Big Events Coming In September-Check it Out

As always, do your research!  But so many feel that September is going to be critical on all levels:

The Big List Of 33 Things That Are Going To Happen In September 2015

33 SignIs September 2015 going to be a month that changes history?  For months, there has been an unprecedented amount of buzz all over the Internet about what is going to happen in September.  And without a doubt, we are going to witness a convergence of events during that month that is quite remarkable.  What I have attempted to do in this article is to put together a list of things that we know will happen next month.  Some of the lists that I have seen contain things that cannot be proven or that are simply inaccurate.  And of course it is very likely that some things will happen in September that we cannot anticipate right now.  I am just providing the information that I have at this time, and it is up to you and your family to prepare for what you believe will happen.  The following is my big list of 33 things that are going to happen in September 2015…

September 1 – This marks the beginning of FEMA’s annual “National Preparedness Month

September 7 – Labor Day

September 11 – The 14th anniversary (7+7) of 9/11

September 11 – The last day of trading on Wall Street before the end of the Shemitah year

September 12 – Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour opens in the United States.  The first stop is in Washington D.C. and according to Holly Deyo the “opening theme is Desecration of The Bride and Arrival of Fallen Angels”

September 12 and September 13 – Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, a leading authority in Ultra-Orthodox Judaism, has indicated that the Messiah that the Jewish people are expecting could come at this time

September 13 – The last day of the Shemitah year.  During the last two Shemitah cycles, we witnessed record-breaking stock market crashes on the very last day of the Shemitah year (Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar).  For example, if you go back to September 17th, 2001 (which was Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), we witnessed the greatest one day stock market crash in all of U.S. history up until that time.  The Dow plunged 684 points, and it was a record that held for exactly seven years until the end of the next Shemitah cycle.  On September 29th, 2008 (which was also Elul 29 on the Biblical calendar), the Dow plummeted 777 points, which still today remains the greatest one day stock market crash of all time in the United States.  Now we are in another Shemitah year.  It began in the fall of 2014, and it ends on September 13th, 2015.

September 13Partial solar eclipse

September 14 – Rosh Hashanah

September 14 – The first day of trading on Wall Street after the end of the Shemitah year

September 15 – The 70th session of the UN General Assembly begins on this date.  It has been widely reported that France plans to introduce a resolution which will give formal UN Security Council recognition to a Palestinian state shortly after the new session begins.  Up until now, the U.S. has always been the one blocking such a resolution, but Barack Obama has already indicated that things may be different this time around.  It would be extremely difficult to overstate the significance of this.

September 15 – The Jade Helm military exercises are scheduled to end

September 17 – If there is going to be a rate hike in September, this is probably when the Federal Reserve will do it

September 17 – This is the deadline for Congress to vote on Obama’s deal with Iran

September 17Constitution Day – most Americans do not even know that this holiday exists

September 18The Days of Awe conference in Sandpoint, Idaho – Christians from all over the nation will be gathering to call out to God in prayer and to repent for the sins of our country

September 20 to September 26 – The “World Week For Peace in Palestine Israel” sponsored by the World Council of Churches

September 21 – This is when the Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) is projected to begin

September 21The UN International Day Of Peace

September 22 – In Islam, “the Day of Arafat” falls on this day

September 23 – The last day of the summer

September 23 – Yom Kippur

September 23 – The Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, also known as “the Feast of the Sacrifice”, begins

September 23 – Pope Francis arrives at the White House to meet with Barack Obama

September 23 – The 266th Pope will be meeting with the president of the United States on the 266th day of the year.  Some have suggested that “something is being birthed” on that day since 266 days is the average length of the human gestation period.

September 24 – The Pope addresses a joint session of the U.S. Congress

September 25 – On May 14th, 2014 French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius famously proclaimed that we had only 500 days to avoid “climate chaos”. His time frame of 500 days ends on September 25th.

September 25 – The Pope will hold mass in Madison Square Garden in New York City

September 25 to September 27 – The United Nations launches a brand new “universal agenda” for humanity known as “the 2030 Agenda

September 25 – The Pope appears at the UN to deliver an address to kick off the conference at which the 2030 Agenda will be unveiled

September 26 and 27 – The Pope will be traveling to Philadelphia for the “2015 World Meeting of Families

September 28 – The first day of the Feast of Tabernacles

September 28 – This is the date for the last of the four blood moons that fall on Biblical festival dates during 2014 and 2015.  This blood moon will be a “supermoon” and it will be clearly visible from the city of Jerusalem.

Due to the ending of the Shemitah year and numerous other factors, there is rampant speculation that a stock market crash is going to happen in the United States during the month of September.  Previously, I have expressed my view that a major global financial crisis is imminent, but my warning covers all of the remaining months of 2015.  Since I cannot prove that a stock market crash will happen next month, I have left it off the list.  But without a doubt, we are entering the danger zone.

There is also lots of speculation about unusual activity at the Large Hadron Collider during the month of September.  In my research, I have not yet come across anything that confirms that.  If you have solid information concerning this, please send it to me.  But certainly, what they are doing with the Large Hadron Collider concerns me greatly.  This is something that I covered in a previous article entitled “Will The Large Hadron Collider Open Up A Portal To Another Dimension?

In addition, I am also aware that there is a tremendous amount of speculation about an asteroid or a meteor that may or may not be heading toward our planet next month.  At this time, I have no way of proving this is true, and I have no way of disproving it is true either.  I have not come across anything that I can independently verify that indicates that this will or will not happen.  In law school I was trained to stick to the facts, and I don’t have any facts.  If you do have some solid and verifiable information, please share it with me.

Finally, I would like to acknowledge that there is plenty of speculation about certain natural disasters that may happen in September.  They may indeed happen, but I cannot prove anything of that nature right now so I have left those natural disasters off the list.

Needless to say, next month promises to be absolutely crazy, and our time for preparing is running out.

Disaster can strike very suddenly, and when it does, average citizens can be caught totally unprepared.  This is a point that Carl Gallups, the author of a new book entitled “Be Thou Prepared: Equipping the Church for Persecution and Times of Trouble“, recently made during an interview with WND

Gallups identifies specific incidents when civil society collapsed, most notably in New Orleans immediately following Hurricane Katrina.

You ended up with the worst of both worlds,” Gallups observed. “You had widespread criminality, anarchy and disorder, and somehow, at the same time, you had government officials going around enforcing wildly tyrannical guidelines and even confiscating firearms.”

As a result, Americans may be forced to rely on themselves for protection, meaning Christians have to begin planning now.

Even if it doesn’t happen next month, life in America is about to change dramatically.

The infrastructure and government services that we have all come to take for granted may not be there in the future.

It is imperative that we all start to learn how to become more independent of the system, because the system is going to start failing in thousands of different ways.

So what do you think?

Michael Janitch’s Theory of TIme

Dutchsinse + This True Universal Time Allows For Mass And Space To Exist In The Same Way That Space Allows For Mass To Exist

Finally I can tell you what I’ve been working on over the past several months — even going back several years — now ready for somewhat of an announcement.

Be ready, this is huge, and I’m not joking in the least.

Reserve your judgement at the door please.  I urge you to read with an open mind.

‘True Universal Time’ — Equation outline

by Dutchsinse (michael janitch)

time-travel

I have developed an overall theory of “time” as it relates to Mass , Space, and Energy.

Not referring to “time on a clock”, but ACTUAL time of the greater Universe.  Time as a force, not as you imagine it on a wall clock.

The actual physical force of “time” is what I am calling “True Universal Time” being the “time” in which Mass and Space operate.

This  true universal time allows for Mass and Space to exist in the same way that Space allows for mass to exist, and conversely mass allowing for a TIME for the space to be occupied by said mass.

fXA1C
A 3D cube showing a XYZ axis in a “space”. In order for the cube to even be there to begin with, the space must be created, and the time forms as a byproduct of “the beginning” or “the first time” that the mass was placed into the space. Time would then be proportional to the amount of mass, and the distance the mass traveled through space, or the amount of space the mass occupies.

Mass, Space, and Time all must simultaneously exist in order for each other to exist.

You cannot have mass without a space for it to occupy, and you cannot have space without some kind of mass (or lack of mass) to define it (even if that space is a void it is still occupied by a void), and finally you cannot have mass in a space without a “time” for it to occupy that space.

You simply cannot have one without the other.  All three must exist at once in order for mass to move through space.

In other words, you can’t have an object in a space without having ‘space’ to begin with.. and you can’t have space for a mass unless there is a TIME in which the mass was placed in the space to begin with.

The “time” of the placing of mass into a space would be called “beginning” I suppose, even if it is an energy placed into a void, the “time” the energy appeared in the void would be called “the first time” the energy was placed in the void.

Thus we have the “True Universal Time” concept which I have developed , which was born out of the aforementioned truths.

“True Universal Time” consists of other physical elements and is fully based upon the laws of physics.

Time is a physical byproduct of energy and distance through space (but yet a requirement for energy and space to exist).

Read on, don’t scoff yet!

We know that Mass = Energy from Einsteins famous E=mc2 proofs, and we know that space exists for multiple reasons… mainly we know there is “space” for mass to exist because we ourselves are made of “mass” too , and since we are here inside of this “space” which mass inhabits.

We call this space which mass inhabits “the universe“.

We know the space of the universe is subject to mass. We know that “space” , even though it is an empty “void” , somehow bends around objects with great mass.

gravity-probe-b

How can “nothing” bend?

Obviously “space” and “void” aren’t exactly good terms to describe the Universe in which our mass inhabits.  Clearly space itself (the Universe which supplies space for our masses to reside) is actually physical in some way.

If space is empty, how can a large mass warp it?  People talk of Gravity causing the warping .. but never discuss WHAT IS WARPED?

They may say “space time” is warping.. but what is this “space time” made of ?  I’ll address this question further down.

I digress in the rhetorical question asking.

Einstein proved mass = energy…. if Mass = Energy then we can replace everything above where it says “mass” and interchange it with “energy”.

maxresdefault

Now we get to the actual “theory” portion which I will be presenting in detail at a later date via video…

What is this “time”, and what is it made of? How is it formed from Energy + Space?

“True Universal Time”, as I am understanding this concept, consists only of how “long” energy exists in space.

“True time” (for short) is = to Energy expended over a distance in space.

In an equation, it would appear simply at T = ED squared or T=ed2

This is my theory which I claim today publicly, not to be ripped by someone else.

Time = Energy over distance (squared). Or T=ED2

In the irony of ironies, I would like to point out Ted Theodore Logan now makes a lot more sense.   (just a coincidence I promise).

Time is equal to Energy over a distance.  Einsteins equations in relativity also back up my “theory” on this — as mass is accelerated to the speed of light, “time” begins to change.

Of course now we can understand that since Time=Energy X Distance — when mass passes through space “faster”,  that “time” can be altered based upon the speed in which mass is pushed to.

If we want to know the “real” time of the Universe, we can apply T=ED in reverse to determine (T)

DE=T … Distance X Energy = “Time” …

ET=D ….. Energy X “Time” = Distance

TD = E … Time X Distance = Energy

Because Time is = to Energy over a distance , thus a constant energy over a greater distance = a longer time.

I’ll break down the hard equations and proofs in a video (when I get them done).

But for now, I’ve got to get it out there in case something happens to me (by accident or otherwise).

Based upon these ideas, of course the possibility and talk of “time travel” comes into play. Can T=ED be tweaked or applied to this famous concept of traveling “through” time.

We can determine that IF time = Energy over Distance ….. would it then be possible to apply Distance and Energy in such a way as to influence “Time” around the energy we are sending across the distance.

Now I know why TED rides in a phone booth!

bill-ted-time-travel-hands-matrix-phone-booth

In all actuality, the way I’m now comprehending this, yes.. time travel could be possible — if Time is nothing more than energy over a distance, then you would need to apply energy to mass to accelerate your time.

Since we are talking about Universal time.. one would need to access the background universes “energy” in order to “travel” through this medium.

I’m assuming that the background Universal medium is electrical / plasmoid in nature. That the one constant in the “sea of Energy” is indeed electricity or close to it when trying to describe what it is that makes up all things in the “universe”.

If you were able to envelope yourself somehow inside a pure electrical field, independent of outside sources.. theoretically I suppose that the interior “space” would be protected, while the “outside” of the electrical field could be manipulated from the interior in order to allow for a “traveling” through time.

I also suppose that since there is a “time” for every mass in space at every point in the past, that IF you were “inside” energy, and IF you could apply a + and – charge to the electrical field.. that all you would need to do is apply a negative or positive electrical charge to move back and forward through time INSIDE this “mass” of energy.

LOL @ at that concept, but there it is!

To head off the conspiracy theorists, NO .. I’m not a time traveler from the future — at least not yet that is to say 😀

220px-TARDIS1

Cheers, and much love to all those who read this and understand — and please don’t scoff until I’ve presented the full breakdown for you to review.

This is just a teaser for the most part, and to prevent anyone from ripping me off.

How Essential Oils Can Help Improve Your Life

August 17, 2015
by Dr. Mercola

Scents can have a powerful influence on your well-being. Aromatherapy, which uses concentrated essences of various botanicals, allows you to harness the olfactory power of plants for healing on many levels.

Essential oils carry biologically active volatile compounds in a highly concentrated form that can provide therapeutic benefits in very small amounts.

Quality is of the essence here. First of all, what we’re talking about here is pure, therapeutic grade essential oils from plants, NOT synthetic fragrance oils or perfumes, which can be toxic and typically contain allergenic compounds.

But even among essential oils, the quality can vary widely and assessing the quality of any given brand can be difficult, as factors such as growing conditions and methods of harvesting, distillation, manufacture, and storage can all affect the final product.

The University of Minnesota1 offers some helpful guidance regarding international standard-setting agencies and considerations to take into account when looking for an essential oil.

One of the most important considerations is to look for a statement of purity. What you’re looking for is 100% essential oil (meaning it has not been diluted, altered, or mixed with anything else). Price can be a tipoff. If it’s really cheap, it’s probably a reflection of poor quality.

There are hundreds and many thousands of essential oils available if you factor in combinations. Each have their own potential benefits. The oils tend to work synergistically, and using a combination of oils often creates a more powerful effect than any one individual oil.

There are many ways to use essential oils for health and well-being, and the featured article2 lists no less than 25 ways to enjoy them. But first, let’s address the question of whether or not they actually have a biological effect, and if so, how.

Scents Can Alter Your Nervous System

When you inhale the fragrance of an essential oil, the aroma penetrates your bloodstream via your lungs,3 and this is thought to be one of the mechanisms by which aromatherapy exerts its physiological effects. Essential oils are also easily absorbed through your skin when applied topically.

The fragrance also affects the limbic system in your brain, which controls both memories and emotions. Many essential oils have antibacterial, antifungal, and/or antiviral qualities, and contrary to antibiotics, essential oils do not promote resistance.4

Modern scientists are not only finding compelling links between scents and human behavior,5 scents can actually influence the biochemistry of your nervous system.

This was shown in a 2002 Japanese study,6 which found that certain oils would stimulate sympathetic nervous system activity whereas others would calm it. (Your sympathetic nervous system modulates processes such as your heart rate, blood vessel constriction, and blood pressure.)

For example:

  • Black pepper, fennel, and grapefruit oil caused a 1.5- to 2.5-fold increase in sympathetic nervous system activity (as measured by an increase in systolic blood pressure)
  • Rose and patchouli oil resulted in a 40 percent decrease in sympathetic nervous system activity
  • Pepper oil induced a 1.7-fold increase in plasma adrenaline concentration
  • Rose oil caused adrenaline to drop by 30 percent

Lavender and Jasmine Help Uplift Your Mood

A Korean study7 found that lavender reduced both insomnia and depression in female college students.

Another study8 published in Phytomedicine in 2010 found that an orally administered lavender oil preparation (Silexan) was as effective as the drug Lorazepam for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. According to the authors:

“Since lavender oil showed no sedative effects in our study and has no potential for drug abuse, silexan appears to be an effective and well tolerated alternative to benzodiazepines for amelioration of generalized anxiety.”

Other research9 has concluded the essential oil of jasmine can also uplift mood and counteract symptoms of depression. The authors noted that:

“Compared with placebo, jasmine oil caused significant increases of breathing rate, blood oxygen saturation, and systolic and diastolic blood pressure, which indicated an increase of autonomic arousal.

At the emotional level, subjects in the jasmine oil group rated themselves as more alert, more vigorous, and less relaxed than subjects in the control group. This finding suggests an increase of subjective behavioral arousal.

In conclusion, our results demonstrated the stimulating/activating effect of jasmine oil and provide evidence for its use in aromatherapy for the relief of depression and uplifting mood in humans.”

How Terpenes in Essential Oils Benefit Your Health

An article in Healthy Holistic Living10 discusses some of the components giving essential oils their therapeutic benefits. For example, some essential oils have tremendous antioxidant capacities.

According to this article, one ounce of clove oil has an antioxidant capacity equivalent to 450 pounds of carrots. Essential oils also contain three different types of terpenes, each with its own set of benefits:

  • Phenylpropanoids have antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral activity. As noted in the article,11 “phenylpropanoids clean the receptor sites on the cells.

Without clean receptor sites, cells cannot communicate, and the body malfunctions, resulting in disease.” Oils that contain this type of terpene include: clove, cassia, basil, cinnamon, oregano, anise, and peppermint.

  • Monoterpenes, which are found in most essential oils, help “reprogram miswritten information in the cellular memory,” according to the featured article.
  • Sesquiterpenes help deliver oxygen to your tissues, which makes it more difficult for viruses, bacteria, and even cancer cells, to survive. Essential oils that contain sesquiterpenes include cedarwood, vetiver, spikenard, sandalwood, black pepper, patchouli, myrrh, ginger, and frankincense.

Essential Oils for Common Maladies

There are probably as many uses for aromatherapy as there are essential oils, but research shows particular promise in relieving stress, stabilizing your mood, improving sleep, pain and nausea relief, and improving your memory and energy level.

To give you an idea of the versatility of aromatherapy, the following table lists some of the therapeutic uses of several oils for a few of today’s most common complaints.12 As you can see, there are some real “multitaskers,” like lavender and peppermint, which can be used to treat more than one problem.13

Complaint Essential Oils
Stress Lavender, lemon, bergamot, peppermint, vetiver, pine, and ylang ylang
Insomnia Lavender,14 chamomile, jasmine, benzoin, neroli, rose, sandalwood, sweet marjoram, and ylang ylang (avoid lemon, which has an invigorating effect15)
Anxiety Lavender, bergamot, rose, clary sage, lemon, Roman chamomile, orange, sandalwood, rose-scented geranium, and pine16
Pain Lavender, chamomile, clary sage, juniper, eucalyptus, rosemary, peppermint, lavender, and green apple (especially for migraines)
Nausea and vomiting Mint, ginger, lemon, orange, ginger, dill, fennel, chamomile, clary sage, and lavender
Memory and attention Sage, peppermint,17 and cinnamon
Low energy Black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, angelica, jasmine, tea tree, rosemary, sage, and citrus

How to Use Essential Oils

Some of the most common ways to use essential oils include:

  • Massaging them (blended with a carrier oil) into your skin
  • Adding them to bathwater
  • Using them in a hot compress
  • Heating them in a diffuser
  • Rubbing a drop onto pulse points in lieu of perfume

But that’s really just the beginning. There are many creative uses for essential oils. Here’s a sampling of the 25 uses listed by the Epoch Times.18 For the full list, please see the original article.

Cleaning sprays and room deodorizers Making your own cleaning supplies and room deodorizers using essential oils is an excellent alternative to commercial products that may contain any number of hazardous chemicals. For example, for a homemade cleaning scrub with antibacterial activity, simply add a few drops of lavender or tea tree oil to baking soda.

Using a glass grated-cheese container with a stainless steel top that has holes in it makes it easy to sprinkle the baking soda on the surfaces. In lieu of commercial room deodorizers, you can either use an aromatherapy diffuser, or add a few drops of your favorite essential oil to water in a spray bottle.

Freshen laundry Dryer sheets are notoriously toxic, emitting more than 600 volatile organic compounds (VOCs) through your dryer vent. You can easily freshen your laundry without risking your family’s health simply by spritzing your wet laundry with a mix of water and a few drops of essential oil before placing it in the dryer. Alternatively, add a dozen or so drops to an old wool sock, and put it in the dryer with your laundry.
Therapeutic steam baths To deep clean pores, add a few drops of lavender or eucalyptus to hot water in your sink, then lean over it with a towel draped over your head to capture the steam. This will also help unclog your sinuses if you have a cold. Alternatively, close the drain in your shower and add some eucalyptus essential oils to the pooled water on the floor of the tub to create a soothing steam.
Customized lotions and soap Synthetic fragrances are a source of allergies, but you can easily customize your own soaps and lotions by adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil to an unscented brand.
Combat pimples Tea tree oil, which has potent antibacterial activity, can help dry out pimples.
Facial toner Make your own facial toner by adding a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil to distilled water in a misting bottle.
Insect repellents Cotton balls soaked in peppermint oil is said to deter insects and rodents. The following essential oils also make excellent bug repellents in lieu of DEET and other chemical repellents:

  • Cinnamon leaf oil (one study found it was more effective at killing mosquitoes than DEET19)
  • Clear liquid vanilla extract20 mixed with olive oil
  • Wash with citronella soap, and then put some 100 percent pure citronella essential oil mixed with a carrier oil on your skin. Java Citronella is considered the highest quality citronella on the market
  • Catnip oil (according to one study, this oil is 10 times more effective than DEET)21
  • Lemon eucalyptus was found very effective in a 2014 Australian study;22 a mixture of 32 percent lemon eucalyptus oil provided more than 95 percent protection for three hours, compared to a 40 percent DEET repellent that gave 100 percent protection for seven hours

Resources

Aromatherapy can be a beneficial adjunct to your overall health plan. It’s not a replacement for wise lifestyle choices like good nutrition and exercise, but it can certainly help enhance your physical and emotional health. Aromatherapy is one more tool you can keep in your tool bag for managing everyday stress, balancing out mood swings and improving your sleep for example.

Essential oils are also a great addition to many of your homemade beauty and cleaning products, adding both scent and antibacterial qualities. Whether you seek out a trained aromatherapist or adopt a DIY approach, the following are a few resources you might find useful.

TIps on Using Peels, Leaves, etc.

Seeds, Shells and Skins: Can I Eat Them?

For many middle-class families, choosing to eat well is a financial decision as well as a health decision. When fast-food chains offer 99-cents meals and buying produce for a home-cooked meal can cost a lot more than one dollar, convenience and cost make fast food a colossal temptation. So how can you get the most out of your produce? Well, one way is to use all of the plant, instead of letting it rot or throwing a lot of it out. It may surprise you to discover that most seeds, skins and greens inside and surrounding a plant are actually edible. Here we will show you how to stop throwing money down the drain and maximize the potential of your produce.

