Overall Color for the Week:    Bright Blue

This week can both fulfill your expectations and turn them all into mush.  The lesson involves priorities and focus.  You have spent enough time helping, aiding, enabling others.  Let that all go.  All of that energy and work, while seeming impotant at the time, was not truly in your best interests.  This is a week for knowing what is in your best interests.  What is not working for you and why?  Take a look at that stuff and open to the answers. They are all there.  It really is not profitable to ignore them.  Look around you at the friends and situations you find yourself in.  Are they good for you?  Do you find a sense of belonging, of camaraderie?  If not, then….  Well, I will leave it up to you.  Everything now is spinning upon, depending upon, waiting upon you.  What will you do about this?  But do not worry.  Do not feel that it is the finality.  It is what it is in the moment, and you always have choices.

On the larger scale, this is a take-nothing-for-granted week.  One of the themes of these times is the disconnect between cause and effect.  This can lead to people in the media lashing out against seemingly insignificant remarks, people in the news flaunting things about themselves that are actually not quite so seemingly, and earth movements and event s happening in random places and in not according to patterns.  This theme will also effect the political arena.  Expect some of your basic assumptions about candidates to be validated.  This recent campaign is more like an arcade game than a serious attempt to present the important issues and topics and to give reasonable and doable solutions.  Economics will be crazy this week, even scary.  There ill be news out of Europe concerning the Euro.  The area of the Sudan seems to have something at work>  Weather issues will adversely effect various countries, not just the United States.  It seems that Russia, too, is under the gun.  There is someone who is going to get themselves heard who will be putting fort some pretty bizarre predictions, accusations, and requirements.  Be alert to the news of the crops this year.  There is not a lot of good news there.  The energy of the week is such that anything can (And probably will) flip-flop and morph.  Watch the weather.  Be alert to the Earth.  So called natural disasters are increasing.  Stay centered in your heart and you will know the direction in which to go.

Sunday, October 2:    Lavender Mist

There is much in the air today, and although it is time for clarity, you will find yourself unable to see things quite clearly.  This is, instead, a day for listening, for paying attention with all the other senses.  There is much that you can learn when you open your other senses to things around you.  Take time to use your hands to feel things. See what they can tell you,  Know what smooth is.  Know what prickly is.  Listen to the winds and the voices of the birds.  Hear the things that fly in the air, the noises machines make, the rumble of passing vehicles.  Open to the smells around, and experience what they are reminding you of.  Smells are strongly attached to memories, perhaps you can take a trip to a past life.  And taste…  Savor those things you eat and drink.  Take time today to experience the world through the other senses.  And tonight, open to the knowing of your heart.  There is a message there for you.

Monday, October 3:    Light Amber

This is a day for knowing what is real and what is fake, what belongs and what is merely passing through.  It is important to take time and analyze what is being said and spoken about.  People have agendas, and today the agendas are taking over much of what is really importnat.  Look carefully at things before committing.  You may want to postpone any decisions that are potentially life chagning.  Take time to go within, center, and work through what is coming your way.  There is so much going on out there, that you will find it very difficult to concentrate or  focue.  Just because someone has the loudest voice does not mean that what theya re putting forth has merit.

Tuesday, October 4:    Frosty White

Winter is definitely coming, and today there is a chill in the air.The energies around and within are vibrating to a new frequency.  You are recalibrating yourself, and at these times, the best thing to do is to spend time with yourself.  This is a good day for knowing what it is that you truly desire in your life.  It is time to separate needs from desires, to know the differences between the two, and to choose what really is meaningful.  THis is true in all areas, in relationships, in food choices, in exercise regimes, in job options, in personal passions.  IT is time to focus on yourself, to make yoruself number one.  The waves in the air today assist you in breaking out of old patterns.  Take advantage of these and know WHO ytou are.  That is most important.  You cannot be good for anyone or anything else if youare not good for you.

Wednesday, October 5:     Purple Blue

There is something new in the wind today and an echo in the waters.  The elements are alive and active, and you will find yourself responding to them.  Expect a bit of discomfort throughout all of this.  Things are sifting on all levels, and there is no certainty to be found.  Do not look for it today.  This is a good day for putting off old stuff that you have been thinking about.  One of the reasons that no decisions have been reached is due to the fact that you are changing.  Take some time to work with yourself.  Go within, journal, paint, act, write.  The evening is a good time for conversation with those who really matter in your life.  It is time to realize that a lot of the things that you have been denying yourself are really important.  Why is it that we so often do that?

