Are You Listening?

This story starts with me gradually becoming more and more run down and fatigued over the course of a week or so.  Eventually I got pretty darn miserable and frustrated and I decided to ask my spirit guides what was going on and how I could fix it.  So, I shouted out to the universe “what the heck is wrong with me and how do I fix it?” and then I just waited for the answer as usual.  But in the meantime, I had to go to town to do some chores.

The First Sign

The first thing that happened as I pulled out onto the main road heading to town was that the car in front of me had a model name of “aura” as indicated by the emblem on the back of the car.  I scratched my head and thought to myself, “I’ve never heard of a car named ‘aura’ before.  I didn’t even know one existed.

I wasn’t sure if it meant anything, but I had a feeling that it might.  So I just made a note of it in the back of my mind and I continued heading to town.

The Second Sign

The first place I stopped in town was a hardware store.  As I wandered around the store trying to find what I needed I accidentally turned down the paint aisle.  As I looked up at the shelves, I saw a paint can with the word “aura” on it, apparently there was a paint brand called “aura.”  As I wandered down the paint aisle I passed at least 10 cans in a row that said “aura” on them!

I laughed out loud because this seemed like it was probably the first part of my answer.  When a sign or symbol gets repeated three or more times in quick succession, that usually means something.  And again, I just noted it in the back of my mind and continued my shopping in the hardware store.

The Third Sign

Eventually I found what I needed and I purchased it and I headed back out to my car and as I was opening the door, I noticed something on the ground right in front of my feet, right in front of the door of my car.  It looked like a bracelet, one of those bead bracelets.  So I bent down, picked it up, and looked at it.  The beads of the bracelet had letters on them and they spelled out the word “stressed out.” I found that very odd, who would buy and wear a bracelet that said “stressed out” on it? Wouldn’t people want their bracelet to say something uplifting or inspiring?

The oddity of this perked up my attention so again I noted it in the back of my mind and I started heading home.  When I was about halfway home, I began to contemplate everything that had happened so far.  Based on the signs, my hypothesis was that my state of extreme fatigue had something to do with my energy body or my auric field.  Maybe my aura was depleted.  I certainly was given a big hint is this direction by seeing the word “aura” so many times in quick succession.

And maybe stressed-out had something to do with auric field depletion.  I didn’t know if that was true, but it seemed like it might be possible.  And I had been stressing out for a while.

So, when I got home, the first thing I did was do a Google search for “energy body charging.” The search results that came back included many videos and articles.  So I clicked on the first item in the search results list and as I read the first paragraph, it mentioned the auric field multiple times.  And in the second paragraph it mentioned that stress can affect one’s auric field.  Bingo message received!

Communicating Through Signs and Symbols

This is how spirit often communicates.  It communicates through signs and symbols in the external reality.  Spirit can also communicate through your intuition or via telepathy if you like — inspired ideas, downloads, etc.  But oftentimes, signs and symbols are much more obvious than your intuition (which often times is subtle) — especially if you are paying attention for the signs and actively interpreting them.

Another Question and Answer

In any case, this story is not quite over yet, so I’ll continue.  The article I found included instructions on how to charge your auric field.  Which involved a process that lasted about five or 10 minutes and I did this process every day for about a week or so.  But after doing this, I was only feeling slightly better.

So, I decided to ask another question — “what am I doing wrong?” — and I asked it out loud as usual.  My number one hypothesis was that maybe I needed to do the process longer than 5 or 10 minutes.

Not long after asking this question I received a message from a follower of my Facebook channel — someone I’d never spoken to before.  Somewhat oddly, the message contained a link to a video but included absolutely no explanation or introduction.  Nevertheless, I clicked the link and it was a video of a 30 minute auric field clearing and charging meditation.  This was the answer!  I needed to do it longer (as I has suspected).

Out of curiosity, I decided to ask the person who sent me the link, why they sent it to me.  And guess what they said? They said “an angel told me to send it to you”!  I laughed out loud again, because I always find the way spirit communicates via signs and symbols amusing.

That’s it, I hope you found this story interesting and informative.

See you in the next story,

Auras & Health

Here’s What Your Aura Reveals About Your Health

The energy surrounding our bodies is known as our aura, emitted from our body and spirit based on our own vibrational frequency. Auras can be seen as rays or ovals of light around a person, but not everyone can see them. Scientists have made significant breakthroughs on the subject of auras, and have been able to successfully document this phenomenon and what it can actually reveal about your health and state of mind.

Aura colors and strength vary from person to person, depending on their own specific energy. Your aura can change from day to day, even moment to moment, depending on the experiences you have and the emotions you feel. Thoughts can also affect your aura, as they largely determine your energy field.

