Meteor CHower 5/24 fr/Comet Linear

RONIC COMET LINEAR: On May 24th, the heavens could put on a display of irony. Forecasters say Earth will cross a stream of debris from Comet 209P/LINEAR, and the encounter could trigger a bright new meteor shower. The ironic thing is, the comet is so faint:

Aaron Kingery of NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office took the picture on May 18th using a 0.5 meter telescope at the Marshall Space Flight Center. “209P is not a very photogenic comet,” says Kingery. “This is the best I could do with a 60-second exposure.”

How could such a dim comet produce a bright meteor shower? In 2014, 209P is producing very little dust. However, the debris Earth is about to encounter didn’t come from 2014. It was shed by the comet mainly in the 19th and 20th centuries. In those days, forecasters hope, the comet was more active.

Updated on May 18, 2014: I added 5 more photos and news changed the UFO number. They now say 8 UFOs fell over China, 5 more than they reported on 1st day.

Hey everyone, this just hit China news a few hours ago. Three UFOs fell from the sky to land in two different provinces in China. People got a few photos, but then China Government people appeared really fast and stop them and made all the people leave. This looks like part of the UFO that hit the Russian Rocket just hours earlier. I told you in the report earlier it looks like an orb UFO hit the rocket, but they found three of them! They are in the hands of the Chinese now. O_o  Check out the video at bottom of this post. SCW

Taiwan Yahoo News states: (translated from Chinese)
Three UFOs crashed in Heilongjiang cited arguments
( CNA Taipei 16 (Xinhua) ) CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee Propaganda Department confirmed Yian, that three unidentified flying objects (UFOs) fell from the sky today,  and has plunged into Yian and Baiquan municipal territory under Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province.

WASHINGTON reported,  according to the Committee Propaganda Department Yian noted Yian SHUANGYANG Meng Chang Village villagers heard this morning a huge piercing sound, after that some villagers witnessed a large fireball crossing the sky,  falling within the farmers home vegetable garden.

Subsequently, the villagers photographed the UFO. According to photos, such as a round metal UFO peripheral package has jagged circle edges, and looked like a monks hat or cap on in Mongolia.
Reports as of now,  Baiquan Qiqihar,  Heilongjiang Province, also found that two UFOs crashed together,  shaped like the first object. At the place that they fell, the UFOs have been blocked by authorities. Relevant personnel came to the scene, measuring and researching it.

This news immediately became a hot topic in website “Mainland Friends.”  Friends saw the photo that this is possibly an alien probe, satellite or space debris; Some people joked that it was ” Which country is spying on neighboring China?” There are people that said this is space junk; also people believe that this is a Russian rocket launch failure that happened this morning.

However, in the end these three UFOs are still under official investigation. (Which means the China govt has sealed these files and UFOs away-SCW).

UFO Over Stockton, California Causes Public Frenzy, May 9, 2014, UFO Sighting News.

Date of sighting: May 9, 2014
Location of sighting: Stockton, California, USA

News Source 2: http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/05/10/hole-punch-cloud-spotted-in-stockton/

In the photo at the top you will notice this UFO has a jellyfish appearance, which is a common type of UFO. It glows like it has its own light source and it also has a shape of a star with five points. Also note the hole it made in the cloud around it. UFOs are known to make holes in clouds (O’hare UFO sighting proves this point), just as this one did. In the photos with the people in it at the bottom, we see a lot of eyewitnesses looking up at the sky at this object. It was noticed by a lot of people that day. They are trying to be notices but doing it gently  to not cause anyone fear. SCW

CBS13 News states:

STOCKTON (CBS13) – An unusual cloud spotted in Stockton caused a storm on social media Friday afternoon.

Photos started flooding social media a little after 2 p.m. Many people characterized the event as a UFO, using hashtags like #alien, #weird and even going so far as saying the earth was due for an extraterrestrial invasion. (more at source).

Genetic Manipulation, The Regals and the Drones

Genetic invasion: distorting the human future

Are you non-material, or just a programmed brain?

Jon Rappoport
Activist Post

First, read these two quotes from highly regarded academic scientists, to catch the flavor of the genetic revolution:

From Lee Silver, Princeton, molecular biologist and author of Remaking Eden:

“The GenRich—who account for ten percent of the American population—[will] all carry synthetic genes. All aspects of the economy, the media, the entertainment industry, and the knowledge industry are controlled by members of the GenRich class…

“Naturals work as low-paid service providers or as laborers. [Eventually] the GenRich class and the Natural class will become entirely separate species with no ability to crossbreed, and with as much romantic interest in each other as a current human would have for a chimpanzee.

