I’m showing my work precisely because I understand the extraordinary nature of what I’m suggesting.

Throughout the essay, I distinguish between verified facts and more speculative connections. My aim is not to convince but to document and connect historically disparate pieces of information into a coherent narrative that sheds a light on the evolution of these technologies.

To analyze these complex, multi-domain systems, I’ll be applying the method my friend, philosopher Mark Schiffer describes in The Pattern Recognition Era: A Manifesto. This framework transcends both conventional academic analysis (which requires institutional validation) and what others might dismiss as conspiracy theories (which would require direct causal links I can’t always provide). Instead, it identifies architectural signatures—recurring structural features across seemingly unrelated domains. Think of it as detecting a fingerprint across time and space—not direct evidence, but a consistent signature that becomes unmistakable when viewed comprehensively. When identical control mechanisms appear in intelligence operations, entertainment industries, psychiatric institutions, and technological patents, I believe we’re witnessing convergence that transcends coincidence.

This approach doesn’t require proving every connection; rather, it reveals systems through their consistent patterns. As Schiffer observes, “Any single fact can be debated. Any isolated claim can be attacked. But a pattern that converges across multiple domains is undeniable.”

I’ve created this analysis from a place of genuine curiosity and concern—to bring attention to something in my little nook of the world that I think deserves our attention. If even a fraction of the patterns I’ve identified are accurate, we face something profound: the possibility that our most fundamental freedom—our own minds—have been systematically compromised. When the battleground becomes consciousness, freedom of thought isn’t just another liberty—it’s the foundation that makes all other freedoms possible. Without freedom of consciousness, every other right becomes illusory.


PART 1: THE LABORATORY – HISTORICAL FOUNDATION OF MIND CONTROL

In 2023, something strange happened during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. Fans began reporting what media dubbed “post-concert amnesia“—an inability to remember significant portions of shows they’d just attended. “It’s almost like my brain couldn’t process what was happening,” one fan told ABC News. Another admitted, “I don’t remember a single thing.” Thousands shared similar experiences online. Medical experts attributed this to “normal dissociation” from sensory overload.

This phenomenon, dismissed as a sensory overload, echoes techniques refined decades ago in secret labs. Is it possible that this concert experience isn’t an isolated cultural anomaly resulting from Swiftie enthusiasm? Could it instead represent the culmination of a system perfecting its methods across generations—the evolution of mind control from classified laboratories to consumer devices, from coerced subjects to willing participants, from isolated experiments to global implementation?

Sophisticated, methodical methods of mind control have their origins in classified government programs conducted in laboratory settings. Researchers tested theories on small groups, refined their methods, and systematically explored the limits of psychological manipulation. This scientific approach successfully broke down and reshaped human minds. What once seemed impossible became standard procedure. These early experiments laid the groundwork for larger systems of control, which began to take shape as researchers expanded their implementation.

Understanding those early lab experiments and the evolution to the modern application at scale is crucial for navigating our present reality. Even after congressional hearings were held to expose and stop these programs, they evolved, adapted and scaled through our most trusted institutions and technologies.

Today, the same influence techniques once tested on unwitting lab subjects reach into your pocket through your smartphone, shape your perceptions through algorithmic feeds, and modify your behavior through carefully engineered environments. Without recognizing these patterns, we risk outsourcing our very consciousness to systems designed to fragment, redirect, and ultimately control it. This technology is well documented in patents, deployed in products, and affects billions daily. The final frontier of freedom isn’t land, law, or code—it’s the mind itself. Without cognitive sovereignty, every other right becomes negotiable.

In Part 1, we’ll examine the laboratory origins upon which a much larger system would be developed and built. But the story doesn’t end here. In subsequent sections, we’ll trace how these techniques evolved beyond classified experiments into established institutions, mainstream technologies, and ultimately, the very fabric of modern society.

The Ancient Roots

The quest to control human minds and behavior stretches back centuries. In 1493, alchemist and physician Paracelsus was born. He distinguished between what he termed ‘white magic’—therapeutic hypnotic techniques—and ‘black magic’—using similar methods for control and manipulation. By 1679, Guillaume Maxwell’s De Medicina Magnetica documented methods of mesmerism that demonstrated how external forces could influence behavior and perception.

By 1784, the Marquis de Puysegur had documented what he called “artificial somnambulism,” now recognized as hypnotic trance. His work revealed that subjects could follow complex commands while in altered states and, critically, could experience amnesia upon awakening—with no recollection of what transpired during their trance.

