Meteor CHower 5/24 fr/Comet Linear

RONIC COMET LINEAR: On May 24th, the heavens could put on a display of irony. Forecasters say Earth will cross a stream of debris from Comet 209P/LINEAR, and the encounter could trigger a bright new meteor shower. The ironic thing is, the comet is so faint:

Aaron Kingery of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office took the picture on May 18th using a 0.5 meter telescope at the Marshall Space Flight Center. “209P is not a very photogenic comet,” says Kingery. “This is the best I could do with a 60-second exposure.”

How could such a dim comet produce a bright meteor shower? In 2014, 209P is producing very little dust. However, the debris Earth is about to encounter didn’t come from 2014. It was shed by the comet mainly in the 19th and 20th centuries. In those days, forecasters hope, the comet was more active.

El Nino 2014?

El Niño: Is 2014 the new 1997?

May 19, 2014:  Every ten days, the NASA/French Space Agency Jason-2 satellite maps all the world’s oceans, monitoring changes in sea surface height, a measure of heat in the upper layers of the water.   Because our planet is more than 70% ocean, this information is crucial to global forecasts of weather and climate.

Lately, Jason-2 has seen something brewing in the Pacific—and it looks a lot like 1997.

“A pattern of sea surface heights and temperatures has formed that reminds me of the way the Pacific looked in the spring of 1997,” says Bill Patzert, a climatologist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. “That turned out to be the precursor of a big El Niño.”

splash

A new ScienceCast video examines the evidence that an El Niño is developing in the Pacific.  Play it

“We can’t yet say for sure that an El Niño will develop in 2014, or how big it might be,” cautions Mike McPhaden of NOAA’s Pacific Environmental Research Laboratories in Seattle, “but the Jason-2 data support the El Niño Watch issued last month by NOAA.”

What Jason-2 has been seeing is a series of “Kelvin waves”—massive ripples in sea level that travel across the Pacific from Australia to South America.  Forecasters are paying close attention because these waves could be a herald of El Niño.

The two phenomena, Kelvin waves and El Niño, are linked by wind. Pacific trade winds blow from east to west, pushing sun-warmed surface waters toward Indonesia.  As a result, the sea level near Indonesia is normally 45 cm higher than it is near Ecuador.  Researchers call that area the “warm pool”—it is the largest reservoir of warm water on our planet.

Sometimes, however, trade winds falter for a few days or weeks, and some of that excess sea level   ripples back toward the Americas. “That’s a Kelvin wave,” says McPhaden. “It’s not unusual to see a couple every winter.”

El Niño happens when trade winds falter not just for days, but for many months. Then Kelvin waves    cross the Pacific like a caravan, raising sea level and leaving warmer equatorial waters in their wake.

On May 8th, the National Centers for Environmental Prediction forecasted a 65% chance of El Niño developing during the summer of 2014. More

“The El Niño of 1997/98 was a textbook example,” recalls Patzert. “At that time we were getting data from TOPEX/Poseidon, a predecessor of Jason-2.  Sea surface maps showed a whitish bump, indicating a sea level some 10 centimeters higher than usual, moving along the equator from Australia to South America.”

“The same pattern is repeating in 2014,” says McPhaden. “A series of Kelvin waves generated by localized west wind bursts in the western Pacific that began in mid-January 2014 are headed east. Excitement is building as a third weakening of the Pacific trade winds happened in mid-April.”

Ocean and atmospheric scientists at NOAA and NASA are carefully monitoring the Pacific trade winds. The tipping point for declaring a significant El Niño will be an even longer lasting, larger collapse in Pacific trade winds, possibly signaling a shift in weather all around our planet.

“It will become much clearer over the next two to three months whether these recent developments are the forerunner of a major El Niño—or any El Niño at all,” says McPhaden.

Updated on May 18, 2014: I added 5 more photos and news changed the UFO number. They now say 8 UFOs fell over China, 5 more than they reported on 1st day.

