Looking Within

The Seven Essene Mirrors

mirrorGregg Braden – The Essenes constituted an ascetic Jewish group or sect which existed from around 150 BCE until AD 70. They related to other religious-political groups, such as the Sadducees. The name Essene comes from the Syrian term asaya, and the Aramaic essaya or essenoí, all with the meaning of doctor, passes through Greek orum (Greek Therapeutés), and, finally, by esseni of Latin. The Essenian form is also accepted.

The Essenes have left us a beautiful analysis of human relationships. They separated into seven categories the way we relate in the course of our lives.

Wisely, they called these categories “mirrors.” Every moment of life our inner reality is mirrored in the actions, the choices, the language of the people around us.

The First of the Essene Mirrors

Refers to what we send to the one who is closest, in the present moment Do we feel anger, fear?

We mirror anger and fear. Do we feel joy and happiness? We echo joy and happiness. The first Essene mirror of human relationships is that of our presence in the present moment. The mystery of the first mirror is focused on what thing we send in the present moment to the people around us. When we are surrounded by individuals and models of behavior in which the feeling of anger and/or fear dominates, or it can be of joy and happiness, the mirror works in every way, what we see in the first mirror is the image of what we are in the present moment.

The Second of the Essene Mirrors

Subtler than the first, this mirror tells us about our judgments in the present moment. We can say that it refers to what is imposed on us “subtly.” They are the models that are imposed on us. This mirror suggests the question: “Am I mirroring myself at this moment?” The second essential mirror of human relations has a quality similar to the previous one, but it is a bit subtler. Instead of reflecting on everything we are, it shows what we judge in the present moment. If you are surrounded by people in whom the behavior model causes frustration or triggers feelings of anger or bitterness and realizes that these models are not yours at that moment, then ask yourself, “Are you showing me myself in the present moment?” If you can honestly say no, there is a good chance that it is showing you what you are judging at that moment.

The Third of the Essene Mirrors

It refers to that beautiful sensation when we look into someone’s eyes, and we are drawn to it when something magical happens, and we want to spend as much time as possible with this person. The explanation is that we find in these cases something that we have lost, that we leave behind, to survive in this world.

These magical encounters mirror something we have lost, abandoned, or been taken away from. The third essential mirror of human relations is one of the easiest to recognize because we perceive it every time we are in the presence of a person and look into our eyes. Something magical happens at that moment. In the presence of this person, we feel like an electric shock, the hairs are creeping. What happens at that moment? Through the wisdom of the third mirror is allowed access to Innocence, we renounce much of ourselves to survive the experience of life. We can lose without us noticing the self-control exercised by those who have a particular “power” over us.

Sometimes when we are faced with people embodying the same things that we have lost in the past and are looking for to reach our totality, our body expresses a physiological response that we understand as a kind of magnetic attraction for that person. You stand before someone, and for whatever unexplainable reason you feel the need to spend more time with that person, ask yourself, “What is this person have that I have lost or abandoned or been taken away from me?” The answer may surprise you since you have almost always recognized a sense of familiarity with virtually everyone who passes you by. This is the mystery of the third essential mirror of human relationships.

The Fourth of the Essene Mirrors

It is qualitatively different from other mirrors. We talk here about compulsive behaviors and addictions. In this mirror are certain behaviors that give both importance and great value, we eventually reorganize our lives to welcome them. When we talk about addiction, dependence, and compulsion, many people just imagine the drugs and alcohol, which are certainly capable of creating such behaviors.

We are not just talking about them, but some more subtle addictions, such as family control, dependence on sex and others.

The Essene fourth mirror of human relations is somewhat of a different quality. Often over the years, we adopt behavioral models that become so important that we can reorganize the rest of our lives to be able to live with them. Often such behaviors are compulsive and could influence the creation of addiction.

The fourth mirror of human relationships allows us to observe ourselves in a state of dependence and compulsion. Through these feelings, we slowly give up the things that are most valuable to us. That is, as we yield to compulsion and addiction, we slowly give up the things we love most.

The Fifth of the Essene Mirrors

Perhaps the most intense of all mirrors, the fifth mirror refers to the way we live our lives. This mirror shows us how much our parents had influenced our lives. Heavenly Father and Mother, the masculine and the feminine, represent our parents, so everything that refers to how we live our divinity on Earth is related to our parents. Through their relationship or from what we have learned with our parents, our beliefs and vision of God are born. If we always feel judged or have the feeling of “not being able or sufficient in what we do,” it reflects our relationship with our parents.

This allows you to see better and more deeply why we live life in a certain way. The fifth mirror shows us our parents and the interaction with them.

This mirror asks us to admit that our actions about us reflect our beliefs and expectations regarding what is sacred to us, namely our Heavenly Father and Mother, the Sacred Masculine and The Sacred Feminine aspects of our Creator. It is through our relationship with our parents that we realize our beliefs and expectations about God, the creator, or what is most important to us.

The Sixth of the Essene Mirrors

Called “dark night of the soul,” this mirror reflects that through challenges and difficulties we can overcome with grace and ease. Each difficulty shows us the possibility of overcoming and reaching higher levels of mastery. In this mirror, we can lose everything we have, be naked before the “dark night of the soul” to find trust in Life.