This discovery of posthypnotic amnesia bears a striking resemblance to the experiences reported by Swift’s fans. Pierre Janet, in 1882, defined dissociation as when “things happen as if an idea, a partial system of thoughts, emancipated itself from conscious personal control to function independently.” These early investigations established the foundational concepts—dissociation, amnesia, suggestibility—that would later be weaponized by intelligence agencies.

The Franklin Commission, tasked by Louis XVI in 1784 to investigate ‘animal magnetism,’ privately acknowledged these phenomena while publicly dismissing them—establishing another recurring pattern: official denial of mind control capabilities that were actively being studied behind closed doors.

The Ethics Void

By the 20th century, these psychological concepts intersected with increasingly troubling experimentation being conducted on human subjects in other areas of study. An early example is The Pellagra Experiments (1915-1920s) which demonstrated researchers’ willingness to withhold treatment debilitating and potentially fatal Pellagra from rural Black Americans despite knowing both cause and cure. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study (1932-1972) took this further—399 men with Syphilis were observed for four decades while treatment was deliberately withheld, their suffering documented in respected medical journals.

During the Manhattan Project (1940s), civilians were injected with plutonium without consent to measure radiation effects. Dr. Lauretta Bender’s 1944 study at Bellevue Hospital subjected 100 children (some as young as three) to electroshock therapy, claiming it was a treatment for childhood schizophrenia despite many of the children showing no symptoms that would warrant such diagnosis.

The normalization of unethical research practices created a foundation for developing systematic mind control techniques. This concerning methodology later expanded to create environments where even public or famous individuals could be manipulated, as allegedly seen in cases like Marilyn Monroe’s relationship with her psychiatrist Dr. Ralph Greenson, who reportedly maintained significant influence over many aspects of her personal life.

Sargant’s Breaking Points

British psychiatrist William Sargant provided the theoretical framework that would soon be operationalized in one of the most notorious covert programs in American history: MKULTRA. His 1957 work Battle for the Mind synthesized observations from psychiatric cases and wartime trauma to develop a comprehensive model for breaking down and reprogramming human minds.

Drawing on Pavlov’s research, Sargant identified how pushing the brain beyond its normal stress threshold could create a state of heightened suggestibility. “Various types of belief can be implanted in people after brain function has been sufficiently disturbed by accidentally or deliberately induced fear, anger or excitement.”

At the Royal Waterloo Hospital in the 1960s and early 1970s, Sargant put his theories about stress-induced suggestibility and brain function disturbance into practice. Under the pretense of treating depression and other psychiatric conditions, he subjected young women to months-long drug-induced comas combined with electroconvulsive therapy. Survivors including actress Celia Imrie and model Linda Keith emerged in what they described as “zombie-like” states. Keith later recalled: “I couldn’t make any decisions on my own… Most shockingly of all, I could no longer read.”

Sargant’s methods—sleep disruption, sensory manipulation, induced anxiety, and drug-assisted interrogation—provided a scientific blueprint for systematic mind control that would be directly adopted by intelligence agencies.

Kamala Links – MK Ultra? Not Black?

Candace Owens Interviews Man Who Links Kamala Harris’ Mother to MK Ultra Mind Control

Last week, Candace Owens revealed that Kamala Harris has Sephardic Jewish ancestry traced back to her father’s father that is being blocked. Candace speculated that Kamala is trying to “blackify” herself to win the black vote.

Candace interviewed Mr. Yoichi Clark Shimatsu, who was a journalism graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley when he knew Kamala Harris’ mother, Shyamala Gopalan. He made bold statements about Shyamala, including that she revived MK Ultra government mind control experiments in Canada at a Jewish hospital. He said that MK Ultra originated in London at the Tavistock Institute and Sigmund Freud’s son was made the director of the operation. The MK Ultra program was later moved to Canada and was also practiced in the US. He provided insight into Kamala’s childhood with her mother who was said to be ‘militant’ and may have influenced Kamala’s curios speech patterns and behavior.

Mr. Clark Shimatsu said that when Kamala Harris was the San Francisco District Attorney, she prosecuted black juvenile delinquents for low level drug crimes, but ignored the Jewish drug cartels that supplied the drugs and was engaged in money laundering.

Mr. Clark Shimatsu linked Kamala’s running mate, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz with counterfeit US dollars floating in the southwestern states of the US due to Kamala’s open border, as the phony bills are allied with the Mexican cartels.

Subliminal Communication

How MKUltra Used Subliminals to Control the Minds of America

(Truthstream Media) This is a follow up to a report we did back in 2013 on an alarming piece of footage.

It was a national anthem sign-off of The Star Spangled Banner with hidden subliminals to “obey government” among other things straight out of the John Carpenter film They Live.

The clip supposedly came from a film reel found by an employee at a local Alabama TV station. While it appears authentic for the time period, and intact (as in, the subliminals weren’t just edited over an existing film), others have called it a hoax for various reasons ranging from it just seems too “on-the-nose” to “subliminals don’t work so why would they bother”.

Well, a few more things have come to light surrounding that video which lend a little more credence to the belief that it might, in fact, be real.

The Congressional Subcommittee on Transportation, Aviation and Materials held a hearing dedicated to subliminal communication technology. Entered into the record are several interesting tidbits.

First, it’s noted in a Southern California Law Review on Congressional Record that:

According to previously classified documents, the CIA tested subliminal manipulation in movie theatres during the late 1950’s and in a document on these studies speculated “that subliminal projection can be utilized in such a way as to feature a visual suggestion such as ‘Obey [deleted].’”

Wow. Sounds strikingly like the anthem video.

The CIA was talking about putting “OBEY” into a subliminal AND they were already testing subliminals in movie theaters in the U.S. in the late ’50s when the national anthem video would have been created for testing.

Keep in mind, the national anthem video, the declassifed CIA documents, and even the hearing before Congress all occurred before the film They Live was released.

The document goes on to mention:

The Central Intelligence Agency has investigated the possibility of using subliminal communication to implant suggestions or commands, to reduce a subject’s resistance to hypnosis or to affect political outcomes.

and

Recently declassified materials document CIA interest in subliminal communication during the late 1950’s. These documents suggest that government use of subliminal techniques could proliferate and yet remain undisclosed for national security reasons. Therefore, the extent and types of uses to which subliminal communication devices are being put may never be completely determined.

Subliminal technology used by the government is a matter of “national security”. Good to know.

Also interviewed by Congress at the hearing was Dr. Hal C. Becker, president and founder of a company called Behavioral Engineering Corporation, who sold little black boxes to corporations which played behavior-influencing subliminals mixed with music at a level so low, people wouldn’t consciously hear it. The box played the subliminals at the rate of 9,000 times an hour, telling people things like “I will not steal” to cut down on shoplifting or “I love real estate” for employees at a real estate office for example. Over and over and over… 9,000 times an hour.

He calls it “Subliminal psychodynamic activation”.

Some 50 businesses were using these black boxes at the time of the Congressional Hearing, and Becker had even sold one of his devices to an unnamed NFL team to encourage the players to win games.

Dr. Becker was quoted by a 1979 Time Magazine article as saying, “I see no reason why there won’t be audio-conditioning in the same way we now have air conditioning.”

It should also be noted that Dr. Becker has an extensive CV that involves working with known MKUltra-funded Dr. Robert G. Heath, a man who experimented extensively with psychosurgery and implanted electrodes into people’s brains to control their emotions.

Becker began his career as a research associate in the MIT Radiation Lab during the last three years of World War II — a prime time to get involved in secret government projects considering the Manhattan Project was going on at that time and MIT was definitely involved. Becker became an instructor of physics at Tulane University just after that as the national security complex was being erected and the Cold War began. He worked alongside Dr. Heath, Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Neurology at Tulane, throughout the 1950s, 60s and 70s. Becker, in fact, has co-authored numerous papers with Heath, including one titled, “Methods of Stimulation Control and Concurrent Electrographic Recording” published in Electrical Stimulation of the Brain, Subcortical Integrative Systems.

But I digress…

Some people say subliminals don’t work, so who cares if the CIA was experimenting with subliminals added to a national anthem sign-off.

We care that the government was involved in doing this at all.

Beyond that, people with a resumé like Dr. Becker has don’t spend decades of their life pursuing a completely useless technology.

Obviously, at some level, it did work. At some level, it does work.

And who knows what they have today…

One of the more fanciful, or thought to be fanciful, topics I’ve been covering for a good while now is the subject of the relationship of the CIA to Hollywood. 

Recent blockbusters like Zero Dark Thirty and American Sniper focus on the military and intelligence agencies in supposed “based on true events” scenarios, but is more at work here? The film industry has always loved tales of espionage, but in reality, the creation and manufacturing of a completely alternate reality and history is far more extensive than most would assume. While many films have nobly challenged assumptions about war in figures like Kubrick or Stone, for the most part, film has functioned as one of the most powerful forms of propaganda in the western establishment’s arsenal.

Watching some old G.I. Joe cartoon episodes for an upcoming analysis, I was not surprised to find Harvard psychological consultants as part of the production of the show, as reaching the youth with propaganda is central to creating cubicle dwelling automatons later in life. Likewise, researching this as a thesis topic was also instrumental in making these connections, as was the mass of information in Peter Levenda’s Sinister Forces trilogy. More recently, a plethora of news articles have surfaced that highlight this deep relationship, as this rabbit hole never ends. The coalescing of intelligence agencies, secret societies and Hollywood in reality is more sensational than any incestuous cult a pulp crime fiction writer could dream up.

Author John Rizzo has recently published a book titled, Company Man: Thirty Years of Controversy and Crisis in the CIA, which is an amazing admission of this scandalous affair between intelligence and the film industry. The L.A. Times comments:

“The CIA has long had a special relationship with the entertainment industry, devoting considerable attention to fostering relationships with Hollywood movers and shakers—studio executives, producers, directors, big-name actors,” John Rizzo, the former acting CIA general counsel, wrote in his new book, “Company Man: Thirty Years of Crisis and Controversy in the CIA….

The CIA also recruits actors to give more visibility to propaganda projects abroad, such as a documentary secretly produced by the agency, Rizzo said. And the agency sometimes takes advantage of the door-opening cachet that movie stars and other American celebrities enjoy. A star who met a world leader, for example, might be asked for details about that meeting.

The CIA has officials assigned full-time to the care and feeding of Hollywood assets, Rizzo wrote. Other former CIA officials added that some of those operatives work in the Los Angeles office of an agency department called the National Resources Division, which recruits people in the U.S. to help America spy abroad.”

With that in mind, recent news regarding Britney Spears may reveal much more than the headline suggests. Researchers have opined that “rehab” centers may actually be used for “programming” the “stars” for various mind-controlled objectives (as John Marks hints at in his Search for the Manchurian Candidate), whether as sex slaves, or spies, as Rizzo discusses.

Author Dave McGowan has detailed the military and intelligence connections to Laurel Canyon, the home of the budding counter-culture rock movement in the 60s, which spawned acts like Frank Zappa and the Doors. Military and intelligence connections thus come to the fore here with Britney’s ex, who “coached her through rehab”, being killed transporting “dignitaries” in Afghanistan – obviously an intelligence cover. Was Sundahl her helpful boyfriend, or was more at work here?

The notion of mind controlled and Dissociative Identity Disorder/Multiple Personality Disorder actors and singers is something still far-fetched for the masses, yet more and more information supporting this idea continues to come forward.

Quoting the Church Committee hearings on MK Ultra and its attendant programs that relied on the work of famous programmers:

The names associated with the programs are Dr. Ewen Cameron, Dr. Sidney Gottlieb, Dr. Jose Delgado, Dr. Jolyon West, Dr. George Estabrooks, and others. While this itself is easily tracked down in terms of the existence of the programs, what is lesser known are articles like Dr. George Estabrooks’ article from the April 1971 Science Digest, Hypnosis Comes of Age.  Included in the article are some striking admissions, especially since the OSS, CIA and FBI utilized Estabrooks and his skills. The article mentions, first of all, Estabrooks’ claim of the use of secret couriers and keywords that function as the triggers in the operative: The system is virtually foolproof. As exemplified by this case, the information was “locked” in Smith’s unconscious for retrieval by the only two people who knew the combination. The subject had no conscious memory of what happened, so could not spill the beans. No one else could hypnotize him even if they might know the signal phrase.”

Thus, all the way back to World War II the program had been perfected to give handlers the ability to program alters within preselected, highly suggestible individuals. The key trigger words, phrases, signs or codes unlock the alter, with the front persona having no knowledge of the information locked in the alter.  The potential for abuse here is quite obvious. The modern psychiatric “bible,” known as the DSM-V still cites Dr. Estabrooks’ old essay, showing that the present establishment views all this as authentic, as well as a host of films that portray mind control themes. In fact, it seems as if mind controlled assassins and alters are appearing in countless productions with increasing frequency.

Hollywood and The CIA - A Dark Marriage Revealed  - CIA Owns the MediaRemember – it was Hollywood that was making films about MK Ultra before it was even known to the public as a real program, as we see in the 1962 The Manchurian Candidate.

With this direct Hollywood connection in mind, we can see the likely possibility of the abuse of pop stars, who become high-priced commodities for the same establishment. I have written before about Candy Jones, and all the way up to the present, top stars are now alleging they were abused by their “handlers” and/or producers. While some cases may be publicity stunts, it is hard to believe they all are.

News hounds will recall Amanda Bynes believing she was brainwashed and implanted with a microchip and Ke$ha recently suing for abuse by her “handler”, Dr. Luke, with Luke in turn counter-suing. Prior to that, we have witnessed a barrage of news stories the last few years recounting a stream of victims alleging networks of sickos using and abusing those under them. Let us not forget Penn State and Jerry Sandusky and Jimmy Savile of the UK, as well as a host of UK government officials. Recent reports also arose from actors like Corey Feldman, who alleges similar crimes.