Around the world, at Russia’s St. Petersburg State Technical University, Dr. Konstantin Korotkov is building a bridge between auras and a person’s health. So far, he’s created a unique device that reads the bioenergy of organisms and their surroundings. This device (GDV) takes an electron cloud snapshot of the subject in a millisecond and prints out the results. When the image prints out, he compares it to images from other healthy subjects. With this comparison, specialists can track diseases and potentially stop them before they become lethal.

Here’s a video to explain the idea of how auras can affect your physical health

Here’s what your aura reveals about your mental health

YELLOW

The main traits of those with a predominantly yellow aura are intelligence, logic, and a quick wit. They think with their heads, not their hearts, and can quickly put their emotions aside to deal with problems that arise. They can sometimes work too hard, however, as they are Type A’s who thrive on reaching their goals.

RED

As you might have guessed, people with a red aura have a fiery, feisty nature, and cannot be tamed easily. They love freedom, adventure, and excitement, and get bored quickly. People with a red aura have a high level of confidence in all areas of life, and don’t normally suffer from mental or physical illnesses. This is probably because they don’t live in their heads much; they thrive on action, and don’t mull over decisions too long.

PINK

People with a pink aura have a very generous, sweet, approachable energy. They give love freely, and are a hopeless romantic. They also are empaths, with an uncanny psychic ability and creative talents. People with this color aura are idealists, which makes it hard for them to see the world as it is. They want to change it somehow, and feel like it’s their mission in life to do so. They have a bubbly, charismatic personality, and have many friends because of it.

GREEN

If you have a green aura, then you have an unwavering love for the outdoors, and consider yourself a true nature lover. You also care a great deal about health, and strive to eat nutritious, wholesome foods the majority of the time. You’re very grounded and logical, and people come to you all the time for advice because of your no-nonsense approach to life. Your home and car are spotless, which reflects the way you look after yourself. You enjoy safety and stability, and don’t deal well with changes. However, sometimes you can be too rigid in your approach to life, so try going with the flow more.

ORANGE

People with an orange aura love the spotlight, and enjoy activities with many people around them. They are charismatic, funny, loud people, and are usually the life of the party. However, they have an innate ability to sense other’s emotions, and care deeply for how people feel. Due to their passionate nature, they can sometimes lose their temper, but will quickly apologize if they’ve been out of line.

PURPLE

This color signifies great psychic abilities, and high sensitivity to emotions and energies. People with a purple aura have a mysterious, quiet, contemplative nature. They are considered empaths due to their ability to feel things deeply. They live a lot inside their own minds, but have a beautiful soul. People with this color aura tend to spend a lot of time alone in nature, as they feel misunderstood by most humans. They don’t have many friends, but they adore and cherish the ones they do have. Sometimes, people take advantage of their open, loving nature, so people with this aura need to do a lot of self-care to protect their energy.

BLUE

This color aura is the rarest of them all, but it symbolizes strength in communication and a balanced persona. As you might have guessed, this aura represents a calm, soothing nature, and so these people make wonderful peacemakers and solvers of problems. They can smooth things over quickly in an argument, and have an honest, highly eloquent way of talking with people. These people seem to have the perfect balance of thinking and feeling, and always say the right thing at the right time. They are very intelligent, and have a gift of communicating in any means necessary.

GOLD

People with a gold aura have a love for the finer things in life. They thrive on being the center of attention, and have a very colorful social life. They love to entertain people and show others a good time. They have a strong independent streak, and don’t usually ask anyone for help. These people can sometimes come across as superficial due to their extravagant tastes, but they simply enjoy giving people nice things, and decorating their living space with them as well.

WHITE/SILVER

Highly talented and versatile, people with this aura can adapt perfectly to any situation. They are a chameleon, able to change quickly based on their environment, and excel in many different areas of life. They attract success easily, and usually make very good leaders and teachers. People are drawn to them because of both their inner and outer beauty, but people with this aura need to take care to keep their egos in check.

BROWN

People with a light or dark brown aura tend to be lost souls, wandering around aimlessly searching for a place to call home. They might fall back into bad habits, and have a negative self-image. They tend to focus so much on other people’s flaws, that they forget to address and fix their own.

BLACK

Black points to blockages in the energetic field. It can also signify deep, unresolved issues, depression, anger, rage, stagnation, discontentment, or any other negative emotion. People with this color aura need to make time for self-care, and not be so hard on themselves.

Bringing Together Right & Left Brain

Integrating the Left and Right Brain

Those of us alive on the planet during this unique time in human history have truly chosen an exciting time to exist.  We live during a time where many ancient prophecies are upon us and where the rate of the expansion and acceleration of consciousness is increasing exponentially; a time of apocalypse if you will.  The word apocalypse finds it’s origin in the Greek language meaning to uncover, reveal, or disclose.  Apocalypse is the perfect description for the current shift happening.