Hey everyone, this just hit China news a few hours ago. Three UFOs fell from the sky to land in two different provinces in China. People got a few photos, but then China Government people appeared really fast and stop them and made all the people leave. This looks like part of the UFO that hit the Russian Rocket just hours earlier. I told you in the report earlier it looks like an orb UFO hit the rocket, but they found three of them! They are in the hands of the Chinese now. O_o  Check out the video at bottom of this post. SCW

Taiwan Yahoo News states: (translated from Chinese)
Three UFOs crashed in Heilongjiang cited arguments
( CNA Taipei 16 (Xinhua) ) CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee Propaganda Department confirmed Yian, that three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) fell from the sky today,  and has plunged into Yian and Baiquan municipal territory under Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province.

WASHINGTON reported,  according to the Committee Propaganda Department Yian noted Yian SHUANGYANG Meng Chang Village villagers heard this morning a huge piercing sound, after that some villagers witnessed a large fireball crossing the sky,  falling within the farmers home vegetable garden.

Subsequently, the villagers photographed the UFO. According to photos, such as a round metal UFO peripheral package has jagged circle edges, and looked like a monks hat or cap on in Mongolia.
Reports as of now,  Baiquan Qiqihar,  Heilongjiang Province, also found that two UFOs crashed together,  shaped like the first object. At the place that they fell, the UFOs have been blocked by authorities. Relevant personnel came to the scene, measuring and researching it.

This news immediately became a hot topic in website “Mainland Friends.”  Friends saw the photo that this is possibly an alien probe, satellite or space debris; Some people joked that it was ” Which country is spying on neighboring China?” There are people that said this is space junk; also people believe that this is a Russian rocket launch failure that happened this morning.

However, in the end these three UFOs are still under official investigation. (Which means the China govt has sealed these files and UFOs away-SCW).

GAIA is ALIVE

The Earth is a Sentient Living Organism

https://i2.wp.com/themindunleashed.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/the-earthhh.jpg?w=584

Contrary to the common belief that the Earth is simply a dense planet whose only function is a resource for its inhabitants, our planet is in fact a breathing, living organism. When we think of the Earth holistically, as one living entity of its own, instead of the sum of its parts, it takes on a new meaning. Our planet functions as a single organism that maintains conditions necessary for its survival.

James Lovelock published in a book in 1979 providing many useful lessons about the interaction of physical, chemical, geological, and biological processes on Earth.

Throughout history, the concept of Mother Earth has been a part of human culture in one form or another. Everybody has heard of Mother Earth, but have you ever stopped to think who (or what) Mother Earth is?

What is Gaia?

Lovelock defined Gaia as “…a complex entity involving the Earth’s biosphere, atmosphere, oceans, and soil; the totality constituting a feedback or cybernetic system which seeks an optimal physical and chemical environment for life on this planet.”

Through Gaia, the Earth sustains a kind of homeostasis, the maintenance of relatively constant conditions.

The truly startling component of the Gaia hypothesis is the idea that the Earth is a single living entity. This idea is certainly not new. James Hutton (1726-1797), the father of geology, once described the Earth as a kind of superorganism. And right before Lovelock, Lewis Thomas, a medical doctor and skilled writer, penned these words in his famous collection of essays, The Lives of a Cell:

“Viewed from the distance of the moon, the astonishing thing about the earth, catching the breath, is that it is alive. The photographs show the dry, pounded surface of the moon in the foreground, dry as an old bone. Aloft, floating free beneath the moist, gleaming, membrane of bright blue sky, is the rising earth, the only exuberant thing in this part of the cosmos. If you could look long enough, you would see the swirling of the great drifts of white cloud, covering and uncovering the half-hidden masses of land. If you had been looking for a very long, geologic time, you could have seen the continents themselves in motion, drifting apart on their crustal plates, held afloat by the fire beneath. It has the organized, self-contained look of a live creature, full of information, marvelously skilled in handling the sun.”

John Nelson illustrated the Breathing Earth,” (below) which are two animated GIFs he designed to visualize what a year’s worth of Earth’s seasonal transformations look like from outer space. Nelson–a data visualizer, stitched together from NASA’s website 12 cloud-free satellite photographs taken each month over the course of a year. Once the images were put together in a sequence, the mesmerizing animations showed what Nelson describes as “the annual pulse of vegetation and land ice.”