The sixth mirror of human relations has a rather sinister name, it is known by Ageless Wisdom as the “Dark Night of the Soul.” It means that every challenge we face in our lives is a test. These are lessons we must learn to “develop” our soul. However difficult it may be, we must always act calmly, wisely and even a little coldly, not reacting to things, so that we can finally learn from that experience we are going through. Is exactly as Albert Einstein said that it is at the time of greatest crisis that we grow and learn more.

The Seventh of the Essene Mirrors

It is the subtlest and often the most difficult mirror to be accepted. It asks us to believe that any experience in our life is perfect. No matter the result, here we are invited not to follow the limits imposed by others. The only goal and point of reference in our life must be ourselves. It is the simplest, and perhaps the most difficult to be believed. The seventh mystery of human relationships shows you that everything that happens in your life is in Divine Order. Just know this and manage your feelings about events. The Universe takes care of everything entirely.

What Time Is It?

Time is Speeding Up; Really!

| November 14, 2016

Time is Speeding Up; Really!

When I say, “Time is speeding up,” people just look at me and say, “It’s just because you are getting older.” I don’t think so. There is evidence that time may in fact be speeding up.

Firstly, one must understand that time is relative. Traditionally, we think of time as being a constant in the universe, but it’s not. Einstein proved that. His calculations showed that the closer an object comes to the speed of light, the slower time passes. Scientists have done experiments that prove Einstein’s theory to be correct.

So, if Einstein’s theory is correct, then the opposite must be true; if our speed decreases, time will speed up! Researcher Gregg Braden says that is exactly what is happening. The rotation of the Earth is slowing down, and time is speeding up. Evidence for his assertions comes from the Schumann Resonance. The Schumann Resonance is, in layman’s terms, the heartbeat of the Earth. In scientific terms, it is the Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) of the Earth’s magnetic field. In the 1950’s when the Schumann resonance was discovered, it was recorded to be an average of 7.8 Hertz. Now, according to Swedish and Russian researchers, says Braden, it is an average of 12 Hertz. That means that the normal 24-hour day feels like a 16-hour day. In essence, we’ve lost one-third of our normal daytime.

Interestingly, the Bible predicted this would happen. It reads, “And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.” (Revelations 8:12).

However, if time is speeding up, how come the clocks aren’t speeding up? Why don’t the clocks on Earth indicate a 16 hour day? That’s a great question! I have the same question, and I don’t have a scientific answer for you. My best guess would be that the speed of the electrical pulses on Earth is somehow tied to speed of the rotation of the Earth. This would explain why a two-hour movie, still takes two hours to play by our clocks. But, how can the speed of the rotation of the Earth affect anything on Earth (other than time)? Well, we know for a fact that the Earth’s magnetic field has been weakening at a parabolic rate. And since magnetism and electricity are so closely related, wouldn’t this have an effect on the electricity of the planet?

Furthermore, Mr. Braden says that the Earth’s rotation will eventually stop with respect to the sun, and start rotating the opposite direction. Scientists have known for a long time that there have been reversals in our Earth’s magnetic field once about every 10-12 thousand years, but they don’t know why or how. Gregg Braden provides us with an answer. Our Earth is a gigantic magnet. In elementary physics, we learn that if you change the direction of the rotation of the electro-magnetic we reverse the direction of the magnetic field.

That, as it may be; I wonder how is it possible that so many people are oblivious to the acceleration of time? If you’ve ever seen the movie, “The Cube,” you might get the picture. In one room of the cube, time was slower; and in another room of the cube, time was faster. However, to the perceiver inside each room, time seemed constant. They were completely unaware of the change in the speed of time, except when the characters looked into another room, from without. That’s why many people today, think that I’m crazy to suggest that time is speeding up; because it is nearly imperceptible. However, I use benchmarks to measure time. Like when I was a child in the car looking out the window. As my father accelerated very slowly, I could not feel the acceleration, but I saw the fence posts going by faster and faster. The fence posts were my benchmarks.

The benchmarks that I use today to perceive the acceleration of time are as follows. I cannot teach the same amount of material in one 40-minute lesson that I could two years ago. I cannot get the same amount of work done in an 8-hour work day as I could two years ago. I cannot get the same amount of tasks done in a 24-hour day as I could two years ago. Am I the only person who has notices these things? No. Just do a Google-search for “time is speeding up” and you will see 37 million web-pages that deal with the issue of time speeding up. Some of the authors of the aforementioned websites have made the connection between Gregg Braden’s work and Terence McKenna’s work entitled, “Time-Wave Zero”. Mr. McKenna’s work is fascinating. In a nutshell, he took the 64 ideograms from the I-Ching and mapped them in a linear fashion onto a 2-dimensional graph. He got a “time wave”. When he placed the “time wave graph” over a time graph of World history, he noticed some amazing correlations. The peaks of the “time wave graph” matched significant events in world history. While that is interesting in and of itself, the most interesting thing is that the wave ends on December 21, 2012. At that precise point, the wave hits the zero line on the graph, and Terence McKenna interprets that as the end of time. There will be no time. We will be in a state of being where there is NO TIME.

