flight response, release adrenaline, raise heart beat, respiration, and brain wave activity, and may interfere with immunological functions.

There are therapists, for example, who use music played at very high volumes to elicit certain responses. This is valid, but we must remember that this is a specific use of music for a specific purpose.

It may be that when working with sound, loud volumes actually have less ability to make those changes down at a molecular level than do soft, gentle sound. Very loud sounds may be too overpowering to achieve a desired and long lasting effect, merely passing through the body without creating change. So louder is not better and neither is longer necessarily better.

While we may still have a “more is better” consciousness, this is not necessarily true in terms of sound. A frequency, or tone, may be effective when listened to or chanted for a brief period, but the effects may nullify or even become adverse over too long a period of time.

There may be a minimum amount of sound duration that is necessary to make changes in the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual body. Some sound healing practitioners say that five minutes is needed for a tone to really make change. Others say ten and others, twenty minutes. There are some sound practitioners who have people sound or listen to music for many hours. Since we are all unique vibratory beings, I believe it differs from individual to individual. I certainly have observed extraordinary changes in individuals who have received sound for only a couple of minutes or less.

With the various sonic equipment and recordings that are now available which create specific sounds, there may be people who will be sounding or listening to a particular frequency all day long. Depending upon the individual and their needs, this may be fine, or it may not be healthful. More is not necessarily better and with sound, too much can possibly be debilitating to the nervous system or other systems of the physical and etheric bodies. Balance is an extraordinarily important aspect of any transformative or healing work and principles of balance should be applied to sound.

Eight: Sound and light/color are different forms of energy.

This thought may be quite controversial for some who believe light and sound are the same. No one really knows. My belief is that sound and light are related, but they are not the same. One way to look at this relationship is through the harmonic series. Harmonics are the notes created from a fundamental tone which display universal principles of whole number ratios. A note vibrating at 100 cycles per second will affect any note that is a harmonic of this. This means a note vibrating twice as fast at 200 cycles per second, a note vibrating three times as fast at 300 cycles per second, and so on. This is the sonic equivalent of the ancient Hermetic Principle: “As above, so below.”

We can therefore conceptually take that 100 cycles per second note, and say it is harmonically related to a note 1 million cycles per second. However, this does not mean it is the same note nor will it necessarily have the same effect.

What has happened with the sound-as-light phenomenon is that mathematical scientists have either taken the frequency of a note and then doubled it forty times, until this frequency is within the same range as a particular color of light, or taken the frequency of a color and halved it forty times until this frequency is within the same range as a sound. Then these scientists have said, “This is that.” It may be, but no one has actually turned a sound into light.

Different colors have been assigned to different notes, with devices like light organs, but it’s still all theoretical. No one has been able to take one sound frequency and jump it up forty octaves, without relying on putting it into different instruments or computers which, of course, change the natural process of a sound wave.

It may be that as a frequency enters a different energy state (sound would have to turn into many different types of energy such as heat before it became light,) the frequency goes through a conversion process and the mathematics are very different. As energy is transduced, the math may become much more complicated than we know. The simple doubling process may not be relevant.

My thoughts are that sound and light are complementary energy forms, but not necessarily the same. Assigning specific colors to specific tones may be an oversimplification of a process we do not yet understand. It may be that we can encode any color upon any frequency. This is another idea that I wanted to share with you, as long as we’re on the subject. No one really knows the answers to this insight at this time.

Nine: All music potentially has therapeutic qualities.

Many people believe that only New Age Music is healing, or whatever type of music you want to substitute for “New Age.” This gets into the same conundrum I experienced many years ago when I first began this sojourn into sound. Everybody wanted me to talk about how rock’n’roll was the devil’s music and bad. I wouldn’t. It is my belief that any music, depending upon the time, the place, and the need of the individual can have therapeutic effects. It is not that any music will have therapeutic effects, but that it can, if it is correct for the individual.
Knowledge of the psycho-acoustic effects of sound is helpful here. Certain sounds will often create similar physiological responses in many people. Slow pulsed music, for example, will have a tendency to slow down our heart rate, respiration, and brain waves. Often, fast music will have the opposite effect. If it’s three o’clock in the morning, I’m tired and driving home from a party, and I put on a piece of deeply relaxing music, what happens? I become even drowsier and such music would probably be extremely hazardous to my driving. However, if I were to play some loud, up-tempo music, most likely it would stimulate me, keep me awake, and under those conditions be quite therapeutic. This is not the same situation if it’s three in the morning and I’m trying to find music to help me sleep. Very different responses required. Very different types of music are needed.
Knowing how you want to use music is extremely important, as is understanding the potential psychological and physiological effects that are inherent in the music. Slow pulsed New Age music is excellent, of course, for relaxation but it’s not ideal for dancing. Yet, if dancing (and the extraordinary energy release found by dancing) is desired, slow New Age music is not ideal. What is your purpose for using a specific piece of music? Is it for meditation, guided imagery, dance, deep recollection, or for emotional release?
Realizing that every type of music has the ability to resonate with us on many different levels, it is possible that any type of music can have positive results. We should be open-minded about all music and the possible transformative and therapeutic results that can occur from it.

One of the best ways of working with music is to create a musical prescription for yourself. Find out what types of music you respond to best. What specific music makes you feel joyful? What music makes you feel sad? Write down the different music that elicits different responses and use this music when you want to create a feeling or a mood. No one piece of music will affect everyone the same way, especially when it comes to our emotional responses to music. You can not expect someone else to have the same experiences as you do with any music. However, frequently, with our own experiences, if we have had a specific emotional response to listening to particular music, we will have a similar response when listening to that music again.