BreathingEarth1-3b

As the climate changes, the planet comes alive. Earth appears to breathe when ice cover grows and melts–in and out, in and out.

White frost radiates out from the top of the globe and creeps south in all directions. It travels through Siberia, Canada, and northern Europe, heading towards the equator located around the circle’s edge, but ends before the top of Africa. The Mediterranean Sea is the visible body of water on the top left hand side, and the Great Lakes make up a small network of dark blue shapes on the land mass to the right.

The Earth acts as a single system – it is a coherent, self-regulated, assemblage of physical, chemical, geological, and biological forces that interact to maintain a unified whole balanced between the input of energy from the sun and the thermal sink of energy into space.

In its most basic configuration, the Earth acts to regulate flows of energy and recycling of materials. The input of energy from the sun occurs at a constant rate and for all practical purposes is unlimited. This energy is captured by the Earth as heat or photosynthetic processes, and returned to space as long-wave radiation. On the other hand, the mass of the Earth, its material possessions, are limited (except for the occasional input of mass provided as meteors strike the planet). Thus, while energy flows through the Earth (sun to Earth to space), matter cycles within the Earth.

The idea of the Earth acting as a single system as put forth in the Gaia hypothesis has stimulated a new awareness of the connectedness of all things on our planet and the impact that man has on global processes. No longer can we think of separate components or parts of the Earth as distinct. No longer can we think of man’s actions in one part of the planet as independent. Everything that happens on the planet – the deforestation/reforestation of trees, the increase/decrease of emissions of carbon dioxide, the removal or planting of croplands – all have an affect on our planet. The most difficult part of this idea is how to qualify these effects, i.e. to determine whether these effects are positive or negative. If the Earth is indeed self-regulating, then it will adjust to the impacts of man. However, as we will see, these adjustments may act to exclude man, much as the introduction of oxygen into the atmosphere by photosynthetic bacteria acted to exclude anaerobic bacteria. This is the crux of the Gaia hypothesis.

One of the early predictions of this hypothesis was that there should be a sulfur compound made by organisms in the oceans that was stable enough against oxidation in water to allow its transfer to the air. Either the sulfur compound itself, or its atmospheric oxidation product, would have to return sulfur from the sea to the land surfaces. The most likely candidate for this role was deemed to be dimethyl sulfide.

Published work done at the University of Maryland by first author Harry Oduro, together with UMD geochemist James Farquhar and marine biologist Kathryn Van Alstyne of Western Washington University, provides a tool for tracing and measuring the movement of sulfur through ocean organisms, the atmosphere and the land in ways that may help prove or disprove the controversial Gaia theory. Their study appears in this week’s Online Early Edition of the  (PNAS).

The Story of Water by Alick Bartholomew, is another unique publication in that it reflects the author’s deep knowledge of the principles of whole geophysical systems, which helps us understand the Earth as an integrated Gaia system that sustains us. The book begins by describing our usual view of water based on Western science and then deftly moves on to the frontier sciences that embrace water as the source of life in terms of biological systems, quantum energy fields, etheric fields, spirals, vortices, and as a medium for communications and memory. An understanding of these principles can lead to strategies for treating our water in ways that guarantee a sustainable future for humankind.

How Does Gaia Work?

The homeostasis regulated by the Earth is much like the internal maintenance of our own bodies; processes within our body insure a constant temperature, blood pH, electrochemical balance, etc. The inner workings of Gaia, therefore, can be viewed as a study of the physiology of the Earth, where the oceans and rivers are the Earth’s blood, the atmosphere is the Earth’s lungs, the land is the Earth’s bones, and the living organisms are the Earth’s senses. Lovelock calls this the science of geophysiology – the physiology of the Earth (or any other planet).

To understand how the Earth is living, let’s take a look at what defines life. Physicists define life as a system of locally reduced entropy (life is the battle against entropy). Molecular biologists view life as replicating strands of DNA that compete for survival and evolve to optimize their survival in changing surroundings. Physiologists might view life as a biochemical system that us able to use energy from external sources to grow and reproduce. According to Lovelock, the geophysiologist sees life as a system open to the flux of matter and energy but that maintains an internal steady-state.