The energies of the day encourage and support flow.  this can assist when you need to be in the moment and not to get caught up in the details.  Take time to look around you and you can see the larger picture coming into focus.  This can surprise, even delight you.  Also, be alert to others who are finding the same revelations around them.  People are changing, relationships are changing, patterns are changing, and with them so are personal preferences.  This is a time of coming together and breaking apart.  Today is a good time to get in flow with the tide of difference, and be open to the cues around you that let you know that you are a part of this, that you are aware of what is going on, and that you are not crazy.

Crystal Energy:    Diopside—-This stone is a friend in need, indeed.  It is there in times of stress and uncertainty to soothe and calm.  Resonates with the Root Chakra.

Yesterday’s energies have spilled over into today.  You will continue to see may of the same sorts of things happening today that you saw yesterday.  The lessons are there, and they are getting stronger.  You will feel that it is most important to be focused on, conscious of what is going on around you today.  There is a shift in the air, and you can be surprised to see things move before your very eyes.  The dimensions are very thin, very watery today and things that pop into and out of focus are actually doing just that.  Take time today today center, to go into your heart center and find the feelings that tell you what is right and proper for you at this time.  Much is going on and there are choices to be made.  Know that nothing is wrong in the larger scheme of things, however you need to set your priorities, hone you r focus, and be alert to what is right for WHO you are.

Keep your eyes out today because anything can happen.  You may find that a lot of your old expectations, thoughts, and preconceptions are being challenged by the energy of the day.  Look around you for hints of what is shifting in your life and what it is that you wish to maintain.  There will be moments of synchronicity, as well as times when someone will say something, you will see something, or feel something and it contains an important message for you.  In many ways, this is a pivotal kind of a day.  It is a day that lets in energy that can change your life.  The tears are coming, but not today.  There is time for regret for things left behind, but that must always be tempered by the perspective of what it is that you have changed and made better.  Sometimes we grieve merely for its own sake.

Researchers have identified what is believed to be the world’s earliest surviving Christian inscription, shedding light on an ancient sect that followed the teachings of a second-century philosopher named Valentinus.

Officially called NCE 156, the inscription is written in Greek and is dated to the latter half of the second century, a time when the Roman Empire was at the height of its power.

An inscription is an artifact containing writing that is carved on stone. The only other written Christian remains that survive from that time period are fragments of papyri that quote part of the gospels and are written in ink. Stone inscriptions are more durable than papyri and are easier to display. NCE 156 also doesn’t quote the gospels directly, instead its inscription alludes to Christian beliefs.

“If it is in fact a second-century inscription, as I think it probably is, it is about the earliest Christian material object that we possess,” study researcher Gregory Snyder, of Davidson College in North Carolina, told LiveScience.

Snyder, who detailed the finding in the most recent issue of the Journal of Early Christian Studies, believes it to be a funeral epigram, incorporating both Christian and pagan elements. His work caps 50 years of research done by multiple scholars, much of it in Italian. The inscription is in the collection of the Capitoline Museums in Rome.

“Assuming that Professor Snyder is right, it’s clearly the earliest identifiable Christian inscription,” said Paul McKechnie, a professor of ancient history at Macquarie University in Australia, who has also studied the inscription.

As translated by Snyder, the inscription reads:

To my bath, the brothers of the bridal chamber carry the torches,
[here] in our halls, they hunger for the [true] banquets,
even while praising the Father and glorifying the Son.
There [with the Father and the Son] is the only spring and source of truth.

Details on the provenance of the inscription are sketchy. It was first published in 1953 by Luigi Moretti in the “Bullettino della commissione archeologica comunale di Roma,” an Italian archaeological journal published annually.

The only reference to where it was found is a note scribbled on a squeeze (a paper impression) of the inscription, Snyder said. According to that note, it was found in the suburbs of Rome near Tor Fiscale, a medieval tower. In ancient times, the location of the tower would have been near mile four of a roadway called the Via Latina.

How was it dated?

Margherita Guarducci, a well-known Italian epigrapher who passed away in 1999, proposed a second-century date for the inscription more than four decades ago. She argued that the way it was written, with a classical style of Greek letters, was only used in Rome during the first and second centuries.

Salutations! & Welcome! My Beautiful Beings of Light. The moments have whizzed by and again it is time for the monthly message.

The Creator is sending each of you a mighty Celestial Cyber Hug. Close your eyes and just allow yourself permission to feel the love wave as it washes over your Essence. Perhaps your physical body may feel warm and tingly but your Celestial Bodies will know without a doubt that you have been given the most glorious Creator Hug that you will ever remember receiving.

Physical time may feel like it is whizzing out of control within most of your moments now. It is best to work with your inner self to help stabilize the overwhelm that this sensation may be sending to your body, pushing it into overdrive.

You can help yourself come back into center and balance if you place your hands on your Solar Plexus and close your eyes. Simply bring your mind to your Solar Plexus, breathing deeply and mentally ask it to calm down. Just keep your eyes closed for another minute or two and feel the peace descend upon your physical body.

You may be feeling as though this is a tiny lull before the storm or next drama event within the Earth Plane, My Beloveds.  Take these small breather moments and learn to turn the dial to accessing, allowing and releasing to provide you with the information that you need to move forward on your Spiritual path.

My Beloveds you will constantly be clearing and releasing all those things that no longer serve your highest good. Do your clearing work daily as you lay your head down at night, right before falling asleep. Don’t take the debris that has accumulated during the day into your dream state or allow it to be kept in your physical body tissues.

If something major occurs in your day you can release it right then and there, no need to even drag those doom and gloom moments another second further. All that is required is for you to quiet your mind, give sincere intent to clear it and for a moment close your eyes, place your hands on your Solar Plexus. Through a small prayer mentally say to your Angels, Spirit Guides or The Creator, “ I am releasing to you now, I am releasing to you now, I am releasing to you now, and so it is.” Let it go My Beloveds and hand it off to those that truly can help you the most.

WINDSOR — For months, residents of south and west Windsor have been wondering and worrying about vibrations of unknown origin.

 

And now, those mysterious rumblings under the city have found a new believer — the city’s Ward 10 Coun. Al Maghnieh, who says it’s time to start taking the phenomenon seriously.

 

“It’s very present and real,” he said.

 

Maghnieh added that those who think the phenomenon is a joke or that its proponents are “crazy” need to grasp the implications in terms of health and the environment.

 

“I mean, it’s actually scary to think that this is going on and we still can’t pinpoint what it is,” he said.

 

“This is potentially very dangerous.”

 

Maghnieh said he first started receiving calls from concerned citizens back in March.

 

But it wasn’t until the early hours of Friday morning — when he’d arranged to visit the homes of rumble witnesses — that he experienced the sensation himself.

 

“It’s a very sharp, consistent rumble sound,” Maghnieh said. “Sometimes it’s like a hum.”

 

The city councillor said that at one point, he put a half-full water bottle on the ground and could see the vibrations causing ripples on the water’s surface.

 

At another point, he could hear the aluminum siding of a house rattle due to the vibrations.

 

“It was very obvious. It was very evident,” Maghnieh said. “It sent shivers up my spine.”

 

Maghnieh said he’s so far received about two dozen calls and a half-dozen emails from different people in his ward with complaints about the rumble.

 

When he followed up on some of the recent reports, two homeowners agreed to let him on their properties and investigate.

 

The time period between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. was chosen because that’s when the vibrations are reportedly the most distinct.

 

“I don’t know if it’s stronger then or not. Maybe it’s just because it’s quieter outside,” Maghnieh said.

 

Although the Ministry of the Environment has studied the matter and has ruled out industrial sources, Maghnieh said there needs to be further and fuller investigation.

 

“You can’t have hundreds of people just imagining these things,” Maghnieh said. “We need resources. We need co-operation. We need somebody assigned to this.”

 

Now Maghnieh is preparing a map of his ward to track the location of the rumblings, with radii indicating where the rumblings have been the strongest.

 

It might not be long until the issue hits Maghnieh even closer to home: He recently finalized purchase of a house on Everts Avenue, and some of the rumbling reports he’s received are from fellow Everts Avenue residents.

 

“On my own street,” Maghnieh exclaimed. “On my new driveway, my first day arriving at my home — three different residents from three different homes came to welcome me to the neighbourhood, and the first thing they said was: ‘There are rumblings here. It’s bad.'”

 

Maghnieh said he doesn’t regret buying the house. “In fact, now I’m even more motivated to get to the bottom of this.”

Draconid Meteor Shower Peak 10/7-8

The Draconid meteor shower might be fantastic in 2011 on the nights of October 7 and 8. Or the shower might be a washout.

The next two major meteor showers are coming up in October 2011, and there’s possible exciting news this year about the October Draconid meteor shower. That is, earlier in 2011, an astronomer predicted that the Draconids might produce a spurt of 1,000 meteors per hour for a brief time, for some lucky observers on Earth. That’s the good news. The bad news is that the moon is in the way. Still, don’t let the moon stop you. Would you want to be that guy sitting indoors watching TV while everyone is oo-ing and ah-ing over a great meteor shower going on outside – even if it is happening in moonlight? I wouldn’t either. Check the skies frequently on the nights of October 7 and 8. Better yet, go camping on those nights, and sit outside under clear dark country skies. October 7 and 8, 2011 Draconids
The radiant point for the Draconid meteor shower almost coincides with the head of the constellation Draco the Dragon in the northern sky. That’s why the Draconids are best viewed from the northern hemisphere. The Draconid shower is a real oddity, in that the radiant point stands highest in the sky as darkness falls. Unlike many meteor showers, the Draconids are more likely to fly in the evening hours than in the morning hours after midnight. This shower is usually a sleeper, producing only a handful of languid meteors per hour in most years. But watch out if the Dragon awakes! Earlier in 2011, an astronomer predicted that, this year, fiery Draco might spew forth up to a thousand meteors in a single hour. Even if the predicted outburst comes in 2011, the shower must compete with a big and brilliant waxing gibbous moon. Moonlight will surely interfere with the show. The glare of moonlight is sure to interfere with the 2011 Draconid shower, but you should try viewing it on the peak evenings of October 7 and 8, anyway, to see if the predicted outburst occurs.

Update on Hurricane Ophelia

Tropical Storm Ophelia has quickly exploded to Major Hurricane Strength, now being a category 3 with sustained winds at 120 mph. It is quite amazing what wind shear can do to a tropical system. This cyclones life, until about 72 hours ago, was encountering some strong upper level wind shear that was preventing this system from developing.  At one point, it weakened to a depression with the National Hurricane Center giving it one a 10% chance of the system developing back again. Just as the cyclone weakened, upper level wind shear began to weaken and the depression quickly reorganized into a tropical storm again. About 24 hours ago, the National Hurricane Center had most computer models increasing the storm to a category 1 hurricane. Apparently the upper level wind shear was still weak and other atmospheric conditions suggested the hurricane to continue to grow and that is exactly what happened. It quickly exploded to category 3 strength. Currently the closest piece of land near its track is Bermuda. The island is currently under a tropical storm watch. The hurricane is not expected to weaken much but is expected to track east of the island meaning that the left bands of the system will cross over Bermuda. That part is where the weaker winds are located thus why only a tropical storm watch has been issued and not a hurricane watch.  Bermuda is outlined in yellow which signifies the tropical storm watch. So far no watches has been posted for parts of Canada, however that may change in the next day or two as Ophelia gets closer. The system will begin to weaken after passing Bermuda as it enters cooler waters and then turn to the east over the far northern Atlantic Ocean.

Beloved masters, there is an ebb and flow rhythm in the ascension process. You will experience a period of intense activity created by challenging and mind-expanding experiences, followed by a desire to turn inward and a need for contemplation and solitude.

You are striving to develop a strong Soul-consciousness, which will eventually become the dominating force within your life. Your mental consciousness and emotional consciousness were meant to be under the direction of your Soul-Self and not controlled by your ego personality. Illumination and spiritual awareness begin with the mental body / the mind. To achieve Self-mastery, it is vitally important that you seek the Light of the intellect. Conscious awareness begins when you become aware of the bigger picture so that you may see both sides of a controversial scenario. You must learn to be a keen-minded observer of life, and you must be willing to withhold judgment. A master does not need to constantly have an opinion or to always try to influence those around him/her. A spiritually evolved person is to offer the truth as it has been revealed to him/her and to encourage others to seek their own truth as it is unveiled to them.

The frequencies of unconditional love begin in the mid-fourth dimension and increase with each higher sub-dimension. Below that the frequencies are too fractured and discordant. The polarity of good and evil was not part of the original Divine plan. The Divine Blueprint was designed so that you, the Sparks of God-Consciousness, could experience duality. It was to be an experiment in diversity, in opposites, within an accepted spectrum of Light and shadow. It was never meant to be a reality of good versus evil.

The great INBREATH OF ASCENSION means that you are being urged, via the consciousness Time Seed Crystals encoded within each and every Soul, to end your descent into the lower realms and to begin the ascent back into the higher realms of Spirit. However, first you must experience and heal the miscreations stored within your physical vessel and within the astral body / plane of consciousness. You must claim ownership of your miscreations and the negative imprint you have created down through the ages. No longer will humanity be able to blame the Devil or Satan for all the pain, suffering, chaos and destruction of the past and present times. You must acknowledge and claim ownership of all your creations from the most loving, refined frequencies to the lowest, most discordant thought forms.

We implore you to let go of your old, negative, established view of death.DEATH IS NOT AN ENDING. IT COULD BE LIKENED TO A COMPLETION OF A PROJECT AND THE BEGINNING OF A NEW, WONDROUS ADVENTURE. Each lifetime has a major theme and the cast of players are specifically chosen because they have the characteristics needed for each unique part in your personal, grand production.

YOU ARE NOT YOUR BODY, YOU ARE PURE CONSCIOUSNESS encased within a costume of flesh. As you have done thousands of times before, when you leave the earthly plane, you will discard your physical body for garments of Light, and in due time you will prepare for another great adventure in a new reality. As you gain Self-awareness, you will develop a Divine curiosity and an intense desire to begin a new personal spiritual quest. You will develop a sense of adventure as you delve into the mysteries of the cosmos, and the Divine Plan will begin to unfold at your level of awareness. It is important that you understand that each major transformational, human progression involves cosmic wisdom in a new form to fit the forthcoming cycle of evolution.

The components of life and all things possible come to you as formless Seed Crystal Cells of great potential. You supply the necessary thought forms, which are infused into the dormant Seed Crystal Cells, and then you must ignite them with God Fire, the Adamantine Particles of God Light, with your loving intention.

Understanding the laws of vibration is required in order to become a master builder on the material plane of existence. You must learn to manipulate thought matter efficiently. The major requirement is developing strong, focused mental abilities.

Beloveds, now is the time for you to display your newly refined cocreator abilities, for humanity and the Earth need your Love/Light more than ever before. Remember, we have repeatedly stressed the fact that the Adamantine Particles of Creator Light must be activated with your focused, loving intention before this wondrous gift may be used as fuel for material manifestation purposes. No longer can anyone deny the fact that the Earth and humanity are in the midst of an Earth-/Soul-shaking time of transformation. The negative vibrational patterns of fear, anger and desperation are spewing out at an astonishing rate into the frequency band of astral plane mass consciousness which surrounds the Earth. Daily, it is growing more difficult for the average person to stay in a positive mode and to envision a bright, joyous future. You are in the midst of the times of great change that you, the Star Seed, have been preparing for in many past lifetimes. Again, we tell you, as a World Server you have the capability of neutralizing the negative thought forms of thousands of people who are functioning in the limited environment of the third/fourth dimensions. Now is the time for you, my earthly Legions of Light, to step to the fore and take up your blazing sword of Light so that you may do your share in overcoming the destructive dark forces of humankind: fear, judgment, greed, selfish, ego-motivated and power-seeking intentions/actions.

SOLAR WIND BLASTS MERCURY: At a NASA teleconference yesterday, researchers working with data from the Messenger spacecraft offered new evidence that gusts of solar wind are penetrating Mercury’s magnetic field and eroding material off the planet’s surface. The spacecraft has actually flown through plumes of ionized sodium scoured from the surface and escaping from weak points in Mercury’s magnetosphere. Click here and scroll down to “Presenter #4” for relevant data and images.

Another “scouring event” could be in the offing. The Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) observed two farside CMEs on Sept 29th, and one of them is heading for the innermost planet:

Using observations from SOHO and the twin STEREO spacecraft, analysts at the Goddard Space Weather Lab have modeled the trajectory of these CMEs. The one on the left should hit Mercury on October 1st at 02:13 UT +/- 7 hours. Forewarned, mission scientists for the Messenger probe can be attentive to the CME’s arrival and observe its effects on Mercury.

According to the CME’s forecast track, the cloud will hit Venus later the same day. The ability to forecast CME impacts on other planets is a new development in space weather forecasting made possible by NASA’s deployment of spacecraft around the full circumference of the sun.

Amino Acid Treatment for Reversal of Tooth Decay

Researchers at the University of Leeds have developed a peptide-based fluid known as P 11-4. When applied to a decayed tooth, P 11-4 forms a gel-like scaffold that attracts calcium to help rebuild your tooth. As the University of Leeds reported in a press release:

“In practice, this means that when applied to the tooth, the fluid seeps into the micro-pores caused by acid attack and then spontaneously forms a gel. This gel then provides a ‘scaffold’ or framework that attracts calcium and regenerates the tooth’s mineral from within, providing a natural and pain-free repair.”

When the fluid was tested on a small group of adults with early tooth decay, results showed P 11-4 successfully reversed the damage and regenerated tooth tissue. This is the latest data from what appears to be a promising new dental strategy. Similarly, in 2008 scientists were also able torebuild dentin and remineralize some parts of the teeth with the help of a calcium-containing solution of ions.

Regenerating your tooth from within is a far superior option to the “drill-and-fill” model currently used today, and it appears to be a technique that may soon be widely available in dentists’ offices. Aside from the obvious benefit of tooth regeneration while sparing people the pain and fear of having a tooth drilled, this new procedure could virtually obliterate the use of toxic mercury fillings (if our efforts don’t get them banned first!) …

If You Have a Cavity, Resist This Archaic Dental Procedure

The very process of “filling and drilling” a cavity is a rather outdated practice, but so far there has been no other practical solution to remove the damaged areas of a tooth and “repair” it. But, adding insult to injury, about 50 percent of U.S. dentists are still using mercury to fill cavity-ridden teeth — even though exposure to mercury, the most toxic and more vaporous of the heavy metals, can harm your kidneys, permanently damage your child’s developing neurological system, and even kill your unborn child in the womb!

To implant amalgam, a dentist drills out healthy tooth matter in order to carve the crater necessary for amalgam placement — a primitive process that irreversibly weakens tooth structure. With a damaged tooth structure and with a metal-based filling that expands and contracts with temperature changes, teeth with amalgam are much more likely to crack years later, necessitating additional dental work.

Amalgams are quick and easy. Dentists make more money per chair per day implanting mercury. For factory-style dentistry, where teeth represent dollar signs instead of part of a human being, dentists drill, fill, and bill. The term “drill, fill, and bill” is a joke aspiring dentists learn in dental school. But when it comes to mercury – it’s no joke. Please realize that mercury vapor from amalgams passes readily through your cell membranes, across the blood-brain barrier, and into your central nervous system, where it can cause psychological, neurological, and immunological problems.

Yet, even though it may be a few years before P 11-4 and other tooth-regenerating fluids are widely available, there are solid alternatives to mercury fillings available right now. One of the most popular is resin composite, which is made of a type of plastic reinforced with powdered glass. Unlike amalgam, resin composite does not require the removal of significant amounts of healthy tooth matter. Over the long term, composite preserves healthy tooth structure and actually strengthens teeth, leading to better oral health and less extensive dental work over the long-term.

A lesser-known alternative is atraumatic restorative treatment (also called alternative restorative treatment or ART), which relies on adhesive materials for the filling (instead of mercury) and uses only hand instruments to place the filling, making it particularly well-suited for rural areas of developing countries.

So the simple act of limiting, or eliminating sugar, and avoiding processed foods — along with regular cleanings with your natural mercury-free dentist — will ensure that your teeth and gums stay healthy and cavity-free naturally.

Researchers have found that the artificial sweetener sucralose (Splenda) is a widespread contaminant in waste water, surface water, and ground water. In a recent test, water samples from 19 U.S. drinking water treatment plants serving more than 28 million people were analyzed for sucralose. The sweetener was found to be present in:

  • The source water of 15 out of 19 of drinking water treatment plants tested
  • The finished water of 13 out of 17 plants, and
  • In 8 out of 12 water distribution systems

The average amounts of sucralose in source water and finished water was 440 ng/L and 350 ng/L respectively.

According to the study:

“Further, in the subset of [drinking water treatment plants] with distribution system water sampled, the compound was found to persist regardless of the presence of residual chlorine or chloramines … The results of this study confirm that sucralose [is] an indicator compound … for the presence of other recalcitrant compounds in finished drinking water”.

Recalcitrant compounds are organic or synthetic compounds that resist being broken down by chemical processes, such as those employed by water treatment facilities. This is troublesome, particularly as sucralose can be quite detrimental to human health, and the contamination appears to be very widespread in US water supplies.

Sucralose Destroys Healthy Bacteria

Three years ago, an animal study published in the Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health reported that sucralose:

  • Reduced the amount of good bacteria in the animals’ intestines by 50 percent
  • Increased the pH level in the intestines
  • Contributed to increases in body weight, and
  • Affected P-glycoprotein (P-gp) levels in such a way that crucial health-related drugs could be rejected. In terms of human health, this P-gp effect could result in medications used in chemotherapy, AIDS treatment and treatments for heart conditions being shunted back into your intestines, rather than being absorbed
  • Is absorbed by fat cells (contrary to previous claims)

The fact that Splenda can destroy up to 50 percent of your healthy intestinal bacteria is truly disturbing as these help maintain your body’s overall balance of friendly versus unfriendly micro-organisms, and support your overall immunity and general health. Many people are already deficient in healthy bacteria due to choosing highly processed foods, which is why a high-quality probiotic is one of the very few supplements I recommend for nearly everyone. And now we discover that this artificial sweetener also contaminates a majority of US municipal water supplies as well…

Splenda has NEVER Been Proven Safe for Human Consumption

Did you know that only two human trials on sucralose were completed and published prior to the FDA approving Splenda for human consumption? And these two trials included a total of 36 human subjects. Worse yet, the longest running trial lasted only four days, and looked at sucralose in relation to tooth decay, not human tolerance. As for determining the absorption of Splenda into the human body, a mere eight men were studied. Based on that singular human study, the FDA allowed the findings to be generalized as being representative of and regarded as “safe” for the entire human population!

This is a potentially devastating mistake, as some groups are far more susceptible to adverse effects than others, such as infants, the elderly, and the chronically ill.

You’ve probably heard the claims that the FDA has reviewed over 100 studies on Splenda and are satisfied that it’s a safe product, but what you don’t hear is that most of those studies were on animals, and that they actually revealed plenty of problems! For example, some of these studies revealed:

  • Decreased red blood cells — sign of anemia — at levels above 1,500 mg/kg/day
  • Increased male infertility by interfering with sperm production and vitality, as well as brain lesions at higher doses
  • Enlarged and calcified kidneys
  • Spontaneous abortions in nearly half the rabbit population given sucralose, compared to zero aborted pregnancies in the control group
  • A 23 percent death rate in rabbits, compared to a six percent death rate in the control group

It May be Made from Sugar, But it’s Nothing Like it…

Don’t let the name fool you. Sucralose is NOT some magical calorie-free sugar, despite Splenda’s famous slogan, “Made from sugar, so it tastes like sugar.” It is in fact a chlorinated artificial sweetener cooked up in a factory, and scores of consumers have testified to its devastating effects. It does start off as a sugar molecule—to which three chlorine molecules are added. At the end of the patented process, the chemical composition of the sugar has been altered to the point that it’s actually closer to DDT and Agent Orange than sugar.

This type of “sugar” molecule does not occur anywhere in nature, and therefore your body cannot properly metabolize it. This is why Splenda is advertised as having “zero calories”—because your body cannot digest or metabolize it. Essentially, it passes right through you. Or at least that’s the claim. However, according to the available research, between 11-27 percent of sucralose is in fact absorbed into your digestive system, and according to the study mentioned above, it is also absorbed into your fat cells.

The question then becomes, just what kind of impact might a DDT- or Agent Orange-like molecule have on your health?

Furthermore, few people realize that only about one percent of that packet of Splenda is actually sucralose. The remaining 99 percent is maltodextrin—a type of sugar! Each packet actually has four calories, but because the amount of sugar is less than one gram, they get away with saying it has “no calories” due to a loophole in the labeling law.
