New NASA Research Points to Possible HAARP Connection in Japan Earthquake, Tsunami

Recent data released by Dimitar Ouzounov and colleagues from the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland highlights some strange atmospheric anomalies over Japan just days before the massive earthquake and tsunami struck on March 11. Seemingly inexplicable and rapid heating of the ionosphere directly above the epicenter reached a maximum only three days prior to the quake, according to satellite observations, suggesting that directed energy emitted from transmitters used in the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) may have been responsible for inducing the quake.

Published in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) publication Technology Review, the findings are presented alongside a different theory called Lithosphere-Atmosphere-Ionosphere Coupling, which hypothesizes that the heating in the ionosphere may have been caused by the impending earthquake as the fault line released radioactive radon. This theory, of course, is not actually proven, but is instead presented as a possible explanation for the presence of the high-density electrons and emitted infrared radiation that was observed

Unusual Steam Venting North of L.A.

CONFIRMED ! SMOKE and STEAM coming out from the ground in south California

LITERALLY, smoke and steam coming out of the ground just NORTH of Los Angeles !!! just 2 days ago !

This 100% validates the plume activity we saw 3 weeks ago to the north east of Los Angeles, and all the way up the west coast … exactly what I thought it would look like.. steam venting like a very large fumerole, but on a MASSIVE scale all the way up the west coast.

Taken in conjunction with the announcement this past week of fresh lava flows off the coast of Oregon, I would say we have a full blown seismic event underway on the west coast of the USA.

Update: Soputan Volcano, Indonesia

UPDATE 15/08-07:20 UTC : The eruption is still going on but is weakening a little bit.  Visual observation of the volcano has detected  at least 40 debris avalanches around the craters. This means that volcanic activity is still continuing. The safety No-Go radius has been widened yesterday to  6 km. The closest village just outside the dangerous perimeter is Desa Kota Menara.

 

UPDATE 14/08-17:30 UTC : A couple of minutes ago “TheBuracho69″ has uploaded a video of the eruption on YouTube. The quality is not super, but the video footage shows very well the strength of the ash cloud. The last images are showing the strongest part of the eruption

Update on Storm Activity in the Tropics

The latest in our unusual number of weak tropical cyclones this season, Tropical Depression Seven, has formed to the southeast of Bermuda. Unless you live in Bermuda, TD 7 is not going to be a concern. Radar out of Bermuda shows an area of rain on the northern side of TD 7 beginning to approach the island, and rain from the storm will likely affect the island tonight and on Monday. TD 7 is not well-organized, and has only limited heavy thunderstorms, as seen on visible satellite images. While wind shear is a low 5 – 10 knots, dry air surrounds TD 7, and is keeping the storm from intensifying. None of the computer models foresee that TD 7 will ever become more than a weak tropical storm.

92L
TD 7 isn’t the only system Bermuda needs to watch, Invest 92L is a day behind it, and will follow a path very similar to TD 7’s. The disturbance will pass close to Bermuda on Tuesday, bringing the island a second round of tropical rains. However, Invest 92L is very disorganized, as seen on recent visible satellite loops. Dry air and close proximity to TD 7 will likely keep 92L from showing significant development over the next two days, with NHC giving the system just a 30% chance of developing into a tropical depression by Tuesday morning.

Elsewhere in the tropics
The disturbance midway between the Lesser Antilles Islands and the coast of Africa we’ve been tracking over the past few days, Invest 93L, has fallen apart and is no longer a threat to develop. This system will need to be watched once it enters the Caribbean later this week, though. None of the reliable models for predicting tropical cyclone formation predict development of this system or any new disturbances over the coming week.

UPDATE 14/08-10:26 UTC : The local government of Garut regency, West Java has started the planning of evacuation routes. The government does not want to improvise if the alert status would go up further to level IV (the alert level remains at III since yesterday).
Garut Regent HM Aceng Fikri, said that thevillages of Citeureup, Bayongbong andCisurupan located along the River Cibeureum,  will probably be exposed to a possible direct impact of volcanic activity.
The villages are located approx. 7 kilometers from the crater of Papandayan volcano. Additionally, the local government will be ready with all necessary relief aid and equipment if an evacuataion would be imminent.  As the Papandayan volcano has an explosive history, people are scared for destructive Lahars and pyroclastic clouds.
A lahar is a type of mudflow or debris flow composed of a slurry of pyroclastic material, rocky debris, and water. The material flows down from a volcano, typically along a river valley.

Greater Vancouver area gets a wake-up call for earthquake preparedness

Earthquake overview : In the late evening of August 11, a weak earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 was sending a emotional vibration through parts of British Colombia. The earthquake was too weak to create any damage or injuries, but the sensation of feeling an earthquake, tells the people to be ready if a major one would arrive. (Data and Felt Reports at the lower half of this page)

Where the earthquake comes from
Although the distance from thesubduction fault in front of the coastto the epicenter is at least 450 km and although 90% of the earthquakes are occurring below the sea bottom in the immediate subduction fault area, the map below shows also some major earthquakes at several hundred km to the east of the fault line. The map at right shows the risk levels for the greater Vancouver area. Today’s earthquake occurred in the yellow lower risk zone ! The more you go to the west the higher the risk for a future serious earthquake at a major magnitude.