“Many think that it is inherently unfair for some people to have access to technologies that can provide advantages while others, less well-off, are forced to depend on chance alone, [but] American society adheres to the principle that personal liberty and personal fortune are the primary determinants of what individuals are allowed and able to do.

“Indeed, in a society that values individual freedom above all else, it is hard to find any legitimate basis for restricting the use of repro[grammed]-genetics. I will argue [that] the use of reprogenetic technologies is inevitable. [W]hether we like it or not, the global marketplace will reign supreme.”

Here is another gem, from Gregory Stock, former director of the program in Medicine, Technology, and Society at the UCLA School of Medicine:

“Even if half the world’s species were lost [during genetic experiments], enormous diversity would still remain. When those in the distant future look back on this period of history, they will likely see it not as the era when the natural environment was impoverished, but as the age when a plethora of new forms—some biological, some technological, some a combination of the two—burst onto the scene. We best serve ourselves, as well as future generations, by focusing on the short-term consequences of our actions rather than our vague notions about the needs of the distant future.”

One scientist says we might lose half of all species getting where we want to go, genetically speaking, and the other says the process will inevitably be guided by wealth and the free market, thus creating two distinct classes of humans, the higher of which has far superior abilities -and they’ll run things.

Aren’t you thrilled? If you make it through, you may turn out to be half-biological, half-technological.

Plexiglass head, two cameras for eyes, titanium feet. Whatever.

But here’s a question. Suppose scientists could take a tiny sample of tissue from you and thereby produce a perfect clone, down to the last iota, including, of course, your brain.

Would that be you?

A surprising number of people think so. Just as they believe, with their brains frozen at death, they could come alive again when “the science has advanced far enough.”

Other people would say, “Well, the clone of me is not me, but if we could plant my memories in him, he’d be very close.”

All of this presupposes that the physical material of you is you…and there isn’t anything else to add.

I have news. That perfect clone of you is just going to stand there. Or if he moves, he’s going to operate as a machine. Programmed for every twitch.

“Yes, but if his programming is the same as mine, then who can tell the difference? What difference would there be?”

A world of difference.

You being you, wearing a human form, is a far cry from a machine that looks like you being a machine.

Discuss among yourselves. Discuss for a long time, because nothing more than the future of the human race is riding on this.

Perhaps you’ve noticed, in recent years, how the societal fixation on the human body and what it looks like is becoming massive.

From issues of race and gender to cosmetics to clothes to “performance” to medical interventions, it’s all about the person as if he’s already a clone, an android.

For the people with such an obsession, do you really think there is any hesitation about playing genetic roulette, other than official assurances of workability?

Here’s another clue. When they come calling with new genes, and when they insert them, when they use those genes “to make your brain better,” do you think the you that is you, independent of your physical form, is going to adapt?

“Well, I’ll just learn the new system. It’s like moving from a small apartment into a big house. You walk around, you get used to it.”

Really? Understand that the genetic enthusiasts don’t for a second believe there is any you to learn anything. To them, you’re just an operating system, and any system will function smoothly, as it’s directed to.

If wholesale genetic intervention takes hold, there are lots of very unpleasant surprises ahead.

Consider the psychiatric drugs like Zoloft and Paxil. You know, the drugs that scramble neurotransmitters like eggs in a cheap diner, and cause some people to commit suicide or randomly kill others. Now multiply the uncertainty of that effect by a hundred or a thousand, when wholesale genetic changes are enacted.

You were aiming to become the next Mozart? And instead you wound up burning down half the city? Just a glitch in the research. They’ll eventually iron out the problem. Take the long view. Don’t worry, be happy.

The debate comes down to who controls, yes, the philosophy. Not the science, the philosophy. Is each human merely and only a system, or is he non-material, inhabiting a physical form?

We already know what the vast majority of brain researchers and geneticists believe, as well as the governments and corporations and universities and foundations that make important decisions.

Of course, these days, the college faculty department considered to be the least important, the most useless, a mere appendage waiting for those with wisdom to put it out of its misery and kill it off…is the philosophy department.