Mysterious Death

Details surrounding the death of screenwriter Gary Devore (author of Raw Deal and Time Cop) who was killed in 1997 also made the news this week, with the production of a new documentary on his questionable death.

The Daily Mail reveals that Devore was in fact working with the CIA, while the strange dating of the severed hands suggests a possible ritual connection:

“When the skeletal remains of Hollywood screenwriter Gary Devore were found strapped into his Ford Explorer submerged beneath the California Aqueduct in 1998 it brought an end to one of America’s most high-profile missing person cases.

“The fact that Devore was on his way to deliver a film script that promised to explain the ‘real reason’ why the US invaded Panama, has long given rise to a slew of conspiracies surrounding the nature of his ‘accidental’ death. It didn’t help that Devore’s hands were missing from the crash scene, along with the script, and that investigators could offer no plausible explanation as to how a car could leave the highway and end up in the position it was found a year after he disappeared.

“Now the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal that Devore was working with the CIA in Panama and even a White House source concedes his mysterious death bears all the hallmarks of a cover-up.”

Hollywood – the Flip Side of the CIA

Hollywood and The CIA - Propaganda PosterIn analyzing J.J. Abrams’ Alias, I recently wrote that Jennifer Garner was recruited by the CIA to be a kind of PR front to sell recruitment as glamorous. A few days later, the Washington Post ran a revealing piece entitled “Ex-spies Infiltrate Hollywood as Espionage TV Shows and Movies Multiply”. Although the Washington Post article treats the issue as if this is some new move, we know this is nothing new but a classic dark marriage that existed all along.

Consider the laughable irony here: The Americans is a Hollywood-produced TV show about KGB infiltration of America, screened in the midst of an article about actual CIA usage of Hollywood, as propaganda. As the Post writes:

Hollywood tends to be a destination spot for a lot of Washingtonians,” said David Nevins, the president of Showtime, which produces the spy juggernaut ‘Homeland.’ There was the ‘West Wing’ crowd of former politicos. I’ve met with more than one former Navy SEAL. And now, certainly the intelligence community has been the most recent in a long line of Washingtonians trying to come out and tell their stories.

The show’s creator and co-head writer, Joe Weisberg, is a former CIA officer… Weisberg, whose show begins its third season on FX on Wednesday night, is perhaps the most successful of the CIA alumni who have infiltrated Hollywood. “The Americans”, about two deep-cover KGB operatives living in suburban Virginia in the 1980s, was ranked by many television critics as one of last year’s top 10 shows.

But Weisberg, who left the CIA in 1994, is hardly the only ex-agency guy trying to cash in on the spy show craze. (Spy shows, one executive at a major Hollywood talent agency observed, have become as ubiquitous as cop shows.) Former senior CIA officials Rodney Faraon and Henry “Hank” Crumpton are the executive producers of NBC’s “State of Affairs,” which stars Katherine Heigl as a CIA analyst and member of the agency’s presidential daily briefing team — one of Faraon’s old jobs.

Let us also not forget the role of Melissa Mahle, former CIA operative, in “coaching” and “advising” Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) member Angelina Jolie in her role as triple agent in SALT, the 2010 espionage thriller. The film itself was loosely based on Mahle, as the Telegraph reports:

Jolie’s role is based, loosely, on the experiences of Mahle and other spies. “I was very impressed when I met Angelina”, says Mahle. “She was very intent upon understanding not only what a real CIA officer was like but also the motivations behind our actions.”

Indeed, it is becoming more and more apparent that Hollywood really is the flip side of the CIA, when we think of Ben Affleck doing a film like Argo, based around CIA operative Antonio Mendez, one of the Agency’s Masters of Disguise. Indeed, Affleck revealed to the Guardian that Hollywood is “probably full of CIA”, in the wake of his film about the CIA staging a fake B-movie shooting in Iran.

As these revelations continue to leak, we can expect more evidence to confirm that the dark side of the CIA may run far deeper than even I imagine; especially when we think of individuals like Sammy Davis Jr. and Jayne Mansfield, who were known members of the Church of Satan, as well as a host of other celebrities who fancy dabbling in the occult – for examples, see here and here. In fact, films like Eyes Wide Shut have revealed these very associations, as have films from Black Dhalia to Mulholland Drive to Milla. These CIA/occult connections are real, especially when we understand films like Zero Dark Thirty are in fact pure CIA propaganda fictions.