Beyond the scientific importance of what we have discussed here, we might do well to consider some of the more poetical thoughts of the originator of the theory:

“If Gaia exists, the relationship between her and man, a dominant animal species in the complex living system, and the possibly shifting balance of power between them, are questions of obvious importance… The Gaia hypothesis is for those who like to walk or simply stand and stare, to wonder about the Earth and the life it bears, and to speculate about the consequences of our own presence here. It is an alternative to that pessimistic view which sees nature as a primitive force to be subdued and conquered. It is also an alternative to that equally depressing picture of our planet as a demented spaceship, forever traveling, driverless and purposeless, around an inner circle of the sun.”

The strong Gaia hypothesis states that life creates conditions on Earth to suit itself. Life created the planet Earth, not the other way around. As we explore the solar system and galaxies beyond, it may one day be possible to design an experiment to test whether life indeed manipulates planetary processes for its own purposes or whether life is just an evolutionary processes that occurs in response to changes in the non-living world.

Record Drought in California

Record May Heat, Drought, and Fires Scorch California

By: Dr. Jeff Masters , 2:21 PM GMT on May 15, 2014

Record May heat sent temperatures soaring above 100° in much of Southern California on Wednesday, and fierce Santa Ana winds fanned fires that scorched at least 9,000 acres in San Diego County, forcing thousands to evacuate. For the second consecutive day, the Los Angeles Airport set a record for the hottest May temperature since record keeping began in 1944. Wednesday’s 96° beat the record set on Tuesday of 93°. Other all-time May record heat was recorded at Camarillo (102°) and Oxnard (102°) on Wednesday. In Downtown Los Angeles, the mercury hit 99° on Wednesday, falling short of the all-time May record is 103° set on May 25, 1896. More record heat is forecast on Thursday, and hot offshore Santa Ana winds will bring extreme fire danger.

100% of California in severe to exceptional drought
Today’s U.S. Drought Monitor report showed grim news for California: 100% of the state is now in severe or higher drought, up from 96% the previous week. Though just 25% of California is classified as being in the highest level of drought, “Exceptional”, Erin McCarthy at the Wall Street Journal estimates that farms comprising 53% of California’s $44.7 billion market value lie in the Exceptional drought area. Averaged state-wide, the Palmer Drought Severity Index during April 2014 was the second worst on record, behind 1977. For the 12-month period ending in April, drought conditions in California for 2013 – 2014 were also the second most severe on record, slightly below the 2008 – 2009 drought. To break the drought, most of the state needs 9 – 15″ or precipitation to fall in one month. This amounts to more than a half-year’s worth of precipitation for most of the state.

Figure 3. The May 13, 2014 U.S. Drought Monitor showed 100% of California in severe or higher drought, with 25% of the state in the highest level of drought, “Exceptional.” Image credit: U.S. Drought Monitor.

California’s rainy season is over
The California October through April rainy season is now over. Between October 2013 and April 2014, the state received 10.44″ of precipitation, which is just 51% of average for the period, and the third lowest such total on record. Going back to 1895, the record low mark was set in 1976 – 1977, when the state got just 34% of its average rainy season precipitation. California typically receives less than 10% of its annual precipitation between May and September, and the coming hot and dry summer in combination with a severely depleted Sierra snowpack will cause a severe fire season and significant agricultural damages. The fifth and final snow survey of the season on May 1 found that the statewide snowpack’s water content–which normally provides about a third of the water for California’s farms and cities–was only 18% of average for the date. Already, the 2014 drought has cost the state at least $3.6 billion in agricultural damages, the California Farm Water Coalition estimates. CAL FIRE recently announced it had hired 125 additional firefighters to help address the increased fire threat due to drought conditions.

Genetic Manipulation, The Regals and the Drones

Genetic invasion: distorting the human future

Are you non-material, or just a programmed brain?

Jon Rappoport
Activist Post

First, read these two quotes from highly regarded academic scientists, to catch the flavor of the genetic revolution:

From Lee Silver, Princeton, molecular biologist and author of Remaking Eden:

“The GenRich—who account for ten percent of the American population—[will] all carry synthetic genes. All aspects of the economy, the media, the entertainment industry, and the knowledge industry are controlled by members of the GenRich class…

“Naturals work as low-paid service providers or as laborers. [Eventually] the GenRich class and the Natural class will become entirely separate species with no ability to crossbreed, and with as much romantic interest in each other as a current human would have for a chimpanzee.

“Many think that it is inherently unfair for some people to have access to technologies that can provide advantages while others, less well-off, are forced to depend on chance alone, [but] American society adheres to the principle that personal liberty and personal fortune are the primary determinants of what individuals are allowed and able to do.

“Indeed, in a society that values individual freedom above all else, it is hard to find any legitimate basis for restricting the use of repro[grammed]-genetics. I will argue [that] the use of reprogenetic technologies is inevitable. [W]hether we like it or not, the global marketplace will reign supreme.”

Here is another gem, from Gregory Stock, former director of the program in Medicine, Technology, and Society at the UCLA School of Medicine:

“Even if half the world’s species were lost [during genetic experiments], enormous diversity would still remain. When those in the distant future look back on this period of history, they will likely see it not as the era when the natural environment was impoverished, but as the age when a plethora of new forms—some biological, some technological, some a combination of the two—burst onto the scene. We best serve ourselves, as well as future generations, by focusing on the short-term consequences of our actions rather than our vague notions about the needs of the distant future.”

One scientist says we might lose half of all species getting where we want to go, genetically speaking, and the other says the process will inevitably be guided by wealth and the free market, thus creating two distinct classes of humans, the higher of which has far superior abilities -and they’ll run things.

Aren’t you thrilled? If you make it through, you may turn out to be half-biological, half-technological.

Plexiglass head, two cameras for eyes, titanium feet. Whatever.

But here’s a question. Suppose scientists could take a tiny sample of tissue from you and thereby produce a perfect clone, down to the last iota, including, of course, your brain.

Would that be you?

A surprising number of people think so. Just as they believe, with their brains frozen at death, they could come alive again when “the science has advanced far enough.”

Other people would say, “Well, the clone of me is not me, but if we could plant my memories in him, he’d be very close.”

All of this presupposes that the physical material of you is you…and there isn’t anything else to add.

I have news. That perfect clone of you is just going to stand there. Or if he moves, he’s going to operate as a machine. Programmed for every twitch.

“Yes, but if his programming is the same as mine, then who can tell the difference? What difference would there be?”

A world of difference.

You being you, wearing a human form, is a far cry from a machine that looks like you being a machine.

Discuss among yourselves. Discuss for a long time, because nothing more than the future of the human race is riding on this.

Perhaps you’ve noticed, in recent years, how the societal fixation on the human body and what it looks like is becoming massive.

From issues of race and gender to cosmetics to clothes to “performance” to medical interventions, it’s all about the person as if he’s already a clone, an android.

For the people with such an obsession, do you really think there is any hesitation about playing genetic roulette, other than official assurances of workability?

Here’s another clue. When they come calling with new genes, and when they insert them, when they use those genes “to make your brain better,” do you think the you that is you, independent of your physical form, is going to adapt?

“Well, I’ll just learn the new system. It’s like moving from a small apartment into a big house. You walk around, you get used to it.”

Really? Understand that the genetic enthusiasts don’t for a second believe there is any you to learn anything. To them, you’re just an operating system, and any system will function smoothly, as it’s directed to.

If wholesale genetic intervention takes hold, there are lots of very unpleasant surprises ahead.

Consider the psychiatric drugs like Zoloft and Paxil. You know, the drugs that scramble neurotransmitters like eggs in a cheap diner, and cause some people to commit suicide or randomly kill others. Now multiply the uncertainty of that effect by a hundred or a thousand, when wholesale genetic changes are enacted.

You were aiming to become the next Mozart? And instead you wound up burning down half the city? Just a glitch in the research. They’ll eventually iron out the problem. Take the long view. Don’t worry, be happy.

The debate comes down to who controls, yes, the philosophy. Not the science, the philosophy. Is each human merely and only a system, or is he non-material, inhabiting a physical form?