Peels

How often do you throw away the peel of your oranges after eating the fruit? Did you know that you can use the zest to sweeten curries, salads and muffins? The same is true with lemons and limes. Lemon zest is great for adding a fruity acidity to meals and for heightening flavors. Lime zest is especially good in Latin cuisine. You can even make candied fruit peels by taking a lemon, lime or orange peel and boiling it in water with organic cane or coconut sugar.Skins

Most people know that you can eat apple or pear skins, but what else can you eat? Peach, pineapple and apricot skins are high in vitamin C and are safe for regular consumption. Watermelon rind is also really good for you. It’s very tart, but contains high amounts of the amino acid citrulline, which can boost blood flow, reduce blood pressure and promote overall cardiovascular health. Mango skins should also not be tossed out. They are high in antioxidants and phytochemicals. Peanut skins are also high in antioxidants and can improve cardiovascular health. Vegetable skins that pack a punch of nutrition include sweet potato skins, yellow squash skins and zucchini skins.

Seeds

Pineapple seeds are relatively small and can be eaten. When making a smoothie, many people will spit out the blackberry seeds. Resist the urge and you’ll reap the benefits from omega-3 fatty acids, protein, fiber, carotenoids and antioxidants. Watermelon seeds are also high in nutrients, including zinc, fiber, vitamin B, beta carotene, lycopene, iron, protein, phosphorus, potassium and unsaturated fats. Cantaloupe seeds have been enjoyed as a healthy snack in Iran and China for centuries. They are high in calcium, potassium, magnesium, iron, copper, zinc, phosphorus, manganese, and vitamins A, B6, B12, D, E and K. Next time you roast pumpkin or spaghetti squash, save the seeds and toast them later.

Shells

Kids that are raised to eat healthily often enjoy picking peas from their pods, but did you know you can actually eat the pods? Snap peas and snow peas are both podded legumes that can be eaten whole. Broad beans and their pods can also be eaten whole. Almonds are another plant-based protein that can be eaten whole. When almonds are green and covered in fur, you can eat the whole thing, including the shell. Another protein that you can eat whole is the hemp seed. You can buy them shelled for a softer, nutty texture, or enjoy them whole and reap the benefits of the added crunch and fiber.

Greens

orange skin When people think of leafy greens, they typically think of the conventional lettuces available in the supermarket. Little do they know how many nutritionally-dense greens they are throwing away. The tops of carrots, sweet potatoes, celery and leeks are packed with vitamins and minerals.

You can easily save money by making a salad with these or adding them to a stew. Leek leaves help prevent oxidative damage to our cells. Carrot tops are high in vitamins A, B6, C and K and are loaded with minerals as well. Sweet potato greens are harder to come by in a grocery store, but if you grow sweet potatoes, eat the greens too.

Squash leaves are also often neglected. Celery greens are perhaps the easiest to incorporate if you love celery. That’s because the greens actually taste like celery too!

Stalks

On the flip side, many people will only use the greens on the ends of some foods and throw away the stalk. Parsley and cilantro are delicious greens that are used in many Latin and Mediterranean dishes. Unfortunately, the stalks are often thrown out when they also contain the same nutrients and flavors as the leaves. Broccoli and cauliflower are other examples.

People love the florets but are less enthusiastic about the stalks, which contain the same vitamins and minerals as the florets. If you don’t like the texture, soften them up by boiling them, steaming them or adding them to a soup or stew.

Wasting food is wasting money. Thinking outside the box can help you find new ways to get the most out of your food so you can save money and live better. What are some ways you have thought outside the box when preparing produce? Share your ideas below.

Tips for Dealing with Negativity

there is a lot of negative stuff out there these days, much generated by the overall atmosphere of fear that is being put forth in the media, so here are a few suggestions from Deepak Chopra on how to tackle this energy:

Deepak Chopra: Dealing With Negativity

Deepak Chopra: Dealing With Negativity

by Deepak Chopra

There are a number of different techniques to deal with negativity. It takes time before you find the right response to suit a specific situation. The more patient you are with yourself, the better. One day you may need tears, the next day it’s a matter of patiently waiting or talking to your inner self. Here are some methods of dealing with negativity to add to your repertoire:

Patient waiting. Notice your negative reaction and watch it for a moment. Be attentive to your feelings as they are, without judging or forcing them to change. This response is quiet, but it isn’t passive. You are removing the shock value of the moment, softening the feeling so that you don’t act on it impulsively or push it away. You are letting it dissipate naturally, at its own pace. You are also practicing detachment.

Talk out the problem. Any negative experience in the mind is part of yourself. It’s neither alien nor evil. Try talking to your fear or hostility. Ask to know what it means. Find out why it chose to show itself at this particular moment.

Ask the underlying energy to leave. Not all negativity wants to stick around. We are all aware of passing moods and sudden flashes of emotion that soon subside. Ask the negative energy to leave, but first give it a chance to say what it has to say.

Summon help and assistance. Your mind has countless levels. At higher levels, you possess much more control and authority than you realize. Learning to trust in aspects of your higher self that you can’t see is important. Ask for help in removing unwanted negative energy. Some people address their angels and guides; others pray to God; still others make a request to the higher self directly. Depending on your own beliefs, don’t hesitate to say that you are feeling overwhelmed and need help.

Physical responses. Turn to the wisdom of the body. Although the mind always wants to rush in and take charge, life is a cooperative venture between mind and body. As some body workers like to say, there are issues in the tissues. So let your body do what it wants in order to release the grip of a negative experience. This can be physical, or even toning, which means humming or singing at certain pitch and then letting the body carry the tone up or down.

Serrapeptase & Your Health

Serrapeptase: an Enzyme That Treats Inflammation, Arthritis, Scar Tissue and More

Serrapeptase an Enzyme You Should Not Be Without

14th August 2015

By Dr. Michelle Kmiec

Contributing Writer for Wake Up World

The use of enzymes therapeutically is not a new concept, and has been widely accepted for its healing properties in both traditional and modern medicine.

Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme, which means that it breaks down protein into smaller components (peptides and amino acids) that the body can re-use. It is derived from the digestive system of the silk worm, which regurgitates serrapeptase to break free from its cocoon.

Scientists in India first began to research the enzyme to see how it could be used therapeutically in the human body. From the start, they were astonished to realize that serrapeptase is a very powerful anti-fibrotic enzyme, with applications for the treatment of  inflammation, arthritis, scar tissue and much more.

What Does Serrapeptase Do?

Realizing that serrapeptase is anti-fibrotic was an interesting discovery because many health conditions are the result of abnormal thickening or scarring of fibrous connective tissue, a condition known as fibrosis.

Fibrosis is any disease where excess fibrous growth is present. This includes a wide range of conditions and health issues, including the following:

  • Plaquing of the arterial walls (atherosclerosis)
  • Fibrocystic breasts
  • Uterine fibroid tumors
  • Scarring after injury
  • Scarring after surgery
  • Cystic Fibrosis; affecting the exocrine glands (secreting glands; mucus, hormones, etc.) of the lungs, liver, pancreas, and intestines.
  • Blood clots; due to the fibrin in blood

The action of serrapeptase doesn’t stop there. It is an effective enzyme against inflammation in all its forms. In other words, inflammation of the joints, the digestive system as well as other organs.

This is because serrapeptase breaks down the dead tissues and excess fibrin, thus eliminating the body’s defense mechanism which is known as inflammation. The body is then able to clean out the burdensome dead tissues and fibrin growths, allowing for the healing process to begin more effectively.

Inflammatory health conditions that serrapeptase is effective against are:

  • Ulcerative Colitis
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

Serrapeptase, by helping the body eliminate dead tissues and fibrin growths, is extremely beneficial to those suffering from autoimmune disorders such as:

  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Psoriasis
  • Allergies
  • Cancer

Serrapeptase in these cases, not only breaks down the dead fibrin tissues, but also serve as a healthy alternative to NSAIDS (aspirin, ibuprofen), and powerful steroids that are sometimes used for pain control.

Conditions That Have Been Helped by Serrapeptase

  • Pain (of all kinds)
  • Arthritis
  • Arterial plaque
  • Headaches caused by inflammation
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Lupus
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Psoriasis
  • Emphysema
  • Bronchitis
  • Pulmonary Tuberculosis
  • Asthma
  • Sinusitis
  • Eye conditions caused by inflammation
  • Injuries and trauma
  • Post operative scarring
  • Inflammatory bowels diseases
  • Cystitis
  • Fibroid tumors
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Fibrocystic diseases
  • Varicose Veins
  • Cardiovascular diseases
  • Subclinical chronic inflammation; premature aging

Dosages

Regarding the conversion of mg and IU for serrapeptase, the answer is not that easy. There appears to be a different standard of conversion depending on what company you choose to buy from. There is some research that has used the ratio of mg of serrapeptase which equals 20,000 units of activity, however not exclusively.

There has also been research done with 200 mg or 20,000 IU.

With this in mind, it would be best to not try to compare the two, but rather stick to one measurement or another.

The dosage varies depending on the condition you are trying to address or if you are simply using the enzyme for maintenance purposes.

Dosages range from:

  • 30 mg – 1000 mg
  • 10,000 IU – 100, 000 IU

In either case, taking 1 – 2 per day is typical for maintenance or for minor ailments. The therapeutic dosage can be as high as taking the max dosage (either 1000 mg or 100,000 IU. Keep in mind that this does not mean that they are equivalent) for up to 30 pills per day for the lower potency and dosages taken 1 -2 times per day for the higher range.

There doses seem to be the concern regarding the “blood thinning” properties of serrapeptase, so let’s clarify what is really meant by blood thinners.

Technically, the blood cannot get “thin”. What happens when you take something that acts to “thin the blood”, like an Aspirin or something stronger such as Coumadin, is that the blood becomes less sticky, so the blood can then flow more freely. The blood itself has not changed, but rather the mechanism that allows (or disallows) for free flow has. This is a subtle concept, but an important one.

There are many things that can impede blood flow such as:

  • Platelets sticking together
  • Clotting
  • Plaquing
  • Inflammation

With the use of serrapeptase, any of the above can be remedied and the research has proven it. However, the question is…will serrapeptase interfere with a drug therapy being used to “thin the blood”?

There appears to be no concerns with taking serrapeptase at the lower dosages. The really cool thing about this enzyme is that whether you take lower doses or higher doses, you will ultimately achieve the same effect. One just takes a bit longer than the other.

If you are concerned regarding any interactions, please consult a knowledgeable doctor. I say knowledgeable because this enzyme has a great deal of research supporting it, so if your current doctor dismisses the idea of trying serrapeptase, he/she is giving an opinion without having read the research. If that is the case, please seek out a healthcare professional who is open to all methods of healing — especially non-pharmaceutical methods that have been shown to be effective for your overall health!

Remember, there is only one you… it is your right to be in control of your health!

On Proper Breathing

What is Your Quality of Breath — Did You Know You Could Be Starving Your Body of Oxygen?

Written by August 13, 2015

Lavender Field by Cherie Roe Dirksen header

Taking Breathing For Granted

Breath — it is the first thing we do when we experience this life and the last thing we do when we make our grand exit.  As physical beings, it is our life – we cannot function without it.  And yet we take it so for granted.

“Did you know that your quality of breath can determine your quality of life?”

In meditation, it is our bridge between the noise of our minds and the accessible silence.  It can be our pathway to stillness and present moment awareness.

Did you know that your quality of breath can determine your quality of life?

Breathing correctly boosts the brain (it has even been shown to spark brain growth — especially in the elderly), invigorates the body and helps us to find clarity (especially when we find ourselves under stress or anxiety).

Controlled breathing can even lower blood pressure and heart rate.

Did you know that:

  • Oxygen is important to blood cells because oxygen is needed to make energy for our body.
  • You don’t get blood cell oxygenation from food — you breathe in O2 and it is picked up by the red blood cells in the lungs and taken through the body to all the cells via hemoglobin.

But Don’t We Breathe Naturally?

Most of us are on auto-pilot with our breaths — they are shallow and we don’t usually pay much attention to the inhalation/exhalation process.

Be honest with yourself — how often do you take a deep, belly-filled breath?

I know you’ve just done it now 😉 But think about it — it’s not that often, right?

Try to consciously breathe, even if it is every hour.  As mentioned above, deep breathing will help your body by infusing your cells with oxygen, bringing vitality and balance to your system.

Shallow breathing restricts oxygen to the brain causing fatigue and lethargy so — whenever you can — put your attention on your breath.

Try this exercise:

Breathe in to the count of eight – really fill your lungs and let your stomach expand to the extent that you look pregnant.  Hold that breath to the count of eight and then release it slowly to the count of eight.

Do this 3 times as many times a day as you can, especially in the morning, when you awaken, and just before sleep.

It will give you an added kick to the day and induce restful sleep at night.

Using Mindful Breathing to Begin Therapeutic Meditation

To those of you who are old-hat with meditating — you can skip this part. For those who are new to meditation and want to try it out…it may benefit you to read on.

When you engage in mindful breathing (find somewhere quiet to sit or lie down, close your eyes and put your attention on inhalation and exhalation) you form a bridge to the ‘still’ place in your mind.

With time and practice, you will be able to cross that bridge a little easier every time you engage in meditation and breathwork.

Don’t judge yourself or get upset if your mind just won’t shut up – this is normal and takes a lot of practice to get to the point where you can achieve full stillness without all the fluff and ‘white noise’.

Sometimes my mind just won’t let go of a song or tune when I am trying to meditate (especially when it thinks it’s being funny and starts up with ‘The Sounds of Silence’) and I just let that be – it usually dissipates in the end.  Just persist with the mindful breathing and go with the flow of where your consciousness wants to take you.

“This is the journey into the mind and it can be a wonderfully calming experience…”

Mindful breathing techniques in meditation can be really awesome as you begin to sense the vibrations and different frequencies in the ether and all around you.  It might come in the form of flashing or bright coloured lights or a vortex or wormhole.  Sometimes it just remains dark or ‘spotty’ – a bit like the night sky.

Stay with this and see where it takes you.  This is the journey into the mind and it can be a wonderfully calming experience.

Enjoy using your nasal passages and lungs to enliven and revitalize your body and soothe your soul!

DNA Changes

SCIENTIFIC PROOF! Our DNA Is Changing!

by Gregg Prescott, M.S.
Editor, In5D.com

Imagine being able to activate your dormant, “junk” DNA?  In recent news, scientists and geneticists have discovered three and four strand DNA in human cells while some geneticists believe we may soon evolve to a 12 strand DNA.

To those who may dismiss this theory, and article entitled, “Spontaneous Evolution Has Arrived!“, a child was recently born with a 3 strand DNA in England.

Brave toddler Alfie Clamp stuns doctors after being born with extra strand of DNA

A British toddler has become the first person in the world to be born with an extra strand in his DNA, in a condition so rare doctors don’t even know its name.

Alfie Clamp, from Warwickshire, northern England, has a seventh chromosome which has an extra arm.

We are taking an evolutionary leap

Dr. Berrenda Fox is a holistic practitioner of the Avalon Wellness Centre in Mt Shasta, California.  In an interview with Patricia Resch, Dr. Fox stated the following:

PR: What are the changes that are happening at this time on the planet, and how are our bodies being affected?

BF: There are major changes, mutations that haven’t occurred, according to geneticists, since the time we supposedly came out of the water. Several years ago in Mexico City there was a convention of geneticists from around the world, and the main topic was the DNA change. We are making an evolutionary change, yet we don’t know what we are changing into.

PR: How is our DNA changing?

BF: Everyone has one double helix of DNA. What we are finding is that there are other helixes that are being formed. In the double helix there are two strands of DNA coiled into a spiral. It is my understanding that we will be developing twelve helixes. During this time, which seems to have started maybe 5 to 20 years ago, we have been mutating. This is the scientific explanation. It is a mutation of our species into something for which the end result is not yet known.

The changes are not known publicly, because the scientific community feels it would frighten the population. However, people are changing at the cellular level. I am working with three children right now who have three DNA helixes. Most people know and feel this. Many religions have talked about the change and know it will come about in different ways. We know it is a positive mutation even though physically, mentally, and emotionally it can be misunderstood and frightening.

PR: Are these children displaying any characteristics different from other children?

BF: These are children who can move objects across the room just by concentrating on them, or they can fill glasses of water just by looking at them. They’re telepathic. You would almost think by knowing these children that they are half angelic or superhuman, but they’re not. I think they are what we are growing into during the next few decades.

PR: Do you think this will happen to all of us?

BF: It seems like most people who were born before 1940 have not been able to make the shift, but have initiated something into the next generation that gives them the capacity to form another helix within our lifetime. Our immune and endocrine systems are the most evident of these changes. That is one of the reasons I work with research in immunological testing and therapy.

Some adults that I have tested actually do have another DNA helix forming. Some are even getting their third. These people are going through a lot of major shifts in their consciousness and physical bodies, because it is all one. In my opinion, the Earth and everyone here is raising its vibration. Many of the children born recently have bodies that are magnetically lighter.

PR: What other changes should we expect to see?

BF: There will be no disease, we will not need to die. We will be able to learn our lessons, not through suffering, but through joy and love. The old system has to crumble away, and is not doing that without putting up a big fight. So you have all the wars; a lot of the medical-type of healing is not working; the government is not working.

Biophotons and DNA

The eyes are precisely where the solar radiation that feeds life enters the body.
Johan Boswinkel

Dr. Fritz Albert Popp’s research confirmed the existence of biophotons, which are particles of light, with no mass, that transmit information within and between cells.  Dr. Popp discovered that the coherent emission of bio-photons is connected to energy and information transfer processes in the biological organisms, and has been linked to the function of DNA and to gene regulation.

In simpler terms, our bodies not only emit light, but they also store light within our DNA.

A living cell requires energy not only for all its functions, but also for the maintenance of its structure. Without energy, life would be extinguished instantaneously, and the cellular fabric would collapse. The source of this energy is the sun’s radiation.
Nobel Peace Prize recipient and Hungarian biochemist Albert von Szent-Györgyi

Four strand DNA reported by mainstream media

In a science article on NBC, ” researchers have found four-stranded DNA is also lurking in human cells. The odd structures are called G-quadruplexes because they form in regions of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) that are full of guanine, one of the DNA molecule’s four building blocks, with the others being adenine, cytosine, thymine. The structure comprises four guanines held together by a type of hydrogen bonding to form a sort of squarelike shape. (The DNA molecule is itself a double strand held together by these building blocks and wrapped together like a helix.)”

Abstract: Quantitative visualization of DNA G-quadruplex structures in human cells

“The study showed that if an inhibitor is used to block DNA replication, quadruplex levels go down – proving the idea that DNA is dynamic, with structures constantly being formed and unformed.”

Is it possible that vaccinations, chemtrails and GMO’s have been acting as DNA inhibitors up until this point in time?

Reprogramming your DNA through words and frequencies

Dr. Peter Gariaev’s research into DNA concluded that DNA may be the universal language of spirituality, adding “wave genetics” shows that DNA functions like a holographic computer, part of the larger hologram of the information wave reality.  Our DNA has the capabilities of hypercommunication—telepathy, remote sensing and remote feeling, along with other psychic abilities.  We also have the ability to reprogram our genetic blueprint with simple word and frequencies.

How can we change our DNA right now?

Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research has concluded that water has consciousness.  Based on this premise, I have decided to experiment with water, Ho’oponopono, sigils and positive affirmations.

In February of 2012, I started drinking distilled water as recommended by Andrew Norton Webber.

I also drastically changed my eating habits from your typical processed food, GMO-ladened diet to virtually all organic, including grass fed meat, fresh squeezed juices and homemade smoothies. Initially, I noticed an immediate change in my complexion as well as energy levels but after 7 months or so, I also noticed that I was losing my hair and wondered if that was attributed to drinking distilled water, so I stopped doing this but soon found something even more amazing.

After researching the benefits of ozone water, I decided to buy an ozone generator to infuse my water with extra oxygen. In addition, as per Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research into the consciousness of water, I added affirmations and Ho’oponopono.

Ho’oponopono is the Hawaiian Code of Forgiveness that follows 4 simple mantras:

  1. I love you.
  2. I’m sorry.
  3. Please forgive me.
  4. Thank you.

Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research show us that water has consciousness, so I combined Ho’oponopono with positive self-affirmations.

My affirmations are:

  1. My pineal gland is fully open.
  2. My chakras are clear and balanced.
  3. My DNA codes are fully open to allow me to help myself and others in the best interests of humanity.

I decided to take this one step further after researching the power of sigils. A sigil is an inscribed or painted symbol considered by many to have magical powers.

Many corporate logos use symbols as a way to subconsciously influence us. A perfect example would be the Shell logo, which innocently looks like a shell, but it actually represents the sun and sun-worshipping, which preexisted before many religious belief systems.

Exxon uses symbols and sigils as a way to represent Saturn. In astrotheology, Saturn is Satan. Did you ever wonder why we exchange rings during wedding ceremonies? The rings represent the rings of Saturn (Satan). Look no further than the pre-Christian Chritmas-time celebration of Saturnalia, which was a week of debauchery and drunkenness.

In this world of polarity and duality, the same practices can be done with pure intent.

I decided to make a sigil glass that contained all of my affirmations. This is what it looks like:

I buy 5 gallon jugs of BPA free spring water from Zephyrhills and dispense it from a water cooler. Even my dog drinks this water! I have an ozone machine by the water dispenser.

The particular ozone machine that I use is a A2Z Ozone Aqua 6 Multi Purpose Ozone Generator because it gives me the biggest bang for the buck with a 600 mg/h ozone output.

After pouring water into my sigil glass, I speak my affirmations to the water, then I apply Ho’oponopono. I finish by saying, “Please send these messages to every cell in my body. Namaste.

It is important to keep in mind that the ozone leaves the water relatively quickly, so your best bet is to drink it as quickly as possible.  Some reports say that it only lasts up to an hour or two before dissipating.

High pitched frequencies and DNA

Many people are hearing high pitched frequencies that are not associated with tinnitus or a Vitamin D deficiency and some people believe these have something to do with a DNA upgrade.

In an In5D poll on the article, Do you hear perpetual high pitched frequencies? You’re not alone!, 97.8 people who responded confirmed hearing high pitched frequencies.  Is there a spiritual reason for these frequencies and/or is it possible that they are helping to evolve our DNA?

As a musician, it’s easy for me to figure out what tones I hear, which are predominantly in the key of B, but also in F# and C.  What sounds do you hear, if any?

We are beings of LIGHT

Science has proven that our DNA is evolving.  In order to keep the status quo, is it possible that our vaccinations are working as inhibitors to deter this process?  Despit the vaccinations, GMO’s and chemtrails, is it possible that our DNA will continue to evolve into a form of higher consciousness?

Only time will tell…

We know today that man, essentially, is a being of light. And the modern science of  photobiology is presently proving this.  In terms of healing the implications are immense.  We now know, for example, that quanta of light can initiate, or arrest, cascade-like reactions in the cells, and that genetic cellular damage can be virtually repaired, within hours, by faint beams of light.

We are still on the threshold of fully understanding the complex relationship between light and life, but we can now say emphatically, that the function of our entire metabolism is dependent on light.”