When working with others, you must find out what music works best for them in order to help create their musical prescription. It may be possible that a person is blocked from enjoying certain types of music because the sounds resonate imbalances within them. For example, one time a student could not listen to very low sounds, particularly those produced by chanting Tibetan monks. This was a response to a blockage in the lower chakras. Once this person was able to acknowledge the situation and open to the resonances created by the deep sounds, the blockages disappeared and they were able to release the imbalances. It was quite a transformational experience. This story illustrates how it is possible to find music that we really dislike, which can actually be useful in helping us to encounter and heal imbalanced aspects of ourself.

My final suggestion is to allow the potentiality of healing to occur in every piece of music. Music can reach into aspects of our psyche that we may not have a clue even exist. There are people working solely with classical music, or “sacred” music, or New Age music. The reality is that all forms of music, from rock, to country, to jazz, to all the world musics that are now available to us, may have the potential of reaching further into our bodies, minds, and souls to initiate healing and transformation. Be open to all possibilities. You can never know what may transpire until you have tried.

Your Color VIbe for Saturday, 7/04

Saturday, July 4:   Sapphire Blue

There are going to be a lot of shiny items out there today, so it is a good idea to have on your glare proof glasses so you can see what is truly valuable and what is merely show. This will be true in all areas – whether in public, at a party, in your meditation, in conversation, etc. The bottom line to all of this is to trust your intuition. It is time to know what is truly being said to you through your connection with the Universe. It is easy to become confused and think that that voice in your head is just your own judgment making a decision as to how things are. However, if you can stay grounded and centered in the true knowing of your core self, you will be able to discriminate what is truly coming from your innermost being and what is merely the result of conditioning. This can be an easy day or a difficult day, but through it all, remember to breathe

Wave Genetics & Health

Wave Genetics: Increase Energy and Regrow Tissues, Organs, Bones, and Teeth

by PL Chang
Wave genetics is the process of using resonant waves and certain electromagnetic waves to affect the genes in DNA. Russian scientists have been experimenting with wave genetics for more than 80 years. Their research has shown that wave genetics has the potential to heal any illness and dramatically extend the lifespan of certain organisms, including human beings.

The Healing Potential of Wave Genetics
Wave genetics is not well-known in the West because most Western scientists think that it is based on pseudoscience. It is unfortunate that most Western scientists feel this way, because wave genetics is important for taking genetic engineering to the next level. With better knowledge and technology, scientists could one day be able to use wave genetics to make GMO healthy to eat, cure “incurable” diseases, and regrow tissues and lost body parts.
As described at WaveGenetic.ru.
At present we are able to program/manage/encode stem cells of various types by means of a quantum bio-computer. The quantum bio-computer initiates wave/field-based commands, given to cells and tissues of the donor/recipient, and accordingly the stem cells exposed to the waves/field will be prompted to guided cytodifferentiation leading to emergence and development of planned/projected new organs and tissues. This will bring us closer to the fact of substantially increased life expectancy.
Significant achievements in applying WaveGenetics have been made thus far in regeneration of pancreas in rats previously destroyed by chemical substance called alloxan.
Three series of experiments with identical protocol were conducted by the groups of P. Gariaev in 2000 in Moscow Russia, in 2001 in Toronto, Canada, and in 2005 in Nizhni Novgorod, Russia. These are more advanced experiments based on the principles and technology of WaveGenetics.
How Wave Genetics Can Cure Diseases and Regrow Tissues and Lost Body Parts
Wave genetics has the ability to stimulate certain parts of DNA and even change them. This is possible because DNA has electromagnetic properties and therefore when the right electromagnetic waves flow through DNA, they can affect the electromagnetic properties of DNA.
DNA is not only made of nucleotides, sugars, phosphate, and amino acids. It is also made of biophotons. According to some Russian scientists, the helical structure of DNA allows biophotons to spiral in a coherent manner. This process acts as an electromagnetic communication system that is found in every cells of our bodies.
One of the ways that wave genetics can be used to heal genes is by beaming a laser with epigenetic information toward a specific area of the body. This process can transfer the epigenetic information into the DNA of cells and change its gene expression. By changing the gene expression of cells, it can stimulate cells to regenerate organs and bones, and slow the aging process.
Since the emergence of epigenomics and wave genetics, they have already revolutionized the health industry. With the right technology, epigenomics and wave genetics will revolutionize the health industry by giving us the tools to cure every disease known to mankind. For more information on epigenomics and DNA, read this empowering article titled Epigenomics and How Natural Nutrients Heal Genes.
Why Understanding How DNA Works is the Key to Longevity and More Energy
DNA contains the codes of life. When these codes are changed through unhealthy diets, emotional problems, and other means, they can affect our bodies in negative ways, which in turn could lead to premature aging and a lack of energy.
The codes of DNA are not your normal computer codes, because they are “living” codes that have the ability to communicate at a level that allows them to “think” to a certain point.
As mentioned at AwakeAndEmpoweredExpo.com.
In order to better understand Gariaev’s work, he (and others) insist that we acknowledge that the 1962 Nobel Prize winners James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins missed some key points that caused the field of DNA and genetic research to be built on an incomplete foundation from the start. He states, “We must first alter our entire understanding of genetics and move to a different understanding of the genetic code.” Gariaev goes on to state a fundamental fact that, “DNA is like written, readable text”. This genetic structure has an individual’s consciousness and thinking contained within. Put bluntly, Gariaev says, “It can think on its own”. Genetic information exists everywhere internally and externally. It can be found in physical fields, electromagnetic fields and torsion fields. However, Gariaev points out that “the way we transmit information in our body is through the electromagnetic and torsions fields.”
Once you know how DNA works at the level described by Gariaev, you will know that there is a spiritual side to DNA. Because of this, scientists will never know how DNA really works until they learn to combine science and spirituality as one.