We already know what the vast majority of brain researchers and geneticists believe, as well as the governments and corporations and universities and foundations that make important decisions.

Of course, these days, the college faculty department considered to be the least important, the most useless, a mere appendage waiting for those with wisdom to put it out of its misery and kill it off…is the philosophy department.

That leaves us to take up the philosophic argument.

Not Lee Silver at Princeton or Gregory Stock or Bill Gates or George Soros or David Rockefeller or the Pope or Stephen Hawking or Obama or the Clintons or Monsanto or Dow or the Bush family or PBS or FOX or some wackadoodle at Harvard or MIT or UCLA.

Us.

Natural Immunity Remedies

Naturopathic Protocol for Immune System Health and Health Maintenance

By John Strangis

have compiled this list of items which could be beneficial towards your health. If you are feeling sick, try this naturopathic protocol. If you are not sick, it is still a great idea to include all or at least some of the items below for general health maintenance purposes.

Don’t forget, moderate exercise, both aerobic and anaerobic, is great to practice while following a natural approach for your heath.

1. Garlic – The health benefits of garlic are well known. It possesses antiviral, antibacterial, anti cancer and immune boosting properties. If you are sick, consume raw garlic, it can be mixed in salads or salsas if you feel uncomfortable eating it raw. Consume at least 3-4 cloves with every meal. If you cannot stomach it, cut the garlic into pieces and take with a glass of water just as if you were taking a pill.

2. Kale – Extremely nutritious cruciferous vegetable, good to give your body all it needs to fight infection and more. The easiest and most tastiest way to eat kale would be to make some kale chips. Remove middle stems from the kale and cut the leaves into pieces coat with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste, then spread on a cooking tray and place in an oven preheated at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp.

3. Olive leaf – Taking olive leaf extract which you can buy at most health stores is excellent. Olive leaf contains natural antioxidants, it is a potent full spectrum antibiotic and antiviral (it contains a natural reverse transcriptase inhibitor). It naturally strengthens the immune system. If you have access to an olive tree, cut off a few branches, dry the leaves and make a tea with them. Bring water to a boil, turn the heat off and add 1 tbsp of crumbled dry olive leaves. Let steep for 15 minutes, add honey or any other natural sweetener to taste. Drink 3 to 4 cups a day for optimum immune system strengthening.

Feeling sick? Try my cinnamon and honey olive leaf tea.

Olive leaf boosts the immune system, is a full spectrum antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal. High in antioxidants and great for cardiovascular health. It even protects you from radiation!

The combination of honey and cinnamon has been used for centuries in both traditional Chinese and Ayurveda, a system of healing founded 5000 years ago in India. The two ingredients with unique healing abilities have a long history as a home remedy. Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices known to mankind and honey’s popularity has continued throughout history. Cinnamon’s essential oils and honey’s enzyme that produces hydrogen peroxide qualify the two “anti-microbial” foods with the ability to help stop the growth of bacteria as well as fungi. Both are used not just as a beverage flavoring and medicine, but also as an embalming agent and are used as alternatives to traditional food preservatives due to their effective antimicrobial properties.

For one cup of tea you will need:

1 cup fluoride free filtered water
1 tbsp dried and crushed olive leaves
2 tbsp organic honey
1 tsp organic cinnamon

Bring the water to a boil, add the olive leaves and steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain the leaves from the liquid and add to a cup. Add the honey and cinnamon, stir until the honey has dissolved.

Drink 3 – 4 cups a day for optimal results.

14. Drink 1/3 in the morning, 1/3 after lunch and 1/3 in the evening.

Repeat this for 6 to 24 weeks non stop, depending on when you feel that you have fully recovered. Then you can maintain your health by eating organic and wholesome. You can also use this juice for maintenance by having one bottle twice a month. A high powered blender must be used in order to achieve a smooth consistency.