Previously hidden knowledge, spiritual concepts, and energy technologies are being revealed throughout the collective consciousness.  Generally speaking what are considered ‘new age’ ideas to some, are more accurately ancient knowledge, sciences, and understandings.  Our ancestors, wherever they may find origin, seemed to have a more intimate and activated relationship with the world and the universe than most of us are accustomed to today.  Finally the time has come for us to re-connect with this knowledge.  Traditional systems of medicine such as Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and many schools of herbalism are becoming widely practiced again.  Meditation, astral travel, lucid dreaming, and higher dimensions are becoming common terms in many circles and we are re-discovering and developing new technologies for transportation, power, and permaculture.  Yet, this precious cosmic knowledge presents our modern logical minds with a dilemma at times.

Throughout our lives our educational system, the tone of our culture, our politics, and the role of modern sciences and technology in our world can lead to a greatly developed logical and analytical mind while at times systematically de-activating our intuitive mind.  At the moment of planetary shift, we are still the product of colonization, the dark ages, and the long-term suppression of knowledge.  It seems we are in a place of choosing between the logical experience and the intuitive one; to choose either thinking or feeling, but not both.  In this way, we are at risk of going from one state of imbalance to another.  Therefore, as seekers of expanded consciousness, it is especially important in our left-brained culture to honor a balancing of both aspects of our dualistic brains.  We must understand that we need not accept every piece of information that comes our way if it doesn’t register with us both intuitively and logically.

Luckily, in roughly the past 30-40 years we have seen a gradual increase in scientific research and logical analysis of concepts that have previously fallen into the category of imaginary or unexplainable phenomena.  A primary cause for this lapse in understanding could be that the scientific field is actually in some ways not caught up to the level of knowledge being disseminated.  For instance, certain energies we speak of such as those of the various layers of the auric field may be or may have been too fine to be sensed by the instruments currently available for research.  Take also for example the major reigning theories in the field of physics.  For a long time Newtonian physics held that we lived in a material world of solid physical objects.  We now understand that everything we perceive is an expression of vibration in a virtual hologram.  The beauty of scientific thought in it’s regularity and insistence on process is also it’s weakness in progression.  A quantum leap in understanding in one field such as physics, may reveal a lapse within the perspectives of other fields which could take a very significant amount of time to catch up.  To also consider the role of corporate and governmental investment in the suppression of certain technologies being available would be another article entirely.

When we consider the revolutionizing of the scientific process, visionaries in the scientific fields such as Einstein and Tesla come to mind.  Upon examination, both were individuals who applied passion, excitement, and intuition to their airtight scientific processes and thereby originated concepts and technologies that completely changed, and are still changing the world.  We can take a lesson from this in our personal life.

Thinking again to our upbringing and education we will see that for many of us, if we spoke of other dimensional phenomena or responded to our intuitions as children, we were quickly taught by adults in our lives that this was silly.  Our experiences were dismissed or ignored.  This follows through in our education to a far greater degree.  The focus of institutional education is on information recall, retention, conformity, etc.  Many students are still lucky enough to receive small amounts of training in art, music, and creative fields, yet we are also often told that we can expect no future in these things, and are more encouraged in fields of science, business, technology, or mathematics.  While there is nothing wrong with these fields in and of themselves, the philosophy behind our training as youth is heavily imbalanced toward the value of information over free-thinking and conformity over expression.  Because of this conditioning, there is extra work to be done and many parts of our minds and abilities are yet to be fully explored and integrated.

Take for example the western scientific view of herbalism as compared to a traditional system of herbalism.  From a purely logical viewpoint, the value of any one plant as a medicinal substance would be analyzed in a very methodical way.  Trials would be done, constituents of the plant would be chemically analyzed, and conclusions would be reached as to the efficacy, safety, or suggested use of that plant or it’s constituents.  In an intuitive system of herbalism, a plant may be connected with as opposed to analyzed.  It will be understood and considered according not only to how it acts physically as a medicine, but also according to it’s energetic qualities.

In many herbal medicine systems plants are described as having ‘cooling’ or ‘heating’ properties or they may be described as ‘dampening’ or ‘drying’.  These terms are describing the essence or the feeling of that plant.  In traditional plant medicine of indigenous peoples throughout the world, the spirit inherent in a plant is communicated with as an autonomous expression of consciousness, a being.  In cases like these, patient and practitioner alike generally have a strong belief in the potency of the plant based on systematic experience and based on intuition.  This type of medicine can have astonishing results.  Is this merely the placebo effect?  Is the placebo effect not merely further proof that the feelings and intuition guide the outcomes of our perceived reality?  We can see where the line between the logical mind the intuitive mind becomes blurred.  In this blurry zone is a very powerful place of meeting and integration.  Certainly we will find that this distinction becomes more and more difficult to make as we continue on our path of conscious evolution.

Our brilliance and expansion does not happen with the exclusive expression of a part of ourselves accompanied by the complete denial of another.  The miracles of expansion, discovery, and expression are born when we learn to honor and integrate both dualistic expressions of the self in this dualistic dimensionality.  Integrating the “I think” self and the “I feel” self makes way for the “I know” self.  And from the space of knowingness all expansion, brilliance, and creation comes.

The Spiritual Meaning Of Colors

Why are we attracted to specific colors and what do they mean spiritually?

Visible Light Frequencies

According to David Icke, we are only capable of seeing a limited range of colors and we are unable to see the frequency range beyond visible light.  Icke believes that certain races of extraterrestrial beings called Reptilians operate on a different frequency outside visible light and manipulate our current reality through Illuminati families.

Colors Beyond The Veil

Through Near Death Experiences, we have heard numerous times about people who temporarily passed on to the other side and upon their return, have stated that they saw various indescribable colors that we are unable to see within our current light frequency.

Photoreceptor Cells

Many people believe that dogs can only see in black and white, but  the truth is, they can see limited colors as they only have approximately 20% of the cone photoreceptor cells that humans have. Photoreceptor cells are the part of the eye that controls our perception of color.

Our bodies have seven energy receptors of life force and prana called chakras. Each chakra vibrates and responds to a different color. The word, chakra, is Sanskrit and means "wheel" or "turning, but in yogic context, chakra means 'vortex' or 'whirlpool'.

Chakras

Our bodies have seven energy receptors of life force and prana called chakras.  Each chakra vibrates and responds to a different color.  The word, chakra, is Sanskrit and means “wheel” or “turning, but in yogic context, chakra means ‘vortex’ or ‘whirlpool’.

In her book, True Balance, by Sonia Choquette, she mentions how to use the color green if you are sad or depressed.  A non-spiritual Crystals and Gemstonesdescription of this color is often associated with envy (as in green with envy) but Choquette advises to go outside in nature and observe all of the ‘green’ around you because through nature and the predominance of the color green, it will lift your spirits.

When the heart center is balanced, we actually establish energetic resonance with others, entering into a common vibration. We’ve all had these spontaneous heart-based connections, such as when we encounter someone we instantly like or feel as though we’ve known in the past. The Universe is a hologram aware of all of its parts at all times, and when we move into our heart chakra, we shift into this holographic vibration. This allows the Universe to fill any void that we may be experiencing in our life, giving us exactly what we need, brining us our heart’s desire.

Sonia Choquette, from her book, True Balance

Your lower three chakras govern your physical drives and urges in this 3rd dimensional reality while the upper four chakras are more spiritual

in nature.  In order to clearly access the upper four chakras, one needs to work on his or her lower three chakras through ‘chakra clearing’.

I have several Himalayan Salt Lamps which exude an orangish-yellow color and help to keep my lower chakras in balance while eliminating negative ions within a specific range of my lamps.  My daughter has a slight case of asthma which is immediately eradicated when she’s near her Himalayan salt lamp. When lit, the color of the Himalayan Salt Lamp strongly resonates with your sacral and solar plexus chakras.

Honoring The Elements

Many indigenous cultures not only honor all aspects of life, but directions as well.  Each direction of north, south, east and west have a corresponding element and color:

Crystals and Gemstones

Certain colored gemstones and crystals have specific properties and benefits, many of which align to either your chakras or to similar descriptive benfits as the candle colors:

Auras

While some people may be able to pass a lie detector test, your aura will never lie. According to wiki, the aura is “a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person”.

You can learn how to see your aura here: How to See Your Aura: Tips and Tricks!

The colors of your aura reflect the same colors as your chakras.  For example, if your aura is red, orange or yellow, it shows that there are some physical, mental or sexual areas in your life that need addressing. Once your lower root chakras are balanced, you’ll begin seeing an aura that will be green, blue, indigo or violet, which correspond to the heart, throat, 3rd eye and crown chakra.  While many people will have differing opinions on the ideal aura color, it is this writer’s opinion that green shows the most balance.  Please keep in mind that there are no “bad” aura colors as each color has a lesson to teach us about ourselves.

For more on what each aura color means, please see: How to Read Auras: What is the Meaning of Each Color?

The colors you use in every day life, whether they are in the clothes you’re wearing right now, the color of your car or even the color you painted your walls, can tell a lot about you.