Tropical System Approaching

Tropical system heading westward toward the Leeward Islands this next week

(TheWeatherSpace.com) — A wide tropical wave, or Invest 93, is moving across the Central Atlantic will head westward toward the Leeward Islands by the middle of next week.

As of now the system looks favorable for additional development over the next several days and it should be a slow developing system at that.

The system is riding pretty far South which would naturally put it South of Puerto Rico but since it is so far away my forecast “cone of uncertainty” will remain wide, covering Puerto Rico.

The ridge will migrate westward with the system which is leading me to believe this system will actually keep moving due west toward the Leeward/Windward Islands.

Should this forecast be correct we may have a threat into the Gulf Of Mexico within a week and all eyes should remain on this system.

The system is not a threat at the time to the United States being how far away it is and we have plenty of time to forecast the track. Now it is not to say that down the line it will not be a dangerous storm because it very well could be.

A Bit on This Mercury Retrograde

This Mercury retrograde pattern really catches my eye, and I think there’s a message in it: As soon as Night Five opens August 18, and possibly during the Full Moon at the end of Day Five, the financial wizards will run out of rabbits to pull out of their banking hats, while the people get jangled by shocks. The New Moon is on the 1776 USA North Node, so the focus of the world collapse will be the US, not Europe. Aspects to Mercury from Pluto, Neptune/Chiron, and Uranus will help us turn to spiritual matters and seek love in our families, the only real solution for money problems. These aspects indicate we will be highly susceptible to mystical breakthroughs, as well as very good at trusting our spiritual guidance during August. There are to be seven exact squares between Uranus and Pluto during 2012 through 2015, the period when the world will create new ways of life for a viable future. This square is very close during July/August 2011 amidst the high rate of change during the Universal Underworld. Time acceleration will build through October 28, 2011 (when our world will experience the imposition of a new fractal and holographic field), and then the structural adjustments will be continual through 2015. We are transmuting our minds in a hot alchemical furnace as Neptune and Chiron soften Pluto and spiritualize this difficult process. Mars in 28 Gemini is right on the point opposite the Galactic Center (GC), where Venus was located during the previous New Moon. (In the July 1 reading I made an error and said it was on the GC, not opposite). So, Venus opposite the GC opened our consciousness to cosmic realms during the previous lunation, and now Mars activates this point. Mars (which also sextiles the New Moon) guards the visual pathway out of our Galaxy.

Saturn in Libra is in a wide opposition to Uranus in Aries, and the influence is moving off. However, Saturn in 12 Libra quincunxes Jupiter in 9 Taurus while Jupiter trines Pluto, which is a stabilizing factor during this New Moon. Jupiter in Taurus is grounded and creates good future, which helps us during this unstable phase. And, the trine from Pluto (exact July 7) aids the transformation of structures. For example, this trine is causing the financial wizards to be more aware of the destruction they may cause, so they are cautious and respectful for a change. The quincunx from Saturn in Libra approaching its third and last hit of the USA’s eighth Saturn Return (exact August 28) causes Americans to get real about wanting to be the last empire. The exact Jupiter/Saturn quincunx does not occur until May 2012, because Jupiter retrogrades back to early Taurus starting in late August. This Jupiter retrograde period (August 30 to December 25, 2011) will occur during the most intense financial jitters, so the structural changes are going to be deep. The best thing the Roman Empire used to do was declare a Jubilee every fifty years, when all debt was forgiven. Maybe this is what the whole world needs now? Thank the goddess Jupiter is in Taurus until June 2012! Regarding personal finance, Jupiter in Taurus says take care of your essential needs first, since choice will be very limited for most during the great restructuring of our world.

Day Five (July 31-August 17) begins one day after this New Moon and will be an exciting life-changing time; there is no doubt it will be overwhelmingly stressful. The Full Moon on August 13 will add astrological fuel to radical transformations. If at all possible, be as calm and receptive as possible, so that you can receive the spiritual directions coming to Earth during Day Five. Be present, and nurture the strength of courage in your hearts through unconditional love; only you can do it.

Interestingly, earlier in the post, his analysis of the astrological significators indicated the following:

Mercury in early Virgo is a big player this month. The chart is cast for Washington, DC, home of the current world empire, and Mercury is right on the mid-heaven. Mercury exactly opposes Neptune (and closely opposes Chiron); trines Pluto; and is quincunxed by Uranus. This means we will be visionary (Mercury opposite Neptune) about the huge transformations (Pluto), while extreme change (Uranus) will push and push. But Mercury’s action is much more intense than that, and the dynamic suggests the financial crisis is deepening. Mercury will exactly oppose Neptune late on July 28 (after this reading gets posted) and will turn retrograde on August 2 (when the US may begin to default); then Mercury opposes Neptune a second time on August 8. Mercury gets back to a third opposition to Neptune on September 8. This suggests the US will be struggling with either a default or a downgrade on its debt rating during this period; the negative elements of Mercury opposite Neptune are fantasies and illusions about resources.