17. Milk Thistle – Milk thistle has been reported to have protective effects on the liver and to greatly improve its function. It is typically used to treat liver cirrhosis, chronic hepatitis (liver inflammation), toxin-induced liver damage including the prevention of severe liver damage from Amanita phalloides (‘death cap’ mushroom poisoning), and gallbladder disorders. Along with milk thistle you may also consider dandelion root and artichoke, they also possess great liver detoxing and repairing properties.

18. Ozone – Ozone or O3 is a highly charged oxygen molecule with increased oxygenating properties. It is often administered intravenously, or by injection, though it can be vaporized and inhaled or taken in through anal and vaginal openings. There is some use of ozone by U.S. dentists and medical doctors to prevent infections during surgical procedures, but the FDA taboo for curing with ozone remains.

Active Oxygen’s therapeutic remedial uses are extensive and growing daily. All bacterial, viral and fungal infections are eliminated by Active Oxygen therapy. Heart disease, angina, arteriosclerosis, gangrene, senile dementia, ulcers, varicose veins, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, diabetes, all forms of cancer, Parkinson’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease, immune deficiency, allergies and asthma are just a few of the conditions that are regularly treated with Active Oxygen.

Active Oxygen allegedly reverses AIDS-related opportunist infections including pulmonary infections such as pneumocytis carinii pneumonia, pulmonary toxoplasmosis, bronchopulmonary candidiasis, pulmonary cryptococcosis, pulmonary and disseminated histoplasmosis, mycobacterium avium complex, cytomegaloviru and herpes simplex, pneumonia, tuberculosis, nocardiosis, pyogenic bacterial pneumonia, and lymphoid interstitial pneumonia.

You may purchase ozone generators for your drinking water and for the air in your home or car as well! Purchase one today and start ozonating! Ozonated water has a wonderful side effect associated with it: it speeds the ripening of vegetables and improves shelf life!

19. Naringenin – Naringenin is a flavanone, a type of flavonoid, that is considered to have a bioactive effect on human health as antioxidant, free radical scavenger, anti-inflammatory, carbohydrate metabolism promoter, and immune system modulator. It is the predominant flavanone in grapefruit. Narigenin has been helpful to some people with hepatitis c.

Biological effects
This substance has also been shown to reduce oxidative damage to DNA in vitro. Scientists exposed cells to 80 micromoles of naringenin per liter, for 24 hours, and found that the amount of hydroxyl damage to the DNA was reduced by 24% in that very short period of time.

Naringenin found in grapefruit juice has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the human cytochrome P450 isoform CYP1A2, which can change pharmacokinetics in a human (or orthologous) host of several popular drugs in an adverse manner, even resulting in carcinogens of otherwise harmless substances.

Naringenin has also been shown to reduce hepatitis C virus production by infected hepatocytes (liver cells) in cell culture. This seem to be secondary to Naringenin ability to inhibit the secretion of very-low-density lipoprotein by the cells. The antiviral effects of naringenin are currently under clinical investigation.

Naringenin seems to protect LDLR-deficient mice from the obesity effects of a high-fat diet.

Naringenin lowers the plasma and hepatic cholesterol concentrations by suppressing HMG-CoA reductase and ACAT in rats fed a high-cholesterol diet.

Sources and bioavailability
It can be found in grapefruits, oranges and tomatoes (skin).
This bioflavonoid is difficult to absorb on oral ingestion. In the best-case scenario, only 15% of ingested naringenin will get absorbed in the human gastrointestinal tract. A full glass of orange juice will supply about enough naringenin to achieve a blood plasma concentration of about 0.5 micromoles per liter.
The naringenin-7-glucoside form seems less bioavailable than the aglycol form.

Grapefruit juice can provide much higher plasma concentrations of naringenin than orange juice.
Also found in grapefruit is the related compound Kaempferol, which has a hydroxyl group next to the ketone group.
Naringenin can be absorbed from cooked tomato paste.

Use naringenin in suppliment form or eat foods which can provide your body with it.

20. Oregano oil – A powerful natural antimicrobial agent. The oil of the wild oregano plant has been shown to kill unwanted bacteria, fungus, yeast, parasites and viruses. It’s a powerful antihistamine. New research is finding that oil of oregano is as effective against colitis as prescription drugs without the harmful side effects. It is also able to regenerate liver cells.