Even more interesting is what Gregg Braden says. He says that when the Schumann resonance hits 13 Hertz, we time will speed up to infinity. How he arrived at that conclusion is beyond me. However, some new-agers have interpreted this to mean that we who will be living on planet Earth when that happens will experience a shift in consciousness. The veil of secrecy will be lifted. We will then become cognizant of all the lies that we’ve been told by politicians, historians, and the like. Furthermore, it is told by the ancients that the veil between this mortal realm and the spirit realm will dissolve. We will be able to freely converse with those on “the other side”. If what the new-agers and the ancients predict is true, I personally can’t wait.

COnscious Creation via Gregg Braden

Gregg Braden – The 20 Keys Of Conscious Creation

Story by: John Sapp (www.bodymindsoulspirit.com)

An excerpt from “The Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles, and Belief” by Gregg Braden

20 Keys of Conscious Creation

Key 1) The Divine Matrix is the container that holds the universe, the bridge between all things, and the mirror that shows us what we have created.

Key 2) Everything in our world is connected to everything else.

Key 3) To tap the force of the universe itself, we must see ourselves as part of the world rather than separate from it.

Key 4) Once something is joined, it is always connected, whether it remains physically linked or not.

Key 5) The act of focusing our consciousness is an act of creation. Consciousness creates!!

Key 6) We have all the power we need to create all the changes we choose!!

Key 7)  The focus of our awareness becomes the reality of our world.

Key 8)  To simply say we choose a reality is not enough!!

Key 9) Feeling is the language that “speaks” to the Divine Matrix. Feel as though your goal is accomplished and your prayer is already answered.

Key 10) Not just any feeling will do. The ones that create are without ego and judgment.

Key 11)  We must become in our lives the things we choose to experience as our world.

Key 12) We are not bound by the laws of physics as we know them today.

Key 13) In a holographic “something” every piece of the something mirrors the whole something.

Key 14) The universally connected hologram of consciousness promises that the instant we create our good wishes and prayers, they are already received at their destination.

Key 15) Through the hologram of consciousness, a little change in our lives is mirrored everywhere in our world.

Key 16) The minimum number of people required to “jump-start” a change in consciousness is the /1% of a population.

Key 17) The Divine Matrix serves as the mirror in our world of the relationships we create in our beliefs.

Key 18) The root of our “negative” experiences may be reduced to one of three universal fears (or a combination of them): abandonment, low self worth, or lack of trust.

Key 19) Our true beliefs are mirrored in our most intimate relationships.

Key 20) We must become in our lives the very things that we choose to experience in our world.

Almost universally, we share a sense that there’s more to us than meets the eye. Somewhere deep within the mists of our ancient memory, we know that we have magical and miraculous powers within us. From the time of childhood, we fantasize about our ability to do things that are beyond the realm of reason and logic. And why not? While we’re children, we have yet to “learn” the rules that say miracles can’t happen in our lives.

Each of us has the innate power to heal ourselves completely from any mental issue, emotional wound, and physical disease we may be experiencing.  Despite what the majority of the world believes and has hypnotized you to think since birth, you have the natural ability deep within your being to consciously and permanently relieve yourself from any pain, illness or disease.  By intentionally connecting with a deep reservoir of healing energy buried inside your core, you’ll create a regenerating effect that spreads a healing reaction throughout your body and mind.

The moment you first touch and squeeze the nectar from this awesome internal energy, a deep wave of joy penetrates your body.  There are many delightful sensations secretly hidden inside your being.  It is only through this sacred meditation practice below that you can unlock these feelings and allow the release of healing to take place.  It is at this moment that you realize how divinely perfect this life actually is, and how powerful the mind and body truly are.

The first step to initiate your awesome healing transformation is to accept the possibility that you were born with the all-natural God given power to heal yourself.  You can instantly bring lightness and wholeness into the cellular memory of any dis-ease.  Once this idea is accepted, and fully embraced you have officially begun the journey of self-healing.

A Different Take on Law of One Harvest

As always, do your research, check out alternate sources, see what you feel in your heart:

What Does The Law Of One ‘Harvest’ Really Mean?

Updated August 14, 2014 by in5d Alternative News Gregg Prescott, M.S.
Editor, In5D.com

There is a big difference between being one with Source versus being harvested like an ear of corn in order to bring yourself to the next level of spiritual progression.

According to the Law of One:

Ra is claimed to be from the “Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator” and the books give an outline of a New Age description of evolution of consciousness; the concept of the soul (spirit, essence) is said to be reincarnating through these different levels or “densities:” 1st density being “mineral consciousness”, 2nd density being “vegetable consciousness and Ra is claimed to be from the "Confederation of Planets in the Service of the Infinite Creator" and the books give an outline of a New Age description of evolution of consciousness; the concept of the soul (spirit, essence) is said to be reincarnating through these different levels or "densities:" 1st density being "mineral consciousness", 2nd density being "vegetable consciousness and animal consciousness", and 3rd density being human life, self-reflective consciousness.animal consciousness”, and 3rd density being human life, self-reflective consciousness.