Sound & Healing

How can sound, in whatever manifestation, assist in healing and human transformation?
by Jonathan Goldman
This is an extraordinarily vast question, because sound has almost unlimited abilities to assist in healing and human transformation. Sound can affect us on the physical, the emotional, the mental and the spiritual.

On the physical, sound has the ability to rearrange molecular structure. This is a scientific fact. As we know, everything in the universe is in a state of vibration, from the chair you may be sitting in to the pages of this magazine. All the various parts of our body are also in a state of vibration, from the various organs, tissues, bones, etc. When we are in a state of health, all these bodily parts are working together in harmony, creating an overall harmonic of health. If one of these parts begins to vibrate at a different rate, this is what we call disease. One of the basic concepts of healing with sound on the physical body is to project the correct resonant frequency of the organ, or whatever is out of balance, back into the body.

On the emotional and mental bodies, music is very effective. In particular, music affects the limbic system, that aspect of the brain which governs emotional response. Through using specific music (specific for the individual), we can help elicit certain emotional responses that may be very therapeutic and transformative in their nature.
For the spiritual body, both sound and music can be equally effective. In particular, I believe that self-created sounds such as mantras, vowel sounds and harmonics are most powerful, though of course, listening to either recorded or live music or chanting can also be very effective.

Naturally, since we now know of the inter-relationship between the mind and the body, that which affects the emotional or mental will also effect the physical and vice-versa. This includes the spiritual body as well, of course.

2. CAN YOU GIVE US SOME EXAMPLES?

For working with the physical body, we are dealing with the concept of resonant frequency healing–that is, projecting the correct resonant frequency of an imbalanced area back into the body–in order to affect a healing. This can be done through various external instruments or it can be done using what I consider to be the most natural and effective tool on the planet–our own voices. There are a number of different people who are working with different electronic or acoustic technologies to achieve this.
I have been researching this area of sound healing for quite a while and one of the interesting paradoxes is that the different people working with finding the correct resonant frequency of, say the heart or the liver, will all seemingly have great success with their frequencies. And yet, these frequencies will all differ.

When I first encountered this paradox, I was mystified. I couldn’t understand it. This also seemed to hold true for the frequencies for the different chakras, as well as mantras for different chakras. Then, I came up with this formula, which is stated in my book HEALING SOUNDS. It is this: FREQUENCY + INTENT = HEALING. What this means is that the energy that occurs when a sound is created (the “intent”) is of equal importance to the actual sound (the “frequency”) that is used. Intent is the energy behind the sound and it is something that should be considered whenever we make a sound, particularly a sound for healing or transformation.

In my Healing Sounds Seminars, I teach students how to learn to resonate their physical body and their chakras with their own self-created sounds. This is fairly simple to learn to do and very powerful. Exercises for how to do this are found in my book HEALING SOUNDS and in the “Healing Sounds” Instructional tape. What is most interesting, is that these sounds may change from day to day, particularly the sounds for the chakras. I teach a method working for with the vowel sounds to resonate the chakras which is very effective. Often, my students will verify that while the vowel sounds seem to stay the same, the pitches for these vowel sounds will change, depending upon what state or condition they are in.

I also teach how to create and use harmonics, which are sounds within sounds, in order to resonate the brain. It is my belief that we will find out in the very near future, that self-created sounds may be the only way we can actually stimulate different parts of the brain through mechanical resonance. Now, there are various technologies that are being offered in which sound travels through the ear into the brain in order to affect the brain. But this is a different phenomenon–what I’m talking about is a direct resonance of the brain using our own sounds. I believe it is possible to make new neural-synaptic connections in the brain with sound. And that it is possible to stimulate the various glands such as the pituitary and pineal with these sounds.

I’d like to suggest that the brain may be just a transmitter and receiver of different frequencies. The brain may be thought of as a kind of radio that can be tuned to different signals. If we can learn to tune the brain to different frequencies using sound, we can open up to many different aspects of consciousness and energy.

As I mentioned before, music seems to work best on the emotional and mental. However, music does also affect us physically. An quick example of this is that our heart beat, respiration and brain waves all entrain, or synchronize with different rhythms. Slow music tends to slow down our heart rate respiration and brain waves. Fast music has the opposite effect, tending to speed us up.

This little bit of information can be very effectively used by your readers, who no doubt intuitively understand this but may have never given it much conscious thought. If you want to speed up your heart rate, respiration and brain waves for activities such as movement or even staying awake, then fast paced music is your best bet. But if you want to relax, usually, it’s the slower music that works best. One of my recordings, “Dolphin Dreams” was created initially for the birthing process and features the sounds of ocean, heart beat, choral voices and dolphins. It contains a lot of frequencies designed to help slow down our body and brain rhythms is also ideal for relaxation and sleep. I wouldn’t personally use it if I were jogging or doing some sort of activity that required stimulation. I know of one very famous artist who uses it for painting and others who use it for enhanced creativity. But this is different than physical stimulation.

On an emotional level, we all have different tastes in music. I think there is about a 60% agreement in the way people respond to different music’s. Everyone is different and has different tastes. One piece of music may bring a person to states of euphoria while the same piece of music might depress someone else. So in terms of music affecting our emotional states, it really depends on what we like and don’t like. If we could take a sort of musical Rx for ourselves and write down what particular pieces of music created specific emotional states for ourselves, we could use these different pieces of music to help elicit different emotional states. If we were depressed and knew of a certain musical selection that made us feel joyous, playing that music would be helpful in changing our emotional state. Obviously, then, depending upon the time, place and need of the individual, what music works best to elicit different emotional and mental states depends upon the person.

In terms of affecting our spiritual states, I have seen incredible experiences occur with my students through working with specific mantras, as well as working with vowel sounds and harmonics. In my book HEALING SOUNDS, there is another formula which I would like to share. It is this: VOCALIZATION + VISUALIZATION = MANIFESTATION. This formula seems to be found in the spiritual sound work of most of the great mystical traditions of the world. One chants a mantra, for example, “Om Mani Padme Hum”, an ancient Tibetan Mantra, while visualizing becoming the Buddha of Divine Compassion, for whom this mantra is specifically designed. In my workshops, after chanting this mantra for twenty-five minutes, you can actually feel the presence of this Buddha. People have mystical visions and many other extraordinary and transformative experiences. Chanting in group creates a group consciousness that is synergistic, with the whole being greater then the sum of the parts. It is amazing!

Listening to certain types of music can also help elicit these spiritual states, though perhaps not as effectively as actually chanting in a group which has a focused intention. My latest recording “Song of Saraswati” is an extended chant to Saraswati, the Hindu and Tibetan Mother Goddess of Music and Science. Many people are able to achieve not only deep relaxation when listening to this recording, but to travel on the sound and achieve higher levels of consciousness. I give thanks.

It is my belief that we are all unique vibratory beings and because of this, one sound or one type of music will effect one person in one way and effect another person in a very different way. So that if we can begin to become aware of the effects of music, and in particular, our own self-created sounds, we can really begin to use sound and music to affect us on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

I believe that not only are we unique vibratory beings, I believe that we can learn to shift our frequencies–that is to change our vibratory level. I think that really, this is the key to healing and transformation–being able to shift frequencies. We are living in extraordinary times. There are frequency shifts occurring on both personal and planetary levels. We can learn to use our own sounds to consciously affect our own vibratory patterns and align with these energies for health and transformation.

3. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE BREAKTHROUGHS IN SOUND TECHNOLOGY?

Edgar Cayce, the “Sleeping Prophet”, predicted that sound would be the medicine of the future. And the future is now. There are many amazing tools now being developed and appearing in the marketplace which use sound to affect our brain waves, our physical body–all sorts of different things. There are so many different instruments beginning to appear that I am hesitant to start naming them. Perhaps it would be best just to credit a few of the early pioneers such as Dr. Peter Guy Manners, M.D., who invented the “Cymatic Instrument”, which uses direct application of specifically tabulated sound frequencies on the body for healing, Robert Monroe, whose “Hemi-Sync” showed that it was possible to synchronize the left and right hemispheres of the brain, affect brain wave activity and induce altered states of consciousness using sound and Dr. Alfred Tomatis, M.D., whose “Electronic Ear” has been proven very effective for working with all sorts of learning disabilities and for emotional imbalances as well.

I would just like to conclude by saying that while I believe that all the instrumentation that is coming forth is quite extraordinary, it is important to remember that we have within ourselves that most amazing and god given instrument of sound for healing and transformation. That instrument is our voice. It is natural, cost effective and does not require batteries or electricity. And perhaps most important, once you get into using your voice for frequency shifting–for healing and transformation–you’ll find it will give you a lifetime of joy. What more could you want?

On Color Therapy

Color Therapy – Another Suppressed Medical Technology

Buck Rogers, Staff Writercolortherapy
Waking Times

All colors have a unique frequency and wavelength, and many believe that colors are powerful healing tools that hold promise in medical applications. Yet, today, it is uncommon to find people who embrace the healing potential of colored light, and it’s unlikely that your mainstream medical doctor would even acknowledge the potential of color therapy. This was not always the case, however.

The technology for color-therapy, the Spectro-Chrome, was developed in 1923 and used for over 20 years in the United States. It may have predicated advancements in color therapy, but we shall never know for sure, as it was it deemed pseudoscience and wiped out by the US federal government who outlawed it and confiscated and destroyed all privately-owned machines were confiscated and under the supervision of US Federal Marshalls. Its creator, Dinshah P. Gadiali was issued a federal indictment and ordered to destroy all of his research materials, thus putting an end to his life’s work and the future of light therapy research.

Light Therapy in Today’s World

There is, in fact, an established medical treatment, known as phototherapy, that utilizes lightwaves to improve patient wellness. The treatment of seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is one example, and patients who suffer from this type of depression are exposed to bright light while comfortably seated. Another example of the use of phototherapy is the treatment of newborns with prolonged signs of jaundice. The baby is placed under a halogen or fluorescent lamp (with their eyes covered to prevent damage) to help to lower the bilirubin levels in the baby’s blood (which gives the jaundiced baby’s skin its yellowish/orange hue). Phototheraphy is also used in the treatment of other skin conditions such as acne and eczema.

If phototherapy is effective, at least in these cases, is there potential in color light therapy?

The Hidden History of the Spectro-Chrome

The Spectro-Chrome reached the height of its popularity in the 1940’s and 50’s when many mainstream physicians used them in thousands of clinics in the U.S. The machine was designed with the premise that light fuels all life on planet Earth, and thus could also serve as “food” for the human body.

The Spectro-Chrome was simple. It had 5 strictly tinted glass plates and an incandescent bulb behind them. A patient would be exposed to colored light using a specific combination of the 5 colored plates while lying in a dark room for a one-hour session. The light could be cast over the entire body or over a specific area that was matched up almost precisely with the meridian lines and points used by in Traditional Chinese Medicine such as acupuncture.

On July 14, 1951, a full-bore FBI raid on Danishah’s clinic removed every one of his machines and destroyed them with sledge hammers. After a long court battle, Danishah was sentenced to three years in prison and the Spectro-Chrome machine continues to be an illegal device under a permanent federal injunction.

The Spectro-Chrome was easy to reproduce, and could be built and used without a high monetary investment or advanced scientific knowledge. With proper training it was easy to understand and use which is why some believe it was considered a threat to the American Medical Association (AMA) and its financial backers, the Rockefellers.

It is believed by some that the AMA and the Rockefellers, who developed strong alliances with drug companies in the early 1900’s, suppressed Dinshah’s Spectro-Chrome machine and several other medical inventions of the early 20th century the tecnology posed a threat to Rockefeller’s interests in pharmaceuticals. Other similar cases of suppressed medical technologies and persecution of their inventors by the Rockefeller cartel include the Rife machine, developed by Royal Raymond Rife as a treatment for cancer, and the orgone accumulator, created by Wilhelm Reich and allegedly capable of harnessing the health benefits of cosmic energy.

You can learn more about the Spectro-Chrome and how it functions in the book, Let There Be Light, written by Ghadiali Dinshah’s son Darius Dinshah.

Modern Color Therapy

Color and light, when magnified and concentrated, can have a significant effect on the human body. Recent research into light and color therapy proves that Dinshah Gadiali may have been way ahead of his time. Educated by Hindu and Vedic teachers, Dinshah believed in the aetheric body, or aura, and the entangled connection it has with the physical body. He understood that restoring balance to one’s aura using light and color can heal the physical body and spirit.

Since the turn of the millennium, numerous studies have been conducted by respected medical organizations that give validity Dinshah’s theories and to the potential healing power of light and color. Here are some examples:

Most modern medical doctors would still consider color therapy to be quackery or pseudoscience, although it is becoming more commonly available in holistic centers, used by hypnotherapists, and incorporated into other alternative healing modalities.

One of the most outspoken practitioners of color therapy and user of a modern version of the Spectro-Chrome Machine, Dr. Kate Baldwin, believed that color therapy is capable of providing marvelous healing results.

“For centuries scientists have devoted untiring effort to discover a means for the relief or cure of human ills and restoration of the normal functions. Yet in neglected light and color there is a potency far beyond that of drugs and serums. Color is the simplest and most accurate therapeutic measure yet developed. I can produce quicker and more accurate results with colors than with any or all other methods combined—and with less strain on the patient.” ~ Kate Baldwin MD and member of the AMA

The Healing Power of Cats

Science Proves Cats Are Holistic Healers

Science Proves Cats Are Holistic Healers

Story by: Steven Bancarz

Cats can make great friends and companions.  And they’re hilarious.  You can laugh endlessly at some of the cat videos on YouTube.  They seem to have almost taken over the internet in the last few years, especially with the rise of Grumpy Cat.  We tend to think of cats as cute little furry things, often unaware of the fact that cats are some of the most powerful healers out there.

Scientific studies have shown time and time again that cats are more than just good pets.  They are extremely therapeutic, and may actually be a good form of medicine for people suffering from heart conditions.

Did you know that owning a cat can reduce your risk of a heart attack? The finding was the main result of a 10 year study of more than 4,000 Americans by researchers at the University of Minnesota’s Stroke Institute in Minneapolis.

After a 10 year follow up period, cat owners showed a 30% lower risk of death from heart attack compared to non cat owners.

This was due to a lower heart rate, lower stress levels, and lower blood pressure.  Lowering your risk of a heart attack by 30% is no joke.  This number gives holistic healers and even heart medications a run for their money.

In addition to the improved heart health, cats also cause a release of oxytocin in the brain.  Oxytocin is the feel-good chemical associated with the feeling of love, and is extremely healing to the body.  Serotonin and dopamine are also released in the brain as you are playing with your cat, which reduces stress and puts the body into a harmonious state and stabilizes your immune system.

Studies have also found that:

Pet owners are less likely to suffer from depression than those without pets.

People with pets have lower blood pressure in stressful situations than those without pets.

Pet owners have lower triglyceride and cholesterol levels (indicators of heart disease) than those without pets.

Heart attack patients with pets survive longer than those without.

Pet owners over age 65 make 30 percent fewer visits to their doctors than those without pets.

While people with dogs often experience the greatest health benefits, a pet doesn’t necessarily have to be a dog or a cat. Even watching fish in an aquarium can help reduce muscle tension and lower pulse rate.

Cat purrs (in additions to the actual cat itself) offer further healing power:

According to an article published in Scientific American, cats purr during both inhalation and exhalation with a consistent pattern and frequency between 25 and 150 Hertz. Various investigators have shown that sound frequencies in this range can improve bone density and promote healing.

You may find that having a cat on your chest while it purrs feels like a complete regeneration.  This is because the frequency of the cats purr is literally healing your cells.

Cats even outperform modern medicine

In a recent study, Dr. Karen Allen, a researcher at the State University of New York at Buffalo, found that stockbrokers with hypertension who adopted a cat or dog had lower blood pressure readings in stressful situations than did their non-pet-owning counterparts.

At the start of the study, the brokers were prescribed the anti-hypertension drug, lisinopril. Half of the participants were randomly selected to also get a dog or cat as a house pet. Six months later, Allen and her colleagues conducted tests in the participants’ homes to measure changes in blood pressure. They found that stress-induced blood pressure continued to rise in the brokers without pets.

The brokers who owned pets also had stress-related rises in blood pressure, but these rises were only half as high as those seen in the petless group. The pet-owning brokers had average systolic pressures (the first number in a blood pressure reading) that fell within the normal healthy range. Stress-related peaks in diastolic pressure (the second number in a reading) were also reduced.

The study, which was posted on the Univerity of Buffalo website and presented at am American Heart Association meeting, concluded that cats control blood pressure better than ACE inhibitors.  They are literally more effectively at regulating blood pressure levels than modern medicine.

Even WebMD has noted that:

1) “Alzheimer’s patients have fewer anxious outbursts” if they live with a companion animal.

2) “Pet owners with AIDS are far less likely to suffer from depression than those without pets.”

3) People who suffer from high blood pressure, then adopt a cat or dog, navigate stressful situations with lower blood pressure than people who don’t have pets.

4) “Heart attack patients who have pets survive longer than those without.”

Psychological Healing

A study published in the Frontiers of Psychology found that interacting with animals, such as cats, produced an increased trustworthiness of and trust toward other persons, reduced aggression, enhanced empathy and improved learning.  They concluded: “We propose that the activation of the oxytocin system plays a key role in the majority of these reported psychological and psychophysiological effects of human-animal interaction”.

Cats, because of the impact they have on our oxytocin levels, literally make us more empathetic and kind people.  I personally find that animals are spiritually healing for me.  When you interact with them, they don’t judge you, interrogate you, belittle you, or comment on you.  They simply provide you love and affection.  Because we know that they aren’t going to judge us, we experience no anxiety when we are around them.  In fact, the part of our brain that activates when we are self-conscious or socially anxious is completely relaxed when we interact with animals.

Taking everything into consideration, cats may be one of the best kept secrets in modern medicine.  Their special healing gifts were no secret to the ancient Egyptians however, who seemed to treat cats as some kind of gods.

They actually used to be worshiped in Egypt, and were often depicted wearing jewelry in hieroglyphs.  In fact, killing a cat, even by accident, was considered a criminal act punishable by death.

While they may not be gods, they are a medical wonder, and may be a great way to deal with the stresses of life.  From depression, to anxiety, to stress, to physiological healing, they are truly some of the best holistic healers out there.

Your Color Vibe for Thursday, May 21

Thursday, May 21:   Storm Cloud White

There is much to be learned by watching how a thunderstorm comes in, bellows, and leaves. There is much to be learned by watching how people around you are acting today. Their bellowing is a reflection of what they really are feeling right now, so you can except to encounter a number of Freudian slips. These are clues to what is actually going on, so it would behoove you to take note and do a bit of sleuthing to find out what is really being said. The person behind the mask is very active today as people are finding that their levels of frustration are growing, and they are feeling powerless to do anything about it. You must, therefore, be aware that there will be anger about today and take a moment to ground, center , and protect so that in your encounters you are dealing always with the deepest wisdom of your True Heart’s knowing.

Dr. JR Newton, Healing and the Power of Love

Dr. James Rogers Newton …and His Gift of Healing

Extracts were taken from his autobiography, The Modern Bethesda, Or the Gift of Healing Restored (1879)

Dr. James Rogers Newton was born in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 8th, 1810, and was a lineal descendant of John Rogers, who was burned at the stake.

In his youth, Dr. Newton enjoyed all the advantages that competence and good judgment could confer. He early evinced a strong proclivity for the medical profession, or more properly speaking, an inclination to do battle with old Allopathy, to modify and improve, if not to entirely change, the prevailing system of medical practice, so as to make it more in accordance with nature’s laws; but various circumstances combined to prevent the gratification of his desires.

At an early age he became aware of possessing the gift of healing, which he demonstrated amply throughout his adult life. He became conscious of new powers, new capabilities, wonderful and strange, and opening a glorious avenue of usefulness; and his young, enthusiastic spirit burned for the work. But meeting with no encouragement, he suffered his gift to lie cooperatively undeveloped until later years.

For twenty years, he was a prosperous merchant, during which time his peculiar gift was often manifested but never exercised to any great extent until the year 1858. He traveled through parts of Europe investigating hydropathic (water therapy) hospitals and improved his knowledge of healing.

Dr. Newton was a man of most pleasing presence and great manners and reports about him stated that he was very modest of his great abilities, and when he spoke he always acted as a gentleman of refinement and intellect.

He held none of his activities in secret, but welcomed scientific investigation and he always endeavored to promulgate to the world his principles of cure as well as to show how the life principle, or vital force, can be imparted by a positive will from a strong and healthy body to a sickly and weak one, producing an instantaneous cure of the most chronic diseases.

Newton disclaimed any miraculous powers, but declared that the results he produced were founded on philosophic and scientific principles which can, in a measure, be taught. He felt that his extraordinary powers over disease were due to the philanthropic idea of always doing good, projecting love, and his positive character.

