Window of The Great Change

Dear Ones,

We are about to enter into a window of the time that has no name, but is inside of the Mayan END OF TIME window that was connected to December 21, 2012 and will end in about three years.

This window begins on February 18th, 2013 and continues for about three and a half months until June 2nd, 2013. However, it could last for as long as the end of August if the circumstances change.

I feel it is important to be aware of this significant period of time and what it could mean for you.

There are three reasons why this window was created. Let me explain.

First, the Mayans long ago predicted that if they had to choose the moment when the shift from male consciousness to female consciousness would begin, they would choose the dates of February 18/19, 2013.  I wrote about this long ago. They see it like a sunrise that gets brighter and brighter each day.

At the same time, they said that they don’t really know for certain as it is Mother Earth that will decide exactly when the Mayan Prophecy will begin.

What the Mayans have told me about the 18th of February, 2013 is that it is the moment when the energy within Mother Earth begins to flow in a new pattern. I doubt if you will feel this in your daily life, but the Mayans say it is an important time in human history.

Second, NASA gave a public warning about a year and a half to two years ago concerning the solar flares.  It was a dire prediction. It will take a moment to explain.

In 2000, we had the Y2K scare, around the realization that if the calendars within the computers of the world were not repaired so they would read “2000”, the world’s computers would stop working on the moment the year 2000 rolled around. I am sure most of you remember those events well.

This caused governments of the world to more or less freak out.  The predictions were wild, but accurate.  If the computers of the world were to shut down, most of our material needs would not be met and life on Earth would be challenged, at the least.

Then a French man saved the world by creating a software program that corrected the computers and allowed them to continue working into the 21st century.

As time went on, the world continued its dependency on computer systems and today all aspects of our lives are controlled by it. The way everything comes to us; such as food, water, electricity, gasoline, parts, medicine, and on, is controlled by computers.

If the computers were to stop functioning today, the ramifications of the experience would be many times greater that it would have been in 2000.

It’s been analyzed that if the internet went down permanently, hundreds of millions of people would die within months simply because there is no food or water.

NASA predicted that during the height of the Solar Cycle 24, which we are entering very soon, all computer memories could be erased. Exception to that would be hard drives, DVDs, and etc that are in Faraday Cages, which shields its interior from external electro-magnetic fields and radiation.  If these memory drives were to be wiped clean, our entire electric grid around the world would fail.  The world would be in the black.  From there everything else would come to a stop.  NASA has calculated that this may happen sometime toward the peak of the solar cycle from about February to August of 2013 and could last between one and nine months.

This would be a major human disaster.

England didn’t believe NASA’s reports and researched their own data; they shortly replied by saying that they agreed with NASA.  Red flags went up around the world for the governments who now are preparing for this possibility.

Russia then came back with even a more dire scenario that extended beyond what NASA was forecasting.  You can read about this in the newest book, The Mayan Ouroboros.

We didn’t learn from our past mistakes with Y2K. We should have slowed down our dependency on computerized systems until we knew it was safe, but we didn’t even look back.  Instead, we expanded our use of computer technology globally as rapidly as possible. The world quickly forgot how vulnerable we are with computers and solar flares.

And then there is a third concern that matures during this same time period; the Earth’s geomagnetic field which is about to shift it’s polarity from North to South, and the effects of that on humankind.  I also wrote about this in The Mayan Ouroboros. Both of these scenarios are definitely necessary to understand, and both of them are inside the window we are entering in a few days on February 18th.

This geomagnetic field reversal is of greater concern for human life than anything that has ever happened in our memory including all the wars since WWI.

But why would I suggest ending the window on June 2nd, 2013 and not later in August? In the government’s remote viewing program back in the 1990’s, a team of expert psychics using their extra-sensory perceptions reported to the US military that something huge was coming to the Earth. They began to search into the future for when it happens.  When they viewed June 1st, 2013, the Earth was already damaged.  So whatever occurred has happened BEFORE June 2nd, 2013.  If this information is not accurate, then we have to continue to be cautious until the end of Solar Cycle 24. In any case, 2013 definitely looks like a year of dramatic change.

I am not here to create fear. That is not my purpose. I am here to bring your awareness to events that are occurring now by scientific standards. As citizens of the Earth, we need to be aware of these global transition events so that we can be prepared and not be surprised by them.

From a Mayan point of view, we must be ready to move into ascension at any moment over the next three years or so. This means staying in meditation, keeping your heart light as a feather and interconnected to your brain.

Now the question is, what can we do to prepare for both a rapid global change and ascension at the same time?  In my meditations it has become clear that I am to give you instructions so that you can make this change within yourself and ascend into the higher levels of Earth’s consciousness. I will do everything I can for you.

Very soon, hopefully before the end of this month, we will release   special instructions for those who know the Mer-Ka-Ba, either synthetic (Flower of Life) or natural (Awakening the Illuminated Heart™), on exactly how you can move from the 3rd dimension of Earth to the 4th dimension of the Earth.  At this time, this piece of knowledge will only be useful for those who have been practicing either form of the meditation.  It is the missing piece of knowledge that millions of you have been waiting for for years.

For the rest of you, you need to catch up as quickly as you can.  In order to assist new people learning this meditation, we will be creating a series of lessons available to you over the internet.  And if you wish to really accelerate your understanding and practice, you can go to The School of Remembering™. There you will have full access to a global school with certified teachers in a vast number of countries and in many languages ready to serve you.

Trust yourself.  You will know what to do.

Our filming studio, One Lotus Studios, is nearly completed; but until it is, we will share information with you in whatever manner we can.

Dear people, we are about to enter a time where you seriously need to be awake and prepare for inner and outer transformations that will change your life forever.

But please remember, if we successfully pass beyond the window of The Great Change, we are still in the timeline of the Mayan prophesy until we enter the year of 2016. The critical period of rapid changes will be over when we see a Red Star in our sky. Then we will enter into the change of order and harmony.

With great love for you, I promise, God willing, to help you.

From my heart,

2012: A Volcanically Quiet Year (So Far)

A brief explosion from Popocatépetl in Mexico on July 21, 2012. Popo has been one of the few volcanic newsmakers of the year. Webcam capture courtesy of CENAPRED.

One topic of discussion that has come up recently on Eruptions is how volcanically quiet 2012 has been so far. Unlike the last few years where there have been multiple significant eruptions that captured people’s attention, there have not been many such events in the past 7 months. Now, this is not to say that there hasn’t been volcanic activity – there has been plenty. However, we have not seen any large eruption that has been splashed across the media since Puyehue-Cordón Caulle  last fall … and not to tempt fate, but it was noted on Twitter last night that there hasn’t been a M7 or greater earthquake since April on the planet. We still have 5 months to go, but so far 2012 has been turning out to the the opposite of the Mayan apocalypse that some people are expecting.

However, is 2012 anomalous? Hardly! Just like when there is a strong uptick in volcanic/earthquake activity, this lull is likely mainly due to the random distribution of volcanic events. Sometimes we get clusters of larger eruptions, sometimes we get quiet times. One quick way to look at this is to think about the number of VEI 4 or greater eruptions over the past 10 years (as a small sampling):

  • 2012: 0
  • 2011: 3* (Puyehue-Cordón Caulle, Grímsvötn, Nabro)
  • 2010: 2 (Eyjafjallajökull, Merapi)
  • 2009: 1 (Sarychev Peak)
  • 2008: 3 (Kasatochi, Okmok, Chaiten)
  • 2007: 0
  • 2006: 1 (Rabaul)
  • 2005: 1 (Manam)
  • 2004: 0
  • 2003: 0
  • 2002: 2 (Reventador, Ruang)

* Note: The estimated eruptive volumes for some of the major eruptions of 2011 are not well quantified due to their location (amongst other things). Puyehue-Cordón Caulle was clearly VEI 4+, but Nabro and Grímsvötn are, at the most, VEI 4, likely below that threshhold of 0.1 cubic km of erupted material.

So far in 2012, no eruption reaches anywhere close to the VEI 4 mark, with the most activity centered around the ever-active volcanoes such as those in the Kamchatka Peninsula (especially Karymsky, Kizimen and Shiveluch), Sakurajima, Kilauea and Santa Maria. New arrivals such as Popocatépetl and Nevado del Ruiz, have only produced minor explosions while some rumbling volcanoes such as Iliamna and Rincón de la Vieja have yet to do much of anything at all. This is all normal for the volcanoes of Earth – sometimes they have a busy years with large eruptions like in 2011 or 2008. Sometimes there are none of the larger eruptions that capture everyone’s attention, but volcanism marches on in the form of smaller eruptions that keep that heat circulating from the interior of the Earth to the surface. In the past, this might have been explained by missing data – it was surprisingly easy to “hide” an eruption – but with the increased monitoring, especially through seismic stations worldwide and satellite imagery, it is hard to imagine a large eruption going on unnoticed on Earth**.

Like I said, 2012 still has 5 months to go, so all this talk of a “quiet” volcanic year might be wiped away with a large eruption. However, just as the times of increased activity don’t suggest that the Earth is “out of control” or “heading to heightened eruptions and earthquakes” due to any number of unfounded reasons, this period of relative volcanic and seismic quiescence doesn’t mean that the Earth is doing anything different that business as usual. (And as noted on Twitter, it also doesn’t mean this is the “quiet before the storm”.)

** Note: One might argue that submarine eruptions could go unnoticed. However, a VEI 4+ would leave telltale signs as well, including pumice rafts, strong seismicity and changes in ocean temperature (locally). As an example, the very small eruption from El Hierro in 2011-12, albeit in shallower water, was easily seen from space.

P.S. 2012 has been a very active year for our closest star, the Sun. Now, I won’t go too far, but why has the Earth been so quiet tectonically when the Sun has been so active? I’ll leave that to the folks who think the Sun somehow plays the dominant role in earthquakes and eruptions.

Ancient Text Confirms Mayan Calendar End Date

A newly discovered Mayan text reveals the “end date” for the Mayan calendar, becoming only the second known document to do so. But unlike some modern people, ancient Maya did not expect the world to end on that date, researchers said.

“This text talks about ancient political history rather than prophecy,” Marcello Canuto, the director of Tulane University Middle America Research Institute, said in a statement. “This new evidence suggests that the 13 bak’tun date was an important calendrical event that would have been celebrated by the ancient Maya; however, they make no apocalyptic prophecies whatsoever regarding the date.”

The Mayan Long Count calendar is divided into bak’tuns, or 144,000-day cycles that begin at the Maya creation date. The winter solstice of 2012 (Dec. 21) is the last day of the 13th bak’tun, marking what the Maya people would have seen as a full cycle of creation.

Now, researchers exploring the Mayan ruins of La Corona in Guatemala have unearthed a second reference. On a stairway block carved with hieroglyphs, archaeologists found a commemoration of a visit by Yuknoom Yich’aak K’ahk’ of Calakmul, the most powerful Mayan ruler in his day. The king, also known as Jaguar Paw, suffered a terrible defeat in battle by the Kingdom of Tikal in 695.

Historians have long assumed that Jaguar Paw died or was captured in this battle. But the carvings proved them wrong. In fact, the king visited La Corona in A.D. 696, probably trying to shore up loyalty among his subjects in the wake of his defeat four years earlier. [See images of the carvings]

As part of this publicity tour, the king was calling himself the “13 k’atun lord,” the carvings reveal. K’atuns are another unit of the Maya calendar, corresponding to 7,200 days or nearly 20 years. Jaguar Paw had presided over the ending of the 13th of these k’atuns in A.D. 692.

That’s where the 2012 calendar end date comes in. In an effort to tie himself and his reign to the future, the king linked his reign with another 13th cycle — the 13th bak’tun of Dec. 21, 2012.

“What this text shows us is that in times of crisis, the ancient Maya used their calendar to promote continuity and stability rather than predict apocalypse,” Canuto said.

La Corona was the site of much looting and has only been explored by modern archaeologists for about 15 years. Canuto and his dig co-director Tomas Barrientos Q. of the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala announced the discovery of the new calendar text Thursday (June 28) at the National Palace in Guatemala.

The researchers first uncovered the carved stone steps in 2010 near a building heavily damaged by looters. The robbers had missed this set of 12 steps, however, providing a rare example of stones still in their original places. The researchers found another 10 stones from the staircase that had been moved but then discarded by looters. In total, these 22 stones boast 264 hieroglyphs tracing the political history of La Corona, making them the longest known ancient Maya text in Guatemala.

Aliens in Bugarach – Safe Haven for 12/20/2012???

Hippies head for Noah’s Ark: Queue here for rescue aboard alien spaceship

Thousands of New Agers descend on mountain they see as haven from December’s apocalypse

A mountain looming over a French commune with a population of just 200 is being touted as a modern Noah’s Ark when doomsday arrives – supposedly less than nine months from now.

A rapidly increasing stream of New Age believers – or esoterics, as locals call them – have descended in their camper van-loads on the usually picturesque and tranquil Pyrenean village of Bugarach. They believe that when apocalypse strikes on 21 December this year, the aliens waiting in their spacecraft inside Pic de Bugarach will save all the humans near by and beam them off to the next age.

As the cataclysmic date – which, according to eschatological beliefs and predicted astrological alignments, concludes a 5,125-year cycle in the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar – nears, the goings-on around the peak have become more bizarre and ritualistic.

For decades, there has been a belief that Pic de Bugarach, which, at 1,230 metres, is the highest in the Corbières mountain range, possesses an eery power. Often called the “upside-down mountain” – geologists think that it exploded after its formation and the top landed the wrong way up – it is thought to have inspired Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth and Steven Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Since the 1960s, it has attracted New Agers, who insist that it emits special magnetic waves.

Further, rumours persist that the country’s late president François Mitterrand was transported by helicopter on to the peak, while the Nazis, and, later, Israel’s Mossad, performed mysterious digs there. Now the nearby village is awash with New Agers, who have boosted the local economy, though their naked group climbs up to the peak have raised concerns as well as eyebrows. Among other oddities, some hikers have been spotted scaling the mountain carrying a ball with a golden ring, strung together by a single thread.

A grizzled man wearing a white linen smock, who calls himself Jean, set up a yurt in the forest a couple of years ago to prepare for the earth’s demise. “The apocalypse we believe in is the end of a certain world and the beginning of another,” he offers. “A new spiritual world. The year 2012 is the end of a cycle of suffering. Bugarach is one of the major chakras of the earth, a place devoted to welcoming the energies of tomorrow.”

Upwards of 100,000 people are thought to be planning a trip to the mountain, 30 miles west of Perpignan, in time for 21 December, and opportunistic entrepreneurs are shamelessly cashing in on the phenomenon. While American travel agents have been offering special, one-way deals to witness the end of the world, a neighbouring village, Saint-Paul de Fenouillet, has produced a wine to celebrate the occasion.

Jean-Pierre Delord, the perplexed mayor of Bugarach, has flagged up the situation to the French authorities, requesting they scramble the army to the tiny village for fear of a mass suicide. It has also caught the attention of France’s sect watchdog, Miviludes.

A genial sexagenarian, Mr Delord says: “We’ve seen a huge rise in visitors. Already this year more than 20,000 people have climbed right to the top, and last year we had 10,000 hikers, which was a significant rise on the previous 12 months. They think Pic de Bugarach is ‘un garage à ovnis’ [an alien garage]. The villagers are exasperated: the exaggerated importance of something which they see as completely removed from reality is bewildering. After 21 December, this will surely return to normal.”

Masking his fears of what might happen on 21 December, Mr Delord jokes that he will throw a party and supply vin chaud and cheese. “I’m sure we’ll have a little fete to celebrate that we’re still alive,” he smiles. “I suppose it’s up to each of us to find our own way.”

Year of Destiny: 2012 Journey Through Time and the Cosmos! By Antot Masuka

The Mayans developed a simple yet comprehensive calendar system that allowed them to describe the internal processes of time or nature, often referred as an underworld, meaning that which goes on within that is often kept from plain sight.

The following article will be appearing in this month’s Winter Edition of ‘Ingress’ magazine, a publication of The National Council for Geocosmic Research NCGR

The Mayans used a Vegesimal system that rises by factors of twenty, with one exception.  A day is a Kin.  Twenty (20) Kins is a Uinal.  Eighteen (18) Uinals represents a Tun (360 days).  Twenty (20) Tuns is a Katun (7,200 days).  Twenty (20) Katuns is a Baktun (144,000 days).  A Pictun consists of 2,880,000 days, a Calabtun is 57,600,000 days and a Kinchilitun is 1,152,000,000 days or 3 million 154 thousand years, Alautun, which is 20 tuns raised to the sixth power or 63.1 million years and finally a Hablatun, 20 tuns raised to the 7th power or 1.26 billion years.  Each cycle is broken down into thirteen stages, evolutionary processes or heavens that evolve from seed to maturity.

The idea that December 21, 2012 may bring the end of the world is based on the Aztec Sun Disk (shown above) that shows 5 ages or Sun gods.  The first Sun god Tezcatlipoca took the form of a jaguar and destroyed the world.  The world was destroyed by a great wind when the reign of the second Sun god, Quetzalcoatl, came to an end.  Tlaloc was the third Sun god, but Questzalcoatl wasn’t happy and made fire rain down causing destruction and the end of that age.  The fourth Sun god was Chalchiuhtlicue (lady of the jade skirts), the goddess of water – lakes and streams.  The fighting gods caused a flood, which destroyed the Earth.  The fifth Sun were two gods, Tecciztecatl and Nanauatl.  The gods decided that the first to offer his life in a blazing fire would be Sun god. Both jumped in creating two Suns (bianry stars) that shun brightly.  The gods wouldn’t stand for this, so they threw a rabbit into the face of Tecciztecatl to dim his brightness.  And so he became the moon, doomed to chase the sun forever, but never to shine as bright.

Many authors believe that we are living in the fifth and final Mayan world age or cycle that started on August 11, 3114 BC.  Our present world age that started in 3114 BC consists of 5,125 years.  When you insert the Aztec creation story that describes five world ages of creation (four of which have passed) into the Mayan Long Count calendar the number of years is close to a precession year lasting 25,625 years (5,125 times 5).

Many authors believe that four world ages came immediately before the start of the Mayan calendar in 3114 BC, but the historical records do not support the existence of such earlier cycles or ages that we can easily fit into a neat package of 5,125 years periods going back into time or readily associate with the Aztec Sun Disk.  No author has offered dates for these four previous world ages that can be used as a guide to understanding the cycle that started 3114 BC.  Some claim that the prior world ages or cycles were longer than the fifth world age that started 3114 BC. Dr. Paul LaViolette believes that some earlier cycles lasted up to 820 million years for the Age of the Jaguar or Mammalian Age.

Scientist and author, Maurice Cotterrell, The Super Gods and The Mayan Prophecies, strongly insist that this period is not the completion of a cycle that can be attributed to the Mayan calendar.

In fact Cotterrell argues that the Mayan calendar goes beyond 2012 to include other cycles far into the future that exceed 1,872,000 days and that “at best it can only be considered to be 13/20ths of the Pictun, the next largest period” that began on August 11, 3114 BC.

Zacharia Sitchin, author of The Twelfth Planet believes that The Age of Man, a time when human beings were given dominion over the Earth, started around 3,100 BC.  The Mayan universe that started on August 11, 3114 BC corresponds to the start of ‘The Age of Man’ described by Sitchin.  This date also corresponds neatly with the starting dates of civilizations that seem to spring up from out of nowhere in Sumer, Egypt, India and further east in China.  Mênes was the first Egyptian Pharaoh to unite Upper and Lower Egypt starting the 1st Dynastic Period dated around 3,100 BC – 3,200 BC defining the apex of Egyptian civilization. On the Atlantic side of the globe, early Mayan and Mesoamerica civilizations took off as well with new monolith constructions at Palenque, Mexico.

Sitchin own viewpoint is that Mayan 2012 prophecies hold no particular significance, and does not mark the return date for Nibiru often referred to as Planet X.

John Van Auken of the Association of Research and Enlightenment, Virginia Beach, Virginia identifies the world ages as 1) Age of the Jaguar, 2) Age of Water or the Fish, 3) Age of Fire, 4) Age of Turkeys, 5) Age of Movement, 6) Age of Spirit of All Living Things, and 7) Age of Melting Into Oneness Again!  He believes that we are ending the Age of Movement on December 21, 2012, the image in the center of the Aztec Sun Disk surrounded by four diagonal squares, entering the Fifth Sun or Age of Spirit of All Living Things after which we will enter the last and final Age of Melting into Oneness Again.  He does not offer dates for when the sixth or seventh world age will end, but notes that Nostradamus saw into the future well up to 3797 AD.

The idea that December 21, 2012 may bring the end of the world is based on the Aztec Sun Disk that shows 5 ages or sun gods.  The first Sun god Tezcatlipoca took the form of a jaguar and destroyed the world.  The world was destroyed by a great wind when the reign of the second Sun god, Quetzalcoatl, came to an end.  Tlaloc was the third Sun god, but Questzalcoatl wasn’t happy and made fire rain down causing destruction and the end of the age.  The fourth Sun god was Chalchiuhtlicue (lady of the jade skirts), the goddess of water – lakes and streams.  The fighting gods caused a flood to destroy the Earth.

The date of origin of the Mayan Long Count calendar is August 11, 3114 BC, representing a cycle of 13 Baktuns which ends on December 21, 2012.  But the real meaning of the ending of this cycle is open to debate since most of the records and inscriptions which were written by the Mayans in the Classical period (250 BC – 900 AD) that would have given us an unequivocal understanding of what the closing of this stage or heaven truly means were destroyed by Europeans who conquered the Americas during 15th and 16th centuries.

Contemporary Mayans living in the Yucatan, Mexico and the greater part of northern Peru and Central America believe that when this world ends, possibly through annihilation or destruction around December 21, 2012, another world shall begin!  Will this renewal come from Super Gods as Cotterrell maintains is unknown.

Contemporary Mayans also believe that each world age was part of an evolutionary cycle designed to perfect life in the world. They believed that man’s perfection will be achieved at the end of this world age.  In their view, the world will not end suddenly in 2012.  Man will be recreated anew!  There will be a new beginning after the end of this world age to allow life to continue, only that the new world will be very different from the one in which we live.  These views are very much in line with the spirit, myths and cosmology mastered by Mayans living on the Classical period, but they are not rooted in any specific Stela or inscription found at Mayan archaeological sites that can be quoted authoritatively.  Part of the reason for this is that Mayan prophecies and cosmology is still part of a secret order of Mayan elders who use the oral tradition of passing knowledge and wisdom from one generation to another.

Maurice Cotterrell argues against ideas proposed by John Major Jenkins that the winter equinox of 2012 shall come into direct alignment with the Galactic Center.  Cotterrell believes that this is not accurate nor is it scientifically valid.  If any such alignment were to take place it would not occur at a single moment in time because of the vast area that the center of the galaxy represents, which is still under debate by scientists.  The Sun’s crossing of the galactic center would most likely take a greater period of time exceeding the proposed 36 years advocated by proponents of this theory.

In Cotterrell’s viewpoint, it is impossible to accurately calculate the line for the galactic elliptic. To do so would require knowing the mass of the galaxy, a task which science has not yet undertaken.  Proponents of this argument claim that the Sun will cross an imaginary galactic elliptic, that is only a guess, between 1980 and 2016, which includes December 21, 2012 as one of those dates robbing it of its mystical Mayan Long Count calendar meaning and significance.

For the Mayans, the dark rift near the center of the Milky Way galaxy marks the black road to the underworld.  This is visualized as a celestial mouth akin to the vagina from which new life emerges.  The emergence of Lord Xibalba is synonymous with birth.  The appearance of the Sun from the dark rift would be a natural point in Mayan cosmology indicative of a new beginning from some ending point.  December 21, 2012 seems to suggest that some ending of the current world order will take place around this date triggering a renewal of life on Earth shortly thereafter.

Many cultures celebrate winter solstice as the death, burial and resurrection of the Sun.
On the 20th of December the Sun is mythical killed (stops in the sky), buried on the 21st (stationary on the elliptic), and resurrected on the 22nd (increase in declination moving towards the summer solstice).

There is no shortage of ideas, opinions and speculations of what will happen when the Mayan Long Count calendar ends on December 21, 2012, which has fed a frenzy of news stories, articles and media publications!

Nevertheless, when you closely examine the Mayan Calendar system, some interesting facts emerge that tie into cycles found in nature.  For example, the 400-year Baktun cycle is equivalent to the amount of time it takes the Earth’s core to rotate around a fixed point on the surface.  The twenty-year Katun cycle corresponds to the time it takes the Earth’s magnetic field to rotate around a fixed point on the surface.

The Mayan Calendar allowed them to accurately record the cycles of other planets.  Venus was particularly important to the Mayans.  Its dual rising in the east and the west forms a Vesica Piscis representing the incarnation of spirit into matter, which is the basis of all life on planet Earth.  Being the brightest celestial object in the night sky, Venus is associated with the star of Bethlehem.

Mayan 2012 prophecies that relate to the Mayan Long Count calendar come from The Book of Chilam Balam of Tizimin.  These prophecies state that:

  1. “In the final days of misfortunes, in the final days of tying up the bundle of the thirteen (baktuns) … then the end of the world shall come and the baktun of our fathers will ascend on high.”
  2. “Presently the Baktuns thirteen shall come sailing… Then the god will come to visit his little ones. Perhaps ‘after death’ will be the subject of his discourse.
  3. “These little valleys of the earth shall come to an end. For those katuns (7,200 days) there shall be no priests, and no one believes in his government without having doubts”.

Don Alejandro Cirillo is the elected leader of the National Mayan Council of Elders of Guatemala and a thirteenth generation Quiche priest.  He believes that 2012 shall be characterized by major earth changes, probably earthquakes and floods, but most significantly by a darkening of the Sun that will last many days where electricity will fail, crops will fail and we will not be able to buy clean water, fresh food or fresh air.  When the Sun returns, this will signal the start of a new world age.

2012 is expected to bring about the fifth world of creation, marked by the return of ether, the fifth element allowing for the fusion of polarities changing forever the nature of material things and the start of the fifth root race according to Edgar Cayce.

Some researchers believe that when the boundary of the galactic plane is reached, you get a kind of Coriolis Effect, changing or reversing the resonance we experience coming from the galactic center.

The Mayans calculated the orbit of Venus with amazing accuracy and detail.  Venus transits the Sun in pairs of transit 8 years apart.  On June 6, 2012 Venus will transit the Sun.  Venus last transited the Sun on June 8, 2004.  In 2004, Ronald Reagan died three days before the Venus transit took place on June 8th.  And two days after the transit, the beloved Ray Charles passed away as well.

The Mayans considered the first appearance of Venus as an evil omen and considered it to be a good day for warfare.  They viewed the transit as the warrior twin of Venus.  The first sighting of the morning star that was frequently represented by bloody situations.  The Mayans glyph for the Venus transit shows the Chief holding the severed heads of his enemy with blood trailing from the victim’s neck.

Prior to June 2004 transit, the last transit occurred in 1761 and 1769.  Future Venus-Sun transits will occur in December 2117 and December 2125.

Major Earthquake coming for North America at about 8.0 magnitude.  Once this earthquake strikes the west coast of California, they shall not stop.  The eastern side of the Pacific Ring of Fire shall become activated forcing people to move from California to Arizona and adjoining states.  Watch the San Joaquin Valley! This earthquake is likely to send oil and food prices soaring, triggering massive inflation and collapse of the dollar.

A major earthquake shall also strike Northwest, USA in the Montana/Wyoming/Colorado area east of the Rockies!

6.1 – 6.6 million people shall be overtaken by earthquakes.

Florida shall come under heavy flooding around June 2012.

USGS world earthquake activity map on the Internet shall show lots of earthquakes striking all over the world, all at the same time, throughout Asia, Middle East, and Europe in an almost even-spaced distribution!  These earthquakes shall range from 5.0 to 7.0 magnitude.

Some researchers believe that we may experience a reversal of the Sun’s polarity that may trigger the possible reversal of the Earth’s magnetic field, which all could be triggered by a celestial phenomenon coming from out of the dark region of the Milky Way Galaxy.

Neptune ingress of the astrological sign of Pisces on February 4th, 2012 promises to fulfill the meaning of the word ‘Maya,’ which means illusion.  Illusion is a veil of consciousness.  Being the ruler of the mutable signs, Neptune sits on the rim of the known versus the unknown.  It promises that we shall have new thoughts and ideas of things that we have never thought of before.  The mysteries of Mayan prophecies and 2012 predictions shall be revealed to us as time marches on, but few if any will have their expectations met on what Mayan 2012 prophecy and cosmology is all about.  One thing is almost certain, as we move through 2012 to meet 2013 and 2014, the Mayan Long Count calendar shall give birth and impetus to a new string of research and understanding that shall transform our understanding of astrology, astronomy and cosmology forever!

Much of the current world order is crumbling; the environment is under attack.
In almost every sphere of life things seems to be falling apart.  It is self evident that we are reaching an ending of some sort, a point of crisis if you wish – terminal saturation according to Riley Martin!

At a minimum, Mayan 2012 prophecy assurance us that a new world is coming, that there shall be a new beginning, a new dawning and new recreation of the current world order. Our role and place in that world is unknown.  We saw what happened to the Mayans, how they were brutally treated by their conquerors. We also saw what happened to just about every other civilization since the dawn of creation.  Case in point, the Library of Alexandria; how those precious, irreplaceable books were burned three times over the course of history just to extinguish their light.  The people of enlightenment throughout the ages and the history of the world since the start of the Mayan Long Count calendar in 3114 BC have all been under attack and most have been destroyed.  No period was more destructive than the Age of Pisces (55 BC to 1781 AD) that brought us into total darkness and complete utter ignorance.  Conquerors hate light, they hate to assimilate or learn from those whom they conquer.  There is no reason to believe that we will be spared similar fate, catastrophes, annihilation or destruction.  Nothing under the Sun gives us that divine right and privilege.  It seems to be the path of nature to destroy and recreate.

At best, we can look around and observe what is dying and what is on the rise in our personal life and in society. We have lost faith in government.  Pastors and priests no longer serve us anymore.  Money is abundant but not evenly distributed.  In the abundance of great wealth, people and animals are dying and suffering.  Technology is on the rise.  How will the blessings and seed of technology become our worst nightmare in the future?  Already this is expressing itself in the unemployment lines.  There needs to be a realignment of values.  But how will this come about?  Who will start it?  What will trigger a realignment of the global society?  These are the unanswered questions that Mayan 2012 prophecies beg us to ponder.

We have reached a point in time where oil, money and technology can no longer sustain us.  Venus transit of the Sun shall demand that we seek the natural order questioning intensively the road upon which we have traveled since the fall in 9,500 B.C.  We have moved out of the Golden Age, the Garden of Eden of prehistory and have developed a profound understanding and control of natural forces and have uniquely developed the capacity to dominate and extinguish all life forms on planet Earth.  On the verge of committing ecocide, we have become the agent of death for the world’s ecological system.  Who or what shall become our agent of death other than ourselves?  Within the twinkling of an eye we have become space travelers embarking on a planetary and cosmic journey of inter-galactic dimensions.

Mayan Long Count calendar and predictions ask us to question our role in the universe and on the planet in particular.  We can no longer hide from the enormous burdens and responsibilities that the new age demands of us as individuals or as a society.  Mayan 2012 prophecies demand that we pay close attention to detail least we delude ourselves into believing that we are in any way, shape or form different from our brothers and sisters that walk this Earth or any of the creatures of the land, air and seas that live in the flesh.

We are on the cusp of our own evolutionary path that shall lead to a higher human form that is now in the process of being changed or re-birthed!  Since our creation, but more accurately, since the event of the Flood, we have been in the midst of two different evolutionary paths: one of the masters of space and time and the other of the extinct hominids that preceded us.  As time marches on, we are slowly and slowly being disconnected from the path of the sky gods and native hominids, and more and more we are coming into our own being of who we are and were intended to be.  Hence, the development of man is not complete, and for this we must press on and be prepared to endure a lot!

The Eye of the Storm

By Julia Griffin

After passing through the end of the Mayan calendar, dark astrological predictions and prophecy with bleak portent, we caress the concept of light through dates like 11-11-11. The internet turns ripe with speculation, bearing rumors of days that bestow enlightenment, with hope of a great dispensation—salvation from travail on earth. In truth, numeric sequences and astrological configurations only offer energetic frequencies as potentiality.

Kali Yuga–which is the last of four periods of time in Hindu religion, referring to a time of great darkness when people are as far removed from God (source-consciousness) as possible–approaches its end. The New Age is also referred to as the “apocalypse”, defined as the lifting of the veil and revelation of the hidden truth. It’s a real possibility that the corner has been turned; yet, we continue to wait for illumination, as a respite from chaos, the upheaval of the Shift of the Ages.

Wild weather rages through the world with tsunamis, droughts and snowstorms. Outer structures crumble, while finances teeter on a dangerous roller coaster ride. New science discovers the value of intention, including the reprogramming of the DNA through positive affirmation, emotion and action. Princeton’s Global Consciousness Experiment monitors global consciousness, proving that group emotions make a measurable impact on the world. “Everything is energy” is the catch phrase of the new century, but the desired enlightenment is often illusive.

We can seek shelter in the storm of polarities, the riot of energy experienced as part of the coursing change, through the simple tenets of hermetic law. By abiding in the safe habitat of these laws, the final product offers “centering”, the practice of balanced thought, spirituality, emotion and body. The spectacle of centering is actually the desired result of all alchemy, represented in the marriage of opposites. Sacred geometry presents the concept of centering through figures such as the dodecahedron and the stellated dodecahedron, which are also depicted in Kabala as the “Tree of Life.”

Shift of the Ages

The current changes of light and earth frequency emphasize the necessity of centered thought and action. Knowledge of the “storm of the shift” brings insight to accelerate understanding of personal and global challenges.

Acknowledgement of the need for centering is important, but comprehension of “The Turning of the Ages” is required for perception of the implications and inherent possibilities, as conferred by a given point in time and space.

“The Turning of the Ages” is loosely defined as the movement of the sun through all of the astrological signs, as a completion of a twenty-six thousand year earth cycle. The sun moves through an astrological sign in about 2,160 years, comprising an “Age.” The turning of the ages bestows additional light for the evolution of the soul. (It’s important to keep in mind that self-mastery is key to soul evolution.)

In each Age, an element predominates and influences mass consciousness, including icons and symbols. The last Age, the Piscean Age, was symbolized by the element water and two fishes swimming in opposite directions. (Previous ages include the ram or Aries during the time of Moses and the bull or Taurus during the Egyptian reigns.)

The Aquarian Age is governed by an air sign, ruled by Uranus, which influences the quantum field or akasha. (Aquarius is symbolized by a man pouring water into the air or akasha, and the highest emanation of water/emotion is love. The akasha is ruled by Uranus.) It’s interesting to note the influences of the Aquarian age or the movement toward the Quantum Field or the akasha. Man or Woman is composed of four bodies: spirit and mind (fire + air=electrical) and emotions and body (water + earth=magnetic), thus we are electro-magnetic beings on an alchemical basis.

The akasha is the substance that links each of us on a psychic basis, operating as a long distance telephone for our thoughts and emotions. (Thus, a person receives your true feelings, regardless of words or expressions. As the akashic element strengthens, the likelihood of transmitting one’s true emotions or thoughts is heightened.) The akashic field also links us to higher emotions, such as love, joy and gratitude. The fifth sense, or intuition, is regulated to the Field or the akaska. The element of the akasha unifies — it is literally the experience of the One in the All.

The change in earth frequency/consciousness has been referred to as the crystalline grid. A grid acts as a planetary blueprint for the organization for all the structures of life. It distributes and aligns the elementary components, including life force and the planetary frequency spectrum. Some speak of the geometric structure as the stellated dodecahedron or Christ grid. They tell us that the Stellated Dodecahedron is about adding conscious awareness — impeccability, self-responsibility, and integrity — as a means to the open heart to create Christ Consciousness realization.

The properties of a crystal include amplification of the reception and projection of frequencies or waves. If we consider the earth’s structure as taking on a more crystalline formation, then it’s easy to speculate that the population’s inner communication (inner dialog) is broadcast at a higher, more rapid frequency. In the past, radios operated on crystals, and the extension of the antenna determined the band of reception. As an analogy, the inner state acts as an antenna, dictating the broadcast received by the senses.

Earth scientist, Greg Braden, identifies the shift of the ages as associated with the loss of magnetism and/or possible polar shift. According to Braden, the earth pulses in a Base Resonant Frequency, which is the heart beat of Earth. It has increased in frequency from 7.8 cycles per second in 1958 (Schumann Frequency) to approximately 9 cycles per second in 1996, with a projection of 13 cycles per second at the time of the actual shift of the ages. This increased frequency also affects the pulse of the physical body.

Metaphysically, magnetism refers to emotion and sensation (water and earth elements) in the human body. If the heart frequency of the earth and population rise, then perhaps we will shed the lower emotions and sensations, which are commonly experienced in life as separation and suffering. When unity consciousness is achieved, even momentarily, there is only perfection and light.

Unity consciousness is the sensation of experiencing “reality” as an individual in union with the “all.” Alchemically known as the realization of First Matter, it is a glimpse of the underlying fabric of the universe through an open heart chakra. Centering is part of this experience, but the practice has many applications, which exist in many philosophical systems –ranging from Hindu, Tibetan and Chinese physical/meditative practices to those described in Hermetics.

At its height, the practice aspires to the achievement of alchemical balance within the chakras and/or elements of the body—and the more esoteric details are revealed through symbolism. Regardless of the system or complexity of practice, centering refers to the balancing of the elements—fire, air, water, earth and akasha, of the human form (including meridians and chakras.) The value of centering lies in the cultivation of a higher state, so that the seeker is lifted above momentary problems and sights the divine order of the universe.

Whenever the true order of the universe reveals itself, order is regulated in the material world. Whether through a feeling of calm, composure in the mind, vitality of the physical body, or inspirational movement of the soul, centering offers a different perspective of the world. It lifts us above our troubles and into the safe hands of the divine, where all good abides.

Centering begins in the heart by seeking a spiritual connection with the Divine. It is most effective when the seeker concentrates on the heart area by breathing in and out, while imagining balance between the upper and lower three chakras. The practice of similar exercises develops awareness of the inner truth of the heart chakra. The heart becomes the guidepost, and the axiom states, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is.”

The concept behind the meditation is detecting the directive of the heart space at all times. This state comes through continually living in a state of prayer, which leads toward love. A state of love, or high frequency state, is needed to transcend the illusion of separation. The illusion of separation relates to the concept of suffering—and only connection with divine can supersede this human condition or provide protection from storms in the inner or outer world.

Practical Notes and Tips

Many forms of centering are mentioned extensively in spiritual teachings. The simplest exercises consist breathing in light; breathing in pain and breathing out light; imagining a state of centeredness between the planet and the heights of the universe; and observation of the self.

– The shift of the ages brings a great dispensation of light; however, the new energies can be disconcerting—often causing imbalance from the influx of new energy. It’s helpful to realize that the emotional states and thoughts may last for a few days or weeks. One of the lessons on the soul journey is discarding preferences—just because we feel one way on one day doesn’t mean that we won’t feel differently on the following day. Work for acceptance of both states and remember — in the big picture, we live in an exciting time.

– Metaphysics theorizes that all problems result from vibrating at a lower frequency. Through identification with a problem, we typically “think” or review the problem at regular intervals. This process is known as resonance. Answers to difficult problems are rarely found in the logical mind, so it’s helpful to work for a “jump” or leap in consciousness.

– Staying with a meditation practice can be a life saver, and the endorphins generated by exercise help incredibly. These two practices balance mind, body and emotion.

– Energy from other people can impact your field. As consciousness grows, many people discover that they “feel” the person next door or read the thoughts of a co-worker on a psychic level. Intuitive readers are emphatically aware of the presence of “other people” when reading the field of an individual. For example, everyone has experienced a sudden emotional plummet when visiting with an unhappy person. Our energy fields over-lap and affect one another, particularly when encountering truth about world conspiracy or earth changes. (Global Conciousness)

– Observation is one key in the shift. Observe phone calls, trips, errands and note energy level before and after encounters. Change communication accordingly. Ask often to be cleared from other people’s energy or mass consciousness, particularly after visits or interaction with media, such as television or even you tube.

– Physicist Werner Heisenberg postulated that observation causes an electron to exist. It doesn’t exist prior to observation or measurement. He stated, “Atoms form a world of potentiality or possibility rather than one of things or facts.”(Werner Heisenberg) Stay focused on your personal, positive vision of the world, and don’t allow the media’s take on world events to rock your inner world.

– The identification of any troubled state as part of our personal consciousness can be freeing. Whether or not we actively participate, some part of our psyche is attached to the overall scheme of events. Often, the best solution lies in patience. Clear guidance can come from objective observation, acceptance of a state and meditative awareness.

Ultimately, human beings, who quest for enlightenment, work for the accomplishment of balance in the physical and spiritual worlds. Mastery is earned through work. When in a centered state, we no longer move between the illusory and real, for it is possible to perceive the fabric of the invisible spiritual world, as well as its direction. We are also open to the voice of the higher self, which directs our motions and advises us well. It is in this state of consciousness that we perceive the beauty and flaws of the physical world with compassion and gratitude, so that love and light meet with us, as companions on the path of enlightenment.

11/11/11: How Friday Is Tied to the Mayan Apocalypse

Some believe the end of the Mayan calendar, Dec. 21, 2012, will usher in a new spiritual era or even a doomsday. And it so happens the timing of next year’s winter solstice may have led to a link between 11/11/11 and this Mayan apocalypse.

Friday’s numerical date is written out as 11/11/11. And for some people, that number sequence is more than a coincidence or inevitability — it’s a spiritual signal linked to 2012 Mayan prophecies of both doom and spiritual renewal.

Nov. 11, 2011 mythologies are pervasive on New Age corners of the Internet, with believers suggesting that 11/11 numerical sequences are signals from angels or numbers with hidden meanings. Even people who think little of numerology are finding meaning in the day: The Orlando Sentinel reports that Walt Disney World will host 11 weddings on 11/11/11.

But perhaps the most intriguing 11/11/11 mythology to pop up is the number’s link with the supposed 2012 Mayan Apocalypse. The ancient Mayan long-count calendar ends on Dec. 21, 2012, and some people believe that this date will usher in a new spiritual era, or even doomsday. Nov. 11, 2011 most likely became linked with Dec. 21, 2012 when believers noticed that the U.S. Naval Observatory had set the exact time of the 2012 winter solstice for 11:11 Universal Time on Dec. 21, according to John Hoopes, a scholar of Maya history at the University of Kansas.

It’s essentially based on the notion of synchronicities,” Hoopes told LiveScience. Synchronicities are meaningful coincidences, he said. And while everyone has a psychological tendency to find minding in random patterns the subcultures that believe in 2012 mythology tend to be those that dabble in psychedelics and cannabis, drugs that increase feelings of synchronicity.

“If it seems like the 2012 mythology was thought up by people on drugs, it’s because it was,” Hoopes said.

The meaning of 11

Indeed, the U.S. Naval Observatory now lists the official time of the 2012 winter solstice, when Earth’s tilt is angled as far away as possible from the sun, at 11:12 Universal Time on Dec. 21. This has not stopped 2012 believers from focusing on the 11:11 time.

In part, this is because 11:11 mythology has been floating around online for some time. The website holds that noticing a clock when the time is 11:11 is a signal from “1,111 fun-loving Spirit Guardians, or Angels.” Other times, such as 12:12, 10:10 or 12:34 are messages, too, according to the site.

These numbers may seem special to people because they stick in our minds, Hoopes said. No one remembers looking at the clock when the numbers don’t make a pattern.

“People are more likely to remember 11:11 than they are, say, 4:29 or 6:53 or 3:17 or something like that,” Hoopes said.

Psychologists call the temptation to find patterns in random data pareidolia. This phenomenon is also responsible for visions of the Virgin Mary in toast or other objects.

Once you accept 11 as a meaningful number — whether because it looks so symmetrical or because you keep seeing it on your digital watch — it’s easy to find the number everywhere. One article on the website ties together the Mayan calendar, the terrorist attacks of 9/11, the average length of polarity reversals of the sun’s magnetic field, and the author making post number 1111 on a 2012 message board.

“The sun having an 11.11 year cycle, the winter solstice of 2012 falling at 11:11 and people all over the world finding themselves bombarded with 11’s [sic] just as science is predicting some kind of majestic solar event at the peak of this current cycle seems more than coincidence,” the author writes.

(Solar activity does indeed peak about every 11 years, potentially disrupting satellite communications, but according to NASA, there is no special risk associated with 2012 and the peaks are not expected to be different than previous historical peaks.)

11/11/11 Predictions

With all these 11s to pluck from, 11/11/11 predictions are flowing fast. New Age adherents have predicted everything from end-of-world scenarios to the ushering in of a new spiritual era.

“The buzz on the net and on Twitter and elsewhere is that 11/11/11 is the unofficial start of the 2012 metaphysical year,” Hoopes said.

Even moviemakers are cashing in on the action, with a horror/thriller movie titled “11-11-11″ set for release on the date. The plot of the movie centers on a scary, mysterious force that will enter the Earthly realm at 11:11 on 11/11/11.

Non-commercial predictions tend to be more positive than doom-centered, however. The number 11 is seen as a signal that all people are one, for example, and the date is more likely to be seen as an end to greed and disconnection than as an end to humanity. That puts 11/11/11 prophets in a different class than those such as Harold Camping, who predicted a Biblical doomsday in late October.

MAYA’S COMPLETION: The Astrology of the 9th Wave

By Salvador Russo

An awakening is taking place upon planet Earth that will forever change the course of our future as a civilization. At long last mankind will begin to fulfill its Divine potential and create a world of peace, prosperity, and ever-increasing achievement. Central to this collective ascent is that human consciousness is evolving in revolutionary fashion. Although darkness blankets the nations a great cosmic truth is dawning: that cycles and order are inherent in Creation and that on October 28th, 2011, as the 9th Wave of the Mayan Calendar completes, humanity will have finally become qualified to receive Cosmic Consciousness.

The Mystery

For millennia, the Mayan priesthood has kept a powerful secret. This secret is encoded within what today is loosely called the Mayan Calendar which the average citizen aptly equates with impending catastrophe. An agenda of insidious design has deceived the populace as to what the true nature of the Mayan Calendar is: a sacred system that reveals the relationship between the evolution of human consciousness and Creation itself.

The Mayan Calendar emerged during what is called the Mayan Classic Period which extended from approximately 250AD to 900AD. During this time the Maya most notably distinguished themselves from neighboring civilizations by conceptualizing two remarkably advanced calendric achievements: the Long Count and the Great Cycle. These concepts form the crux of the Mayan system and permit one to understand the evolutionary nature of Creation since its advent.

The Cycles

The Long Count is in essence a system of cyclical increase which culminates in what is called a Hablatun. The Hablatun is a cornerstone in the Mayan Calendar and it corresponds with what is referred to as a Heaven. A Great Cycle, also known as a Wave or Underworld, consists of 13 Hablatuns, a number that is very sacred to Creation. Furthermore, and of vital importance, exists the Sacred Round, also known as the Tzolkin, which is a 260 day calendar comprised of an interrelating sequence of 13 and 20. It becomes evident upon study that the Maya were intimately aware of the harmony that exists between the cosmos and our Solar System.

Before one can appreciate the synergy between these cycles, one must first understand our own. In doing so we must first travel back to ancient Greece and become acquainted with the work of their finest astronomer, Meton. His name graces the Metonic Cycle, which is one of our most important cycles and is defined as follows: the number of lunar cycles, otherwise known as lunations, required for a New Moon to return to its exact astronomical point of reference, to the precise degree. Though Meton’s estimations of this cycle are admirable he was disadvantaged by the lack of modern telemetry systems that we enjoy today. His estimation of the lunations required to complete this cycle fell short; he theorized 235 when in truth the count is 260.

The mystery of Maya unravels with Meton. Consider that the length of one lunation is 28 days and that there are 13 such lunations in each Solar Year. If we divide the Metonic Cycle’s lunation count of 260 by 13 we are left with 20, meaning that it takes 20 Solar Years to produce one Metonic Cycle. Our luni-solar math perfectly mirrors that of the Mayan Sacred Round which consists of 13 Tzolkin Trecenta Cycles and 20 Tzolkin Day Cycles which permute to produce 260, the same number of lunations in a Metonic Cycle. The Metonic math parallels the Tzolkin math.

The Reckoning

This connection has remained hidden because the true length of our year has been long corrupted. As was given to the great prophet Enoch by the holy angel Uriel a year is comprised of four equal 90 day quarters which are partitioned by the four equinoxes. The seasons combine for 360 days and when the four equinox days are added the result is an eternally perfect solar year of 364 days. Without dispute we understand a lunar cycle to be a perfect and eternal 28 day period. Wouldn’t the solar cycle also be perfect and eternal? See that 28 by 13 is 364 and not 365! Is Creation not perfect? Has anyone ever lived a partial day?

Mirrored Math

Further correlation can be seen between the lunation count of a Solar Year and the Hablatun count of a Mayan Underworld – mysteriously they are both 13. Further still our seven day week corresponds to the seven day Mayan Creation Cycle. Our 52 week Solar Year matches the length of the 52 year Mayan Calendar Round. Our 13 lunations per Solar Year parallel the 13 Trecenta Cycles in the Sacred Round. The 20 years in our Meton match the 20 Days in the Sacred Round. The 260 lunations in our Meton pair to the 260 Days in the Tzolkin. While the parallels are striking they don’t end here.

Remarkably there is also an extraordinarily synchronistic display that occurs between the sequence of the Metonic Cycle and the aspect ratio between the Mayan Underworlds – they are perfectly equivalent. The sequential reduction of time between each subsequent Mayan Underworld is always a divisible of 20 and a multiple of 13 which you will recall are the core numbers that formulate the Metonic Cycle. The planets in our Solar System also play their part; our cast of nine compliments the nine Mayan Underworlds. As well, another connection is uncovered, hidden in the synodic cycles of our planets. A synod is the time that elapses between successive planetary conjunctions from our Earthly point of reference. When we sum the mean synods of our planets and divide by the sacred number 13 we arrive at 260, the count of the Mayan Sacred Round.

Universal Alchemy

By far the most staggering parallel that exists between the Mayan Calendar and our own Solar System is revealed when we compare our equinoxes to the Mayan Great Cosmic Cycle. The Great Cosmic Cycle represents the evolution of consciousness from creation to cosmic, from Zero Point to Ninth Wave, as well as a way to measure eternity. The number of this cycle is 819 and its factors are seven, nine, and 13, numbers that correspond to the seven day Creation Cycle, the nine Underworlds, and the 13 Hablatuns. To the Mayans the 819 cycle represented a quadrant of the universe. Naturally, this would mean that their cycle for the entire universe would be 819 by four, leaving us with the sum of 3,276.

Our Solar System’s microcosmic relationship to the universe becomes exceptionally clear when we divide the Mayan Universal Quadrant Cycle of 819 by our Solar Year Quadrant Cycle of 91 – the answer is nine, as in, nine levels of consciousness. When we divide the Mayan Universal Cycle of 3,276 by nine we are left with 364, the precise day count of our reckoned Solar Year. What we are seeing is alchemy on a universal scale, the above being the universe and the below being our Solar System! A rational mind is left to conclude that only an unfathomably resplendent power could be conducting such an ineffably majestic celestial symphony. This power is none other than Adonai, the Most High GOD.

Cosmological Constancy

The true nature and operation of the universe has been long contested by the great minds of times past. These minds searched for an irrefutable pattern that could prove that the expansion of the universe is intelligent and orderly, a theory called Cosmological Constancy. I humbly present through my analytical discoveries that Cosmological Constancy not only exists but that it is exemplified by the mathematical correspondences found between the cycles of the Mayan Calendar and the cycles of our Solar System. The synchronicities are undeniable and serve as a testament to the truth that there is order in Creation, Cosmic Order. After all, cosmos is Greek for ‘order.’

October 28th and Beyond

On October 28th, 2011 the world will shift. A deathblow to the false paradigm will be dealt and as it collapses a new, spiritually brilliant civilization will begin to emerge. As these Divine energies cascade throughout our planet profound personal and societal changes will occur. It is important to understand that there is nothing to fear, that the changes should be welcomed, and that fear of these changes will sabotage one’s ability to succeed in the coming world. Now is the time to align with the Order that one may grow instead of dwindle. Now is the time to cast off ways that obstruct ascension that one may embrace the opportunity of enlightenment that dawns. Remember always that the end of the Mayan Calendar is a reason to rejoice!

As sure as there are cycles in the cosmos there are death and rebirth cycles here below. Accept that the death of the world we have known all our lives is a necessary and infinitely beneficial part of the Divine Plan; welcome it wholeheartedly as it leads to the Kingdom of Heaven. As some are more advanced than others now is the time to come together as a human family to help one another through this process. As the dynamics of social power become cosmically aligned new leaders will emerge. Spiritual power will lead to public power, as was always intended. Remember that we must show compassion for those who are maligned because in truth it is only they who will suffer; lead by example. For those who are awake this will be an era of personal and public glory unlike any other where increase will be experienced in all ways, within and without, above and below.

Mother Nature will also prosper as she will begin to be healed and come alive in ways never before seen as a result of this energy. The rise in consciousness will prompt benevolent extraterrestrial intelligences to view humanity as equals instead of subordinates. They will begin to select ambassadors to serve as intermediaries between races. Like all things, diplomacy will soon go cosmic.

My Message to the World

If there were one message I could deliver to the hearts and minds it would be this: look to the Heavens as there is great wisdom there! The life of the cosmos mirrors our life here below. The greatest mystery I have ever discovered unfolds for us all, eternally, each day, perfectly, and invisible to naked the eye. Raise your minds to the celestial sphere and your eyes below will change. You will begin to see perfection in all directions, purpose behind every problem, and opportunities to ascend at every angle. Astrology is the science which enables us to perceive the Order. It is a gift, a treasure, the language that translates above and below. A language kept hidden and ridiculed for long, a language I’ll deliver as sweet as a song. To the best of my ability you will see what I see, my work rests in humility, repeat after me.

In service to Our Father who art in Heaven,

Astrologer Salvador Russo

11/11/11: Maya Scholar Debunks Doomsday Myths

ScienceDaily (Nov. 3, 2011) — University of Kansas anthropologist and Maya scholar John Hoopes and his students are watching predicted doomsday dates such as 11/11/11 and Dec. 21, 2012, with considerable skepticism.

Hoopes is regarded as one of the major go-to guys to separate fact from fiction about the Maya calendar and a prediction that the world would end Dec. 21, 2012.

He has written scholarly articles debunking the 2012 myth, including a chapter in “2012: Decoding the Counterculture Apocalypse,” edited by Joseph Gelfer and scheduled for release this month by Equinox Publishing. In addition, Hoopes contributes to Wikipedia as a 2012 skeptic and is featured in at least three documentaries on the topic (“Apocalypse 2012″ airing on CNBC, and two more scheduled for release next year). In his fall course on Archaeological Myths and Realities — An Introduction to Critical Thinking, the 2012 myth works as a dynamic teaching tool.

This fall, Hoopes and his students have watched two predicted cataclysmic dates — Oct. 21 and 28 — come and go with little fanfare. Oct. 21 was a date selected by California evangelist Harold Camping after his original May 21, 2011, prediction passed without calamity. Swedish pharmacologist, self-help advocate and self-taught Maya cosmologist Carl Johan Calleman was among those predicting that Oct. 28 would usher in a worldwide unified consciousness.

The next big date to consider is 11/11/11, when many in the New Age movement plan celebrations to receive emerging energies in preparation for a transformation of consciousness on Dec. 21, 2012.

Whether these dates mark a time for transformation of consciousness or a catastrophic end, they are part of a 2012 eschatological myth that originated with Christopher Columbus and Franciscan missionaries, not the ancient Maya calendar, Hoopes emphasizes.

In a paper presented in January at the Oxford IX International Symposium on Archaeoastronomy in Lima, Peru, Hoopes tracks the 2012 Maya myth origins through various revivals into the 21st century. The myth is rooted in an early 16th-century European combination of astrological and biblical prophecies to explain the new millennium. Columbus believed that his discovery of the world’s “most remote land” would lead to Spain’s re-conquest of Jerusalem and fulfill world-end events described in the Book of Revelations.

To validate his convictions, Columbus wrote his own Book of Prophecies that included an account of his interview with a “Maia” leader in 1502. The reference inspired early speculation by explorers and missionaries, indirectly influencing crackpots as well as scholars to link ancient Maya — before any contact with Europeans — with the astrological and religious beliefs popular in Europe in the 1500s.

Misinterpretations and distortions flowed with each revival of interest in Maya culture. In the 1960s, the myth re-flowered as the dawning of the Age of Aquarius, enjoyed a resurgence in Y2K and thrives today. Hoopes adds that the Occupy Wall Street movement clearly reflects a nostalgia for the progressive culture of the 1960s.

More than 1,000 books have been published on the 2012 myth, not to mention a plethora of Web sites on the topic. Hoopes expects the hype won’t hit its peak until well into 2012. Fear and fantasy both sell well, especially in uncertain times, he notes.

End-of-the-world and transformative beliefs are found in many ancient cultures but have been a fundamental part of modern times since 1499, Hoopes point out. They are also fundamentally American, he adds.

“The United States has always embraced religious freedom. Peculiar religious sects, including occult beliefs, have always been part of America,” he says.

Astrology, Ouija boards, séances, channeling, spiritualists, extraterrestrial life and a host of pseudosciences all have had acceptance in parts of America, he adds. Mary Todd Lincoln used séances to contact her son. Nancy Reagan consulted astrologists.

Wishful or magical thinking help perpetuate myths and beliefs that have no basis in science. Hoopes uses the 2012 myth and others to teach students to think critically and learn to distinguish science and myth.

“If a narrative has a moral message, then it probably is not a scientific story. Stories based in science ideally should be objective, not subjective,” Hoopes says.

The persistence of the 2012 myth may reflect a fear of mortality that has nagged ancient and modern civilizations.

“It’s much easier to discuss mortality when we’re all in the same boat,” Hoopes said. “Creating a concerned community allays people’s fears and allows us to project individual morality onto the world.”

Hoopes’ interest in the 2012 phenomenon began as an academic hobby and has evolved into an anthropological study of contemporary American culture. At the very least, he says, the 2012 phenomenon “has made a huge audience aware of Maya calendrics and the winter solstice.”