The book argues that the goal of a soul is to “polarize” in one of two different directions: “Positive polarization” (labeled as “service-to-others“) through identifying with others empathetically, or “negative polarization” (labeled as “service-to-self“) through “separating” the self from others. Souls are said to “harvest” and proceed to the next level once they are properly “polarized”.

Ultimately, there should only be 2 laws:

  • 1) Love everyone.
  • 2) Respect everything.

I firmly believe the Law of One was channeled with honest intent by Carla Rueckert, as the archons, who keep us living in fear, were using Carla as a host for the harvesting of souls.  Much of the information is quite fascinating but once the rose-colored glasses are removed, then what are we Many people within this genre may feel guilty about spending time on yourself versus giving time and energy to others, but this is an unhealthy point of view. Try to think of your spiritual growth as being part of a team sport, like bowling. Each person tries to do their best while helping the team.really seeing?

Service to Self versus Service to Others

Many people within this genre may feel guilty about spending time on yourself  versus giving time and energy to others, but this is an unhealthy point of view.  Try to think of your spiritual growth as being part of a team sport, like bowling.  Each person tries to do their best while helping the team.

Ultimately, we should begin with loving ourselves and allowing that light to flow outwards. Additionally, there should be a balance between service to self versus service to others, so don’t feel badly if you’re meditating and trying to better yourself because in the end, everyone wins.

As above, so below

In this fractured universe, the premise of "As above, so below" is a prime tenet. While it can also be viewed as "As within, so without", it can also be viewed, "As long as there is someone above you (Gods, Archangels, Archons, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Priests, Popes, CEOs, etc...), there will always be people below you (Jesus, Yahweh, Yeshua, angels, vice presidents, Cardinals, managers, etc...)".In this fractured universe, the premise of “As above, so below” is a prime tenet.  While it can also be interpreted as “As within, so without”, it can additionally be viewed, “As long as there is someone above you (Gods, Archangels, Archons, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Priests, Popes, CEOs, etc…), there will always be people below you (Jesus, Yahweh, Yeshua, angels, vice presidents, Cardinals, managers, etc…)”.

We are equals with the infinite creator source who stands in the light of truth and love.

This is all part of a hierarchal (heir-archon) system designed to keep us enslaved through subservience, control and conformity. We are taught that we need this current system in order to prevent chaos, yet those who are "above us" know how to control the masses through fear. Even at the highest level of Freemasonry, their motto is "Ordo ab chao" which means "Order out of chaos". In an ideal society, order would emanate from truth and love but as we’ve seen, everything has been turned backwards and upside down.

By acquiescing to a harvest and being subordinate to higher forms of consciousness, we are still trapped within a system of control and dominance, albeit a more socially acceptable one that we already live in.  The question is:  “What is the trade off?” and “What does a true harvest really mean?”

Granted, there are benevolent extraterrestrials who want to see us succeed as a global community, but they must respect our free will and are not supposed to physically interfere with our progressions, yet in this corrupted, fractured universe, many Universal Laws have been cast aside as we have been tricked time and time again into entering a system of reincarnation where our souls are recycled back into the matrix in order for those who feed off of our fears can be nourished. It was never supposed to be like this.

Are all forms of hierarchy bad?

Ideally, all systems of hierarchy would be eliminated and replaced with various forms of education that facilitates to the learners needs.

Who will be harvested?

The Law of One states:

Questioner: Am I to understand that the harvest will occur in the year 2011, or will it be spread?

Ra: I am Ra. This is an approximation. We have stated we have difficulty with your time/space. This is an appropriate probable/possible time/space nexus for harvest. Those who are not in incarnation at this time will be included in the harvest.

According to David Wilcock:

(Scott) Mandelker and I figure(d) out what the Law of One really said, within its OWN system, is “ALL are harvested REGARDLESS OF PROGRESS.”  The question is WHERE YOU GO once you pop through the worldwide “quantum leap.” Do you hang out in the astral planes for 100-150 years and holographically recreate what you already had, or do you start climbing the staircase of Ascension? At that point you have a choice.

Again, “all are harvested REGARDLESS OF PROGRESS” when the Earth moves out of 3D vibrations at the end of the cycle. A discontinuous event. Ra’s answer is VERY IMPORTANT, because once we know WHEN the planet “has moved through the useful part” of the third “dimension”, then we also know when “all are harvested regardless of progress”

To me, this does not sound like a free will choice.

Do you REALLY want to be “harvested”?

Imagine a fleet of UFOs who come to this planet for the "harvest". The extraterrestrials tell you that you are a service to others person and are ready for your next level of spirituality. They promise to bring you to either your planet of origin (Pleiades, Lyra, Arcturus, etc...) or to a 5th dimensional planet where you will no longer be held down in this 3rd dimensional reality. Imagine a fleet of UFOs who come to this planet for the “harvest“.  The extraterrestrials tell you that you are a service to others person and are ready for your next level of spirituality.  They promise to bring you to either your planet of origin (Pleiades, Lyra, Arcturus, etc…) or to a 5th dimensional planet where you will no longer be held down in this 3rd dimensional reality.

Would you willingly be harvested like an ear of corn?

Would you leave because, in your mind, anywhere else MUST be better than here?

We have lost our connection with the infinite creator source who stands in the light of truth and love.  While we all carry that spark of divinity, the flame has significantly dwindled as those in power keep us perpetually living in fear.  Additionally, many people will give away what little power they have to religion, governments, money, etc… and will refuse to see how their power has been The central character in the Law of One is Ra. Ra is a "sun god" and is also known as Amon (Amen) Ra. According to Robert Morning Sky's research, the Ra lineage eventually became the Rockefellers (Ra-Ka-Pharoahs) and the and Rothschild (RA-KA-M = RA-KAM <KAM = shield> = RA-Shield = Rothschild) families.hijacked by these controlling entities.

How much do you trust the RA-kefellers and the RA-thschild families?

How much do you trust Ra?

In the Sumerian texts, Ra is known as Marduk, Enki’s first born son (sun).  The etymology of Marduk is as follows: MAR (MR = son of ) DUK (dog – Sirius).  Marduk, the “sun” of a Sirian god, is literally a son of a bitch!

In chapter 8 of the 14 Tablets of Enki, it is stated, “At the first harvest there is a celebration and the two twin earthling men make their offerings to the kings two sons.”

No matter which origin you choose, Ra will always be a false “god” and is by no means, the infinite creator source who stands in the light of truth and love.

What does the harvest really mean?

To be “harvested” can never be a good thing.  When you look at Ra and see how subservience, control and conformity are always hidden behind his intention of love and being of service to others, you get a good idea of where this is heading.

Schumann Resonance and the Harvest

Recently, the Schumann Resonance (SR) went up to 8.50, the highest I’ve seen since I have been watching it.  The SR is the resonance or “heartbeat” of Mother Earth and has been at 7.83hz for what many people believe to be thousands of years. This is proof that our planet is raising her vibration and she is giving us the opportunity to raise our vibration with her.

Possible scenarios

Here is a very possible scenario: You agree to be part of the "harvest", with no guarantees of anything except what "they" promise you or stay here while Mother Earth raises her vibration and eliminates the archons who have kept us enslaved for so long. Here is a very possible scenario:  You agree to be part of the “harvest”, with no guarantees of anything except what “they” promise you or stay here while Mother Earth raises her vibration and eliminates the archons who have kept us enslaved for so long.

This is what Dolores Cannon is talking about when she says the Earth will be separated into two Earths.  According to Cannon, those who raise their vibrations (in conjunction to Mother Earth) will be part of the New Earth where you could feasibly wake up one day and see a world like you’ve never seen before without the hierarchical control we have now.

Dolores is a hypnotherapist who specializes in past life regressions. For the past 20 years, she has been receiving messages from entities, through her clients, about what we can expect in the very near future. The following is an excerpt from Dolores Cannon’s ‘Convoluted Universe Book Two from the chapter, ‘The New Earth‘.

Let’s imagine you decide to leave.  Even if you leave this planet, you’re still part of the system.  The good news is that Earth is one of the few organically sentient beings in this galaxy, so staying with According to Gregg Braden's research, we are only utilizing 22 of the 64 codons in our DNA. Imagine if the raising of frequency between Mother Earth, in conjunction with the Schumann Resonance, was the only thing stopping our DNA from fully activating? If this were the case, then those who leave would still have 32 codons locked and would not be part of the DNA activation here on Earth. Conversely, there is no guaarantee that leaving would be any better than what we already have. It could possibly be worse. her could very well be the exit out of this system of control and domination.

If this scenario plays out, then those who choose to stay here would not only have a DNA upgrade, but Earth may even move herself out of this system of control.

Remember, all possibilities exist right now and we are simply playing out the highest probability of all possibilities.

What will I do?

Just like any other text, the words of Ra can easily be manipulated to control the masses, including my perspective in this article which is why I always insist on using your own discernment on anything you read because just about everything we have been taught is a lie.  That being said, those who have followed In5D know I always stand up for love and truth and would never intentionally mislead anyone, so this is YOUR decision to make.

According to Ra, there have been two other times in Earth’s history for a possible harvest in which none of the criteria were met to have a successful one.  Just like the story of how Jesus was created by the Council of Nicea, there is no material that supports this claim other than what was channeled through Carla Rueckert.

From what we have learned about Ra through the Sumerian texts along with how Ra is another “sun god” just like Jesus, the story has holes in it and it has us, once again, giving away our power to a higher source who appears to us as a savior.

As for me, if a spaceship comes for the harvest, I’m staying here because Mother Earth’s resonance will destroy the archons who have been feeding off of our fears for millennia.  Plus, she has been raising her vibrations which may help to facilitate the “New Earth” that Dolores Cannon has written and spoken about.

For those who decide to be part of the harvest, I hope you enjoy the experience because this is why we ultimately incarnate into this world.

Please keep this in mind: You are MUCH MORE POWERFUL than you know! NEVER give away your sovereign power to anyone, especially to those who do not stand in the light of love and truth.
In this writer’s opinion, amazing days are ahead!

My decision: If there’s a “harvest”, you can count me out.

If you were given the choice, would you want to be part of this harvest?  If so, why?  If not, why?  Comment below!

Great Mystery Is Solved

Awakening the power to reshape our world.

Modern science is hot on the trail of solving one of the greatest mysteries of all time. Nearly 70 years of research in an area known as the “new physics” is pointing to a conclusion that we cannot escape.

The discovery: Everything in our world is connected to everything else. That’s the news that changes everything, and which is absolutely shaking the foundations of science, as we know it today. “OK,” you say. “We’ve heard this before. What makes this conclusion so different? What does it really mean to be so connected?” The difference between the new discoveries and what we previously believed is that in the past we were simply told that the connection exists. The new experiments, however, take us one step further.

Dearest Global Family,

Welcome to this new edition of “Bridging Science, Spirituality, and the Real World,” the only official newsletter for Gregg Braden!

Since our last edition I’ve had the opportunity to travel across four continents and speak with hundreds of people from 12 countries regarding the dramatic changes in our world, and what those changes mean in their lives. As different as the countries, people, and languages are from one another, there’s a common theme that came up time and again in the course of our conversations: What can we do to make our lives better while the world is going through so much change? It’s a great question, and the answer leads to the very crux of what my 2013 books, seminars, and media specials are all about.

The Facts
To answer the question we must honestly and truthfully acknowledge two facts that give context and meaning to the world that’s unfolding before our eyes. The facts are:

  1. We live in a time of extremes.
  2. We can no longer separate our everyday lives from the global stage.

It’s these facts that change everything about the way we’ve been led to think of ourselves, our relationship to the world, and the way we solve problems of relationships, finance, health and careers. It’s precisely because our daily lives and world events are so closely linked that we can no longer separate them.

The crises of climate change, for example, extreme weather, failing crops and failing economies translate directly into the cost of the transportation to and from our jobs; the cost of the food at our local market; the interest we pay to the local bank for the loans on our cars, homes and education, and the interest the local bank pays us on our CDs, IRAs and personal savings. The fractured economies of the world translate directly into the stress in our lives at the loss of neighborhood businesses and local jobs; the closing of factories and the loss of the benefits they bring to our local communities. There is no doubt in my mind that such big shifts happening on the world stage pave the way to healthier, safer, happier lives for us all. I am also under no illusion about the amount of change it takes for us to get to that better world.

Our lives are changing in ways that we’re not used to, and the change is happening faster than we’ve been prepared to think about and deal with.

The bottom line

While we certainly cannot solve the problems of the whole world in our living rooms, it’s from our living rooms, offices and classrooms we can choose how we respond to what the world is showing us. The key is that it all comes down to the way we think—about ourselves, our relationship to others, our relationship to the world today and our relationship to the past. It’s through the lens of our thinking that we solve the challenges that cross our doorstep each day.

The Answer

I began this letter with the question “What can we do to make our lives better while the world is going through so much change?” The following is an example of the transformation that’s possible in the answerIn our recent past, we’ve been led to believe that we’re separate from ourselves, separate from Earth, separate from our history and that we solve our problems through competition and conflict. It’s these beliefs that have led us to meet the challenges of our lives through the way we answer, consciously or subconsciously, the following question:

What can I get from the world that exists?

Through new discoveries of today’s best science (Deep TruthHay House 2011), we now know that some of the thinking of the past was incorrect, and some the thinking was plain wrong. The new discoveries tell us that through our thoughts, feelings and emotions we are deeply connected with ourselves, interdependent upon the world around us, deeply connected with our past and that Nature is based upon a model of cooperation and mutual aid. These discoveries lead us to change the question. The new question is:

What can I share with the world that’s emerging?

The way we answer this question is the key to everything. It opens new doors of possibility to the loss of jobs, careers and familiar ways of life in the past. And it gives us a way to embrace the needs of the new world that’s emerging rather than being stuck in an idea of a world that no longer exists.

A perfect example of this change of thinking in real life is the story of Ken, a friend of mine who lives in a rural community in Northern New Mexico. When his business as a home builder collapsed with the housing crisis of 2008, he asked himself the question

What can I share with the world that’s emerging?”

His answer was to apply the skills he’d developed building homes, which were no longer needed in 2008, to begin building something that was needed then, and continues to be needed today. He began to design and build a unique style of modular greenhouse so people would have a reliable supply of affordable food. Through Ken’s innovative design, his greenhouses can be used indoors or outdoors and will sustain a family, or a community 12 months of the year, regardless of climate and weather. To read Ken’s story click here. It’s stories like Ken’s that translate the theories of what’s possible in our world into real-life examples of transformation in our lives. Enjoy the story and I look forward to seeing you “on the road” in 2013!

With love and deep gratitude,

Gregg Braden

In addition to proving that we are connected to everything, research now proves that the connection exists because of us—specifically because of our consciousness. Our connectedness gives us the power to stack the deck in our favor when it comes to the way our lives play out. In everything from searching for romance and healing our loved ones, to the fulfillment of our deepest aspirations and the peace of our world, we are an integral part of all that we experience each day. That the discoveries show we can use our connection consciously opens the door to nothing less than our opportunity to tap the same power that drives the entire universe.

Through the connection that lives inside of you, me, and every human that walks the earth we have a direct line to the same force that creates everything from atoms and stars to the DNA of life! Read more »

Our ultimate fate will be the outcome of all the major crises of our time if they are left unchecked. These crises include: an unsustainable world population; climate change; growing shortages of food and fresh water; the widening gap between poverty and wealth, health and disease, and illiteracy and education, and the growing threat of war.

We know these problems exist. We’ve already applied the best minds of our time, and the best science based upon the best theories available, to study these problems. But if we were on the right track with our thinking, doesn’t it make sense that we would have more answers and better solutions by now? The fact that we don’t tells us we need to think differently.

I believe there are six deep truths (and the facts they reveal) that will radically change the way we’ve been led to think about our world and ourselves in the past. Let’s explore what they mean. Talk them over with the important people in your life; and discover if, and how, they may change the story that is shared in your family and across our world.

Deep Truth 5

A growing body of scientific data from multiple disciplines, gathered using new technology, provides evidence beyond any reasonable doubt that humankind reflects a design put into place at once, rather than a life-form emerging randomly through an evolutionary process over a long period of time.

On 2012 – Gregg Braden’s Letter to the Community

Gregg Braden
a message from Gregg Braden
Friday, 10 February, 2012

At last, 2012 has arrived! As we enter into a pivotal year for us and our world, it’s clear that the role of community has become key to the way we navigate the huge changes that life seems to be bringing our way. I’m taking the opportunity to personally express my deepest gratitude to you for all that you do to make the big community of our world a better place.

I want you to know that I’ve never been more optimistic about our future and the world that is emerging before our eyes!

From the oral traditions of ancient peoples throughout the world, to the theme of the world’s most cherished spiritual traditions, the significance of our 2012 “window of change” has been no secret. Our ancestors knew this time of change was coming, because it always does. They understood the cyclic nature of Earth’s shifting environment. (Fractal Time, 2009) They also knew that our future would be determined less by the changes themselves and more about us, and whether we choose to fight one another, or work to help one another, as we go through the changes. (Deep Truth, 2011)

For very different reasons, the best minds of today agree. Scientists, engineers, social architects, religious and spiritual leaders throughout the world are warning us that the choices we make in our immediate future will determine nothing less than the fate of our nations, civilization itself, and the future of life here on Earth. (Crossroads for Planet Earth, Scientific American, September 2005)

I’ve been asked by many people, from many places in the world, to comment on the events of 2011 and where I believe they’re leading and what we can expect for 2012 and the years ahead. Rather than responding to hundreds of letters individually I’ve chosen to answer in one letter to our community.

The Stage is Set:

It’s no secret that the world of the past is gone. The conventional ways of thinking and living that we’ve grown accustomed to — the ways we’ve thought of jobs, careers, money, wealth, security, healing and the role of America in the larger world are falling away before our eyes, faster than even those who knew the changes were coming could have expected. It is a fact that you and I are witnessing the greatest shift in power, wealth, resources and thinking in recorded history. And while the experts have their viewpoints regarding what lies at the root of specific crises and what “went wrong” with this or that, when we step back and look at the big picture, the reason for such massive change becomes obvious: the world of the past is no longer sustainable.

From our policies of energy, economics and technology to the way we think of security and how nations work together, the choices made in the past no longer work in the world of today. As we discover the limits and experience the consequences of the vast learning curve that has led to 2012, we’ve arrived at a turning point with only one of two possible outcomes – transformation or collapse.

Choice Point 2012

While ancient traditions and modern science underscore the magnitude of our time in history, they also remind us of a powerful fact: it is through our choices that the outcomes will be determined. The question is this: How do we tip the scales of peace, cooperation and healing in our favor? Specifically, how do we create an environment that supports fair and sustainable economies? That shares Earth respectfully and compassionately with all life? That bridges the issues that tear at the fabric of society?

The diverse body of work that I’ve developed over the past 25 years is my answer to these questions. The choices we make in life are a reflection of the way we think of ourselves, our relationship to the Earth, our past, and to one another. I believe that when the facts of these relationships are clear, our choices become obvious. Those of you that know me personally know that I’m an optimist. I’m also a realist. I’m optimistic about our future, while I realistically acknowledge that we are poised on the brink of what will either become some very bad choices, or very some good decisions. For me, knowing that choices exist, and that we’re living a time that gives our choices a greater potency, gives new meaning and renewed hope to this 2012 year of emergence.

The shift in thinking

So, what do I think 2012 has in store? Honestly, I can’t say because we’re still in the process of choosing. What I do know is that it will take every one of us, and the diversity of our beliefs and ideas, and the love for life that we bring to our global community to birth the world of our greatest destiny rather than succumb to the darkness of our greatest fears. For those who can embrace the learning curve of our past without judgment, the future becomes the palate for new industry, new jobs, new forms of expression, and new communities based upon sustainable ways of thinking, living, and being in our world. For those who cling to old and unsustainable ways of living by clinging to old and unsustainable ways of thinking, 2012 may, in fact, look like the fulfillment of history’s darkest prophecies.

Perhaps one of the most powerful keys to determining our experience of the months ahead comes from a shift in thinking that invites us beyond asking, “What can I get from the world that exists,” to asking, “What can I offer to the world that is awakening?” The way we answer this question as individuals becomes our collective answer to what comes next.

Personally, I’ve never felt better about the future and the possibilities that await us. Now it’s up to us. We’ve already made the choices of peace and cooperation in our hearts. Now it’s time for us to live those choices in our world. I look forward to working with you as we do so, together, throughout this new year of 2012, and beyond.

Gregg Braden on Science & Spirituality

Deep Wisdom: The Marriage of Science and Spirituality

by Gregg Braden on May 30, 2011

During the last years of the Cold War, I had a front row seat as a senior systems designer in the defense industry to one of the most frightening times in the history of the world, and the thinking that led to it. During the last years of the most potentially lethal, yet undeclared, war in human history, the superpowers of the United States and the former Soviet Union did something that seems unthinkable to any rationally minded person today. They spent the time, energy, and human resources to develop and stockpile somewhere in the neighborhood of 65,000 nuclear weapons—a combined arsenal with the power to microwave the Earth, and everything on it, many times over.

The rationale for such an extreme effort stems from a way of thinking that has dominated much of the modern world for the last 300 years or so, since the beginning of the scientific era. It’s based in the false assumptions of scientific thinking that suggest we’re somehow separate from the Earth, separate from one another, and that the nature that gives us life is based upon relentless struggle and survival of the strongest. Fortunately, new discoveries have revealed that each of these assumptions is absolutely false. Unfortunately, however, there is a reluctance to reflect such new discoveries in mainstream media, traditional classrooms and conventional textbooks. In other words, we’re still teaching our young people the false assumptions of an obsolete way of thinking based on struggle, competition, and war.

While we no longer face the nuclear threat that we did in the 1980s, the thinking that made the Cold War possible is still in place. This fact is vital to us all right now for one simple reason: For the first time in human history the future of our entire species rests upon the choices of a single generation—us—and the choices are being made within a small window of time—now. The best minds of our time are telling us that we must act quickly to avert the clear and present danger of a host of new crises that are converging in a “bottleneck” of time covering the first years of the 21st Century.

The journal Scientific American released a special edition (vol. 293, no. 3, September 2005) to bring the world up to speed on the critical situation we find ourselves in today. The title, Crossroads for Planet Earth, says it all. The way we solve the simultaneous crises—such as our response to climate change, the unsustainable and growing levels of extreme poverty, the emergence of new diseases, the growing shortages of food and fresh drinking water, the growing chasm between extreme wealth and extreme poverty, and the unsustainable demand for energy—will chart the destiny, or seal the fate of our global family that is estimated to reach a staggering 8 billion by 2025.

The key here is that the way we address the greatest crises of human history is based on the way we think of ourselves and the world. Clearly, the thinking that led to the war and suffering of the 20th century is not the thinking that we want the delicate choices of our survival based upon!

Developing a new level of thinking is precisely what we need to do today, and the magnitude of crises that face us may prove to be the catalyst for doing just that! The emerging bridge between the sciences that tell us how the universe works, and the spiritual traditions that give such knowledge meaning in our lives, plays a vital role in the new thinking that heads off the darkest possibilities of our future. But while the crises of the moment may be the catalyst for such a shift in thinking, something even deeper is emerging.

The new shift in thinking is the gateway to human transformation. And because of the sheer number of people involved in the shift, and the growing magnitude of the crises that are driving us to change the way we think, we are standing on the threshold of human transformation at a level unlike anything ever before known on Earth.

The spiritual traditions that I’m describing are the core principles of ancient and time-tested understandings—principles now confirmed by 20th century science that include the interconnected nature of all things, the power of the human heart to positively influence the magnetic fields of the earth and all life, and the cyclic nature of life, climate, civilization and change. The spiritual traditions of our ancestors got these principles right and embodied them at the core of their lives in their time. It’s the marriage of these holistic principles with the best science of today that helps us to tip the scales of life, balance, and peace in our favor.

While the specifics of spiritual principles may vary from tradition to tradition, the essence of their message does not. It’s simple, direct and states that we live in a world where everything has meaning, and is meaningful to everything else. What happens in the oceans has meaning for the climate of the mountains. What happens in a river has meaning for the life that depends upon the river. The choices that you and I make as we express our beliefs in our living rooms and around family dinner tables have meaning for the people in our immediate lives, as well as for those connected through the coherence fields of the human heart living halfway around the Earth.

By crossing the traditional boundaries that define the science, religion, and the history of our past, we are shown the power of a larger, integrated, and holistic worldview. I cannot help but believe that our destiny and fate as a species are intimately entwined with our willingness to accept the Deep Wisdom of a spiritually based science. It’s all about the way we think of ourselves, our relationship to the Earth and to one another. When the facts become clear, our choices become obvious.
