Replacing Our ‘War Rooms’ with ‘Peace Rooms’

Barbara Marx Hubbard —  Foundation for Conscious Evolution, President
Evolution is evolving from unconscious chance to conscious choice. We are entering the first age of conscious evolution.

Why? Because we obviously affect our own evolution by all the choices we make — from the food we eat, the number of babies we have, the cars we drive and the weapons we build.

Humans have no experience at being responsible for global change at this level. We are facing, as Bruce Lipton and Deepak Chopra recently wrote, the possibility of the collapse of our life support system. Or, I believe, the emergence of something new, something better than we have ever known before.

The common crow knows when you’re out to get him — and he’s likely to teach his friends and family to watch out for you, a new study finds.

In results that can only be described as Hitchcockian, researchers in Seattle who trapped and banded crows for five years found that those birds don’t forget a face. Even after going for a year without seeing the threatening human, the crows would scold the person on sight, cackling, swooping and dive-bombing in mobs of 30 or more.

Study: Salton Sea faults may trigger big San Andreas Fault earthquake

San Andreas Fault

Engineering of the Colorado River may have delayed an overdue large earthquake along the southern San Andreas Fault, UC San Diego researchers say in a new study.

But as stresses keep building, faults under the Salton Sea may trigger a big quake anyway, the researchers said.

The faults, some of which the researchers discovered, could trigger ruptures in a “strike-slip stepover zone,” they said. That’s the same fault configuration that triggered the disastrous 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

Hands to Heart Center

Hands to Heart Center:    There are times when we are feeling stressed or overwhelmed in our daily lives.  This is a time to stop, stand firmly on your two feet, take a deep breath, and bring your hands to your heart center with palms together or cross your hands, one on top of the other.  Take a moment to feel your heart, to listen to your heart, to be with yourself.  Connect with the energies of the Earth and the Universe and feel the light all around.  As you connect with all things, you can see the true meaning and importance of WHO you are.  You can accomplish anything as long as you stand firm in WHO you are and act from your heart.  You will find more clarity and better perspective.  While you are firm within your heart, take a moment to look at your priorities.  Then breathe deeply and move on with your day.

INTENTION: By connecting with my heart, I find my inner power.