That leaves us to take up the philosophic argument.

Not Lee Silver at Princeton or Gregory Stock or Bill Gates or George Soros or David Rockefeller or the Pope or Stephen Hawking or Obama or the Clintons or Monsanto or Dow or the Bush family or PBS or FOX or some wackadoodle at Harvard or MIT or UCLA.

This UFO glides past the ISS and flashes as if trying to signal them. Streetcap1 of Youtube caught it on May 9th. Its very strange that the UFO is so bright like the moon and then grows in brightness only to disappear. The color of the UFO matches that of the space station due to the suns odd angle and reflection from its surface, which causes the orange hue. SCW

Michigan Bans Livestock on Small Farms

Michigan Bans Animals On Small Farms

michigan small farm livestock ban

Many Michigan residents will lose their right to keep livestock on their own property due to a new ruling from the state’s Commission of Agriculture and Rural Development.

The Commission ruled April 28 that local governments have the right to ban livestock from any area zoned residential in the state.

The action will “effectively remove Right to Farm Act protection for many urban and suburban backyard farmers raising small numbers of animals,” Gail Philbin of the Michigan Sierra Club told Michigan Live. The Right to Farm Act is a state law designed to protect farmers from nuisance lawsuits and zoning regulations. The Commission ruled that the Right to Farm (RTF) Act does not apply to homeowners who keep small numbers of livestock.

“It’s all ‘Big Farm,” and it’s ‘Big Farm” deciding against the little farm,” Kim White, who raises chickens and rabbits, said of the Commission’s vote. “They don’t want us little guys feeding ourselves. They want us to go all to the big farms. They want to do away with small farms and I believe that is what’s motivating it.”

“The Commission is essentially taking sides in the marketplace,” Philbin said.

Bees, Chickens and Goats Now Illegal?

Governments could ban goats, chickens and even bee hives on properties where there are 13 homes within an eighth of a mile of a livestock property or another home within 250 feet of the property, under the Commission’s ruling, Michigan Public Radio reported.

“I believe we have over 100 communities in Michigan who have ordinances on the books against chickens and bees and other things, and they will be able to continue to move forward with those,” Jamie Clover Adams, the director of Michigan’s Department and Rural Development, told Michigan Radio.

The rationale for the Commission’s action is that officials are afraid there would be political pressure to repeal the Right to Farm to Act in order to stop backyard farming, Michigan Radio reported.

Opponents of the rule change have not laid out a course of action yet, although some backyard farmers are considering a legal challenge. Other possible courses of action include legislation in the state legislature and a ballot initiative.

Regulatory Limbo

Some homesteaders in Michigan could find themselves in a complete regulatory limbo because of the Commission’s action. Blogger, writer and organic farmer Michelle Regalado Deatrick does not know if she’ll be able to keep her livestock, because about half of her 80-acre farm may not be zoned for farm animals.

Pig -- god's law“We’re building up a mixed production farm, planning to farm during retirement, and we have a permit in hand for a livestock facility,” Deatrick said, “but have waited with building until we were sure of what the GAAMP changes would be. Now we’re having to reconsider our business plans and may sell the farm and buy a farm in a more rural area with definite [Right To Farm] protection, or move to another state that’s more welcoming and protective of small farm rights.”

GAAMP refers to the Generally Accepted Agricultural and Management Practices, a set of guidelines put out by the state of Michigan. The current GAAMP designates many small farms as Category 3 lands where livestock might not be allowed.

“Category 3 sites may be zoned for agriculture, but are generally not suitable for livestock production facilities,” the GAAMP states. “They may be suitable for livestock facilities with less than 50 animal units.”

Another problem is that local governments in Michigan are under no obligation to follow the GAAMP. It is simply a set of guidelines.

Michigan is one of several areas where property owners have had to fight for the right to raise food on their own land. Off the Grid News has reported that property owners in Florida and Quebec have been barred from planting vegetable gardens.

Dr. Oz Scams on the Web – Be Informed

Dr. Oz exposes dietary supplement scam artists fraudulently using his name to dupe customers

by: Mike ADAMS, THE HEALTH REANGER

(NaturalNews) If you look around the web, you’ll see the face of Dr. Oz on the sales pages of numerous dietary supplement products. Commercial emails routinely tout products with the claim that “Dr. Oz recommends this,” even as clicking on a link often takes you to a dubious website that signs you up for a deceptive auto-ship program for a counterfeit product. (Seriously, some supplements sold today by con artists don’t even contain the ingredients they claim.)

