Consumer Reports tested 126 products from McCormick, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and other popular brands. Almost a third had heavy metal levels high enough to raise health concerns. There is no safe level of lead to have in the bloodstream and the effects of lead add up over time. Lead exposure has been linked to brain damage and developmental delays in children. All of the brands of oregano were determined to be of “some concern”. The Simply Organic brand appeared to be the cleanest of those tested.

Consumer Reports (CR) tested 126 products from McCormick, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and other popular brands. Almost a third had heavy metal levels high enough to raise health concerns.

For two herbs, thyme and oregano, all the products we tested had levels that CR experts say are concerning.

In 31 products, levels of lead were so high that they exceeded the maximum amount anyone should have in a day, according to CR’s experts.

Also troubling: There was no single predictor of which products contained higher levels of heavy metals—for example, brand name didn’t matter, and neither did “organic” or “packed in USA” claims.

The good news? Many products performed well in the tests. In seven of the 15 types of herbs and spices tested, all the brands had heavy metal levels below our thresholds for concern. And in most others, we found at least one brand that fit into our No Concern category. And none of the tested herbs and spices were contaminated with salmonella bacteria, which may cause foodborne illness.

The Threat of Heavy Metals

Frequent exposure to even small amounts of lead, arsenic, cadmium, and other heavy metals is dangerous, in part because it’s difficult for the human body to break them down or excrete them. And over time, exposure to those heavy metals can harm health. In children, it can affect brain development, increasing the risk for behavioral problems and lower IQ. In adults, it can contribute to central nervous system problems, reproductive problems, and hypertension, and can damage kidney and immune function.

“Since the risks are serious,” Rogers says, “it pays to limit your intake of heavy metals as much as possible.”

Heavy metals can show up in food if the water or soil where food is grown contains them naturally or is contaminated because of pesticides or industrial uses, says Tunde Akinleye, a CR chemist who oversaw the testing. Heavy metals may also get into food, including herbs and spices, during manufacturing—from processing equipment or packaging, for example.

Laura Shumow, executive director of the American Spice Trade Association, says it’s almost impossible to rid herbs and spices of all heavy metals because of “the unavoidable presence in the environments where they are grown.” She also says the amount of heavy metals absorbed from the soil, and the part of the plant where they can end up, differs from plant to plant. The trade group offers companies guidance on how to limit contaminants that they can implement with their suppliers.

Shumow says that according to a recent risk analysis by the ASTA, spices make up less than 0.1 percent of dietary lead exposure in children ages 1 to 6. And even for adults, she says, the ASTA believes the risk is low “in large part because spices are a very small component of the diet.”

But CR’s data underscore a broader problem. “People reach for the herbs and spices in their kitchens multiple times a day,” Akinleye says. And for certain spices, just one serving—¾ teaspoon or more—per day leaves little room for heavy metal exposure from other sources. For example, CR’s previous testing found that some brands of fruit juicebaby food, and rice contain troubling amounts of heavy metals.

And smaller amounts of certain products could be a concern if they are combined with others in a recipe. For example, a dish that has just ¼ teaspoon each of Great Value (Walmart) Chili Powder, Trader Joe’s Organic Cumin, and La Flor Oregano per serving would contain enough arsenic, cadmium, and lead to pose a concern.

Other research also suggests that herbs and spices can contribute to heavy metal exposure. For instance, a 2018 study in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report found high lead levels in 22 percent of food samples—mostly spices and herbal remedies—taken from homes of children with lead poisoning in North Carolina.

And a 2010 study linked a case of lead poisoning in a 12-month-old Massachusetts boy in part to turmeric used by the family. Five similar cases were later discovered in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, and New York. And more than a dozen turmeric products have been recalled since 2011.

CR’s tests, however, demonstrate that it is possible for herb and spice companies to limit heavy metals in their products. “About two-thirds of the spices we tested did not have concerning levels of heavy metals,” Akinleye says. “So we know spices don’t have to have worrisome amounts of lead or arsenic or any other heavy metal.”