In 1853, Dr. Newton was a passenger on the steamer, Golden Gate, from Panama to San Francisco. The second day yellow fever broke out among the 1,300 passengers which also included several physicians. The fever raged for eight days, with seventy-four persons dying and their bodies being consigned to the ocean. The ship’s surgeon lost every patient but one that he attended. Dr. Newton lost none.

In 1858, Dr. Newton commenced practice as a public healer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Despite the usual amount of incredulity and skepticism attendant on the introduction of a new system of curing disease, virtually all who saw his work were compelled to believe. After performing some very wonderful cures, his fame and practice were so great that his rooms were daily crowded with invalids. His average number of daily healings the first several months was about one hundred per day.

The following people’s cases were notarized and attested to by the most notable individuals in the city:

– John Hutchinson, Frankfort, Indiana; cured of paralysis in the leg in 15 minutes

– Miss Catherine Johnson, Cincinnati; blind for 15 years, restored in 15 minutes; and could see to read and work

– Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, Lawrenceburg; rheumatism for 20 years, restored to health in minutes

– William Rolls, cataracts on eyes; perfectly restored to sight in 15 minutes

– Mrs. Francesco, Cleveland; internal ulcers, discharging a pint daily; cured in 10 minutes (her husband was the sexton at White’s Plymouth Church)

– Maria Louisa Crane, 320 George Street, Cincinnati; spine disease for over two years, legs withered and drawn up; 5 months previous to being cured, could not be turned in bed, but lay in one position; fully restored in 15 minutes

– Mrs. Bromwell, 293 George St, Cincinnati; had lost all use of her limbs by spinal disease, had not walked for 8 months; restored in 20 minutes and walked to her hotel

– George Bechtolds, Newport, Kentucky; daughter aged eight years, spine disease and had never walked, moved about room after 15 minutes of treatment

– Frances Harty, fourteen years old, 169 West Fourth Street; hip disease, walked on all-fours without a crutch, cured in 30 minutes and never used crutch afterward

– Mrs. Elizabeth Wallace, Broadway St; totally blind in one eye, and could not distinguish any person four feet distant with the other – both eyes fully restored in 20 minutes

– Jane Scott, Third St, Cincinnati; lame ankle, scarcely able to walk for 12 years, made to walk without halt or limp in 15 minutes

The case of Alexander Fairchild deserves special note and he wrote the following letter to the local newspaper:

‘Two years ago I was taken with fever, was confined to my bed, and lost all use of my legs, which were drawn up and anchylosed. So great was my debility that for five months my head was not raised from the pillow to receive nourishment. I am twenty-five years old, five feet seven and one-half inches high, yet my weight was then about fifty pounds. Midway between my knee and hip I could span my legs with my thumb and middle finger. It is over a year since I was given over as incurable.

‘Last May you published an account of a cure performed by Dr. J.R. Newton, who was then at the Gibson House. My friends were thereby induced to have him come to see me. By the first treatment my whole system was vitalized and invigorated; then one leg was relieved and straightened; the next day the other; and the next day I walked. This was twelve weeks ago and I have increased in strength ever since. I now weigh 135 pounds. I walk out daily and am often in the office of Dr. Newton, and see much of his astounding cures of all kinds of disease.’

Dr. H. T. Child, an eminent physician of the Allopathic profession reported, ‘I saw him operate on more than one hundred persons with various forms of disease. His rooms were crowded with patients who were lame, halt and blind. Of these cases I will mention a case of paralysis. An old man, a painter by trade, came hobbling in on two crutches. He said he had not been able to rise from his seat or walk without aid for eight months. In about twenty minutes he rose up and waked away, going up and down stairs without a cane or crutch.’

Austin A Hill, was Dr. Newton’s personal secretary for many years. Mr Hill wrote, ‘I first met Dr. Newton in the summer of 1863, and since we both seemed to suit each other I became his secretary. Dr. Newton had large crowds that visited him on New York Street in New Haven Connecticut.

‘Of the many people who visited him, the following stood out during my first year I met him

Miss Caroline F. Davis, of Guilford, CT; was brought on a bed sixteen miles, afflicted with spinal disease and she had not walked for 6 years, or spoken above a whisper for 4 years; she was cured instantly. She walked away rejoicing and talked as freely as anyone. Miss Davis later visited the Doctor in New York. She said she came to thank him for what he did for her three years earlier.’

‘Mrs. Wm. Toohy, of Hartford; was brought into our rooms in her husband’s arms; she had spinal problems; she instantly was able to walk.

‘Another case of equal prominence was that of Hon. D.L. Harris, formerly mayor of Springfield, but at the time was a member of the Massachusetts Legislature. Mr. Harris had been injured in a carriage accident and couldn’t walk. In less than 5 minutes he could walk without any assistance.’

Mr. Hill also said, ‘During my time with the Dr. Newton, the number of names of the people who registered with us was approximately 10,000, but fully nine-tenths were free patients, or those not liable to pay for treatment – the Doctor’s rule being that if a patient was worth less than $1,000, he or she was cured, ‘without money and without price.

A remarkable case was reported by Mr. Hill as well as the Toldeo Record newspaper. ‘Margaret Fuller fell from a horse at fourteen years old and injured her spine that that her lower limbs were totally paralyzed. In this condition she succeeded in getting an education and became a teacher. Her brothers built a sort of ‘go-cart’ in which they used to draw her back and forth from school. Later, she finally married Mr. Fuller, and went to live at Tontogany, Ohio. She had eight children, two of which were in the northern army and became lieutenants. Not one of those eight children ever saw her stand on her feet or walk a step in their lives.