The problem with these promotions is that they are fraudulently using Dr. Oz’s name. Dr. Oz doesn’t sell any dietary supplements, you see, and he doesn’t endorse specific brands or products.

After sending numerous cease and desist letters to the scammers to no avail, Dr. Oz jumped on an airplane with his camera crew and drove to the scammers’ place of business to confront them on camera! Click here to watch the exciting segment yourself, which almost reminds me of an episode of COPS.

Dr. Oz doesn’t hold back, either. He marches right through their offices and warehouse and even grabs video of the people fleeing on foot. Truly, this is one of the most exciting Dr. Oz moments in history — and one of the most morally justified, too, in my opinion.

The people responsible for running the fraudulent “Dr. Oz” ads, according to this report, include:

Richard Fowler
Ryan Fowler
Oscar Maria
Nathan Martinez

… all reportedly operating out of San Diego, California, marketing “Garcinia Cambogia” supplements.

Sick and tired of the scammers and charlatans

Like Dr. Oz, I’m sick and tired of the scammers and charlatans who use deceptive business practices to hawk questionable dietary supplements. In fact, I’ve helped expose several of these companies, including the fake Acai berry scams which ultimately resulted in an FTC crackdown and huge fines.

While I’m a huge advocate of honest dietary supplements, superfoods and herbs, I have very little tolerance for people who think they can lie, cheat and steal their way to riches by exploiting the efforts of someone else.

Check out the fake news Acai berry diet scam ad below: the attractive news model in this picture has been the subject in incessant image piracy and misappropriation. She’s actually a French model who has been widely victimized by dietary supplement scammers, and her legal team has sent out hundreds (of not thousands) of cease and desist letters to violators.

If you ever see a suspicious-looking ad on the internet with her face on it, rest assured it’s a total scam:

We go to great lengths to police our own website of sponsors and ads

Natural News readers may not realize this, but we also go to great lengths to make sure scammers and cheaters don’t get access to our website. Sponsors that we accept have to adhere to strict quality requirements. We even review the ingredients of their formulas and reject them if their products contain certain ingredients we don’t allow.

While we can’t be 100% effective at policing all ads, we also work diligently to remove scammy or spammy Adsense ads, and we don’t knowingly allow any sponsors that run deceptive auto-ship programs (I’m a huge critic of deceptive auto-ship programs. Don’t you hate those?)

You may have also noticed we don’t allow things on our website like:

• Animated ads
• Auto-play videos (don’t you hate those, too?)
• Rollover-activated expanding ads
• Ads that link to pages which won’t let you leave

In fact, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes at operations like Natural News to stop the scammers from duping the public.

That’s why I applaud this effort by Oz. I’m really glad he took the time and effort to produce this video report, and I think it’s important for the public to be educated on the rise of internet scammers who exploit the gullibility of the public for their own selfish gain. These operators don’t care about your health; they don’t care about GMOs, or Smart Meters, or heavy metals… they only care about making a quick buck, no matter who they have to hurt (or deceive) in the process.

Click here to watch the Dr. Oz video I’m talking about.

Scammers give the industry a bad name

Hoodia Gordonii will forever be associated with scammers. Acai berry is much the same. And now, thanks to this explosive video investigation, Garcinia Cambogia will also be frequently associated with scammers.

The saddest part in all this is that products like Acai berry really do have many extraordinary properties (but they aren’t a weight loss miracle, by the way). There do exist some honest companies that sell these materials, but the rise of scammers tends to discredit the entire industry of dietary supplements. It also feeds right into the FDA’s desire to more aggressively regulate the industry — a move which would suppress the availability of many useful herbs and products, thereby harming many Americans who currently benefit from these products.

As someone who does have my own brand of dietary supplements, you’ll notice that I routinely downplay any health benefits of these products. In fact, if you look at my freeze-dried Acai powder product page at the Natural News Store, you’ll see that I don’t make any health claims at all. But I do go to the extra time, effort and expense to test everything we sell for heavy metals, and every product sold under the “Health Ranger” brand is validated to be very low in such metals.