Groundbreaking Investigation Finds Alarming Levels of Arsenic, Lead and Toxic Chemicals in U.S. Tap Water

A joint investigation by the Guardian and Consumer Reports found drinking water samples from systems servicing more than 19 million people in the U.S. contained unsafe levels of multiple contaminants.

On Tuesday, the Guardian released the results of a nine-month investigation conducted jointly with Consumer Reports (CR) which showed alarming levels of heavy metals like arsenic, lead and chemicals from plastic PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) in drinking water samples across the U.S.

According to the Guardian, millions of people face serious water quality problems in the U.S. because of contamination, deteriorating infrastructure and inadequate treatment at water plants.

As part of the study, CR and the Guardian selected 120 volunteers to provide tap water samples which were then tested for heavy metals like lead and arsenic, contaminants and PFAS — a group of compounds found in hundreds of household products that are linked to learning delays in children, cancer and other health problems.

The samples came from water systems that service more than 19 million people.

Here are four key findings from this report:

  • A total of 118 of 120 samples analyzed had concerning levels of PFAS, arsenic or lead exceeding safety thresholds set by CR scientists and other health experts.
  • Almost every sample had measurable levels of PFAS and more than 35% of samples contained the potentially toxic “forever chemicals,” at levels that exceeded CR’s  maximum safety threshold.
  • About 8% of samples contained arsenic at levels above CR’s recommended maximum.
  • One tested water sample in New Britain, Connecticut, had a lead concentration of 31.2 ppb — more than double the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) action level of 15 ppb, and 25 ppb higher than the water quality report sent to people who use the water.

In response to the findings, EPA spokesperson Andrea Drinkard said 93% of the population supplied by community water systems get water that meets “all health-based standards all of the time” and that the agency has set standards for more than 90 contaminants. That includes arsenic and lead but not PFAS.

However, according to an analysis of more than 140,000 public water systems published by the Guardian in February, millions of people in the U.S. are drinking water that fails to meet federal health standards, including limits for dangerous contaminants.

‘Forever chemicals’ (PFAS) in tap water

CR’s results showed PFAS in 117 of 120 samples tested, from locations across the country. Two CR samples had PFAS levels above the federal advisory level of 70 ppt, with the highest amount at 80.2 ppt.

PFAS chemicals have been manufactured and used in a variety of industries in the U.S. since the 1940s, according to the EPA. They can be found in food packaging, commercial household products, stain and water-repellent fabrics, nonstick cookware, polishes, waxes, paints, cleaning products, fire-fighting foams, oil and plastics industries and contaminated drinking water.

PFAS chemicals seep into water from factories, landfills and other sources. They’re often called “forever chemicals” because they can accumulate in the body and don’t easily break down in the environment.

An investigation into the health effects of PFAS involving research of 69,000 people revealed a “probable link” between exposure to a type of PFAS chemical and six health problems: high cholesterol, ulcerative colitis, thyroid disease, pregnancy-induced hypertension, and testicular and kidney cancers. Research has also linked PFAS to learning delays in children.

As reported by The Defender, science suggests links between PFAS exposure and a range of health consequences, including possible increased risks of cancer, thyroid disease, high cholesterol, liver damage, kidney disease, low birth-weight babies, immune suppression, ulcerative colitis and pregnancy-induced hypertension.

At least 2,337 communities in 49 states have drinking water known to be contaminated with PFAS, according to a January analysis by the Environmental Working Group, an advocacy organization.

Despite evidence of widespread contamination and health risks, the EPA has not set an enforceable legal limit for PFAS in drinking water. It has established only voluntary limits, which apply to just two forever chemicals — perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) — at 70 parts per trillion combined.

Harvard environmental health professor Philippe Grandjean has suggested that the limit should be just 1 ppt for PFOA and PFOS, citing his 2013 research published in Environmental Health.

Most municipalities don’t test for PFAS, and when they do, it’s only on a small scale.

Toxic arsenic in tap water

Almost every sample CR tested had measurable levels of arsenic, a common groundwater contaminant, including 10 samples with levels between 3 and 10 ppb, according to the Guardian.

CR scientists and environmental advocacy groups like the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) have said the limit should be 3 ppb or lower, but the EPA allows arsenic in drinking water up to 10 ppb to balance the costs for water system operators against reducing health risks.

Research suggests exposure to minimal levels of arsenic can pose long-term health risks. A 2014 study in Environmental Health found that arsenic at 5ppb or greater was associated with reduced IQ in children.

As The Defender reported in March, arsenic was “ranked number one among substances present in the environment that pose the most significant potential threat to human health,” according to a congressional report that resulted from an investigation into heavy metals like lead and arsenic found in baby food.

According to the report: “Exposure to toxic heavy metals causes permanent decreases in IQ, diminished future economic productivity, and increased risk of future criminal and antisocial behavior in children. Toxic heavy metals endanger infant neurological development and long-term brain function.”

Dangerous level of lead in tap water

Concerns of lead in drinking water first made national headlines during the Flint, Michigan water crisis in 2015. Scientists and the EPA have agreed there is no safe exposure level for lead, though the EPA’s action level for lead is set at 15 ppb.

While New Britain’s annual water quality report for customers indicated that its average lead level was 6 ppb, one sample tested by CR showed lead concentrations of 31.2 ppb, more than double the EPA’s action level of 15 ppb.

Lead typically works its way into drinking water through lead pipes leading to peoples’ homes or in the homes’ plumbing. An estimated 3 to 6 million homes and businesses in the U.S. still get water through older lines that contain lead, according to EPA estimates, and an unknown number of homes have plumbing fixtures made of the heavy metal.

It is well established that inorganic arsenic and lead found in tap water are neurotoxic and can result in reduced IQ as well as adverse neurodevelopmental outcomes, such as autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) — two conditions that have been steadily climbing for several decades, reported The Defender.

According to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, lead can also cause reproductive issues, low bone density, poor kidney function, cognitive decline and negatively impacts every organ system in the body. High levels of exposure can cause encephalopathy or death.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has identified no “threshold or safe level of lead in blood.”

Next steps — solving the problem

Although people can seek cleaner drinking water by using filters and home filtration systems that remove dangerous contaminates, CR says fixing the problem shouldn’t be up to consumers.

The NRDC has called on the Biden administration and Congress to enact legislation requiring the expeditious removal and replacement of lead lines and to take immediate steps to address PFAS contamination in drinking water.

There is no question anymore about it. Chemtrails are real and are not to be confused with contrails. If you’re skeptical, that is okay, though please take a look at the CIA Director’s comments about geoengineering here.

For those understanding that chemtrails pose a real threat to humanity, together we’ll take a look at some foods and health supplements that can be used to help protect yourself against chemtrails.

When barium, nano particles of aluminum, radioactive thorium, mercury, lead, ethylene dibromide and many other toxic chemicals and heavy metals are being sprayed into our atmosphere, it is a good idea to learn how to properly defend your body from such contaminants.


The first thing to keep in mind regarding detoxification and health is that we must include foods that help us to naturally detoxify our body, while still taking in nutrients. Any food that has lots of chlorophyll  in it will help tremendously in detoxing as well as providing essential nutrients our cells need. Ensuring to include plenty of spinach, green salads, arugula, cilantro, parsley, kale, cucumbers and other green veggies into your meals is a great way to begin.

Looking more specifically at cilantro, we find that when combined with chlorella, it can remove a very large amount of heavy metals within a short time frame. In fact, studies done at the Optimal Wellness Test Research Center showed that within 42 days of using cilantro and chlorella, 74% of aluminum, 91% of Mercury and 87% of lead within the body was removed. It was noted that using cilantro and chlorella in conjunction was important because cilantro mobilizes many more toxins than it can remove from the body, whereas with chlorella also in the bloodstream, it can act to remove the excess toxins found in the bloodstream.

Other foods to consider using are spirulina and medicinal mushrooms like Reishi, Lion’s Mane, Chaga and Agarikon. Chaga mushrooms have been scientifically proven to protect against DNA degradation, remove synthetic chemicals and heavy metals, and purify the blood.

Health Supplements

Fulvic acid is a health supplement gaining massive attention in the health supplement field, thanks in large part to Dr. Dan Nuzum. Fulvic acid is the end product of a process called humification. Microorganisms decompose plant matter in the soil which results in fulvic and humic acids. These are perhaps the most important and nutrient rich substances on the planet. In fact, fulvic acid is the most potent anti-oxidant known as it contains over 14 tetratrillion electrons (that’s 14 with 21 zeroes behind it) that it can donate to neutralize free radicals.

This gives it an incredible ability to provide electrochemical balance within the cell, which is crucial for detoxification. It also is rich in electrolytes, increases the synthesis rate of RNA and DNA, increases assimilation of vitamins and minerals into cells.

Radioactive substances react rapidly with fulvic acid, and only a brief time is required for equilibrium to be reached.”

Additionally, fulvic acids help tremendously with transforming toxic metals in the body:

“Fulvic acid has the power to form stable water soluble complexes with monovalent, divalent, trivalent, and ployvalent metal ions. It can aid the actual movement of metal ions that are normally difficult to mobilize or transport. Fulvic acids are excellent natural chelators and cation exchangers, and are vitally important in the nutrition of cells.”

The source of fulvic acid is important though as Optimally Organic notes that getting fulvic acid from vegetation rather than dried rock beds is best as the excess carbon found in the fulvic from rock beds makes the fulvic ineffective.


An incredible health supplement.

In addition to fulvic acid to help against destructive chemicals in the air, nascent iodine is something to also consider.

Nascent iodine is iodine that is in atomic form rather than molecular form. This form of iodine is easily absorbed by the body and is what is produced by the thyroid gland. Having enough iodine in the body is necessary for normal T3 and T4 hormone production as well as in assisting the detoxification process.

In a person who has given themselves sufficient iodine, radioactive iodine(extremely harmful) can’t bind into our body’s receptor cells and will be flushed out. However, it is important to ensure the body is receiving enough absorbable iodine, which nascent iodine provides.

Why Chemtrails?

There are a couple reasons discussed as to why chemtrails occur in our skies. The first is that some believe that shadow government want to keep people sick and unwell, so the pharmaceutical and western medical establishments continue to financially profit off of sick and unwell people. The second is that the shadow government wants to block out the Sun’s rays as much as possible. The first is that they know sunlight is actually healthy for a person and the second is so that our DNA does not continue to receive upgrades from the light that comes forth from the Sun. Remember that Russian scientists have scientifically shown how light positively affects DNA.

Additionally, engineer and scientist Maurice Cotterell has stated that genetic mutations and upgrades occur through the action of ionizing radiation and that X-rays and gamma rays from the Sun are the key factor in genetic leaps that species have taken and will continue to take.

This is one of the most dangerous, covert, and global operations to which we have ever been exposed; and this is very difficult for people to understand: the serious implications of products (cell phones and Smart Meters) and invisible environmental toxins that damage our ability to think clearly. This is a major contributing factor to our diminished cognitive functions. However, it is not the only source of harm.

When we begin to connect the dots to the thousands of unsafe and often highly toxic chemicals, heavy metals, and hormone disruptors to which we are exposed daily, we then can collectively see that this is not just a one-issue health crisis we face. Rather, with corporations allowed free reign to poison us with impunity [the new Monsanto protection bill is the latest crime against us], we do not have any way to have any redress of decades of grievances. The ramifications of this are enormous.

Vaccines & Heavy Metals Dangers

The idea that a vaccine can give a person or animal protection from some disease has been around since even before the 19th century. It seemed like a reasonable idea, and it took off in the 20th century with a giant push from the pharmaceutical corporations and backed by a covert agenda of harm. So, by the mid-1950s, American children were required to get about 4 vaccinations, including the polio vaccine.

What was hidden from us, and never taken into any public account even in 1960, was that the polio vaccine was prepared using the African Green Monkey. Even then, this primate was known to be a carrier of a cancer-causing virus known as Simian Virus 40 (SV40). This virus crosses species to humans. The Salk vaccine contains this carcinogenic virus; but Americans were never told about the dangers. As with so many other poisons, federal agencies knew, but these vaccines were never removed from the market, until it was very late. The harm done to unsuspecting people was huge. See:


Today, American children are given more than 40 vaccines. This starts on the very first day of life when they are given the Hepatitis B vaccine. A newborn’s immune system is immature; and so, from day one, a baby’s health is already compromised with toxic ingredients in this vaccine. In addition, there are 3 more recommended doses of the Hep B vaccine during the baby’s first year. Ingredients in the Hep B vaccine include: Polysorbate 80 [also known as Tween 80, used as an emulsifier in cosmetics, and is known to cause infertility, grand mal convulsions, spontaneous abortions, and life-threatening anaphylactic shock]; formaldehyde [a known carcinogen and reproductive or developmental toxicant]; and aluminum sulphate [toxic to the reproductive system, mucous membranes, skin, causes bone loss, and damages brain function]. Aluminum is known as a persistent neurotoxin.(2) It is also one of the ingredients in the deadly aerosol Chemtrails, in the form of nano-coated fiber Aluminum.

Why are these poisons in a supposedly “protective” vaccine? Does it make any sense to a rational person? This is a vaccine that is supposed to “prevent disease.”(1) Hepatitis B vaccine is given for “high risk behavior” persons. Does a newborn baby qualify for being a high risk? How long can we still believe the lies and enormous decades-long deceit from agencies bought off by the corporations?

There also are the toxins in the HPV vaccine now pushed on children as young as 11 – even when there have been many deaths! This has all been preventable were parents informed of vaccine dangers. Earlier this year, Judicial Watch sued the US government for “Secrets on HPV vaccine deaths.”(4) See:

For decades, Robert Kennedy Jr. has also been writing and speaking about another dangerous ingredient in vaccines, the mercury derivative known as “thimerosol.” He documents that “government health agencies colluded with Big Pharma to hide the risks.”(3) It is used as a vaccine preservative, so that more doses can be made and give Big Pharma far more profits.

Going back to ancient Rome, mercury has been known as a poison. Used in vaccines since the 1930s, mercury has a centuries-long history of causing cell injury and cell death. It is known to destroy the central nervous system. It is also linked to brain damage and to the explosion of ADD, ADHD, and other early cognitive troubles that were rare until children were forced to have more shots. Mercury is also one of the major toxic ingredients in dental amalgam “silver fillings.” Millions of Americans have these fillings in their mouths. Over a lifetime, each filling leaches mercury into the bloodstream. It takes decades for mercury to show its lethal impact on brain function. Amalgam fillings are a major contributing factor to brain damage and cognitive dysfunction seen in elders.

In 1910, my grandfather was opposed to using amalgam fillings as a dental restoration. That was 103 years ago! Then, my mother continued his research and lectured worldwide on these known dangers. She had a 47-year dental practice in New York and opposed the American Dental Association [ADA] for its heinous support of amalgam use.

These well-based warnings were never heeded. So, today millions more people have toxic mercury – instead of safer alternatives – leaching into their bloodstreams. Both these leading dentists urged the use of gold [foils, inlays, or crowns] as a safe and lifetime dental restoration. See:


PLEASE NOTE: removal of amalgam fillings must be done by a dentist with experience needed for the specific heavy metals Haz-Mat protocol. This is both for the safety of the patient and the dentist. The fillings cannot just be drilled out without a specific safety procedure. This mercury then must be disposed of properly.

Mercury is also found in other products. It was removed from glass thermometers because of the known dangers. But mercury is still in constant use. Light bulbs have now been replaced with supposedly “energy-saving” long-life light bulbs that also contain mercury. When one of these bulbs breaks, it becomes a Haz-Mat site. These new compact fluorescent light bulbs contaminate our environment with 30,000 pounds of mercury annually:


There is no safe level of mercury. Further, there is enough overwhelming medical evidence that mercury-based products cause enormous harm. There has never been any precaution in manufacturing vaccines, or toxic light bulbs, or dental fillings. Greed has trumped any precaution and safety, while we continue to suffer harm. Genetically Modified Organisms [GMOs]

Splicing genes from one species to another to create genetically modified organisms has contaminated the web of life throughout our planet. When the Big Agra businesses decided to create GMOs, there was barely any public discussion in America; and laws were passed without any precaution or long-term testing. Crops that are GMO – corn, soy, rapeseed oil, some species of wheat, and cotton – have been grown in heavily damaged soil using glyphosate [product name, Round-Up], and have poisoned millions of acres of land belonging to farmers who do not grow GMOs. In India, the suicide rate among farmers is 46 per day – with a staggering total of 270,940 farmers’ deaths since 1995.


Corporations, such as Montanto, can take these farmers to court for growing GMOs because of the rigging of the legal system to favor corporate crimes. These tragic deaths are often linked to the control of the seed supply. Dr. Vandana Shiva, one of India’s greatest women [author of 20 books, more than 500 articles, and 1993 recipient of the Right Livlihood Award], notes:

“Monsanto and its PR men are trying desperately to delink the epidemic of farmers’ suicides in India from its growing control over the cotton seed supply. For us it is the control over seed, the first link in the food chain, the source of life which is our biggest concern. When a corporation controls seed, it controls life. Including the life of our farmers. The trends of Monsanto’s concentrated control on the seed sector in India or across the world is the central issue.

…Through patents on seeds, Monsanto has become the ‘Life Lord’ on the planet, collecting rents from life’s renewal and from farmers, the original breeders. Patents on seed are illegitimate because putting a toxic gene into a plant cell is not the “creation” or invention of the plant. They are seeds of deception -the deception of Monsanto being the creator of seeds and life, the deception that while it sues farmers and traps them in debt, it is working for farmers’ welfare and ‘improving farmers lives’- the deception that GMOs feed the world.”(5)

From the beginning, in Europe, there has been far more transparency about the toxicity of GMOs. The oldest environmental magazine is the UK’s “The Ecologist” founded 43 years ago by the brilliant Edward Goldsmith – a recipient of the 1991 Right Livelihood Award [the alternative Nobel Prize]. In 1998, this magazine devoted an entire issue to GMOs called “The Monsanto Files.” This is an excellent source of background information that was not reported here. GMOs have never delivered what they purportedly were supposed to do: increase crop yields, and use less herbicides and pesticides. None of this has happened, because there were lies and deception from the beginning. Dr. Mae-Wan Ho, one of the world’s leading scientists, and director of London’s Institute for Science in Society (ISIS), has long been an opponent of GMOs; and she has published several books and numerous scientific papers on transgenic dangers. ISIS published “The Case for a GM-Free Sustainable World.” The following is part of the Executive Summary:

“The instability of transgenic lines has plagued the industry from the beginning, and this may be responsible for a string of major crop failures. A review in 1994, stated ‘while there are some examples of plants which show stable expression of a transgene these may prove to be the exceptions to the rule.’ In an informal survey of 30 companies involved in the comercialization of transgenic crop plants…almost all of the respondents indicated that they had observed some level of transgene inaction. Many respondents indicated that most cases of transgene inactivation never reach the literature.”

“In the United States, glyphosate-tolerant weeds are plaguing GM cotton and soya fields, and atrazine, one of the most toxic herbicides, has had to be used with glyfosinate-tolerant GM maize.”(6)

In the US, about 85 percent of the corn grown in genetically modified. Why would anyone want to eat corn that has been poisoned by atrazine and glyphosate? The links between serious illness and GMOs are well documented. ISIS has published one scientific report after another documenting these dangers.

This executive summary also includes major concerns about GM food safety, dangerous gene products being incorporated into crops, and terminator crops spreading male sterility. These broad-spectrum herbicides are “toxic to humans and other species.” The list of dangers goes on and on, and there is more than a decade and a half of reported GMO toxicity in the scientific literature.

Birth defects and sterility have been linked to genetically engineered crops and Round-Up as well as enormous harm to animals, humans and plants. A new website is documenting the worldwide scientific research, and can be found here (7):


F. William Engdahl’s book “Seeds of Destruction” is also another damning indictment of GMO dangers and what devious practices have transpired behind the scenes with the multi-national agra corporations. Two other recent events give us hope that GMOs will soon be banned and the corporations that have wrecked such havoc will be held accountable for massive and criminal poisoning of our food supply.

Hormone Disruption

Our endocrine (or hormone) system is a collection of glands that secrete various hormones (chemical messages) into our bloodstream. These impact and influence almost every one of our cells, organs, and bodily functions. There are literally millions of chemical products globally that affect the endocrine system and, in fact, DISRUPT it.  Some of the earliest evidence of hormone disruption dates back to the 1970s, when frogs and other amphibians were found with 5 legs, and there were other indications that 18-20 percent of adult frogs were feminized.

Something was amiss; but scientists were puzzled about what was wrong and how it was already impacting wildlife. One of the early scientific published reports showed “that atrazine causes tadpoles of the classic ‘laboratory rat’ of the frog world, the African clawed toad, Xenopus laevus, to become hermaphroditic as adults.” The atrazine levels were low, but still did enormous harm.(8)

There are chemical disruptors that mimic hormones, and are known to affect production of estrogens, androgens, other hormones, and normal sexual development. They are also known to block hormonal action and alter and disrupt hormonal chemical messages. The list of extensive harm that results is enormous. Products includes: industrial chemicals [PCBs, and dioxin]; and pesticides [such as DDT, one of the first used, that still causes long-lasting harm, even though it was banned in 1973  in the US].

Rachel Carson warned us in 1962 about DDT toxicity. Her warning was ignored. One of the long-lasting impacts of DDT is that girls exposed to it before they reach “puberty, are 5 times more likely to develop breast cancer in middle age.” See:


Another group of hormone disruptors are a group of chemicals known as phthalates. They are used to make plastics soft, are found in thousands of household products [cosmetics, childrens’ toys and thousands of baby products, including baby bottles and pacifiers, rolls of food wrappers, and food packaging –that off-gases and then leaches into food]. They are ubiquitous around the world. About 1-billion pounds of phthalates are produced annually. See:


Ten years ago, when I included phthalates in a section of my book “The Uterine Crisis,” most women did not know about the devastating effects on reproduction. Phthalates off gas; and we are constantly exposed to the chronic harm they cause. These include damage to: egg production; prenatal development; offspring’s development and sexual maturity. Women are not the only ones negatively affected by exposure to phthalates. For men, this includes: a reduction in sperm motility; damaged sperm; and lower sperm count. Male sperm count is now down 50 percent from where it was in the 1970s.

While mainstream controlled news focuses on the problems with our food supply [and yes, the toxic chemicals in food are a big problem], the phthalate link is rarely addressed. One of the best books, written for the general reader is by co-author Dr. Theo Colburn: “Our Stolen Future”. The book was written in 1996; and the website has become an important resource for all the updated dangers of what these chemicals have done to all humans and other life forms, and how this systemic toxicity is now in the gene pool. There are no safe levels of phthalate use (or even BPA-free). These chemcals have already caused massive devastation and global harm. For our safety and future, all these chemicals need to be banned. There are safe alternatives.

These toxins connect some of the important dots to the evidence of the tremendous amount of poisoning to which we are constantly assaulted every day. If we think we are safe, it is an illusion. Much of this is invisible and, therefore, off our radar. But early signs of worldwide brain dysfunction and damage do fit into this picture. There are thousands upon thousands of scientific and medical reports and decades of research showing the insidious dangers of each and every toxin mentioned in this article.

When one begins to add up the thousands of poisons and what they do to any living organism, it is not surprsing that we have staggering rates of cancers, multiple immune diseases, global hormone disruption, and a worldwide population that is crippled with harm. The damage done to our children and grandchildren is incalculable. As co-author Dr. Theo Colburn has written: 1 chemical plus 1 chemical does not equal 2. It could equal up to 1,600 times the original poisoned dose. We now have a mathematical nightmare of staggering proportions with this highly toxic spew.

What can we do?

We continue to be cannon fodder and experimental lab animals for the elites and their multi-national corporations. Their bottom line is massive profits, and billions of people buy their toxic products. We all are expendable for their $$$! As David Icke said a few days ago: “We are looking at an historic moment, in terms of the history of exposure.”(9)