‘In this condition she was brought to Dr. Newton, sitting on the hands of two men. In less than 10 minutes she came walking out of the treatment room. She came out saying, ‘how strange this seems!’ ‘The doctor told her to go down and have a steak broiled, and eat a good hearty meal, and fear nothing.’

After this case the rush of invalids was truly amazing. Six extra cars had to be added to the morning train to accommodate those wishing to visit the ‘great healer.’

It was reported that when Dr. Newton visited Portland, Maine, he met with a young boy, who was about fifteen or sixteen years of age, who was a patient of Dr. Stone. Dr. Stone had known this boy from childhood. Both of the boy’s feet turned in till the toes pointed nearly toward each other. Dr. Stone approached Dr. Newton at a lecture and asked, ‘Can you do anything for this lad?’ ‘Yes, come here, my lad.’ Within minutes of touching him; the boys feet turned out and he walked perfectly with a wonderful gait.

Mr. Hill had the following to add regarding Dr. Newton: ‘to me Dr. Newton was more than generous. He was noble in character and always just in his dealings. I could not help loving him for what he was. Though junior in years, he was like an elder brother or father. From his lips I never heard a profane or obscene word or expression, and nothing seemed to offend him. He was a man of powerful physique and strong passions, and when he heard the word humbug used and applied to him, the fire of those dark hazel eyes and a simple admonition were sufficient to make the stoutest and most hardened, quail and humbly apologize, or quickly leave his presence. He always retired by ten o’clock, unless engaged in visiting the sick or perhaps amused with a game of dominoes. No matter how hard he worked, in the morning he would appear as bright as the lark. When not feeling exactly well, he asked me to lend him my magnetism when I would sit by him, with my hand on his head, or his hands in mine, and in a few minutes he would be fresh as ever.’

When asked about his healing he would say, ‘What did the Great Teacher say? He that lives as I live, the works that I do shall he do also, and still greater works.’

Dr. Newton’s motto was, God is love, and love is the link that binds in one, all human souls to God. Newton had no doubts whether he would cure or not. ‘The difference between him and us was that he was conscious of his power, while we were conscious of our want of power.’

At a meeting in England, Dr. Newton stated, ‘As to the power of healing, it is merely an illustration of the power of love. When any sick person comes before me, I lay my hands on that person and feel that I love him; tell him I love him and if the patient is not antagonistic, he is almost sure to be healed because this opens their heart to me and the disease must depart.’

Throughout his healing career, Dr. Newton was very well liked by all class of people. He had no difficulty relating to anyone that he met.

Dr. Newton was engaged in three lawsuits during his life. Individuals who were jealous of his work did their best to impede his activities. During one case over one thousand people produced notarized statements of his healing ability and success with them.

Sturdy Houseplants to Clean the Air

Pop quiz: which is more polluted, indoor air or outdoor air? 10 times out of 10, indoor air in your house, office or apartment is going to be worse than the air outside. Indoor air pollution has been ranked among the top 5 greatest risks to public health by the EPA, and stagnant indoor air allows pollutants to build up and stick to the things inside of your home.

The things in our homes emit some nasty toxic chemicals, like formaldehyde for example. You can also be impacted by pollutants like pollen, bacteria, mold, dust and various outdoor contaminants that find their way inside.

Fortunately, houseplants can help us solve some of these air quality issues. Even if you don’t have a green thumb, these houseplants are basically impossible to kill. Let’s check them out!

1) Garden Mum

This plant was found by NASA to be a real air-purifying beast. It removes ammonia, benzene, formaldehyde, and xylene from your home’s air. It’s popular and inexpensive, plus they can be planted outside too.

2) Spider Plant

Spider plants are incredibly easy to grow, so if you’re a beginner, this is a great one to start with. It lights bright, indirect light and sends out shoots with flowers on them that will eventually grow into baby spider plants that you can propagate yourself. Before too long, you’ll have more spider plants than you’ll know what to do with.

There are over 40 kinds of dracaena plants, which makes it easy to find the right one for you. They remove benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene, and xylene from the air. They are toxic to cats and dogs though, so if you have pets, you might want to think twice about this one.

Ficus trees are a favorite of mine as they are able to grow quite large depending on the type of pot you have them in. They typically stand between 2 and 10 feet tall and have some serious air cleaning abilities. You can also keep it outside in the spring and summer. The ficus removes benzene, trichloroethylene and formaldehyde from indoor air.

This plant likes cool locations with high humidity and indirect light. Bathrooms are a perfect spot for these little friends. They remove pollutants like xylene and formaldehyde from indoor air.

7) Snake Plant

I see this one all over the place in offices and restaurants – and for good reason. They’re pretty much impossible to kill. They need water only occasionally (about once per month) and prefer drier conditions. They don’t need much direct sunlight either. They remove benzene, formaldehyde, trichloroethylene and xylene from indoor air.

8) Bamboo Palm

Bamboo palms are most effective at filtering formaldehyde. They thrive in full sun and bright light. They grow as high as 12 foot too, making them an incredible presence indoors. They remove benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene.

9) Aloe Vera

Aloe is a multi-use plant for sure. It has health benefits when consumed in smaller amounts, helps relieve burns, and cleans your indoor air as well. It removes formaldehyde effectively from indoor air.