There’s no arm-twisting, no aggressive sales pitch, no auto-ship program and no, you don’t see me stealing a picture of Dr. Oz to slap on the page either. My goal is to provide honest, pure, healthful products that nourish real people. It’s a simple goal but also increasingly rare in an industry where the almighty dollar so often trumps any sense of ethics or values.

(If you really want to understand what drives me in all this, click here to see my “Awakenings” video where I describe my philosophy of karma, spiritual truth, ethics and values.)

Do your homework before you buy

I suspect Dr. Oz would share in the final message of this article: Do your homework before you buy supplements. Know who you’re buying from. Steer clear of scammy-looking promotions. Ask the manufacturer if they’ve tested for heavy metals. Check out the reputation of the manufacturer.

There are a great many honest, quality-minded supplement manufacturers in the marketplace today, by the way. NOW Foods, in my opinion, is one of them. GAIA Herbs is my favorite herbal product company. I just tested the Whole Foods brand of Ginkgo herbs, by the way, and found the heavy metals to be remarkably low. Whole Foods seems to have some solid quality control going on with their in-house brand (from what I’ve tested so far, anyway).

Do your research and learn who to trust. And don’t be duped by some fly-by-night operation that says Dr. Oz (or the Health Ranger, for that matter) has endorsed their product. Chances are it’s a scam.

Privatizing Water?

Water Liberty: How Innovation Trumps Privatization

Rady Ananda
Activist Post

The World Bank joins Nestlé in wanting to privatize water, deeming it “extremist” to suggest that those born on this planet have a natural right to clean, potable water. Meanwhile, RT’s Abby Martin reports that the watchdog group Corporate Accountability International recently released a new analysis showing that:

Investing in private water does not extend access and is also counterproductive for economic development. By contrast, infrastructure investment, abandoned by the corporate sector, is where real benefit can be achieved: the World Health Organization estimates more than $10 of economic benefit from every $1 invested in water infrastructure systems.

Also commenting on the World Bank’s push for water privatization, Al Jazeera reports:

Its project database for private participation in infrastructure documents a 34 percent failure rate for all private water and sewerage contracts entered into between 2000 and 2010, compared with a failure rate of just 6 percent for energy, 3 percent for telecommunications and 7 percent for transportation, during the same period.

Whether public or private, water supplies are dwindling. In one shocking report from 2012, the US Defense Intelligence Agency’s Community Assessment of Global Water Security states that the global need for water will exceed the supply by 40% in the next 25 yearsThis means for every 3 people on this planet, there will only be enough water for 2 people,” says Kacper (like the ghost) Postawski. Right now, the three main sources of water in the US are rapidly running dry:

The DIA Assessment warns that 36 states already are, or soon will be, facing water shortages. They estimate that California only has a 20-year supply of fresh water left, at current usage.

We’re facing extreme water problems that only a community-driven mindset can solve, not a for-profit corporate paradigm envisioned by the World Bank, Nestlé, Bechtel, etc.

In 2013, the University of Engineering and Technology in Lima, Peru used a neat techno-engineering trick to grab the attention of potential students. They posted a billboard that captures atmospheric humidity, passes it thru a reverse osmosis system, and stores it in a tank for locals to access for free. The five condensers involved provide about 100 liters of water a day, and the whole system cost $1,500.

Even better is the $500 system developed in Ethiopa. Using a completely different and more aesthetically pleasing design, Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler invented the Warka Water, a structure that uses local plants, and also extracts about 25 gallons a day. Because no special tools or fabricated materials are required, once the locals understand how to build the interweaving vase-like construction, they can repair as necessary, and pass on the technology to neighboring villages.

warka_water tower

Smithsonian explains that every detail of the 30-foot-tall tower has a functional purpose. The outer housing is made of bamboo, strong enough to resist wind gusts while still allowing airflow. An inner mesh net collects dew, steering it toward the bottom collection container. Citing the Smithsonian and other sources, Kevin Samson also wrote a detailed piece on it.

No one’s profiting from the Warka Water Tower, but the $500 investment in, or, rather, donation to “public infrastructure” will water thousands of people in a drought-ridden nation. This is a winning solution that far surpasses Bill Gates’ $2,200 toilet that converts dirty water to potable, and costs even more to operate, putting it out of reach of those who need it.

Below is a short news piece on the structure, or you can watch a much longer presentation by the designer:
